Round 1 Poll 76: One/Two-Dimensional

God of War submission:

People say Kratos is one dimensional in the early games; really they just haven’t played them, because he as a character and the story still has a lot of depth

Gravity Falls submission:

Bill Cipher supposedly being a two-dimensional, irredeemable villain. The finale literally hints to some backstory on top of Journal 3 and the AMA filling in more of that which boils down to a lot of interesting implications about his old home dimension and his motivations. On top of that, he did reference a creature called the Axolotl in the finale and one of the books features this being, which straight up tells us that he has regrets, is unhappy and puts on a facade, and gets a second chance at life to make up for his misdeeds.
