Saffron City man Found Dead in Silph Co. Office

Saffron City police recieved an early morning call, Tuesday morning, following the discovery of a man found catatonic in his Silph Co. Office. Grant Emmerson, 35, was pronounced dead later that evening. Despite some signs of physical trauma, there were no indications that a struggle had taken place in the room, nor that this was caused by a Medical Emergency. Top medical specialists at Saffron City General Hospital are looking into this case to try and get a clearer picture of just what went wrong.

Grant Emmerson was a long time employee of Silph Co. with a focus in Public Relations. He began his career in the Silph department of Glitch Pokemon Research and published several studies on a phenomenon known as the ZZaZZ effect. He is survived by his sister, Mira Ramone-Emmerson and his niece and nephew, Emma and Maxwell Ramone.

So in relation to last night.

I am fine. �aver is fine. Somehow all of this has worked itself out in the end, but I feel I must still explain some of what transpired. I cannot relate everything here, but, on that note, while the experience was a harrowing one, combing back through the footage, I believe there is now definitive proof that �aver DID NOT release that 3TrainerPoke$ into Celedon City and was framed for the crime.

Not only that. I also have proof that I believe points to Team Enigma, and particularly their current admin, Grant Emmerson, as the perpetrator of the crime.

Allow me to explain. Last we knew these were the facts behind the 3TP case:

The 3TP released into Celedon City was registered to a trainer. It was given an Everstone to prevent stabilization so that it could create as much chaos as possible.

The trainer the 3TP was registered to appeared to be �aver, researcher who I know personally had no access to such a pokemon, nor did he have a way to release the Pokemon in Kanto, by virtue of being in Hoenn, staying with me, at the time of its release.

Team Enigma denied any involvement in this event, in spite of the conspicuous location of their HQ being only a single route away from Celedon City.

Team Enigma has been heavily involved in attempting to maintain that Glitch City is to blame for the attack, in spite of there being little evidence of a motive, and no evidence of wrongdoing by anyone they claimed to be involved.

Now. That is what we DID know. But here is what we have learned in the past 24 hours:

Team Enigma has been mobilizing units of Grunts across the region of Kanto. These units are being instructed to kidnap people, and also to steal pokemon, as can be seen here.

Team Enigma has also in their most recent video upload proved that they are using an anomaly to transmute matter. This includes transmutation of an item into a different Item, AND of a Pokemon to a different Pokemon.

Team Enigma HAS a motive to do this. They have been trying for ages to prove that Glitch Pokemon are a danger to society. The backlash from this event has done nothing but give them exactly what they want.

To this day �aver's pokemon, Lullaby, has not been found in spite of it being a very conspicuous and very well trained pokemon.

What I propose has happened here is simple. Team Enigma's plan from the start was to kidnap a trainer from Glitch City and blame them for a Glitch Pokemon related disaster. He used a matter transmutation anomaly that we now know he is capable of performing to change �aver's kidnapped Pokemon, Lullaby, from an ▶ A into a 3TrainerPoke$. Which explains why there was no flag marked on his Pokedex, and why the system did not mark him as having caught one. He then released the pokemon into Celedon City and allowed it to rampage, and then allowed �aver and Glitch City to take the fall for the attack.

This is not a perfect account of this event. There may be gaps. But this is the closest we have come to having a full picture of what has taken place. Team Enigma's side of the story is that a completely harmless trainer who is in charge of taking care of newly hatched starters and has never raised a pokemon past that of a second level Gym leader, somehow managed to catch one of the most dangerous Pokemon in the region, circumventing all systems that might have flagged him for doing so, and somehow also managed to covertly place that Pokemon in Celedon City while he was TWO REGION'S WORTH OF DISTANCE AWAY in LILYCOVE CITY.

I think we have a decent picture of what's going on here. You're being lied to. And I'm going to make this as public as I can so that we can stop blaming an innocent man for a crime he didn't commit. And turning our backs on a much greater threat that is growing right underneath us.

Zimbabwe has a long history of political corruption and violence, this is nothing new. The current leader Emmerson Mnangagwa came to power in a coup, and previous to this is known to have orchestrated violence against political opposition on behalf of the former leader Robert Mugabe. The Citizens Coalition for Change (officially formed one year ago) has also been the victim of government sponsored violence including banning of CCC rallies, beating of supporters by the police and arresting of party leaders.

