can i request a bridgerton au fic with nikolai? (i was reading not so simple earlier and was thinking about nikolai and now i can’t get the idea out of my head lol) maybe the reader isn’t the diamond of the season, so she has no idea why nikolai (A PRINCE!!) wants to court her
sweet relief
pairing: nikolai lantsov x fem!reader (bridgerton au!!!)
summary: you meet a striking stranger at your first ball, only to discover he is not a stranger at all.
a/n: thank you so much for requesting this man it was so much fun to write i got carried away!!! i hate nikolai and his charming self so much
wc: 3k
warning(s): none that i can think of ??
Nikolai is bored.
In truth, he does not fully know why he is here. Vasily has already been declared as the catch of the season, and the heir to the throne is much more valuable than the second son. But he is back in London after years spent traveling—not in search of a wife, he might add, to the chagrin of his mother—and he supposes that is cause for some interest.
In the most basic sense of the word, Nikolai is also a prince, though he hardly has claim to the title. Not with the rumors of his true parentage floating about.
If he was lucky, he figured he’d find some fun around Mayfair. If he was unlucky, he will be forced to deal with swarms of eager debutantes and even more eager mamas.
And at this ball, Nikolai has realized that he is unlucky.
He’s already had to fight off a horde of eligible ladies and their mothers, and explain ten times over that he is not here to participate in the season, he is just here to visit family. He doesn’t think they’ve heard a single word he’s said. They only see the lack of a ring on his finger.
It is why he has found himself in some corner of the ball, a glass of champagne—that he wished was brandy—held loosely in his hand as he tuned out the idle musings of the men he’d somehow ended up around. His eyes dart around the ballroom, looking for anything even remotely interesting to get him through this night.
He catches a glimpse of a pair walking through the doors, a mother and a daughter that he recognizes as a debutante from earlier in the day, but before he is granted the chance for further inquisition, his thoughts are interrupted.
“Your Highness,” someone says, and his attention is drawn from his glass to not just one, but three pairs of mothers and mares, surely trying to vye for his hand. “It is an honor to meet you.”
“I was unaware of my popularity,” Nikolai says wryly, looking at each of the women in turn. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“The pleasure is all ours,” another mother says brightly, and he sees her nudge her daughter. “If I may introduce my daughter, Miss Eleanor Woodbridge?”
Nikolai bows his head in greeting, and she curtsies. When Miss Woodbridge speaks, her head is still bowed. “It is an honor to meet you, Your Highness.”
“So I’ve already heard,” he remarks.
Her cheeks flush bright red as she stands back up, and the next mother begins to introduce her daughter, and then the next—a Miss Evelyn Frances and a Miss Anna Huntsbury.
Nikolai ends up in a dance with Miss Huntsbury at the nudging of her mother, and though it is perfectly pleasant, he can’t fully enjoy it with all of the eyes on him.
It is not as if he doesn’t enjoy attention. He is perfectly fine with being the center of attention, with being adored by women, with dancing and balls and all sorts of revelry.
But this— especially after his travels to other countries, away from good society and the expectations of nobles— is so unbelievably predictable. All of these mothers attempting to find their daughter a husband, only interested in Nikolai because of a title he likely won’t earn. He doubts a single one cares of the man behind the Lantsov brand.
But a second prince is better than no prince at all, and thus the moment he is off the dance floor, he is once again swarmed by women.
He allows an inward sigh as he plasters on a smile.
It is going to be a very long night.
-
You are inexplicably nervous.
You’ve just debuted and you are already in attendance of a ball. God, why must they hold the season’s first ball the night of all the debuts? You haven’t even had the afternoon to soak everything in—to truly absorb the fact that you must search for a husband—as your mother and lady’s maid spent every moment ensuring you were the image of perfection for tonight.
In your mother’s opinion, they succeeded. But you already feel as if you are suffocating in your gown.
You are not the diamond, but in truth, you are thankful for it. There is already a huge weight on your shoulders to make a match—you could not imagine having the queen’s eye on you the entire time. You wished luck to Miss Jasmine, both that she could avoid horrendous suitors and the queen’s ire.
Your mother says your name softly as you cross the threshold into the ballroom, immediately overtaken by the dancing and the musicians and glittering jewels. “Are you alright?”
You shake your head rapidly. “No, Mother, I do not think I am alright. I am at my first ball of the season and I believe I may pass out.”
She breathes a loose laugh as she shakes her head as well. “You’ve nothing to be nervous about. You will shine just as you always have, my love. I’ve no doubt that a suitor will see that.”
“That is what I am afraid of,” you huff. “I’ve equal fear both of finding a husband and not finding one. How is one meant to dread both of their options?”
“You’ve nothing to be nervous about, and nothing to be afraid of,” she repeats, “and certainly nothing to dread. I’m sure by the end of the night, you will have suitors lining up for a chance at your affections.”
You truly doubt that, but you do not voice anymore of your concerns. Your mother has already done you a favor working through so many of them with you—the least you can do is smile prettily and dance a time or two.
And you do. More than you imagined—your mother sends you away to fetch glasses of lemonade after a few minutes of idle chatter, and after you’ve poured the first glass you are approached by your first suitor.
Lord Kenneth Barham, son of the Earl Pritchard. You’ve no idea what a man of title is doing around you, but he is agreeable and kind throughout your first dance. Had you the ability, you would have stayed by his side for the rest of the night only so you could avoid the rest of your expected debutante duties.
But you do not, and so after a respectful if not slightly boring conversation between the two of you and your mother, he parts ways with the promise to call on you. You are not granted reprieve, to your mother’s delight, and it is not until a near full hour of dancing that you are able to get away.
You slip away while your mother is busy discussing things with the Baron Ashford and his son, and you have never been so thankful for the outdoors when the cool air hits your skin.
You let out a long, deep breath as you attempt to calm yourself. Things are going well, much better than you expected—you are already expecting five gentlemen to call on you by the morrow, three of which are titled.
But you are not even halfway through the ball, and you are already exhausted. Your feet ache and you’ve grown weary of the weight of jewelry on your head and wrists and neck. You’ve truly no idea how you are meant to make it through the entirety of the season, if it is like this.
“I apologize, my lady. I was unaware there was another out here.”
You turn around and hold back a sigh. Even in your attempts to be alone, men still find you.
“I do not have a claim to these gardens,” you say wryly. “You are free to roam.”
He chuckles as he nods, and he takes another few steps towards you. “I wish not to roam—just to take after you and wrestle out a moment for myself in this schedule.”
“Then you have picked a wonderful spot,” you say with a nod. “I will give you time to enjoy it on your own.”
You start on your way, but he steps in your way. “There is no need, my lady. I already rather enjoy your company.”
You raise your eyebrows. “You have been in it for but a moment.”
“And what a lovely moment it has been,” he says.
Normally, irritation would have won over by now. You should not be out here with a man unchaperoned, and you truly just want to be alone for a moment—you’ve a myriad of reasons to stick to your bearings and leave.
But you have to admit, he is agreeable. His blonde hair is artfully styled, he’s dressed rather finely, and his hazel eyes seem to twinkle as he looks at you with a smile.
“...Alright,” you say, and you decide to stay in place for now. “Have you a name, good sir?”
“You can call me Lord Sturmhond,” he says.
You raise an eyebrow. “I apologize, my lord. I’ve not yet heard of you.”
“That just means I am all the more able to make a good impression,” he says, his smile only growing. “Which is rather imperative with a lady such as yourself.”
You feel your cheeks grow warm, and you bite back a smile of your own. “You are quite the charmer. It could be quite scandalous for us to be found alone.”
“You needn’t worry,” Lord Sturmhond says. “I doubt anyone will leave the ballroom. They are all too focused on the visiting princes.”
Your eyes widen. “There are princes here?”
“The Lantsovs,” he nods, and this time his eyebrows rise. “Had you not heard?”
“...My mother may have told me, but it would not come as a shock if I neglected to listen,” you say sheepishly. You let out a deep sigh as you wring your gloved hands together. “I should be all the more thankful to be out here with you, then. The only thing to come of my meeting a prince would be disaster.”
“Oh, I surely doubt it,” Lord Sturmhond says. “I enjoy your presence, and I enjoy your conversation. I believe the princes would feel the same.”
“You flatter me, my lord, but I am in doubt.” Your gaze drifts off to the sky as you take a moment to appreciate the stars. “Truthfully, I am out here because I am overwhelmed. I’ve spent the hour dancing and in conversation with various men, and already I have had to venture out here for reprieve.”
“All of this takes practice,” he says. “It is an unreasonable expectation for debutantes to be thrust into the season and perform perfectly. None of this is a light matter, and yet it is treated as one.”
You sigh. “I just cannot imagine doing this for so many more months. It is going to be a very long season.”
