There are a few candidates, and there might be some among them that are more impressive on a technical level... but I will always, always go back to Shirley Mason's "Samson and Delilah".

A+ lyrics centred on biblical mythology, a vocalist I really connect with, a rhythm I love, AND a kickass cinematic sequence that introduced me to it all.

Finding out that Bear McCreary (also known for the credits in Black Sails, among other things!) was the composer behind it? Not a surprise.

1] Dear Wormwood - The Oh Hellos:

So, I've been "working" [haha. smh .... no] on a possible future Kenedis, who is a mix of TWC!Kendis, Exile!Kendis, and a couple of past RP concepts. So, ofc, this mean shit parents have to be a part of the backstory. Hence this song that I feel fits my nebulous ideas for an arc, lol.

2] Seven Devils - Florence + The Machine: What playlist wouldn't be made better without this song? I just don't know which one to put it in yet, lol. I am making a series of playlists for a set of future characters for a RP i might be joining [the one mentioned above], it started with me wanting a Florence song for Kendis [bc I've had at least one Florence song or at least a song by an indie rock/folk artist in my past few Kendis playlists]. But I'm still deciding if this is the one I want. But I just ended up thinking about this song a lot as well as about how much I like/d it. So here it is!

3] Silence - Khalid, Marshmello:

I haven't strongly with the desire to write, but I've been still low-key itching with ideas. And one of the ideas, is for this future RP, involving a darker Andy. I usually play Andy before or after the travesty that really fucked up his life [he has a few too, so I should say ADULT life]. But not during for many years. I'm [nervously] hoping to, and this song fits real well what I've been pondering. Not 10, 000% but strongly enough.

5] Achilles Come Down - Gangs of Youth: You crave the applause yet hate the attention.

Sooooo I recently realized this song is perfect for Kendis. I don't know why I never have, lmao. I mean in general but particularly for specific Kendis'. Again, like the above it''s 10, 000% but it's ENOUGH that I've re-fallen in love with this song. Ugh. It hurts.

this list, of course, isn’t comprehensive. it also doesn’t have most of main ships I point to when talking about FORMATIVE childhood/teenhood ships [Piper/Leo, Inuyasha/Kagome, Ron/Hermione, Jesse/Slater, Fran/Maxwell] -- well maybe I’ve never spoken about them on these blogs], but these ones are still probably revealing effective and were the ones clamoring in my head as I made this list.

This is also ships that were actually canon or definitely with the subtext. If we went into tinfoil hat territory, I’d be here forever.

1. are you named after anyone?

Sort of. My mom wanted a first name similar to hers. My middle name is from my dad and my confirmation name (which is technically one of my middle names) is also from my dad.

2. when was the last time you cried?

Well, I cried laughing with @quaxorascal when we talked about the character stuff. And yall make me tear up regularly, but I don’t remember the last time I cried cried (which doesn’t mean much -- my memory is shit). Probably my uncle’s funeral a few months ago?

3. do you have kids?

No. 

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

It’s genetic. I can’t not. 

5. what sports do you play/have you played?

I used to do karate. I used to “play” soccer/tennis (ie was forced to). But I refuse to sport. Is walking a sport? Trying to get back into walking.  Maybe one day karate. 

6. what’s the first thing you notice about other people?

I don’t know. Probably the thing they don’t want me to notice. My eyes just zeroes into the most random thing. 

7. eye colour?

Brown.

8. scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings. Especially if they sweat for it. But I do love a good fluffy.

9. any special talents?

Um. I can bend my thumb behind the back of my palm. Not as well as I used to when i was younger. But.

I can curl my tongue. That’s rare right?

10. where were you born?

Someplace in Queens, NY. 

11. what are your hobbies?

Life.

Currently making playlists and learning psd. But I still consider writing and reading and watching TV among them tho those are rarely done.

12. do you have any pets?

No.

13. how tall are you?

5′3.5

14. favourite subject in school?

History/Social Studies. Then English. Psychology  & Spanish too in high school

15. dream job?

I don’t know.
