I think it would be cute if we got more brotherly content between Kraglin and Peter since they canonically grew up together
Imagine Peter's like 18, Kraglin's probably 22
Kraglin finds out Terrans are ticklish and now he just won't leave Peter alone. Peter tries to get him back but Kraglin claims it's a Terran thing.
But Xandarians are extremely similar to Terrans so Peter tries anyway and sure enough, now he's got his brother frantically trying to wrestle him off, his laughter sounding confused and unused as he hasn't been tickled on purpose before (it's all been brief, accidental nudges from other Ravager crew since he grew up on the ship)
But this quickly starts an all out war between the brothers until Yondu has to break them up (Who declares Peter as the winner after he begged him to say who was winning)

I actually cried damn
peter yondu "run"
I feel like the prompt got lost XD I asked for a pairing/fandom and three words. Not like a phrase or something lol
“Run, boy,” Yondu growled as young Peter Quill gasped and ran off. He didn’t mean to shoot the gun so close to Yondu’s head, it just kinda…. happened. Luckily no one was hurt. Well, at least for now. Lord knows what Yondu was gonna do to Quill once he caught him.
Peter ran across the Ravager’s ship, his heart pounding in his chest. Oh no oh no oh no. He climbed up to different levels, hoping Yondu wouldn’t find him.
He bumped into another Ravager, who snarled at him practically and grabbed him by his collar. Peter gasped as his legs flailed in the air.
“Who do ya think you are, Terran?” the Ravager’s sharp teeth shown right in Peter’s face and the young boy cringed.
“L-Lemme go! I’m sorry!
“Sorry ain’t good enough,” and he threw Peter onto the floor.
Just as the Ravager was advancing on the defenseless boy, something shoved the brute back.
“Hey! What the hell do you think you’re doin’?” it was Yondu. Freaking Yondu.
“O-Oh, I, uh… nothing,” now the Ravager dropped his tough exterior and became little to nothing when approached by his superior.
“I ever see you touch that boy again, I’m blasting your ass into space. Got it?”
“Y-Yes, sir!” and he scurried away. Yes, the big hulking mass of Ravager scurried.
Peter now remembered Yondu being after him in the first place and he pushed himself along the floor away from the blue man. He hit a wall and cowered. This was the end. He ducked his head down when he heard Yondu’s footsteps approaching.
“You okay, Quill?”
The sudden tenderness in the voice that spoke to him caught him off guard. He looked up in shock, “Y-Yeah…” he answered.
Yondu sat himself beside Peter with a low grunt and he sighed, “You know they’re all out to bully ya.”
Peter nodded, still huddled into himself.
“And I shoulda taught you how to fire a gun properly before handing you one. But seriously, my head was almost shot clean off.”
Peter blushed and he dejectedly looked down at the metal floor, “…’m sorry…”
“Huh? What was that?” Yondu asked, leaning in close to Peter.
Peter leaned back slightly and repeated, “I’m sorry,” louder than he had before.
Yondu saw the tiredness and abject fear in the young Terran’s eyes. It broke his damn heart. And here he was, not trying to be the big mean bad guy. But Quill was still scared of him.
“It’s… It’s alright, boy,” Yondu extended his hand, Peter flinching at first. But he gently ruffled his fingers over Peter’s curly hair.
Peter scrunched his face at the feeling but looked up at Yondu and felt like they were on the same team for once. No one’s threatening to eat the other, nor was there a screaming match.
“Thank you,” Peter said, “For scaring that guy away.”
“No one touches my boy without my say so,” Yondu said proudly, not knowing the gravity of his word choice. Peter’s eyes widened and he blushed even deeper. With a slight hesitation, he leaned in and hugged Yondu.
Yondu felt the hug, not expecting it in the least. But he sighed and a small smile spread across his face, crooked teeth showing and all. He hugged Peter back.
“What would you have done if I did shoot you?” Peter asked Yondu, looking up at him with a playful grin.
Yondu smirked right back, “Why don’t I show you?” and he snatched Peter up in his lap and danced wiggling fingers up and down the boy’s sides. This Terran thing was possibly his favorite thing about Peter. It was a sure fire way to get the kid to laugh. And laugh he did, squirming in Yondu’s hold best he could. What started out as a threatening day turned into something fun-filled.
Send me a fandom and/or pairing, and three words