Lord Sturmhond chuckles. “I have thought the exact same thing tonight, my lady.”
You find yourself smiling, freer and more genuine than anything you’d mustered earlier in the night. The other men you’d met were fortunately kind, but you just felt… different out here, with him.
There were no eyes on you, meaning you did not need to act the pinnacle of propriety. That must have been the difference—not the man himself.
In the distance, you can hear the changing melody of the strings, signaling the start of a new dance. Your eyes fall to your dance card, and as you read the last few names, you remember you still owe three more dances. You bite back a very unladylike curse.
“I apologize, my lord,” you say, hurrying through a curtsy as you begin to back your way towards the ball. “I really must be going. My mother will have my head should I stay out here any longer.”
“I understand.” Lord Sturmhond catches up to you in a few quick strides and he takes your hand, stopping you in your tracks. Your breath catches as he presses a kiss to the back of your hand, and your heart hammers in your chest even with the barrier of your glove.
“It was a pleasure to meet you, my lady.” His hazel eyes are nothing less than enchanting as they focus entirely on you, and had you any less sense, you could easily find yourself talking away the hours of the night with him. “Have confidence. I am sure this night will go your way should you wish it.”
“It was a pleasure to meet you as well, my lord,” you say. “I hope it is not too forward of me to wish on our meeting again.”
“Do not worry,” he says. “We will.”
You open your mouth to ask him how he can be so sure, but the strings grow louder and you huff a sigh. In lieu of another goodbye, you nod and grin at the lord before you rush back indoors.
Your mother doesn’t berate you when you appear by her side again, so you were not gone for too long. You get through your next three dances, and your last suitor is just leaving when your mother jabs you in the side.
“Darling, the queen is coming our way,” she whispers. “And she has the Lantsov princes with her.”
You nearly collapse just at that combination of words, but you hold fast—quite literally, as your hold tightens on your mother’s arm. You are thankful to the Lord Sturmhond for alerting you to the presence of princes tonight, for your shock would be exponential without it.
“Why are they coming our way?” you ask.
“They have been making the rounds together,” she says. “Straighten your back.”
You do, and then you nearly collapse yet again when your eyes meet those of one prince.
Those gorgeous hazel eyes stare back at yours—you know yours are as wide as dinner plates, despite your attempts to hold back—and he gives you that same damned smile, bowing his head ever so slightly as if to acknowledge your meeting.
You met the prince.
You told the prince of all your worries.
You were kissed on the hand by the prince.
You only hear your mother saying your name when she nudges your shoulder, snapping you out of your reverie. You blink and look at her, then to the queen.
“Your Majesty,” you rush out, ducking into your best bow, “Your Highnesses. It is an honor to make your acquaintance.”
The queen greets you and your mother with your surname, and though all your attention is on her, you can still feel the prince looking at you.
“Have you met my sons, Vasily and Nikolai?” she asks.
Vasily bows politely, respectful but reserved. “A pleasure, my lady.”
You curtsy in return, and your Lord Sturmhond steps forward. You are thankful, at least, to put a name to the lying face.
“It is a pleasure to meet such a beauty,” Nikolai says. He takes your hand and bows down to press a kiss to it, and your skin burns from his touch just as it did out in the gardens. He does not let go when he straightens, instead looking to your mother. “I do not wish to end our meeting prematurely, but I would love to have this dance.”
“Of course!” your mother exclaims. “It would be her honor, Your Highness.”
Nikolai nods and smiles, looking back to you for your permission. You nod as well through your haze, and he leads you out to the dance floor. It takes a moment for you to fully come back into yourself, and it only occurs once he has laid his hands in the correct position. His feather light touch is like lightning.
“I did tell you we would meet again,” Prince Nikolai says, that sure smile on his lips yet again. Had it not been for your years of dance lessons, your weakened knees would not be enough to carry you through this waltz. “Did I not?”
“...You did,” you say. “But you did not tell me you were a prince.”
“I find it invites unnecessary pressure,” he says. “Did you not enjoy our time together?”
“...I did,” you say again, unsure of your words.
“And I am proven right in your manner,” the prince says. “You spoke so easily in the gardens, and now you seem to be putting thought into each syllable.”
“You— you are a prince,” you repeat, your still-lingering shock making you speak plainer than you intend. “Of course I am putting thought into my words.”
“You needn’t worry around me,” Nikolai says. “I am just another man in London.”
“You are a prince.”
“As we have established,” he nods, and when you let out a light huff he grins. “You have a lovely smile.”
“As do you,” you say, and you shake your head. “I cannot believe you allowed me to make a fool of myself out there.”
Nikolai frowns. “However did you make yourself a fool?”
“You allowed me to ramble!” you exclaim. “I told you of my worries, of being overwhelmed, of all my thoughts—”
“And what is the problem with that?” he asks.
“It is unseemly to complain to a prince,” you insist.
“We see our meeting quite differently, then,” he says. “For I left it with a most favorable image of you, and a wish to see you again.” He cocks his head. “Did you not leave with the same?”
“...I did,” you say after a moment.
Your conversation stalls for a moment as you part from each other, following the steps of the dance, before joining back again. His hand is sure in yours, startling but welcome warmth.
“Then I do not see the issue,” the prince says.
“You have made this night all the longer,” you intone. “Your attention makes me something of a target among the ladies of the ton.”
“Do not worry,” he says, that irritatingly pretty smile aimed at you yet again. “I believe we can get through it together.”
“Together?” you ask.
“You wished to meet again,” Nikolai says. “I plan to grant that wish several times over.”
“...I would like that,” you admit, feeling your cheeks heat under his gaze.
“And just to think,” he says, amused, “you said your meeting with a prince would be a disaster.”

Cliff notes from the latest blogpost:
BW now want to shift their marketing focus to showcasing higher level combat
"Stalwart Warrior, deft Rogue, spell-slinging Mage"
Warrior "deftly combines devastating melee with style and flair - all to inflict maximum pain on your enemies" [source]. It revolves around close range combat + defense
Skills, Traits, Runes, and Abilities are customizable to best suit different playstyles
Loadout has slots for Abilities, accessed from the Ability Wheel. Abilities are unique to each class. Customize them by spending Skill Points. The entire Skill Tree is refundable, Skill Points can be redistributed
Loadout selection before each battle is meant to be strategic
Loadout can be swapped anytime except during combat
Rook also has 3 equippable runes. These have a variety of functions e.g. control, utility, additional damage
The 3 Runes can be cycles through & activated in combat
Warrior has some Abilities that deal fire damage
Rook eventually gains access to Specializations. these grant powerful unique Abilities and a unique Ultimate Ability. Ultimates are the most powerful attack and follow the theme of that spec e.g. Champions (Grey Warden-themed spec) have Warden's Fire, which launches a devastating incendiary flurry of searing strikes that ignite enemies
Build the Ultimate Meter by doing damage to enemies. It won't fill fully during small fights as Ultimates are designed to take out lots of enemies or be used on tough bosses
Champion is the best "Specialization Area" for killing darkspawn
Info on the 9 specs
All 3 classes can jump, dodge (at any time, even mid-attack), light attack & heavy attack. These can be chained together. Attacks can be triggered while sprinting and/or jumping
Light attacks do quick damage and build small amounts of stagger. Heavy attacks are slower and build more stagger to the enemy. They also remove Armor Barrier faster. Both can be charged to deliver a stronger blow by holding down a button e.g. heavy attacks can be charged while using a staff to unleash a magical wave of energy
When enough stagger is built, the enemy is more vulnerable to all incoming damage, bonus damage and Rook can perform a special Takedown. Build stagger by landing hits on an enemy
Each class has ranged attacks, blocks, and parries (if timed properly with the right weapon). Ranged attacks remove Shield Barrier faster
Each class has 2 distinct weapon sets. You can swap seamlessly between these during battle
Yellow bar: Armor Barrier. Blue bar: Shield Barrier. Lavender bar: Stagger meter
Ability Wheel functions: pause fights, control companion Abilities, tell companions to attack specific enemies individually or together, target enemies to view enemy vulnerabilities & resistances, set up Ability Combos
Darkspawn are weak to fire
Abilities can also be bound to shortcut keys
Some Abilities apply buffs or debuffs; Area of Effect abilities help defeat large groups; there are crowd control abilities; some Abilities have coordinating effects to serve as a Primer or Detonator for strong combo attacks executed with companions
Controlling the field of battle is important
Davrin has Heroic Strike (ability) which applies the Overwhelmed debuff to enemies, increasing their stagger and making it easier for Rook to do a Takedown
Davrin has Death from Above (ability) which sends Assan to attack enemies. this is good against distant enemies
Abilities require class Resources (Mana, Momentum, Rage) to be used. The Resource is primarily built up by dealing damage with basic attacks, and secondarily in a class-specific way: mages regain mana passively over time, rogues build momentum by dodging & parrying, warriors build rage by taking & dealing damage
Sword-and-shield build warriors can do Shield Throw Volley. if you land a heavy attack on a Shield Throw return, the shield ricochets, taking out multiple enemies. this sequence can repeat up to 3 times, causing a ring of damage around Rook. this tactic is good for swarms and distant enemies
Warriors have Grappling Spear (ability), which pulls distant enemies closer
That blogpost focused on Warrior. More to come on the other classes before launch
A separate spotlight on progression will also come before launch

Here Comes A Thought; Pt. 3
Pairing: Bang Chan x Reader
Word Count: 711
Warnings: ANGST!! But this time, we’re open to a happy ending.
