This is especially important because air conditioning is not NEARLY as common as it is in the United States, in fact, a lot of businesses will advertise if they have AC.

Luckily for those with a sweet tooth, you’re in luck! Towns will almost always have an ice cream within walking distance from any public parking, especially in high tourist areas. It’s pretty cheap too, generally €1.80 for a scoop. Chocolate shops are often air conditioned to keep the chocolate from melting
