Since 2024 is coming to a close, I think we should list things that need to be stopped after new years. Some of these include:

Music:

1.) Stop policing people who listen to music and don’t know either every little thing or fact about said band, listens to them occasionally but says they like them, only likes the hits ( yes, especially the people who say they only like smells like teen spirit because the same people who say “ oh they have more songs” never pick the actual good ones. Come as you are or on a plain are not their only songs either, choose mexican seafood, big cheese or big long now if your going to be a pretentious prick) let people listen to what they want to!

2.) It’s good to have productive and nuanced conversations about artists, the history and so on but let’s say if someone listens to joy division besides acting like said person is a piece of shit because they don’t know the band name context or don’t know about the singers personal demons or things they done that are questionable or don’t hold up, HAVE A PRODUCTIVE CONVERSATION ABOUT IT AND LEARN AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO USE JUDGEMENT OF WHAT MEDIA THEY CHOOSE TO CONSUME!!!, because unless if it’s dangerous shit like propaganda that brings down struggling groups or they are actively encouraging it besides exploring the themes and using it to tell a message on how it’s bad and hurts people please stop making think pieces and harassing people! Especially when you don’t actually have the proper skills to talk about it constructively

3.) Understand the sub cultures you claim to be actual history especially when it comes to fashion, especially grunge because you do know that reason they dressed in either flannels or second hand stores was because it was affordable and many of the artists were not wealthy or didn’t have the best living situations. And with that comes the idea also you don’t have to dress like a subculture to be one either, you can be goth and dress in popular clothes and you can be grunge if you like to only where hoodies and sweatpants. Because a lot of said looks are just styles people copied from others when it should be what YOU COME UP WITH, that is the point, step out the box and make your own stuff. Don’t spend $55 on a flannel and $200 on a shit pair of boots to look the part UNLESS YOU WANT TO AND IT MAKE YOU HAPPY! But don’t do it to fit in, that’s disingenuous

Politics:

Literally understand trans people, anyone who’s not white, and other groups of struggling people who the government or “ conservatives “ (which I think honestly they are just people who don’t understand changing times and get so terrified they use their fear and bigotry to clam it’s a political stance when it’s just person bias) says are the problem. They aren’t, but you know what is? Those old as fuck politicians that don’t give a shit about people and keep making choices they know damn well hurt people and have younger people and pay them to say their hateful and damaging shit. please stop being idiotic and have common sense, do not trade equal rights and affordable healthcare and services along with free education and meals for the sake of living in a version of America they want to make “ great again “ that never existed!

2.) Next election and moving forward, please understand that politicians and presidents aren’t your friend. They are not role models, all have done horrible and shitty things especially ones he hold up to a pedestal. But that does not fucking mean you don’t vote or you vote for a racist/fascist because one isn’t 100% perfect, it’s fucking damaging and now we have to live with those consequences for 4 years. Learn from this shit!!

1.) Ban podcasts, yall don’t know how to act or present information right. And takes from women’s rights and men’s perspectives that come from said podcasts are why they have to go!

2.) STOP PUTTING CELEBRITIES AND ARTISTS ON A PEDESTAL, THEY ARE HUMAN AND THEY FUCK UP LIKE ANYONE ELSE! First of all, what’s wrong with egirls?

Second, you do realize there’s a sub style of goth called Pastel Goth, right? There are so many substyles of gothic fashion. Gothic fashion doesn’t only include all black stuff.

Even the person who designed Emberlynn confirmed that she is indeed supposed to be Pastel Goth.

Plus goth is for the most part a music based subculture it’s not all about the fashion. If you personally don’t consider her goth cuz she likes anime, kawaii stuff, and smut then that also makes no sense.

I have never come across a goth or alternative person in general online that isn’t into anime, fanfiction, or smut. I’ve seen mostly positive things about Emberlynn but I’m also not liking this other new hate wave towards her.

THATS THE POINT. She supposed to represent all of those “cringy” fangirls who are obsessed with anime, fanfiction, smut, and their fictional crushes who also got bullied and made fun of for their interests. Even then it’s just a lighthearted jab at the fandom it’s not like Emberlynn was created out of malice.

A lot of thought and care went into her design and she was created BY people who are exactly like her which is why a lot of us see ourselves within Emberlynn and why a lot of ppl in the fandom love her. Because a lot of us are kinda like her in a way. And Viv and the ppl who work on the hellaverse team know this, because a lot of ppl on the hellaverse team, Viv included are also most likely like Emberlynn. SHE IS FOR US.

She’s for all the fangirls and or fans in general who’ve been bullied and made fun of and told that what we do and or love is cringey and wrong. She’s not for the ppl who for some reason haven’t grown out of cringe culture yet. She’s not for you.

No one is saying you HAVE TO like her or anything, but I frankly find it pretty weird at the amount of ppl I’ve seen who are genuinely upset about her existence along with saying incredibly mean and vile things towards her.

Hello !! (๑>◡<๑) Here is my first blog on where to buy Gyaru clothes ! Even tho its important to repeat that gyaru clothes DON'T exist ! The most important part is to learn how to style basic clothes to make them look gyaru in your outfit ! I still tried to find some brands for you but since gyaru brands don't really exist anymore you still need to find a way to style these item in a gyaru way !

Thats not a secret for anyone anymore but these are the best place to shop and find really cool clothes ! "But thrift near me only have disco clothes!" , you will not find an alba coat there girlie thats sure but the art of fashion is learning how to style piece togethere, while looking think of how you could style what u found and you will realize that these place really have good things !

Breaking my hiatus to put together a goth inspired lookbook because the official Sims kit - WOOF. The goth culture has so many varied and cool sub-cultures, so I chose some of my favourites to showcase today.

Cybergoth is the probably the most unique aesthetic when it comes to goth sub-cultures; marrying goth, raver and cyberpunk fashion into a wholly unique style. It's typified by the pairing of stark black with highly contrasting neons and brights. Both hairstyles and make up are highly intricate.