A/N: I wasn’t originally going to go with this song, but pt. 3 was always going to be an SU song. It is one of my favorites though, and I felt like it fit the theme well. Also!! I’m sorry this is getting posted so much later than I meant to, I had family in town 🎉
Pt.1 Pt. 2
Here comes a thought that might alarm you/ Something you did that failed to be charming
Chris,
I got your package. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to say to you. You said that you see me, but do you truly? Do you see all the ways that you stopped showing up for us? For me? You want me to come back to you, but what is there to come back to? Waiting weeks in between texts? Waiting for your call just for you to make excuse after excuse as to why you couldn’t be reached? I don’t want to go through that again. I can’t go through that again.
All these little things seem to matter so much/ That I might lose you
Sweetheart,
You’re right. The partner that I had become is not one that you deserve. I see now that my inaction pushed you to a place where I couldn’t reach you. I lost sight of what was most important to me. I became so focused on my career that I didn’t even realize that I was taking your presence in my life for granted. I thought you would always be there, the way I thought I would always be there for you; I’m sorry that it took losing you for me to see that. Please believe me when I say I love you.
Take a moment and ask yourself/ If this is how we fall apart
Chris,
I know you love me, it never crossed my mind that you didn’t. I used to think that knowing you love me was enough to keep us together. That the distance and the time in between being together, between speaking, wouldn’t come between us. There hasn’t been a single moment since we met where I haven’t loved you. Truthfully, I don’t know that I’ll ever stop loving you. But I can’t be with you knowing that you only remember me when it’s convenient. I just can’t.
Here comes a thought that might alarm me/ Things that I said are suddenly swarming
Sweetheart,
Everywhere I look, I see you. I see you in the songs that I write. I have your handwritten notes all around my studio. Your very essence is so tightly woven into the fabric of my being. I know that I’ve broken more promises than I’ve kept, but will you let me promise you one more thing? Will you let me promise you change? Will you allow me the chance to show you that I am committed to showing up for you? You are my everything, and I swear that should you allow it, I won’t forget that again.
All these little things seem to matter so much/ That they confuse me
Chris,
I truly don’t know what was worse: being together and watching you live without me, or letting you go. How can I trust that this won’t happen again? How can I trust that something else won’t take up all your time and energy and leave nothing left for me? I knew that you wouldn’t always have time for me when you became my partner, but I didn’t realize that would turn into ‘never’. It scares me that I was so easy for you to just forget. In spite of that…I miss you. I miss the kids. I miss my other half. Let me think about it, okay?
Take a moment, remind yourself/ To take a moment and find yourself
Sweetheart,
Take the time you need. I would wait forever for you. I won’t push you, but please reach out to the kids, regardless of what you decide for us. They miss you just as much as you miss them, and they shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences of the damage I caused. I know that too much space is what lead us to this in the first place, but I don’t want crowd you while you take time to figure out what you want. I’ll be here when you’re ready. I love you, regardless of the outcome.
Take a moment and ask yourself/ If this is how we fall apart/ But it’s not, but it’s not, but it’s not
I’ve got nothing, got nothing, got nothing, got nothing to fear/

Welcome to the daily random thoughts, today we have!
What if @scythe-the-problematic-audio, @escapedaudios, @goodboyaudios and @yuurivoice were video game characters?? [moveset edition]
(Also these are just thoughts okay so don’t come after me if these sound inccurate )
\Sycthe audio/
\basic/
Crack a joke - Probably cracks jokes mid-fight, causing enemies to facepalm in frustration and lose their focus.
Fourth Wall Break - Scythe The Problematic breaks the fourth wall, causing the screen to glitch and distort. Any enemies caught by this ability have their screen obscured, making it difficult for them to see and making them more vulnerable to incoming attacks.
Duel scythes - summons a second scythe, empowering his basic attacks and granting him additional movement speed.
\super moves/ultimate/
"Death's Beckon" - beckons his enemy to come to him, then strikes them with his scythe, doing massive damage.
"Harvester" - The Reaper summons a large horde of undead creatures (idk maybe he gets aroticity to traumatize the fans and escaped), which swarm his enemy, dealing massive damage and weakening their attacks.
Ultimate Ability: "Trapped in the Void" - The Reaper summons a powerful void vortex around the arena, pulling enemies into its center. Once trapped, enemies take massive damage over time and are slowed, making it easy for the Reaper to finish them off.
\Escaped audios/
(Just guns came to mind)
\basic/
Gun Blast" - He fires a barrage of bullets in a wide arc, dealing damage to enemies caught in the attack. He would be able to move while firing but wouldn't be able to dodge during this ability.
“Smoke Bomb" - He throws a smoke bomb that obscures his foes' vision, making them less likely to land accurate shots. This ability would act as a form of area denial, as well as a way for him to set up his other moves.
"Quickdraw" - He fires a series of quick, precise shots at his opponents, dealing high damage. This ability would require good timing and precision to use effectively, but would be deadly in the hands of a skilled player.
\supermoves/Ultimate/
Bullet Hail" - He fires a barrage of bullets into the air, which then rain down on his enemies, dealing heavy damage and knocking them back.
"Tactical Flank" - He uses his guns to slide around enemies, firing at them from different angles, making it hard for them to defend against his attacks.
Ultimate: "Last Stand" - He pulls out his guns and fires a flurry of bullets at everything in his vicinity, dealing massive damage and knocking back enemies.
\Goodboyaudios/
\basic/
- He gives a strategic command, causing his enemies to become slowed or stunned, making it easier for him to take them out. This ability would have a cool down time, limiting its overuse.
"Defensive Formation" - He creates a barrier that protects his allies, deflecting incoming attacks and granting them increased defense.
"Ambush" - He sets up a trap that stuns and damages enemies who trigger it, allowing him to take them out with relative ease.
\super move/ ultimate/
Space Pirates" - He summons a fleet of space pirates that fly towards his opponents, attacking them and dealing additional damage. These pirates would have to be killed before they can attack again.
Ultimate: Zombie Rush" - He summons a horde of undead zombies to rush his enemies, dealing damage and distracting them. The zombies can only be vanquished with fire-based attacks.
\Yuurivoice/
[robot avatar? 🤷♀️]
\Basic/
Rocket Boost" - Yuuriovice's rocket-powered legs allows him to perform quick, powerful kicks at enemies. Charging the ability allows him to dash further and deal more damage.
"Repair Pulse" - Yuuriovice sends out a pulse of energy that heals him and damages any enemies nearby. The pulse can be charged to increase its healing and damage.
“Laser Beam" - Yuuriovice fires a concentrated laser beam from his eye, dealing high damage and piercing through multiple enemies. This ability has a limited duration, but can be charged for additional power.
\super moves/ultimate/
Rocket Barrage" - Yuuriovice flies into the air and unleashes a flurry of rockets onto the battlefield. Each rocket has a massive blast radius and deals high damage.
"Gravity Pulse" - Yuuriovice unleashes a powerful pulse that sends all enemies in the area flying upwards, leaving them vulnerable in the air. Then, he sends out another pulse that pulls all enemies back down, dealing additional damage upon landing.
Ultimate: "Singularity" - Yuuriovice creates a gravitational singularity that sucks all enemies into its center. The singularity grows in size and damage over time, creating a devastatingly powerful attack that can easily wipe out multiple enemies.

role swap villain!Ambrosius premise
Ambrosius villian AU starts with the same premise as the movie. Except when Amb cuts off Bal’s arm, the weapon aims into the crowd, instead of directly upward.
This changes 2 things: 1) Bal no longer has a hole to escape in and 2) a lot of the audience is now dead. Since Bal has no way to escape, the other knights quickly swarm and kill him. Amb is odiously very distraught over this. Not only did his boyfriend commit treason for seemingly no reason and he has no way to know why but Amb inadvetingly caused Bal’s death AND the death of innocent audience members. He finds himself overcome with grief and guilt, eventually unable to perform his duty as a knight. Seen as a failure, he is kicked out of the Institute.
