HE WAS AWARE OF WHY THE OTHER WOULDN’T WANT TO GO INTO A GRAVEYARD,    ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.   if he weren’t so  accustomed  to spending time here,   kinaki probably would have felt similarly.   thankfully,   his job allowed for him to create  quite  the comfortable relationships with being in such a creepy atmosphere.   at night,   it was a little different . . . but it wasn’t as if anything had changed.   

❝   it’ll be  fine.   ❞  he assured the other,   intent on going whether he was going to chicken out or not.   ❝  i  dropped  my phone here earlier,    it’s gotta still be here.   no one else has the keys.   ❞  by earlier,   he meant during a service;   bringing the other along was just a means of a flashlight.   ❝  i was gunna wait until tomorrow  --   it’s   supposed  to rain tonight.   ❞  the taller added,   already anticipating the question as to  why  this couldn’t wait until tomorrow.

The beginning

I don’t think I imagined how hard this was all going to be-it's emotionally, physically, and mentally draining. I thought by acknowledging that I had a problem and seeking help would alleviate the pain and confusion. I was wrong. 

 I met with my dietician the other day for the first time. There were many questions answered and many left unanswered. This process is about getting to know myself and what makes me tick the way I do. She said this is going to be really hard but it's all worth it, and I hope she's right.  She is going to help me live more in the gray area. I have the personality where gray is not apart of my life. I'm either all in or all out. I either exercise too much or not at all; and that's only one example. 

Right now, I have to try to give myself grace through this process. I have to start working on my internal struggles that will hopefully help my external ones.  Some days are better than others.  

 I ask myself why I had to become like this? What happened to me?
