lil update post thats mostly rambling tbh

i'm feeling a bit better after a few days of not letting myself ruminate on everything so much. still don't have electricity tho </3 but things are getting better slowlyy. i even managed to draw a lil too

i've adjusted a good bit more to the routine at this point. a lot of people are still struggling out there and once i get my electricity back i'm gonna spread some more resources since wayyy more are available & up-to-date now than what's in my initial post about all this, but for now i'm just lettin y'all know i'm still truckin along 👍

also i wanna give another thanks to yall for spreading that post around so much, even if it's slowed down a lil by now. for those first few days it really felt like we were completely isolated from the world and nobody knew or cared, but i've seen a huge increase in people talking about our situation here since then and it's been surprisingly uplifting. one of the reasons appalachians are such hardheaded motherfuckers is because we're used to having to help each other rather than rely on folks outside the mountains, but seeing y'all expressing sympathies and wanting to help however you can, even if you don't live nearby, has made me feel so much better about our ability to come back from this.

Today feels like yesterday never happened, like yesterday was just a bad dream. It wasn't exactly bright and early, but Ed basically jumps out of the bed. He's tempted to go find Stede or to have someone fetch him, but maybe he needs to tide up first, the place is just a mess since last time they were here. Tying his hair up, he begins to clean as quickly as he can, needing a way to let out all the energy he had. No, that is not going to be enough, he needs something else, something more. He still needs to find what the hell he is going to do, he shouldn't be a pirate anymore, he is bored of that, but he is bored of fishing too, so he has to find something else. And he needs to find different clothes, he shouldn't look like Blackbeard, but he shouldn't look like a poor person either. Maybe he can look like Stede used to, his fancy clothes that even Stede thinks Ed looks good in.

Now he is moving the little furniture they have around, the place does need a bit of change, doesn't it? And maybe it's the noise that draws Stede in the cabin, or maybe the man just wants to come in because it's his cabin. In any case, Ed is delighted to see him and walks to him right away  ❝ Hi there. ❞ he wraps his arm around the other's waist to pull him closer to him ❝ How about we... have some fun, hm?❞ Edward winks at him and leans closer for a kiss, waiting for Stede to agree to it. Yeah last time felt like a mistake, but they've moved past that, more or less. This is different and in any case, he can't really think of a reason not to, at the moment. ❝ Second time is that charm, that's what they say. ❞ he whispers, a small grin on his lips.

Fun fact : kanji has been in the lower part of the sea ever since he was a kid and has been a mamas boy due to his dad died to mysterious circumstances he's been trying to find out who killed his father for his mother's sake and when he got kidnapped in the TV world he fist fighted shadows and shadows feared him all because he was punching them left and right without no persona

and when this man was rescued he hugged yu and yosuke and said thank you to them because he got tired of killing shadows with his bare hands also he joined the investigation team and has been the greatest homie and the brawn of the team

and ever since the fog has been rising he's been trying to find a way to prevent it by using empty metal barrels to keep the fog contaminate and it somehow worked out a little bit but he still needed some more help so it's a good thing nato confronted him and wanted to help out of the situation he's in

so they both did try and scoop up some crystals with the middle barrels with protection against the radiation-like crystals and they sealed with metal top containers it worked by it basically reduced to like a little bit of fog and his area but it started to grow when he was asleep really fast and he woke up and he swam to get away from the fog

until he bumps into yu again and he however never told him much but told him about how he didn't get contaminated with the cursed crystals of "mother nature" all because he was wearing protective gear that will probably be important later

yu was kind of surprised and was curious but he congratulate him on trying to get rid of the crystals that were growing the fog

no matter how kanji tries help out he always feared all because of his strength and his aggressiveness but due to all this his feminine side shows no bounds,when he's alone he likes stitching seaweed together into baskets because he thought it was kinda pretty and he has been doing it when no one is around
