hello everybody who likes stephgrace!!! very short notice but my dear friend @jewishruthfleming (i am tagging her because this is all his fault) made a post about "what if stephgrace/lautity week" and i am nothing if not a fandom enabler who is committed to the bit.

what is your LEAST favorite fanon about your character?

when people say that lautski is a straight couple when those stupid smitten kids are the farthest fucking thing from straight and i-

okay okay jokes aside ( even if it’s not a joke )this is a hard questions because oh boy does the hatchetfield fandom have so much wild and differing takes on miss lauter and i love it honestly . out of all of the hot takes ive seen before that i do not agree with though i think the fanon is the fact that in a universe that max didn’t catch the bullet and steph shot pete, i simply think she would not have gone to jail. what fun is that with the lords in black when steph, despite what she’s been taught by her father ( truthfully inspite of because so much of what she wants to do the opposite of what she’s seen her father do and what he’s taught ) would want to take accountability for not just pete but all of it? wouldn’t that be letting her win? why not leave the girl with no one and watch her spiral downwards…

if that’s not specifically about steph though it’s the fact the some people think she’s the one who got crypto. absolutely not. that would be her father ( does he believe in crypto or does he think steph converting her money out of crypto is good practice who knows but i have a theory. i have so many theories about so many timelines…
