Ok, another update. I have made it much further and now almost my entire team is mega level, with the exception of taomon(cause I dont like any of the things it evolves into more than it), and I now have a grandlocomon which means I can beat the s#it out of things with a train. And I am up to the area where you are tracking down crusadermon. And can I just F*#K THAT GUY IN PARTICULAR. But my current team is grandlocomon, slayerdramon, brakedramon, plesiomon, bancholeomon, blackwargreymon, taomon, flamedramon, and a metalgarurumon(blk) that'll be in the digifarm untill I have enough memory, and a garudamon that's there just to fight crusadermon.

Yeah sure! You didn't miss anything. I thought about putting Trailmon in the Post with Locomon and GrandLocomon, but ultimately decided against to keep it with just those two from the Runaway Train movie.

Digimon au this time. My sister helped me come up with his nickname because all I had were blanks, but it will be Draystermon. Reminds me of how in the digimon tamers anime, Guilmon kept adding 'mon' to Takato's name. I think I'll have the au Drayton's digimon do that. Cloak guy will hear it once and keep repeating it as his nickname.

He will use the computer emoji 💻

His outfit is changed to reflect the lack of pokemon in his universe- It's basically like a normal universe with animals in it. But he and some other characters go to the digital world

Here's without Dorumon

There was some other time several months ago I thought of making a digimon au and giving him Monodramon. Then I just. Forgot about it. But recently, like last week while playing digimon story cyber sleuth, I thought about a digimon au with changed plans.

The reason for having Dorumon as a partner AND my main reason for deciding to finally have a digimon au finally is because while playing digimon story cyber sleuth I hallucinated Drayton's face over an image of Dorugoramon. (Dorumon's mega level) and went "I need to make a digimon au so I can give him that"

That's it. That's the reason. It's real silly. Anyways I made an edit to show a visual of what I saw down below

I thought of plenty other things for this au such as digimon partners for some other characters and some history type of stuff relating to "what if the current group wasn't the first in this universe to go to the digital world?".

The history type stuff is also based on an idea that came to me in a hallucination while playing digimon story cyber sleuth. Slayerdramon almost has a thing that looks like Drayden's beard so then I thought "ah yes. Old-man-jumpscare himself went on an adventure in the digimon world when he was a kid then he and the group he would have traveled with just kinda. kept it secret." He would have traveled the digital world with a Dracomon.

Only for Drayton and some other people years later to find an old computer and get forced on an adventure with digimon.

Another thing concerning the history in the au that I thought of. The same way in the digimon adventure anime where the two most main characters can fuse their digimon (wargreymon and metalgarurumon into omnimon), I'm going to say that a second person in the older group also had a Dracomon, but it would have taken the route to digivolve into Breakdramon instead of Slayerdramon. Those two can fuse into Examon. Since Drayden knows Hassel(iirc) and Hassel is also a dragon person, it could be Hassel I guess.

I'm still trying to think of what digimon Carmine, Crispin, and Amarys would have. At first thought, it's Gazimon, Muchomon, and Kokuwamon, but there might be better options. I'll figure it out at some point. Main hinderance is that my mind has been on other things.

Like if I give Ryuki a role in this au his partner would be Shoutmon with no debate necessary.

Or Ingo and Emmet. I shouldn't just give them both pawnchessmon just because of the conveniently black and white variants. They could share one Grandlocomon. Two people sharing one digimon partner has happened in the anime before and I like this for them.

I mentioned Monodramon before as a previous choice for Drayton, but I'm giving it to Leon. Monodramon has a previous form called Hopmon and I think that adds a layer of silly to giving one to Leon.

Another question is how many people am I going to send to the digital world. If I wanted to keep things the usual way, it would be young folks. Younger than Leon or Ryuki definitely. But I also like the idea of the digital world going untouched for a long time, so Ryuki and Leon may not be heavily involved. Or possibly Ingo and Emmet? No clue how aged they are. Hop could get the Monodramon :)

I want to give someone Troopmon or Creepymon or Raremon since those are some of my favorites but I even more want to give characters a digimon that would match them best as possible. So off the top of my sleep-deprived mind, I can't think of anyone who would logically have any of those, but idk. I know I'm often the "anything can happen in an au. i can keep and throw out canon as i want" kind of person when it comes to alternate universes, but occasionally I like sense to be made for certain things.

