Who is minding Tramp Stamp Granny’s?

So I wanna talk about some comments characterization Mia related to TSG. 

Bar, what bar?

How she gets away with complete neglect when people invested real money is beyond me. Pathetic example of a human that is only relevant for her connection to a man.

First off, I want to say how altruistic is that the CCers are so worried about TSG’s investors losing their hard earned dollars. As for it being a “pathetic example of a human being that is relevant for her connection to a man”  I beg to differ. Nobody except the CCers are “connecting her to her man”. In fact literally  nobody is asking for any of Darren’s fans to find Mia relevant, nice, or likable..nobody is asking us to have any feelings about Mia. Darren has asked us to respect her because she is with him but the CCers can’t even follow the most basic respect. 

The only one who is pathetic here is the person who claims that someone they know nothing about is pathetic because she isn’t blasting her career aspirations and the business of running TSG all over social media (of course if she was they would claim she was a fame whore who need attention).  The only person who is fucking pathetic is the person who WON’T LET GO OF THIS STUPID TROPE- the one where Mia is a worthless human being because you can’t see her work at the bar on social media. No human being is valued by what they do to earn money. Mia has a lot of friends- I would venture to say she has more than the CCers- and family and a fiancee and they all find her relevant and priceless. Nobody else’s opinion matters.   

However, another CCer had to chime in with this gem:

To me this proves beyond doubt it wasn’t her dream, just a tool to promote her to as many people in the business as possible and get her face out there. She hardly bothered with the bar once it started shutting on Sundays (pre em/my).

I’m almost expecting them to sell as it’s served it’s purpose. No other reason for letting her run it into the ground.

I imagine she can claim a ‘gruelling travel schedule’ again.

When did Mia speak about anything, let alone a ‘grueling travel schedule?  

Just because Mia isn’t blasting social media with riveting posts like:

I may be done but the CCers weren’t.  Oh NO, they had to keep ranting: 

How do people no realize it’s not normal for one to follow their SO in this manner? Because most people have careers and jobs.

And as soon as they marketed it as D’s bar, she lost the credibility, because they put all the work on his shoulders. He even manages the staff.

I mean really? They “marketed it as D’s bar”, “She lost credibility”? As what? The Boss? I think you have to ask her employees that. Or are they claiming she lost credibility with the CCers because I will wet myself laughing if they are suggesting that prior to whatever date they started “marketed it as Darren’s bar” is the day they lost credibility. Darren announced the bar on April 6 saying 

Mia and I are happy to say that our piano bar baby @trampstampgrannys is finally open for business in Los Angeles.  

It was marketed as Darren’s from day one.

When did Darren moan about managing the staff by himself? I head him mention he had to do marketing but I assume that meant interviews. I don’t imagine that meant he had photoshop open and was designing logos and making fliers to hang on telephone poles with little tear off strips with their address and phone number.  When was “all the work put on this shoulders”? It’s funny that they can imagine Darren doing so much work but they can’t imagine Mia doing anything. If Mia isn’t there then Darren isn’t there...has Darren been there without Mia? 

Their conversation is hateful and pointless based entirely on their own stereotypes and hatred and this fantasy that Darren is such a victim...besides running around signing self-harming contracts, now he runs the bar too.

This meme made me LOL hard. One of the benefits of being a freelancer is that, to some extent, you can pick and choose who you work with. And who you have to sit in meetings with. I had a crazy busy week last week. Worked with some easy, wonderful clients. Worked with some that were more difficult. When I’m listening to someone talk, and they have no idea what they’re talking about but think they do, I just keep telling myself—in my head— that I am getting paid by the hour. Sorry, your time is up!

I love my job as a caseworker. I like having the freedom to take my time with my client and  make sure their needs are met. Although, I am excited about becoming a therapist, I dread when I have to tell someone in the middle of a breakthrough, “I’m sorry your time is up!” I have noticed that getting paid is more important than helping the client. In  my organization, we have to choose between shortchanging the client or shortchanging our paychecks. Everyone has to get paid, but at someone’s else’s expense...Thoughts?