It tickles my brain how Adam and Peter Quill had nothing to do with each other prior to GOTG but Peter also has a biblical name (Saint Peter) which is pretty fitting

What is the best gotg comic to start with/buy first to read?
i would say it largely depends on what you want! have a look through and see what tickles your fancy.
generally though, guardians of the galaxy (2008) by abnett and lanning is widely considered the best run and for good reason. it’s tightly paced and full of character and defined the guardians. basically everything since has been riffing off that run. if you start here, make sure to finish it off with the thanos imperative, which is the real ending! and if you want a massive epic that shows how the guardians got together, alongside nova shenanigans, it can provide that too. you can read the annihilation and annihilation conquest events (they’re basically unofficial guardians books, everyone shows up and it’s how they are formed), then guardians of the galaxy (2008) alongside nova (2007) because they both spin out of annihilation, then at the end of those read the thanos imperative in which the two storylines converge again. it’s good stuff and beyond a couple of early 2000s-isms (gamora spends half the time basically naked. i mean, power move, but still) it has aged pretty well.
al ewing’s run is by far my favourite alongside that, but I’m not sure how well it would work as a jumping on point as it relies on a lot of prior knowledge of relationships and traumas and has a really big cast, some of whom aren’t exactly developed to their fullest potential because the book was prematurely cancelled. the three books we did get were great and al ewing did an amazing job characterising peter, rich and gamora in particular (rich specifically. legitimate perfection).
if you want something closer to the mcu to dip your toes into, the 2017 run by gerry duggan was decent. people don’t really talk about it much i guess because while it starts off alright it unfortunately finishes with a bit of a whimper with the infinity wars event. but by all means it’s a not-very-intimidating place to start. it has the five from the first movie as leads. it’s not exactly top tier gotg, as i said, but it works well enough if the movie is the dynamic you’re used to and you want more of something familiar to get started.
in terms of solo books, once and done, groot had a fantastic solo book in 2015 (at least I think it was 2015? it’s by jeff loveness) which I would recommend to literally anyone, gotg fan or not. that’s also a shout. yeah, read groot. it’s not a massive commitment and it’s very wholesome.
the star-lord grounded solo book i never shut up about is a favourite of mine but, again, it relies a lot on prior knowledge of peter as a character because he’s coming to terms with a lot of stuff about himself. that’s not to say it can’t be enjoyed as a new fan, it can and i know people who started with it and enjoyed it. i just think it’s better appreciated when you know more about what makes him tick. it’s inherently not a good representation of gotg as it normally is (no space shenanigans, it’s set entirely on a few streets of NYC) but it does a great job as a little character study of pete. but if you see the summary and think it looks good well, why not! <3

Hi! How about 18T with Bucky and steve?
(I know you mostly write for gotg and loki, so it's okay if you would rather write with peter😊)
I'll try my best! 18. Eggnog T. Tickling
[Decided to set this before Steve gets his Super Soldier Serum. Thought it'd be nice to write them before the war and everything, just hanging out and drinking eggnog in one of their apartments in Brooklyn]
[Send me a prompt and I'll write a drabble]
***
"I think that's enough eggnog buddy," Bucky said, smiling as he pulled the carton back from his lightweight friend and placed it on his side of the coffee table, just out of Steve's reach. He was starting to wonder if Steve didn't realize the stuff was alcoholic, but it was nice to see him looking relaxed and not caring about being continually rejected from the army.
"Come on- this stuffs great!" Steve halfheartedly complained, giggling. He went to reach for it again, attempting to stretch past Bucky on the sofa to reach it on the other end of the table, only to be stopped in his tracks by Bucky poking him in the side. "Watch it- that tickles!" Steve giggled as he recoiled.
"Oh, you don't say?" Bucky teased, poking him again, this time in the stomach.
"Hey!" Steve complained, still grinning. Now, instead of reaching for the eggnog, he reached with the intention of returning Bucky's pokes.
Unfortunately Bucky barely flinched when confronted with Steve poking him in the ribs, but it didn't stop him from accepting this declaration of war.
He quickly turned the tables (if you could even say they had been turned in Steve's favor in the first place) and drummed his finger's into Steve's sides, reducing him into happy laughter until he quickly agreed that he'd give the eggnog a rest and the subject turned to them possibly making a trip to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree.