Crazy how all this is bound to get a really epic story in my head that I'll probably never write

It's so funny to me as a Digimon fan that no one has done a Submas Digimon AU. The main premise of most Digimon series (most notably the original Adventure) is that they get transported to another world. One that tends to have human-like elements because the two worlds are connected. Frontier literally brought the kids to the Digital World through a train station! There's train digimon! THERE'S TWIN DIGIMON! It works so well I'm surprised no one has done it.

On that note I can imagine the twins having Chocomon and Gummymon but I feel like they evolve in diffrent directions (I guess they'd get a matching trainmon at some point but I feel like that depends on if your working on Digimon as reflections of the human logic or not, though it would feel very disappointing to not give them both Grandlocomon though)

(It would also be disappointing if I didn't give them the ability to biomerge into a Grandlocomon actually...like...they could legitimately become trains in this AU concept. Heck jogress/fusion evolution is sitting right there-)

While getting rid of a bunch of sketchbooks I have never bothered to open up anymore, I found a ton of Digimon sketches and half-finished drawings I had made and never came back for. Some of these go as far back as 2010, and a good chunk of these have my ideas for lines that haven't been filled: Like a line that connects Trailmon, Locomon, and GrandLocomon together by making a Rookie/Child Digimon based around little trains that you allow your kid to ride on at places like zoos. Other times, it's swapping out a Digimon for a new one, like what I tend to do with Betamon for Unagimon.

Other times, I make entirely new Digimon lines for niches that haven't been filled, like a bat Digimon line that's not based on vampires or demons. I heard once Batman as a franchise is *really* popular in Japan, so I thought 'why not make a Digimon line based off of American Superheroes like Batman?'.

I should revive Rousemon at some point, touch them up to fit with the Digimon style.

Aight so Agumon Bond of Courage and GrandLocomon died pretty fast outside of cold storage. Like, shortly after I got home: eggs. I have not had the time to draw memorial pictures so I guess we'll just roll into the babies.

GrandLocomon's egg hatched and became Gabe the Gabumon (he really wants to be called Gabe) and Agumon BoC's egg is now a child-level Algomon.

In other news, I have gathered a team of concerned digimon to combat the VHS pyramid scheme baron consisting of the Mormon Patamon, a Lutheran Gatomon, and a Biyomon who has no strong religious affiliation whatsoever but wants to be included.

I mean

They’re both trains, so I don’t think much would have changed? I don’t know much about Locomon (haven’t seen the Tamers movie) so I can’t even tell you if speed would have changed or what.

Alright yet another update. I finally got all of the requirements to evolve my guardromon into datamon, which means I'm one step closer to grandlocomon. And tho rest of my team at the current moment are garurumon(blk), seadtamon, airdramon and coredramon(green). And if you know about evolution paths in digimon cybersleuth then you probably know what I'm gonna do with those last 2, but I have two questions 1-are there any special requirements for turning slayerdramon and brakedramon into examon other than level and stat conditions or can I just do it as soon as they meet them? And 2-is there a certain point at which I can go fight magnamon to get his digiegg and should my digimon be at certain recomended levels for it? Any advice would be appreciated, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

Whew, it's been a hectic few weeks. The holiday season sure hits hard when you're a tamer that also works retail.

ANYWAY, during our time together over the month, Andros managed to evolve into AtlurBallistamon, and further yet into GrandLocomon!

Gotta say, I'm happy for him. He did a lot of work to pull off such a huge evolution, and I look forward to getting a ride on him in the Digital World.

Well, look who decided to visit me at work!

It seems after Mr. Pumpkin and I were able to unlock NoblePumpkinmon together with the power of the Vital Bracelet, Andros wanted to see what possible evolutions he could unlock too!

Actually wait no I’m still in a DigiTrainguys mood- I eeby-deebied them both at the same time in this AU (they go on a train and Oh Shit This Is Not There Stop) but could you fucking imagine if Ingo was eeby-deebied first and Emmet gets to the Digital World and his brother became a fucking train because when your stuck in the Digital World biomerging to be a Digimon is a pretty Good idea overall.

Also the way they travel between the two worlds is jogress + biomerge to Mastemon since it can canonically make portals between different dimensions and it’s called the Tactician from another world so it’s super fitting but its just...

Mastemon’s main attack is Chaos Degrade, which, and I quote from Wikimon: “Fuses the energy of light and darkness from its arms to produce a gate to another dimension, consigning the enemy to oblivion.“

The can literally send people to Hell.

This is incredibly funny to me.

Also their other evo (just biomerging) is Grandlocomon and that guy just crashes into people with their High Speed Spiked Spinning Wheel To Rip Their Enemy Apart. This is Very Much Not Part of the Safety Protocols.
