You know what those interviews made me think of? that one fanart 'gotinsider‘ posted a few weeks back, showing Dany becoming the Night Queen. Now, this is something I believed to be ridiculous but now I think I‘m going to really need therapy if Dany became something like that. That would be mindblowing (not in a good way) but I don‘t know if they can write this in a way that would make sense? Or maybe she’s gonna give birth in a fire, to parallel how she brought her dragons into the world?

(Continued)I can actually see this one happening, especially if she happens to give birth during the war? Assuming she’s pregnant of course. Or she’ll set Jon on fire and make some prophesies come true, she has a hunch for those things, doesn’t she?? Like when she carried her dragon eggs into the fire in s1.

Yeah anon I agree that Night Queen Dany is ridiculous. That’s something I’m not personally at all worried about haha. As for Dany giving birth in fire, that’s something that hadn’t occurred to me before. I guess it’s possible if it’s necessary in some sort of ritual recommended by Melisandre. I’ve also thought for awhile now that the show will feature something with Jon being invulnerable to fire after being revealed as a Targaryen. I know that not all Targaryens have this ability and that it’s supposed to be a one-time phenomenon when Dany hatches the dragons, but since she was also able to use this ability at will in s6 I could see the showrunners doing something similar with Jon. That could be a big shock for the GA, though I’m unsure of the context that would provoke Dany to burn Jon (even without the intent to hurt him since she might “sense” he wouldn’t actually burn) or for Jon to be burned in general.

Game of Thrones S08E05 The winter has come and gone, some got what they expected for others it was darkness but now the song of ice and fire turns to fire and it is surreal. We have been witnessing the change in the character of Danny since a few episodes. In her defense if you had 3 dragons whom you raised like your children, loosing them will shake you a bit, plus also the loss of a very good friend. In this episode the mother of dragons has had enough. She realizes that she cannot really trust anyone and the dream of becoming a loved queen seems far fetched. Tyrion is still begging everyone to save the city because he really does not want to see everyone burn. Perhaps the Golden company wasn't shown much in the past episodes because they were all going to be burned in a second when the fight comes, and we finally see the real power of a dragon in this episode and how only 1 is enough to take a city. Tyrion did not like the way her queen reacted to the ringing of the bells, Jon didn't like the way her queen reacted to the ringing of the bells, I didn't like the way she reacted. But when you stop to think about it. She sees the Red Keep built by her ancestors, her dream is in front of her, her destiny is in front of her, all her struggles, hardships she faced to be there. All the things that were impossible she made them possible. She tried and tried to be the better ruler, the right ruler that this realm deserves. Now where has that gotten her? No one to love, no one to trust. So she chose fear. Cersei did the absolute worst when taking revenge for her children, and in a way so did the braker of chains. To come from nothing, built on legacies, to rise so high, to be so admired and then crushed, that must change you.
