BOUNCES AROUND I have. five?? inserts for far cry, the main ones are micah and izzy (with special mention for turquoise tbh) but honestly my favourite one is isaiah / izzy (who is for far cry 3 & 4). like I've put so much work into not only micah (far cry 5), turquoise (new dawn), and to a lesser extent theodore and my captain of security, but izzy is a whole different ballgame because I've been working on them for like. 6-ish years lmao. and since they span over two games, there's a lot that I have for them!! I have more info in their tag (I'll tag them when I answer this and you can ravage the tag to your heart's content if u want) but I shall go off on the basics!!

izzy is a government agent who worked with willis in fc3, getting sent to rook island after a biiiit of a filing issue, and oh boy it's a Shitshow. and after fc3 they befriend ajay before the events of fc4 and go with him to kyrat.

technically jason is also an f/o but that is....a lot to explain, because their relationship depends on a lot of factors and the majority of those factors are related to them being like. mostly best friends and toeing a thin line.

my main f/o assigned to izzy tho, is ajay.

The words, a low tenor in an unfamiliar voice from behind him preceded by an indecent whistle, had a shiver running up his spine and a hand tightening involuntarily on the knife he was sharpening. It was a pickup line Maverick had heard before, and one he had decked or verbally destroyed everyone he had heard it come out of the mouth of. It was one thing for someone to ask him to hook up, and that was what he preferred; the direct approach, free of such useless fluff and coy pandering.

Even worse, somehow the man behind him had snuck up on him; Maverick hated that. No one snuck up on him; he snuck up on other people. Folks who snuck up on him had a bad habit of ending up dead.  

Of course, once he spun around and assessed the situation, it was obvious as to how he had done it. He recognized him, not only from having seen him around base in the short few days he had been there, but by word of mouth. In the circles he ran in, political and military meshed in with average rich folks with a score to settle, Kazuhira Miller was dwarfed only by the Boss himself in terms of reputation. Big Boss had specifically warned him, even, about this particular scenario.

He was handsome, Maverick would give him that, all blonde hair and lean muscle and masculine angles and the tease of eyes shielded by dark glass. He wasn't shy about how his own eyes flitted over his body, taking him in, and it only made the commander's cocky grin grow wider. At once, the assassin thought about kissing it and wiping it right off his smug face.

A low laugh, sardonic in its brevity, filtered into the air between them.

"You spend all night coming up with that, Commander? I'm impressed." Sarcasm dripped thick from him, a smirk pulling up the corners of his own mouth.  

"Sure did. Could definitely think of some things I'd rather spend my night doing, though." He wasn't even shaken from his confidence a little by Maverick's pointed comeback, even as the space between them shrunk. When had he stepped closer? It was like there was a magnetic pull between them, as ridiculous as that was. He knew better than to get attached and make something out of nothing, and especially not when dealing with a man like this, who had probably had half this base and could have them again whenever he wanted, who only wanted to add him to that number like a trophy.

Still, it had been a while since he had fooled around with someone who might be worth his time. What could a roll in the sack hurt, in the long run?

"Mmmnn, anything to keep you from spouting more lines." The grin on his face only widened. How long had his heart been racing? He would absolutely blame that on being snuck up on, on the only barest supression of his killer instinct. That had to be all it was, right? Of course that was all it was.

"Seems like they worked well enough to me." That overconfident grin still hadn't left him, and it was equal parts stunning and infuriating.

Maverick would teach him not to underestimate him, for sure.

The sweetest prince who Im proud of for so many reasons. This cutie gives so much of themselves leaving them vulnerable. Its a beautiful trait but can easily be twisted, to sensitive ones like us, hate isn't easy to swallow. They will never deserve the nasty submissions they deal with on a daily basis and I think Im not the only one that wants to protect them. Even if they handle themselves on their own without asking for help.

Im here posting a picture of us in 2014, to show this person not only became the closest person to me in a matter of days/weeks at the beginning..but has time and time again shown me when you find your soulmate, you can't ever grow apart. You end up seeing them in every step of your life wanting to include them because without them whats the point? I get incredibly protective and wish I could do more to be there for them. I want the best for them, and hope we can all support because they are struggling so much..My hopes are high for new beginnings which Ill be along side them to help💛 Back in 2014 they saved me. this is such a weird question. do people make self inserts for things other than selfshipping?? anyway. obviously his main dynamic is w kaz; they compliment each other in a lot of ways.. both kind of work too hard, in different ways, and find solace and relaxation in each others presence-- something that only becomes stronger over the years. they never really stop being playful and easygoing-- maverick can get away w saying a lot of things to kaz that probably nobody else could, and vice versa. the obnoxious pda couple to a fault, even if they get a bit quieter about it as they get older. 

mavericks other strong connection, as you already know, is to big boss. he never really had a lot of strong older male figures in his life that weren’t horrendous, and good ol john snake fits that older brother role to a t-- at least for a while. mostly they just train-- its how they communicate. maverick considers it an accomplishment if he can make him laugh. once in a blue moon trauma is mutually discussed, acknowledged and then never brought up again until the next time it happens.

obviously kaz again. theres nothing mav wouldnt do for his husband up to and including die and commit violent murder. as for like.. people he doesnt like. hm. dunks on huey. ocelot can choke. next question

definitely a loner-- he didn’t really do relationships longer than like. one night stands before meeting kaz. crowds are good for blending into but hes definitely more of a solitary guy. he keeps people at arms length Often. he likes people who can take his sarcasm and keep up with him, and people who dont take his jokes too seriously and get all bummed out. anyone who tries to make him confront his Large Amount Of Trauma against his will is on his shitlist-- or just anyone too stuck up and serious in general. 

13. What are your insert’s goals? Their hopes and dreams for the past/future/present! Do they intend to achieve no matter what? Could anything stop them, big or small?

GOALS.... cant say he really had many before msf. his only goal was ..... not to die, really. keeping himself alive was a big focus, just surviving long enough to... survive. id say his larger goal that maybe even he didnt acknowledge was to kind of... reclaim his life from the hands of his father. over time, he kind of does this without realizing it, and his goal in life becomes to protect the optimistic peaceful world that kaz believes in-- even if sometimes neither of them believe in it. hes very determined fjdslfl 

14. Does your insert have any family relations? How do they get along? How do they disagree? Is it a biological family? Adopted? Or is it found family? How did this family come together, if it was one of the last two?

not at first. his parents are both dead and he killed one of them fdsjkfl you could say he eventually gains a family-- kaz and their kids and solid and otacon. havent decided how much of all that is canon BUT. yknow 

15. Does your insert have any enemies? What’s that dynamic like? Why are they enemies? Did they ever get along in the past? Is patching up differences out of the question for the future?