To make matters worse, cutting off Bal’s arm is seen as the last heroic thing he ever did. Amb becomes the kingdom’s supervillain instead. He doesn’t really have much motivation left, mainly he’s looking for ways to resurrect Ballister. Thinking if he succeeds he will regain his loved one and purpose in life and they can become villains together. This mainly brings him to dark magic (bc ofc it must exist in this timeline) and drains his health and makes his mental state worse
This is also how he comes across Nimona. But while Nimona was expecting a fun supervillain, she was not expecting a depressed unbathed middle aged man with no direction in life. She basically has to take control of his plans (while still calling herself his sidekick mind you loser or not Amb has the villain brand). I would characterize Nimona as a mix of her comic and movie versions.
In helping Amb, she ends up working through her own issues too. It gets to a point where Amb is putting all his effort into resurrecting Bal. However he isn’t even sure that if resurrected, Bal would even still love the man he has become. Nimona also points out that they would basically have no future together bc Bal is still 100 percent a criminal and Amb hasn’t really improved the kingdom in all his years of villainy. Amb decides to put all his effort into exposing the Institute’s corruption (yay!) and also work himself up to a big heroic sacrifice bc that’ll totally fix all his problems (no!).
Amb eventually comes to the realization that maybe one day Bal will be resurrected one day or maybe he will never be; but Amb better not be a flaming hot mess when that happens. Unsure about the ending. I think it would be interesting if they actually do find a way to bring Ballister back and Amb initially is blinded by selfishness, but in a last minute decision he decides to bring back the audience members instead. The life granting deity decides to cut this man a break and returns Ballister too.
Meredith is probably also there somewhere twiddling around

BBED: Big Bad Evil Dudes
Hello I'm Ana and this is the third in the BBED series! Each installment is a different Homebrew BBEG of a different Challenge Rating that is as fleshed out(And hopefully cool and fun!) as I can make it. The art and statblock for each is made by me and I hope you have fun using them, either as they are or reflavouring them. Remember the lore info and stats are there to inspire you to do what you want to do, not as hard rules!
Lore: Xvarts are all servants of the demigod Raxivort. Acting as decoys for him as he is chased by servants of the demon lord Graz'zt after he stole a valuable object called the Infinity Spindle.
A Xvart Lord is a particularly favored servant of Raxivort, blessed with a powerful weapon known as a Raxivortian Blade that grants them abilities beyond a normal Xvart such as teleporting and summoning. A Xvart Lord is usually a leader of other Xvarts who worship them as high priests and even demigods.
Xvart Lords are noted as having a very notable stench, which is thought to be the reason why Rats and Bats seemingly flock to them and make nests on top of the Xvart's body. Xvart Lords are given the important task of sacrificing people to their god, which is the primary purpose of their blade. The Raxivortian Blade has the special property of transporting someone stabbed with it to Raxivorts domain in Pandemonium, in the hope that he will transform the sacrifice into a new Xvart. Gnomes are most easily transformed, so they tend to prefer sacrificing them.
Any Xvart that steals a Raxivortian Blade successfully becomes the new Xvart Lord, so Xvart Lords tend to be extremely paranoid.
Running a Xvart Lord: A Xvart Lord is still a Xvart, meaning that they will tend towards running away from a fight if it starts to look bad. This also means they will employ vast amounts of creatures to protect them.
I would recommend using a number of other Xvarts, Xvart Warlocks of Raxivort, Giant Rats, Rat Swarms and Giant Bats when planning an encounter with the Xvart Lord. I would also not say it is unrealistic for the Xvarts to have captured something like an Ogre, or to ride Worgs, but keep in mind Xvarts tend to dislike anyone larger than them.
I don't think the Xvart Lord is powerful enough to have lair actions, but in its place I made the stats for their weapon in case your players take it!
Raxivortian Blade: Uncommon Scimitar(Requires Attunement)
This short and jagged blade is embedded with crystals similar to those of Slaad Control Gems. When attuned, the wielder gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls with this weapon.
This weapon has 3 charges. It regains 1d4-1 at dawn.
This charge can be expended on a hit to cause the target creature to make a DC 14 Charisma saving throw or be banished. While banished in this way, its speed is 0, and it is incapacitated. At the end of its next turn, the target reappears in the space it vacated or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied.
Alternatively as a bonus action you can expend a charge to teleport to a location you can see within 60ft. Alternatively you can switch places with a willing creature within 60ft, or an unwilling creature if the target fails a DC 14 Charisma saving throw.
If the attuned creature is a Xvart, neither option expends a charge.

The Arimakki are baffling monsters of this world, defying understanding while also being an utter menace. They are parasites freed from the ancient corpse of a sickly god, yet further explanation continues to elude scholars and wise men. How did they wind up in the flesh of the divine? Why are there so many different kinds of them? Is there any purpose to their invasion, what do they hope to achieve? Why do they make such irritating noises? But while folk still grapple to understand this babbling plague, there is one aspect of them even more puzzling: the people who willingly join them.
The Arimakki are a blight upon this land, their Vile Red Tree spreading misery and horrid heat beneath the earth, while many fall to their mindless hordes and Feverish Sweat. They cannot be communicated with, they cannot be understood. Yet, there are a shocking amount of people who have chosen to align themselves to this boiling madness. The Koroni Netsu is a ceremony that one can undertake to truly bind themselves to these parasites, a baptism that baffles any with a sane mind. The process is agonizing, the survival rate is low, and what comes out has shed all thought and sanity. Why would anyone willingly give up their mind and humanity? Why abandon all to embrace this madness? Difficult questions to ponder, but some may look at the world lost in war and chaos, and wonder if these lost folk aren't the only ones to abandon their morals.
The priests of the Arimakki who preach their cause in nonsensical tongues are the common result of this vile baptism. However, they aren't the only things to emerge. In some cases, a trained warrior may decide to grant their blade to the Arimakki, and choose to fight at their side. The Koroni Netsu will strip them of their humanity and sanity, but it seems their life of battle still clings on. Those that emerge from the boiling rain seek sword over staff, and somehow recall skills learned in their past life. With their obnoxious laughter and twitchy movements, one would find it hard to believe that anything sane and rational survived. The Arimakki fight with flailing limbs and sheer numbers, so why would a lunatic that has given themselves to them be any different? Soldiers who have had the misfortune of facing one of these bizarre fighters will confirm that they are quite different, and very deadly.
Arimakki warriors have abandoned the armor and weapons of their past, and now shroud themselves in the pieces of their fellow parasites. Armor is made from their shell, robes from their flesh and weapons from their claws. They have given themselves to the White Worm and the Vile Red Tree, thus their body is now attuned to the sickly heat and boiling sweat. These warriors serve as protectors of the hives, watchful blades of important sections of their colony. Some have also been found in traveling swarms looking to set up another foul hive, their blades protecting their brethren in their pilgrimage. Whatever the scenario may be, many warriors dread facing one of these mad men on the battlefield.
Their fighting style is a chaotic one, fitting for the ones they serve. At first glance, one would think they uncoordinated and poorly trained, the flailing of a child holding their first sword. Yet folk are warned to not be deceived, as these actions are a part of an unhinged way of fighting, and diving in with any assumptions is a good way to be sliced in half. When lost in the melee, Arimakki warriors seem to lurch between two states: one of their past life as a trained soldier, and one of a wild animal swinging with reckless abandon. Their strikes can be nonsensical at times, their tactics foolish, but moments after dodging a useless flurry of blades one may find a precise strike gutting them. Their twitchy movements and bodily contortions make their attacks come from odd angles, and allow them to dance away from damage with unnatural luck. To a trained swordsmen, they are their worst nightmare: the combination of a master who dances with a blade, and a blind rookie whose doesn't follow the rules of battle. When one should guard, they instead attack. When one should expect a counter, they may instead follow with a crazed charge that send both sides tumbling. Their fighting style is mind and madness at the same time, a level of random chaos that can even make their own foes think they themselves have gone mad.
To make things worse, their gear drips with Feverish Sweat, and they have learned how to utilize it. Their blades can be coated in the boiling fluid, giving every injury extra burn. Some have mastered it so well that they can even unleash searing arcs of sweat from their swings, cutting through foes who thought themselves safe. This burning aura gives them an edge in close combat, as wrestling with them causes one to be exposed to their sickly heat and sweat. In some cases, an Arimakki warrior may simply latch onto a bothersome foe and let them slowly boil alive in their burning embrace. As members of this colony and monsters of madness, these fighters will do anything to win and protect their hive. Even if their weapons are lost or destroyed, they shall grab anything at hand to continue the battle. They will even fight bare handed if need be. There are too many stories of respected warriors believing themselves victorious after disarming and mortally wounding one of these freaks, only to perish in their gloating when it lunges forth and strangles them with searing gauntlets.
