Look, I'm not the biggest fan of season 7 but I am a fan of a couple of the characters. So. Here we are. This is canon divergent because in this version of adult Henry is main Henry and Lucy is his daughter. Alice is Hope's twin here. Robin didn't die. Yes yes, I have a million fanfics I need to continue BUTTTTT I have had an idea (completely wacky concept that without the writing itself will sound so incredibly out of pocket.. cause it is) that has been rotting in my brain for so long.

It is an OUAT - once upon a time - fanfic and a partial Marvel one, that consists of Jefferson (you fucking simps are welcome) shipped with Merlin. Yes.. I know, it’s weird. But I have had it in my head for so long that I have the story planned from start to finish. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually finish this one.

However, Jefferson will also be Bucky Barnes. Because, well it makes it more interesting. And yes, I’ve figured out how to incorporate him. (Him being a portal jumper helps)

Originally I only like Merlin because of Gaz but ever since rewatching season 5 for the 8264927483rd time, I’m actually just obsessed with Merlin himself. He’s so funny and I love him.

Found out last night that one of my co-authored stories was deleted without my consent on AO3 by the other author. Not sure why I wasn’t just left as the sole author. I worked hard on this story despite it not being finished so I am publishing it again after removing the other author’s content and making it my own, and will finish it with this newfound freedom to do so.

The first two chapters are up now. If you like a historical AU and Once Upon a Time, you might enjoy it as much as I have.

Summary: Jefferson is a US Marine living in Storybrooke, Maine with his teenage daughter, Grace. He has received a telegram that he will be called back into service as the war effort is in desperate need of helicopter pilots in Vietnam. He thought he had put all of that behind himself before Grace was born. With despair on his mind over the knowledge that he will soon have to leave his young daughter behind without a parent, Jefferson tells Grace the story of how he met her late mother in Korea over a decade before - she an Army nurse and he a Marine Search and Rescue pilot - and how he fell in love, then lost her.

Events begin to unravel which may reveal that none of which they think was real actually was.

cause percy is the hot bad boy son of poseidon (pirate) who often just says what comes to his mind, and jason is the perfect stereotypical son of zeus (prince charming) who always appears to have his shit together. and they dislike each other at first, but end up becoming very good friends, basically family, who trust each other a great deal, have the funniest dynamic, and fight many battles together

valgrace except they parade around pretending to hate each other. leo plays pranks and jason says offhanded comments, both getting on the other’s nerves and it’s like entertainment for pretty much the entire camp. popcorn in their laps and bets are even placed between cabins.

yet late at night, someone sneaks into jason’s cabin past curfew.

“did anyone follow you?” jason whispered.

leo shook his head. “nope.” and they kiss. they kiss and hold each other in their arms on stolen time.

and of course, thinking none the wiser and keeping their act but way back in the distance, campers are paying up and there’s stifled laughter and giggles especially from annabeth and piper. they know but they also know it’s exhilarating sneaking around with someone you can’t stand (you’re in love with)

Lieutenant Helga Katrina Sinclair from Atlantis is CJ’s mother! She and Hook had a bit of a rivals with benefits situation (they cannot stand each other fr 😭), and CJ is also kinda dumped on his doorstep when the whole affair ends

CJ is extremely adventurous by nature, loves swinging in to make a grand entrance, it makes sense to me that both her parents would be adventurers!

the lesson here is that James Hook has a terrible track record with keeping women around 😭 shoutout to Morgie for being a really good uncle and practically raising Harriet