I looked into the lithium ban as well and it does not apply to the Chinese firms that dominate Zimbabwe's lithium mining and export industries. (Zimbabwe over the last two decades has drifted into the Chinese sphere of influence rather than the USA's or "the west"). In addition, the Minister of Mines and Mining development has the power to grant exemptions to any miner or exporter if there are "exceptional circumstances". In effect, this is a ban on small operators and illegal operations.

Just because a narrative looks good doesn't mean that it is true. It's important to look at the details.

Thoughts about Saw

I think part of the reason why the first three Saw movies work so well (and arguably 4 as well but eh) is because unlike most horror films, John Kramer EXPECTS his victims to escape their traps, because his overarching plan involves that escape. He WANTS more disciples, and he has to plan around who can be manipulated and who cannot. That's why John's eventual death in Saw 3 hits slightly harder, because he was WRONG. He isnt beaten because his opponent was physically stronger (although the circular saw helped), he gets beaten because he underestimated Hoffman.

That's part of why I think Spiral is such a good addition to the series. From 4 onwards, the traps don't have that same expectation of success, they are basically elaborate murder machines. Even in Jigsaw, which I think is on par with 4, Logan uses the Barn Game to kill his corrupt superior.

But in Spiral, Emmerson wants Banks to succeed - he wants him as an ally to root out corrupt cops. Granted, he still uses the games as a way to kill, but the OVERALL game is dependent on Banks finding him.

News from southern Africa, 3 July.

Cenored, a regional electricity distributor in Namibia, is increasing its electricity rates by 7.6% from July.

This increase follows a 9% tariff hike by the national power utility, NamPower.

The Electricity Control Board granted Cenored an average tariff increase of 7.6% and 7.3% for the Cenored Okahandja joint venture.

2. Botswana and De Beers have agreed on a new diamond sales deal that gradually increases Botswana's share of rough stones to 50% over the next decade.

The agreement includes a 10-year sales deal for Debswana's rough diamond production and a 25-year mining license.

De Beers will contribute $75 million towards a diamond fund and increase its investment over the next 10 years to benefit the Botswana economy.

3. President Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe has accused businesses of creating artificial shortages of basic food commodities amid an inflation crisis.

The government had previously lifted restrictions on the importation of basic goods, but prices have continued to rise and products are disappearing from shop shelves.

Zimbabwe is experiencing high food inflation rates and a weakening currency, making it difficult for many citizens to afford basic food items.

Zimbabwe accused of freeing 'dangerous rapists' in amnesty

Zimbabwe's main opposition coalition, the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), has claimed that some of the more than 4,000 prisoners released on presidential amnesty last week include child rapists. President Emmerson Mnangagwa pardoned the prisoners drawn from the country’s 47 prisons in an attempt to decongest the overcrowded jails. Prison authorities had, however, said rape was among offences excluded from the amnesty. However, viral videos showed what local media said were rapists celebrating their freedom with some who are said to have served less than a year of their term. The CCC in a statement on Wednesday said it was "grossly irrational to release dangerous, unrehabilitated offenders back into society" before informing or preparing rape victims. “Unleashing an unrehabilitated rapist who has not served his sentence back into his community unchecked and with no safeguards to protect victims endangers women and girls and can never be reasonably justifiable in a democratic society,” CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere said. Some Zimbabweans on social media have also demanded that the decision be reversed as it puts women in danger. Prominent investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono said amnesty "is never granted to rapists or people who have committed violent crimes". Mr Chin’ono, a government critic, said Zimbabwean women were not safe following the pardon. Zimbabwean authorities are yet to comment on the claims. Read the full article

[A VIDEO IS UPLOADED OF A NEWS BROADCAST AIRED ON 7/3/23 AT 12:30PM

The news segment begins, lingering on yet another shot of Celedon city. Already there is much more damage to the city than before. Smoke can be seen billowing from at least one building. Sirens and alarms are starting to sound, and where there isn't rubble, an uncanny flickering, striped vein of corruption has snaked its way through the center of the streets.