Thankfully, Arimakki warriors are not very common, and even if one is unlucky enough to see one, they would rarely ever see more than that in a battle. They are not subtle, and thus make themselves known early on in a fight. If one can cut them down, then they may breath easy knowing that this dangerous foe is no longer in play. However, some may not be so thrilled when they best one of these warriors. When it comes to war, many soldiers find kinship with their fellow fighters. They meet many during these horrid times, and learn much of those who fight alongside them. There is respect, loyalty, friendship, even love found out here. When one has sparred or teamed up with a fellow enough times, they know everything about them. Their moves, their motives, their woes, their joys. Such bonds are crucial in staving off the madness of war.
But sometimes, it is still too much. And sometimes, broken people seek terrible escapes. The monsters that are the Arimakki warriors were not always these maddened husks, they once had soldiers they called friends. And even in the depths of their insanity, one can see something familiar in the wielding of their blades. That particular sword strike. That way they hold their weapon. There are no comprehensible words that come from their tongues anymore, and their mask-covered faces are swollen and deformed beyond recognition. Yet, when the battle is done, and the Arimakki corpses are being burned, there are some soldiers who cannot stomach to look at the warrior they cut down. Though they bested a terrible foe, they find no joy, only sadness. They turn away in silence, and retreat from any celebrations that may come. They don't say anything, but everyone knows what they are thinking. The same torturous question many agonize over in the broken land, when looking upon the bodies of those they couldn't save: Why?

It ain't the Halloween season with a little Arimakki action!

heyya!
how would the sisters react to their s/o showing them a camera they found somewhere randomly
Hiya! This is random but fluffy!🫶 assuming this is a photo camera btw! (Except for the last hc per sister)
Let’s see! :)
Masterlist 1
Masterlist 2
Bela
She knows what it is you found, and is excited about it- they’re rather rare in the village
She’s seen pictures of it in books of modern technology- or at least modern by the standards of the Castle
Once, even, she was lucky enough to catch some prey with one on it;
It was treated like a toy between the 3 sisters, until eventually it ran out of film
Seeing you with it, she’s happy to find another one. She wants to take pictures!
Still, she jumps in surprise and accidentally swarms when you snap a picture of her
Seeing the grin on your face, she calms down and turns back to her human form, arms crossed and an eyebrow raised
If you compliment her, she will absolutely blush
Likely, this picture of her is barely worth a thing, merely a mess of flies and movement
She agrees to another, if you ask her, if only she can take one of you in return
She wants a picture of you in her dress pocket
Bela is very eager to see what you use the camera for
As far as she knows, it still needs film and has a limited amount of pictures you can take. She’s not exactly used to modern technology
If it went according to her, the pictures would mainly consist of her family and practical things
Pictures of her mother and sisters, then work. For files. To make her work easier
She will blush every time you take a picture of her or remind her you’ve got one
Bonus: if it’s a video camera, she won’t at all mind a little video of the two of you during intimate times ;) although she will make it look very fancy
Cassandra
She is familiar with a camera, having held one once when Bela brought one home
Still, she isn’t familiar with what it actually is
All she knows? She presses a button, a flashy light follows, and she sees a picture
She is very intrigued however- it’s from the outside, after all!
At first, she doesn’t notice it’s a camera you’re holding
She’s polishing her sickle, and notices you stare boldly. A smirk comes to her face, and a crackle
She giggles to herself as you keep staring her up and down like a piece of meat. She loves it
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer”, she snickers
When she hears the snap and sees the bright flash, she falls from her chair and swarms automatically. It’s a sight to see
Blushing and growling, she will eventually manifest again, demanding you delete/destroy that picture
If you insist she’s cute or ask for another in return, she will blush even more, and growl even more in return. She hates looking all blushy! How dare you cause such a reaction in her!
Still, she will grant you this only because she loves you.
When has she turned into a simp? Ah, she could ask you the same by how happy you are with the picture and how you’re practically ogling her
She immediately begs demands to have you tell her all about the camera. She’s so curious! She wishes she could see the outside world for herself sometime
Also, she will ask to use it to take cameras of her prey and victims. If you grant her this, you will find a dozen of pictures of dismembered and carved bodies
She says it’s art. Maybe it is, in a way
Bonus: if it’s a video camera, she will gladly have it set up during sex. Only so if you are the submitting one, though
Daniela
She’s giddy! She immediately wants to take a picture of the two of you!
She knows fully well what a camera is and what it does, despite only having held one once
Daniela will make silly and seductive poses for you
She’s all in for a fashion show!
Immediately she brings you to her room and digs in her closet for gowns and hats, gloves, necklaces, what not
True to her initial thought, she still views the camera is a toy to have fun with
And what better way than with a fashion show?
Aside from this, our sweet bug loves to take pictures of all that captures her attention. Which is, well, everything
Daniela is, despite what one may think, the most perceptive of the sisters. She notices things others might go over
As such, if you hand her your camera for a mere hour, you will have it returned with dozens of random pictures
Flowers
Vases
Paintings
Her sisters’s flies
Her sisters and mother
Little stains on the floor shaped like anything Daniela finds interesting
The courtyard
The gazebo in the garden
Her favourite books
Her least favourite book (this one is a selfie of her pulling a face as she holds it. It might be your favourite of the bunch)
Pictures of herself, a dozen until she figures out how to take proper selfies using her flies
She will be lucky if she still can take pictures afterwards
Bonus; if it’s a video camera, she will absolutely ask to have it set up during your intimate times. She wants it to film her get railed and ruined by you. Watching the video turns her on endlessly

Is it a swarm or a mob?
Hi! So I was meant to make a Fuuta-Muu post, right? And, well, it was meant to be on my main but like. I made this blog! I'm sure as heck gonna use it lol
Anyways, it's primarily about how they communicate, though I touch on other stuff. With that being said, thank you in advance and I hope you enjoy!
First to head the charge, yet always last in line- You guessed it, I'm starting with Fuuta! The guy that, even when trying to do a good deed, comes off as a dick, yet compared to a puppy by the author themself. Now Fuuta seems to be someone who likes communicating in a group, despite how abrasive he comes off in milgram. In that sense, Mikoto's considering Fuuta as attention seeking is spot on!
Mikoto: Hey, it’s kinda a bother having you be so angry and tense all the time. You should stop trying get everyone to pay attention to you. You’re a uni student, right? You can’t act like that once you start working properly. Futa: Huh!? Shut up. Not like I care what you say. Even though we’re in this shitty situation, you’re just chatting away, it’s stupid. Aren’t you the one who’s acting out of place here?……also the fact you give everyone nicknames is just gross. Mikoto: *sigh* It’s more stupid to be taking this all so seriously. I mean, it’s definitely just a reality TV program. There’s no way a real prison exists that’s this lax. Also, I don’t give nicknames to everyone. I don’t give them to young kids like Amane, or to the hard-to-approach types like Shidou-san. I mean, I’m not giving you one, right? Futa: ……oi, which group are you trying to say I am?
He's trying to make a social group he can fall back on, even if it's something as small as commiserating about their situation together. (The way he wants to communicate seems to moreso fall in line with how Mikoto does; granted, with more aggressiveness)
Q.01 What do friends mean to you? Futa: People who get excited about the same things as you
He's stated before that people he likes talking to are ones that can get hyped about the same things as him. This can also be seen in his behaviour in milgram; a prime example is how he interacts with Haruka.
Futa: You said you don’t play any games, right? Do you not watch league or premier either? Haruka: E-eh, I, I don’t understand, what that is…… That… uh, “leeg”? Futa: Huh!? It’s international soccer. It’s normal for guys your age to know stuff like that. What a pain… I really have nothing to talk to you about, huh. Even though we’re around the same age. Also don’t speak to me so formally. It’s gross. Haruka: Ah, e-excu-, I don’t, I uh… got it…… Futa… kun……
He's implied to have repeatedly told Haruka to be less formal with him! He's also asked about hobbies that he's already interested in, seemingly to try and use it to get closer to Haruka. There are exceptions (i.e. Yuno showing off what she does for her younger brother) but that moreso dovetails into my next point of observation.
Fuuta doesn't like to be perceived as vulnerable. Which, I think everyone has noticed because dude's an anxious wreck. Like seriously! He tries to be the group representative cause he thought Es treated Yuno badly (and if we were to give him credit, extrapolated that Haruka might not have been treated well too because it's clear that Haruka's standards aren't the highest), but is shaking like a leaf and breathing weirdly.
Futa: Haa…… haa…… Ok…… Kotoko: What’s up, Futa.……your breathing seems a bit uneven? Futa: Huh!? I’m getting ready to fight. That guard is looking down on all of us……! Kotoko: ……hmm. Is that so…… I’m looking forward to it. To seeing what your “justice” really is.
