Y/N had decided today was a good day for vlogging since she had so much to do. she was standing in the kitchen talking to her phone, making breakfast. “So right now I’m making this recipe that Grayson and I found a while ago, uh, I wanted to make it by myself before I had Grayson try it because he doesn’t seem like a picky eater but literally all he eats for breakfast is avocado toast so-“

Y/N’s eyes widened as she heard the front door fly open and a set of keys dropped on the floor.

“Y/N?!” Grayson sounded incredibly out of breath and frantic. She called a quick “in the kitchen!” as looked at the camera with a confused look. She heard his fast footsteps towards her and warned him that whatever he was about to say, would be recorded.

“I’m film-“

“I love you.”

Silence fell over the couple as they stared at one another. Grayson walked to Y/N and held her face in his large hands. “We were filming the video, just doing everything like normal and I just realized how much I missed you and wanted you there and how much you’d be laughing at how ridiculous we were being and then I realized that I love you, Y/N. I love you so much and I just left. I left Ethan in the woods because I needed you to know right now that I love you so much.”

Grayson was out of breath by the time he finished his little speech. Y/N had set down he phone halfway through but was too stunned to hit the stop button. They looked into each other’s eyes, communicating silently. Y/N raised up on her tiptoes and kissed Grayson hard. It wasn’t a full make out, just one long, forceful kiss. She was repeating everything he had just said to her, right back to him through that one kiss. He felt it. He knew she was telling him. She needn’t say anything because he knew.

Y/N pulled away from Grayson and he pressed his forehead to hers. “I love you so much, Grayson. So much.” She paused for a moment and continued, “but you need to go get Ethan.”

They both chuckled as Grayson nodded, pulling away from her embrace. “Yea, he’s gonna kill me.”

Grayson found the keys he dropped and gave Y/N one last kiss before making his way back to where he left his twin and Kyle. Y/N looked back down at her phone and realized it was still recording.

“I can’t believe I got that on video. I’m gonna refilm some and cut that last part out. That- that’s just for us.”

When you have someone caring and loving in your life, everything seems to be easier and better. Even the sad moments that wanna make you quit. 

That someone I have is Grayson. I know him since pre school because our parents were best friends with each other. We started off as best friends too, him, Ethan and I would always be up for stupid shit and sometimes Cameron would join our adventures. Both Gray and I loved each other more than in a friendly way and we just kinda knew it but couldn’t admit it. Until freshman year of high school came. The boy I loved more than my life, Grayson,asked me out on a date. 

Ever since that day, our relationship only grew and turned better. I never thought that I would get pregnant at the age of 21 though, but here I am eating for two. Not gonna lie, at first when I found out I was pregnant I was scared as hell. About me not being good enough for my kid or my parents think it’s too early and we’re too young to have a family of our own. But I never doubted about Grayson’s thoughts on my pregnancy. 

We both want to get married and have little Dolans run around the house, so I knew he would be supportive. We told our parents about it and they were happy and excited, but at the same time shocked and a little scared. Now I’m 2 months pregnant and happier than ever.

“Babe are you ready to leave?” Grayson asked me as he entered our bedroom.

“Just give me 5 more minutes” I said.

“Okay” He answered and kissed me.

God after all these years, everytime he kisses me I feel like the first time, when we were 15.

We were getting ready to go to a road trip that Gray had in mind. We would drive all the way to a beach he found and really liked and then we would have a lil picnic there.

We left the house and headed to our adventure. 2 hours passed and we were still on the road, in Gray’s Bronco, blasting music and talking about literally everything.

“Our child is gonna be so lucky to have you as a father” I told Gray and brushed his thigh with my hand.

“A good father needs a good mother by his side, that’s why I have you” He told me and smiled

I reached to kiss his cheek and suddenly everything went black…. 

“Where…where am I?” I opened my eyes and realized I was laying on a bed that wasn’t familiar. I was in a hospital room. 

 “She’s awake”. A doctor said while he walked in the room with 2 nurses. 

“What’s going on? Where’s Grayson? Grayson”. I yelled his name. 

Oh my God. What if something happened to him? I need to know where he is. I need to know if he’s okay. 

The nurses tried to calm me down. “Please try to calm down Mrs. Y/N.” 

“What happened, why am I here and where’s Grayson?” 

“You had a car accident and…” I cut him off. 

“Where’s Grayson? The boy who was with me”. I start panicking. 

 I heard the door open and saw my family walk in. 

“Y/N”. my mom hugged me. She was crying but I figured it was because she was scared of what happened. I started to remember what happened. I went to kiss Grayson and a car hit us from the passengers seat. After that I don’t remember anything. I don’t know who called the ambulance or who hit us. 

“Mom please tell me Grason is okay.”

“He’s fine”. my dad told me and put his hand on my hands.

 “He broke his leg but the doctor did his surgery and everything’s okay”. He reassured me.

“I want to see him please.”

 I basically begged the doctor to take me where his room was. 

“He hasn’t woken up from the surgery. But once he’s awake you will be able to see him.”

 I was a little relieved because nothing bad enough happened to put his life on risk but I still wanted to see him. The doctor looked at me, then back at my family and then back at me and took a deep breath. 

“Y/N I have to tell you something” 

“You…..you lost the baby”. Once I heard those words it was like my whole world fell apart. 

 “What w- what do you-”. I said and start panicking and yelling. 

 “No… no no that’s not true”. I started crying.

 “Listen to me Y/N, you have to be strong”. My dad put both of his hands on each of my shoulders.

 “I was supposed to give birth in 7 months, that can’t be true”. I was now sobbing and feeling weaker than ever.

 “The car crash made you fall and get injured on your stomach…” The doctor started explaining to me how I got hurt but all I could think of was the baby I just lost. After a while someone entered the room.

It was Grayson, sitting on a wheelchair since he broke his leg. How was I supposed to tell him that the child we were both waiting for, was… gone. 

“Y/N baby are you okay?” He said as Ethan, his twin brother, pushed the wheelchair towards my bed. I wiped my tears off and tried to speak as calmly as I could. 

“I’m okay Gray, how are you? Does your leg still hurts? You should be in bed you haven’t recovered from the Surgery". I told him and my voice cracked. 

 “We’ll leave you two alone”. The doctor said and everyone left the room. I sat on the bed and put my hands on Grayson’s.

 “Babe… I have to tell you something serious but you need to be strong.” I closed my eyes for a few seconds, took a deep breath and bit my lip to stop my tears from falling.

“I I- lost the baby” I said and tears fell on my hands.

Grayson said nothing. All he did was look at the wall with a lost expression on his face.

 “Wh-what?” I squeezed his hands. 

“I’m so sorry it was my fault, I should be more careful but I can’t-” He cut me off. 

“Y/N don’t you ever say again that it was your fault. You couldn’t predict the car accident, please don’t ever say that.” He said and started crying. 

 “But-” He cut me off again. 

“No Y/N, don’t say anything else. All I want you to remember is that we will try for another baby, we will get through that. Together. I love you more than you can ever imagine and I’m gonna be by your side no matter how many bad and unfortunate things are gonna come our way. You are strong and I know you can get through this. I will always be with you. ” He said and I hugged him with all The strength I had left.