Reporter- We are back here on the scene, live, as this mystery pokemon continues its rampage throughout Celedon city. All streets have been closed and evacuation efforts have already begun with the help of a few good samaritans.

There is a cut shot of a brown haired teenaged pokemon Trainer in action, helping to pull a few survivors from the rubble of a building that seems to have collapsed in the wake of the chaos. It is recognizable as Mare Birch, a local Hoennian hero. She is carrying one victim on her back while leading another out of town towards one of the evacuation units.

Reporter- Joining me now, as we report here from Celedon City, is Dr. Grant Emmerson from Silph Co.'s department of Glitch Research. Thanks for joining us, Dr. Grant. Can you explain to us what we're seeing here.

Grant's voice can be heard on a voice call from over the phone. A photo of him appears at the bottom of the screen. He is a well kept looking, bearded man with a serious expression on his face.

Grant- Thank you. Yes, this Pokemon that you are seeing is a very dangerous Glitch Pokemon known as a 3TrainerPoke$. Compared to the pokemon we know here in Kanto it would be considered among the most deadly. While slow, both its physical and special prowess are unparalleled. Even Kanto's legendary birds would be powerless against it.

Reporter- A Three- Trainer Poke? And what can you tell viewers at home about how to stay safe from a pokemon like this. What can we expect from a Pokemon like this?

Grant- It is incredibly dangerous to be around, and almost impossible to stop. It's movements are unpredictable. You can treat it more like a natural disaster than a Pokemon. And unfortunately, it is not a one of a kind creature the way that most Legendaries are. The region that this pokemon comes from is crawling with destructive Pokemon just like this one.

Reporter- And what region DOES this pokemon come from?

Grant- This pokemon, and all Glitch pokemon like it, come from the region of Glitch City. It is a place where pokemon like this are allowed to roam freely. And it's citizens foolishly allow themselves to grow close to them. That is likely the entire reason you are seeing a pokemon like this loose in Kanto today.

Reporter- So, a Glitch Region, a destructive Glitch Pokemon, and you're saying there are more of these out there.

Grant- Countless. There are twenty foot tall pokemon out there that are as common as Pidgey are here. Many would have you believe these pokemon are harmless, but I think after today, it would be a good idea to be a little more careful.

“ROAD WORK FOR THE UNEMPLOYED,” Brantford Expositor. March 28, 1930. Page 2. --- Heavy Program Is Scheduled for Tillsonburg and District ---- TILSONBURG, March 28 - Tillsonburg is going to be the centre of a large amount of road work this summer scheduled to start early in April to relieve local unemployment. The County Council has passed grant of $24,700 for local work inside the town limits and by far the largest amount in several past years. Twenty-two thousand dollars will be spent on a concrete road on Tillson avenue to the Michigan. Central connecting with the County Road to Norwich on which $4360 will also be spent for resurfacing. Vienna Hill to the Wabash station will receive improvements up to $2700.

County Magistrate Patterson of Ingersoll presided over the usual court here Thursday morning at 11 a.m. with a very light docket on hand. George Pressey of Aylmer, Ont., was charged with an infraction of the Motor Vehicles Act by Traffic Officer Emmerson Spence for overloading his truck and was assessed the minimum fine of $10 and costs. The offence occurred on Highway No. 3. Under the Master and Servant Act Henry Childs of Dereham was ordered to pay James Wm. Barker of the same township the sum of $26.75 in back wages as well as the costs of the court.

Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 177 held a very delightful at home in the lodge rooms last evening and despite very stormy weather there was a splendid attendance from town and district. Progressive euchre was enjoyed the first part of the evening with the following prize winners: Ladies' first, Mrs. Stanley Wood, second, Mrs. Elwood Service: men's first, J. H. Smith, second. Thomas Burn. A dainty lunch was served following the cards, after which dancing was enjoyed in the banquet hall till the early hours of the morning.

The executive of the Tillsonburg Baseball nine was rewarded with a large attendance at the benefit dance in Brown's hall Wednesday evening. The hall and orchestra were generously donated for the occasion and the proceeds will be used towards the purchase of new uniforms. 

The disagreeable weather of the past two weeks is no doubt responsible for the large number of heavy colds and light cases of 'flu' in town and district.