This trial he tries to barter a better verdict before breaking down and begging cause he can't take it any more! Which, given Shidou's report of injuries, I really can't blame him?
Either way, this pairs really badly with another trait that he seems to have; not really being able to join a conversation properly unless shown a clear indication that his input is wanted. A good example of this is actually Mahiru's birthday interaction with him. He only goes into talking about her birthday when she implies it's something that he should be making an active interaction with instead of reactively asking what she means.
Mahiru: Fufu, it’s a special day today. I can’t help but feel something good’s going to happen. Futa: What’s with all the muttering to yourself. It’s creepy. Mahiru: Geez, you really don’t understand, Futa-kun. You’ll never have a proper romance with that attitude! Futa: Who cares. Obviously this is because today’s your birthday. It’s just the day you happened to be born, it doesn’t mean anything. Here, I’ll give you my tomato, so just shut up and eat it. That’s your birthday present, so be grateful.
Wrapping back to something I mentioned earlier, this might be a thing that Mikoto picked up on as attention seeking.
Fuuta actually has pretty rigid thinking in terms of socializing! I'd say that was interesting but also that tracks, given that he does most of his socializing online. But he also has very firm schemas as to how people should act/socialize from their perceived roles in society (i.e. stating that he doesn't really talk to girls because he doesn't want to be involved in "girl talk"-
Q.05 What do you like in the opposite sex? Futa: Someone who can have a conversation on the same level as me. The things girls talk about are usually all boring
-and being upset with Kazui and Shidou for not being proactive about trying to escape this situation
Futa: The ones I don’t particularly like are Shido and Kazui. The old geezer duo. Even though we’re in a state of emergency here, even though they’re the oldest out of us all, they’re acting like they don’t have a care in the world. I can’t believe they’re so unreliable. They’re good for absolutely fucking nothing!
). It's simultaneously really old fashioned and a product of our time. It's honestly a frustrating aspect of his character.
Though at the same time, it's a view that makes him susceptible to indoctrination. This vulnerability has only gotten wider since the end of the first trial, with the voters' voices, Kotoko's assault and the fact that he never really had a strong sense of self to begin with. It's almost a shame I didn't write this up earlier because I have to say; with the lesson that Fuuta seems to have learned from our first vote (I never should have stuck my nose in other people's business) and this, I feel like Fuuta is in a very dangerous position mentally. Not that voting him guilty/unforgiven would have been better but. Idk this seems like something that's bad to affirm.
Second up is the queen B herself, Muu! Is that a Bee or a Belle? Hmm, I wonder~ (in all seriousness, her change from trial one to trial two feels more like a dark version of Cinderella if we're truly making fairy tale references)
Now Muu is someone who likes feeling comfortable and as such, she tends to hang out with people who allow her the freedom of opinion. That, and people who actually pay her "proper" attention.
Q.01 What do friends mean to you? Mu: People who listen properly to what I say
Oddly enough though, while she functions just fine in group environments (easily taking charge of her prior friend group) she actually seems to prefer one on one conversations?? For the most part, she seeks out people to talk to when they're by themselves or in a small group. This can be seen within the portal timeline, key examples being this conversation implying she went to Haruka's door in order to converse with him as soon as possible,
Mu: Haruka-kun, are you awake……? Happy birthday. Haruka: M-Mu-san? I… I-I’m awake…… Th-thank you, very much. I’m… glad…… Mu: ………… Shall we talk? You know, recently I’ve been pretty interested in you. Haruka: ……!! I-in me…? Hehe, hehehe…… interested, in me.
this conversation implying that Muu actively sought Yuno out in order to get birthday wishes from her,
Mu: Yuno. Don’t you have something to say to me? Yuno: Huh? To you? Me? ……ahh, uh? Your birthday, right? Happy birthday~ Mu: How mean… Since it’s my birthday, I really wish you’d said something before I had to come and tell you myself. Yuno: Right, right, I’m sorry. I’ll be more careful in future~ Later! Haha… things have become even more of a bother………so was that Mu-chan’s real personality, then? It’s probably because the guard did something, right?
this conversation emphasising her desire for someone's complete attention when she has it,
Mu: What’s wrong, Haruka-kun? Did something happen? You shouldn’t look away like that when you’re together with me. Haruka: Ah, s-sorry, Mu-san. Um…… No, it’s nothing. I just, suddenly got a feeling. That something is about to happen. Mu: Isn’t that because it’s your birthday? Or perhaps it’s a sign the guard is about to wake up again soon? Fufufu, I bet they’ll be really surprised at a lot of things. Haruka: That, might be true. But, I want the the guard to see.……the new me…….
and this.
Mu: Hey~~~ Isn’t everyone a bit gloomy lately? I get that this situation isn’t ideal, but you’re really bringing down the mood for my birthday. Yuno: Haha, surely even you can tell now’s not really the time for something like that, right. Nobody’s really in the mood, or rather nobody has time time to deal with something like that. Mu: Boo, how boring. You seem to be free, you can celebrate for me. Go on, celebrate. Yuno: Wow, what a pain. I’m reading the atmosphere properly and keeping quiet. Well, you just go and have fun with Haruka. In the corner somewhere so you’re out of everyone’s way.
There's something to be said about that trait shown within the portal timeline + the shrinking of her group shown in INMF. This feeds back into her wanting people to pay attention to her, though I think it's also a way to pay back that attention in kind, which feeds into my next point.
Muu is a very eye for an eye person. Granted, it seems to be perceived slights as opposed to objective ones. This can feed into one of her more negative traits, that being she can overly exaggerate the hurt in her own experiences (side note, this is likely why that one line was translated as "I am always the drama queen").
Not to say that the hurt she feels isn't, by any means, real, but it can leads to situations where she retaliates in a manner that's far more harsh than what happened to her. Literally a prime example of this is her murder! Like I'm sorry, but murder is not a reasonable response to bullying, much less being ignored. However, this can also go the other way around. Treat her nicely and she's going to treat you well.
This type of attitude is likely why she had such a dismissive reaction to one of her friends thanking her for the lipstick in the After Pain group chat. To use an adage, one good turn deserves another. She gave her friend the lipstick and her friend thanked her (even if indirectly, by complimenting the lipstick). Thus, in her view, it was paid back in kind.
Another, more recent, example of this is her interactions with Haruka. Giving him a makeover, lavishing him with her attention and bringing him food as the guilty verdict sets in for both of them, she has been giving him kind acts. One could argue that she feels that Haruka has been returning this by thanking her and contemplating how best to carry out his vow regarding her verdict (in other words, a continued promise to follow through on his actions when it comes to it- which we know is when and not if, since we know the verdicts).
However, if you want to take a kinder interpretation, she recognizes that Haruka isn't in the mental position to do that. This would be why, on her birthday, she's so insistent about what she's doing being a great thing to Fuuta of all people. Basically, that tightrope between wanting to seek validation but wanting a kind deed to be a kind deed.
However, like Fuuta, Muu also has a very shaky sense of self. Or rather, in her case, a shaky esteem. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she had RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria).
She's someone that looks to see other people's reactions before making a move herself, if subconsciously. And it's very clear that she half expected to be voted guilty and tried to overcompensate for that in INMF. That expectation with the hope/want of getting external validation sure did make a horrifying concoction...
Honestly, her verdict is going to be very touch and go for her. It could turn out well in the end, but there's such a high risk in terms of her mental health (+physical, depending on how the votes go) that it's... Worrying. And Haruka's vow, while providing a sense of comfort currently, is likely going to be detrimental in the long run. For both of them.
Overall, they're two (very) dumb kids that screwed up, and they both justify their actions to themselves in different ways. Fuuta falls back on a sense of justice and the fact that he wasn't the only one involved in his sins. Muu focuses on her pain and the idea that the only person that can truly judge a person is the one in the situation. However-
-they both clearly took things too far, and they know it. Regardless of how they behave, I get the feeling they do regret the results of their actions.
#Milgram#Fuuta Kajiyama#Muu Kusunoki#thoughts#this is really long (for my posts) so if you get through this I applaud you#sure some of it is pics but still#tbh this summed up is 'Fuuta and Muu are two different flavours of neurodivergent and it shows'#I feel I need to say this for clarity but I'm not trying to be too biased#though that's just human nature so like bias will exist regardless#This post was started mid Muu's trial orz

I THE MAGICIAN
The Magician card is a reminder that you are unique and have many gifts. These skills set you apart from the crowd and can help you begin new projects or overcome adversity. When The Magician comes up in your Tarot reading, it's a reminder that you already hold everything you need to move forward and accomplish what you've set out to do.
