Bridging Hope and Healing for Anorectal Care

At PHC Kolwan, Mulshi, Pune, the Healing Hands Foundation (HHF) team took a significant step towards addressing one of the most sensitive health issues – anorectal care. Conditions like #piles, #fissures, #fistulas, #pilonidal #sinus, and #chronic #constipation were the focus of this drive.

A total of 80 #patients benefited from #free #consultations, expert #counseling, and plant-based medicines provided by our dedicated team.

Dr. Ashwini Pargewar led the diagnoses, while Tejashree Khalate offered personalized counseling and dispensed plant-based medicines on behalf of HHF. The smooth coordination of the drive was managed by Anand Mishal, Ujjwala Khalate, Rajesh Raut and Shailesh Said.

We extend special thanks to the PHC Kolwan team – Popat Dudhe, Baban Dhide, Chagan Dhide, Suresh Dhide, Samir Dudhe (Grampanchayat Sadasya), Gajanan Jadhav ( Gramsevak),Radhika Sathe, Jayashri Durge, Sonali Sathe(ASHA),Sharad Bhosale(Arogya Sahayak), Rajina Sayyed(Samuday Arogya Adhikari), Samir Kale(Arogya Sevak),Sunita Chaure, Vandana Kalekar(ANM) – for their unwavering support.

We had an interesting health awareness talk with these kids at Pomgaon. The kids actively participated in the discussion and teamed up with us on our health awareness drive. We kept the communication relaxed and easy which is very important at this age so as to make them less hesitant in opening up about their doubts.

Our team is excited about increasing awareness of anorectal health, proper #eating #habits, #toilet #manners, and #sanitation among these #little #ones.

After the Chhatra Swasthya Prabodhini, at Grampanchayat Pomgaon, Mulshi, 53 patients benifitted with free consultation, counseling, and plant base medicines for their anorectal health.

Dr. Ashwini Pargewar examined patients. Anand Misal helped with the smooth of the drive.

Anita Said arranged the awareness and checkup drive under the guidance of Dr Ashwin Porwal(Founder-President, HHF), Dr Snehal Porwal(Founder-Secretary, HHF) & Madhura Bhate(NGO-Coordinator, HHF).