Witness Aries is unique among the vessels for being the definition of why it is a bad idea to turn a witness into a Crown Vessel. During their time as a vessel, they were obscenely powerful. There isn't a more deadly vessel than him, even considering that Leoda killed the Bishops.
He is a towering ram, rivaling in size with mortal Leshy, and just as stacked. His thick coat of wool hides how defined his muscles are, and his coiled horns are a sight to behold, so long as they aren't coming straight at you (more specifically, at your skull). He has feline like clawed hands instead of three hoof fingered ones that sheep folk have.
Witness Aries used to be Narinder's witness before the betrayal, when sheep were plentiful. He fought alone the forces of the other Bishops to buy time for the cult to flee, managing to save them at the cost of his life, though not without taking a significant number of enemies with him.
Upon reaching the land of the dead, he is greeted by a wounded and bound Narinder, pleading for the mercy of his siblings, a mercy that were never to come, or even be heard.
Seeing his god like this would not stand for the witness of Death. Despite how the land of the dead numbs the souls into nothing, Witness Aries' sheer devotion allowed him to persist and approach the chained god, asking to be made a vessel of revenge. Narinder granted him the Red Crown.
For the next two centuries, Witness Aries lead the cult of Death and fought the other cults, being known as the undying calamity by the followers of the other crowns, such was the amount of deaths he caused directly, even killing most of the other cult's disciples, a feat only matched much later by Leoda. He wasn't able to fall any witnesses, however, more so because the Bishops hid them as a backup plan.
At the end of his tenure as a vessel, he relinquished the crown to once again sacrifice himself to protect his cult, as Shamura finally started recovering from their wounds and the Old Faith's forces were closing in on the cult grounds.
He was last seen being swarmed by enemy cultists on that day, before disappearing from history, presumed dead, though Narinder never saw him return to the land of the dead after that day.
Witness Aries' favored weapon is the claws... Well, it's no weapon at all, really, but claws are a close second. That's because his whole body can be considered a weapon. His signature move was grabbing a cultist by their shoulders and caving their skull in with a headbutt, after all. His fleece was the closest to the canon one for the Lamb.
He is also elected the vessel more likely to go on a crusade naked, to the horror of his enemies and delight of most ewes (and even some other rams. I mean, he is what peak sheep folk looks like, dammit).
Also, it's technically true that only three vessels figured out Narinder's true nature because Witness Aries already knew about the clingier side of his god before becoming a vessel, so he is the honorary forth member of this club.

Jack Builds Spaceboats: The Rally Vincent, Part 3: All of the Torpedoes for Everyone Forever
Disclaimer: I am not an expert on this game, and some information I present may be erroneous.
So let's talk about how i took my beloved Akira-class USS Rally Vincent, and make Star Trek Online's engine cry by having to render too many objects at once via torpedo spam.
If you recall Part 3 of the USS Martinet's build, a lot of this is going to seem very familiar because this is the build the Martinet is extrapolated from.
Up front she rocks a single phaser beam array, three crafted photon torpedo launchers with the [Spr] modifier (as explained in the Martinet's build), and a Maelstrom Quantum Torpedo Launcher, with two [Spr] photons and a Mael in the back. I'll discuss the Maels in a bit.
The DECS are similar to the Martinet as well; Colony deflector, Adapted MACO impulse and shields. The Warp Core is an Elite Fleet Plasma-Integrated core, with admittedly not much of note to it.
Upgraded to Tier 6-X2, this gives her two universal console slots, which are filled with the Hangar Craft Power Transmission advanced consoles mentioned in I think Part 2. The Engineering console slots are also filled with them, for a total of seven. Each of these boosts the ship's pets' weapons power (which boosts energy weapon damage) and torpedo damage, as well as boosting the Rally Vincent's torpedo damage.
For the two science console slots, we have a Swarmer Matrix console which boosts pet speed and damage as well as the Rally Vincent's torpedo damage, while also providing a clicky that summons a drone swarm. The other slot is an Ominous Device, which grants the Rally Vincent +20% to all damage, and a clicky that I tend to forget exists.
The five tactical console slots mostly contain toys that also boost torpedo damage. Lorca's Custom Fire Controls, which I covered with the Hyperion's build, is a staple. Next is the Torpedo Point-Defense System, which grants a clicky that fires six torpedoes at up to eight nearby targets, which is just beautiful to watch. She also has the Covert Warhead Module for reasons discussed in the Martinet's Build (that is, reduced global torpedo cooldown). She is also equipped with the Tricobalt Tear Launcher, which is a neat little long-range clicky that deals a lot of damage as well as dropping an AOE DOT and providing a passive boost to torpedo damage. Lastly, there's the Multi-Directional Artillery Barrage which is similar to the Torpedo Point-Defense System.
The Rally Vincent's single hangar bay is equipped with an Elite Valkyrie Fighter Squadron, which allows her to launch up to six squadrons of Valkyrie fighters. Valks are fun, because they're the first pets (that I'm aware of) to be more torpedo-focused than energy-weapon focused; each squadron has access to Torpedo: Spread III and Torpedo: High-Yield III.
Now let's talk about the Maelstroms. Maelstrom Quantum Torpedo Launchers behave differently to other torpedo launchers in STO. You really don't want to keep them on autofire; they hold three charges, and regenerate a charge every 25 seconds. Maels have a much higher base damage than other torpedoes, and each charge multiplies their damage. So if you combine Maels with, say, Torpedo: Spread III, it is entirely possible to relegate an entire wave of enemy warships to the past tense.
They're fun.
On to the Bridge Officer abilities!
The Rally Vincent sports two Tactical seats, one at Lieutenant Commander and one Ensign. The Ensign rank is slotted with Kemocite-laced Weaponry, which has a chance to make each attack with an energy weapon cause an AOE radiation explosion on the target - which is guaranteed to happen on torpedo attacks. The LtC seat has Tactical Team I for reasons explained in the Hyperion series, BFAW II, and Torpedo: Spread III.
The Lieutenant-rank universal seat is occupied by a science officer, granting us Science Team I and Hazard Emitters II for science cleanse and minor shield heal, and hazard cleanse and hull HOT respectively.
Then we have a hybrid Science/Miracle Worker seat. This is slotted with Align Shield Frequencies I (which grants an AOE shield heal and shield resistance buff), Photonic Officer II (combined with Boimler, as explained in Hyperion Part 2 for cooldown management), and Mixed Armaments Synergy II. When you activate MAS, for ten seconds, firing a Beam, Cannon, Mine, or Torpedo weapon will boost the other types by 40%. Having both beams and torpedoes on the build, activating MAS means both get boosted by 40%.
Lastly, we have a Commander-level hybrid Engineering/Command seat. First up on that is Deploy Construction Shuttle Wing, which grants us a hull HOT with the caveat that the things giving us the HOT might explode. Next is Engineering Team II for the Engi cleanse and hull heal. Then, we have the beloved Concentrate Firepower III. CF marks your targeting enemy, making them take 20% extra shield-bypassing damage from torpedoes, and every 2 seconds a player and a pet attacking the target get a free activation of Torpedo: High Yield I that also resets their torpedo cooldowns.
Now, the traits. Of course we have Ceaseless Momentum (covered in Part 2 of the Martinet series), to further shore up torpedo cooldown times.
Next the ship has Entwined Tactical Matrices. What this trait does is every time I activate any rank of Beams: Fire At Will or Cannons: Scatter Volley, I am granted a free Torpedo: Spread I activation. And any time I activate any rank of Torpedo: Spread, I am granted a free activation of Beams: Fire At Will I and Cannons: Scatter Volley I. Normally this is used to extend the uptime of BFAW, here it's used to spam Torpedo: Spread.
The next trait I have equipped is Piercing Projectiles. This is straightforward enough; activating any torpedo-enhancing ability (such as Spread or High Yield) grants 15 seconds of enhanced shield and armor penetration for my torpedoes.
Next is Angle On The Bow, which again grants stacking shield penetration and damage when I deal damage with a torpedo.
Now, for the three traits that really crank up what the Rally Vincent can do.
First is Repurposed Cargo bay Hanger. This trait allows the Rally Vincent to launch an additional Advanced Valkyrie Fighter Squadron every time she launches a pet, up to six times. This functionally gives the Rally Vincent a second hangar bay, doubling the amount of fighters she launches (and thus their damage, even if they are only Advanced and not Elite).
Remember the trait Superior Area Denial from the USS Hyperion series? That's here too, granting BFAW and CSV to all my pets every time I activated BFAW or CSV, and debuffing enemies I hit.
Next, we have Target That Explosion. When I activate a torpedo or Command bridge officer ability, it causes my next torpedo hit to grant up to six nearby allies (including pets) a free torpedo attack on the target. It's beautiful.
Lastly, we have Torpedo Command & Control, the trait from this ship. Whenever I use a Command BOFF ability, my pets' torpedo attack grant a stacking kinetic resistance debuff for two minutes. Additionally, whenever I use a Miracle Worker BOFF ability, it causes my own torpedo attacks to do the same. Remember how the BOFF seating had both Miracle Worker and Commander? haha, yeah.
So there she is, a breakdown of my much-cherished Akira-class torpedo-spamming cruiser-carrier, the USS Rally Vincent. I love to her pieces, and she's an absolute beast of a ship.

1: What "fictional place" would the duo act out when they play? Like medieval times with wizards & dragons, modern secret spy place (metal gear solid) or outer space defeating aliens. Etc
2: When playing cowboys (stand off), who gets shot first? Or since they are Star Wars fans, who's Han Solo & who's greedo? XD
3: What type of story and/or map(s) would you create for the duo, Jon & mar'i, in a COD zombie type game?
4: Who would be "uno" in a game of uno between the duo, mar'i, and the supersons?
5: You know how there is versus matches between popular characters for plot reasons (Batman vs Superman, Godzilla vs Kong etc) how would the duo get into a fight? Maybe mind control?
I would like to say thanks for answering my amazing questions for the past 9 months (wow, been that long). Really glad to see your universe improved (especially Chris and Jake)
For now, I’m going to stop (don’t worry I’m still around to chat and tag you in stuff XD) cause
1: kinda hard to ask what type of questions to say and remembering if I asked a question already
2: we kinda do chat about stuff almost everyday
Until I figure out more, see you later buddy! (Flies away on nimbus from dragon ball XD)
💙💜💙
Sorry if it took a long time to get this my friend @pin-crusher2000 but after much looking over and consideration, here shall be my answers ;-)
1) Oh too easy; either ancient Kryptonian and Tamaranean warriors from their history, fighting against their numerous enemies whether it be the Gordanians played by their plushies or even each other as a fair duel, so basically Space warriors OR As a Royal Prince and his Bodyguard Knight against demons and enemy knights like in a fantasy world akin to D&D
2) Chris = Han Solo
Jake = Greedo
and yes Han Blasts Greedo First
3) Okay So, the Kents and Graysons would find themselves waking up in a corrupted and twisted version of Bludhaven, swarming with hordes of the red eyed Undead, hellhounds, Demoniac Bats, and even Three Headed Canines (functionally the latter two are akin to the Parasites and Margwas). They have their superpowers albeit severely dampened and diminished to which they can only take down at most the zombies at the same time before they need to strike again.
The basic story is that before being sent here, the four were tipped on what was a summoning ritual by some cultists who were trying to summon Trigon, likely led by Brother Blood and while they prevent Trigon himself from coming out, the spell was corrupted and activated anyways so now it’s up to our heroes to gathered enough of their strength and find the source of these demonic Zombies in order to escape this Hell. Guiding them though would be one young voice; a girl who sounds no older than Mar’i but intelligent and willing to help them as they traverse this hellish city in exchange for also helping her, wherever she may be. This ancient evil beyond their imagination summoned by those cultists and their sins was invited and she concludes there’s far more to them than this…how their very world maybe even their multiverse itself is now in danger and they can stop it with her…..her name is Samantha, she’s going to tell them how all of this really began.
While not exactly Wonder Weapons in the traditionally sense, the Mystery Box would grant our heroes gauntlets, capes, headbands like what Chris and Mar’i wear and other accessories which do grant them enhanced powers that function like them. One gauntlet Jake can equip on his gloves can cause a chain reaction electric shock to the Zombies he punches a la the Wunderwaffe DG2. The map itself while a sprawling city with a central hub in the City Square with branching areas including the Dockyards, Downtown, the Suburbs, Bludhaven Stadium and the Pack A Punch location being Titans Tower, has numerous Kino/Der Riese style walkways, barriers and corridors allowing players to vary their play styles whether it be camping, training or going with the flow.
So yeah basically a combination of Mob of the Dead, Shadows of Evil and Maur der Toten with a tiny pinch of Origins
I shall dub this Map;
Jugend der Untoten (Youth of the Undead)
4) Mar’i; she trounces all of the boys without any fail but doesn’t cheat. Her secret is to always get rid of her cards that have the lowest number first
5) hmmm……
Christopher Kent, Nightwing Phantom VS Son Gohan
Jakand’r, Jacob Grayson, Skybird VS Bailey Briggs, The Amazing Spider Boy*
Oh I say maybe Inter-dimensional Tournament which puts their respective worlds at risk of destruction should they lose. Naturally all these combatants would ally to overturn the rules and save their worlds together as a team
(Yes he’s a real character ;-) )
Thanks for the asks again Buddy
💙💜💙

Light will prevail, and the darkness expire
"So...this is the fear and despair that Aqua feels..."
Angel Tide - "Dark" World
Poor Aqua has fallen for Brotholomous's offer to defeat "Darkness" once and for all and turned into a horrifying monster of pure light. Unlike the Demon Tide, this swirling vortex of enraged Aquas are much more aggressive, though they seem to only go after Xavier. Try to use this against her and free her from Brotholomous's control!
Story
During the events of "Fractured Paragraph", Aqua has once again separated from her dearest friends, Terra and Ventus. She soon is accosted by "figures from the dark", awaiting their revenge for her escaping the dark world. Suddenly, she is "saved" by a mysterious man, claiming to be one of the Lost Masters. Really, it was the nefarious Brotholomous of the Light Order. He showed her the true power of light to defeat the darkness and return to her friends.
Brotholomous took Aqua under his wing to imbue her with his world-shattering powers. He also occasionally accosted her, without her knowing, with her lonely memories of being trapped in the dark realm, hoping the psychological scarring would motivate her into being the Order's weapon. Brotholomous even granted her "command" of some factions of the Comestible army to rage war on "darkness" and the resurrected Xehanort-Prime(whom the Comestibles also brought back).
Xavier, Data Sora, and the gang finally encountered Aqua in one of the worlds, where they would be surprised that she was "commanding" the evil baked goods. Still not knowing the Light Order's true intentions, she explained how she was granted unlimited light to finally defeat the darkness.
Shocked by this revelation, Terra and Ventus tried to convince her she is one the wrong side, but Brotholomous told her that her friends were being controlled by the darkness, then made her envision her beloved friends as their corrupted versions, Terra-Xehanort and Vanitas-Ventus. Aqua lashed out at the twisted shells she saw. Convinced that "darkness" has taken her friends once again, she then turns her attention to the fake Realm of Darkness and rampages through her shadow prison, with Xavier, Terra, Ven, and King Mickey in pursuit.
Once arriving in the illusionary Dark World, they are surprised to see the home of the Heartless engulfed in white hot flames. The gang battle their way through the realm, now swarming with Comestibles and light tendrils from Brotholomous. They finally reached Aqua, now taken the form of the wave of broken Aquas she saw back at the Keyblade Graveyard, this time in the form of bright light. Aqua accuses them of betraying her once again by siding with Xavier, the child of darkness. Her rages is stronger against Terra for fallign into darkness, causing Master Eraqus to perish, and once again berates Mickey for abandoning her. Xavier isn't having any of this and calls her out for being just as bad as Xehanort by siding with the comestibles and they proceed to fight.
The gang finally free her from Brotholomous's grasp and she seen the error of her ways, seeing that she would just be as miserable in a world of light because her friends wouldn't be there. All Aqua had on her mind was fear of the darkness and a desire for power. Though she is still a little conflicted. Brotholomous may have lost Aqua, but still is confident that the confusion of darkness not being evil with draw her back to the Order's side.

Please check out the demo too when it releases!
■ About the Game
Play as Shin, a Demon Hunter who has lost his memories and is now exploring the world together with his sword—the transformed Lumina demon Lux—recollecting memories about yourself, your missing wife, and skills you’ve forgotten. Each time you recollect a lost skill, Lux changes form according to the will of her wielder, making Shin stronger and granting access to more areas of the world.
The Story
The Story
The game takes place in the near future, where warped monsters and ghouls have appeared from nowhere, swarming cities and forcing humans to battle against these creatures they’ve termed “demons” in an all-out Demon War. After 30 merciless years of war, the surviving humans have banded together under the Missa Association, a religious group formed by a leader who knows the secret to fighting the demons. Cities and civilizations continue to thrive despite the now regular sightings of bizarre monsters. Three years ago, a man known as Shin was rescued from among the rubble in a cryopreserved state. With no recollection of his past, he quickly becomes one of the association’s best warriors and protectors. However, when Shin comes across the brilliantly beautiful demon named Lux, she feels strangely familiar. This sensation of deja vu leads him to take her in, even if it means going against the creeds of the association. From that very instant, the past begins to slowly unfold, revealing the events that caused the city to take on its current form…