I am once again fixated on Guardians of the Galaxy, but specifically the Ravagers, as always
It's never the main crew
I always fixate on the Ravagers, even Stakar and his crew became that's where Yondu came from
I read a fic a long time ago that had Lee! Kraglin in it, but now it's just gone
and I'm sad about it because there's like 0 tickle content with Kraglin 😔
He's literally the best, what do you mean there's no tickle content of this dork :(

bf and i saw the new guardians movie yesterday, it was sooooo good !! ⁽(◍˃̵͈̑ᴗ˂̵͈̑) so i am reblogging one of my favorite gotg tickling fics ever !!! so nice to see this group again ❀.(*´◡`*)❀.
Fascination
Summary: Mantis catches a glimpse of Peter’s battle scars and a rather perplexing quirk. She shares her knowledge with the other Guardians.
Anon: Omg I would love a Guardians of the Galaxy fic where Peter (Star-Lord) tells Mantis about tickling, so she decides to test it on him; she straddles him, and then the fun begins 😳
Warning for blood and graphic descriptions of pain.
Peter had never realized some of the things that Yondu was trying to teach him. He had never stopped to listen. Now, as he limps back aboard the Milano, he can see the flaws in that gameplan.
It was entirely his fault. It was embarrassing as hell getting jumped just outside a city’s limits. He’s a Ravager and he knows better. His too-big heart got the best of him at the worst time–he heard his mother’s voice telling him be kind, Pete. So imagine his disappointment when the beggars on the road weren’t beggars at all, they pocketed some of his credits, and they beat the shit out of him for the rest.
He stumbles through the main body of the ship until he can collapse on the bench near his quarters. His breath comes in shallow gasps. It takes everything he has to convince himself he isn’t going to suffocate.
Apparently asking to keep the knife that you were stabbed with is poor etiquette. Point received.

Could you do tickle starmora headcannons?
A/N: I haven’t wrote for marvel in ages, so I’d normally deny something like this, BUT. Gotg happens to be like, top 5 favorite movies marvel wise so I gotta. Plus, I need to get out of my like, 3 month writer block LOL. I’m rusty. So fair warning. I also typically don’t do like, shipping/dynamic HCs? It’s usually for a single character. So I’m hyped! (Also, had to rewrite due to tumblr not wishing to save it. RIP.)
Tumblr media
StarMora/Star-Lord and Gamora Tickle HCs:
• Alright! Let’s start this off simple, how did one another find out about the other being ticklish.
• Quill happened to be getting close to her, literally. He was scooting close to her because they had decided to stay back at the ship while the others went to explore. He was being confident as usual, asked her to dance. No biggie.
• Until her touch was extremely gentle when her her hands went back to his side/ribs.
• From confidence and a smooth dance, lovely moment, then he just kinda squeaked/yelped.
• As if that suddenly happening wasn’t enough, Gamora then asked what it was and it went from tracing to some scribbles. AND HE DIDNT WANNA SHOVE HER AWAY SO. He just. Kinda. Let her tickle him and get him all giggly.
• And with her being very direct and deciding to be a little bit soft for him since the others weren’t there, she happened to ask if she could continue since she wasn’t very familiar with it.
• PLACE YOUR BETS ON WHAT HAPPENED.
• However, Peter tended to love affection, whether it’s tickles, hugs, secret handshake, you name it. He probably loves it. So he ended up letting her. Though, in front of others he acted tough for the sake of being taken seriously- but shhh-
• She did stop sooner or later after making him a smiley, laughing, slightly flustered mess.
• And Quill. Oh Quill. He decided after he recovered and was slightly tingly, that he wanted to test something. He slipped his hands over and started scribbling around her tummy and sides.
• And impressively, she didn’t sock him! Well done Star-Lord! Actually she even decided to be fair for a moment and let him while slightly pushing him away. Though she started to poke him once he found a better spot.
• But needless to say this was a bit forgotten since the rest of the guardians showed up soon after.
• BUT THEN. The guardians found out Quill was, well, embarrassingly ticklish thanks to him being human/Terran, it sparked a tickle fight. And it served as a reminder of sensitivity.
• Gamora and Quill ended up in a tickle fight the next time they were alone.
• Gamora honestly finds him being ticklish both adorable and kinda amusing. Mainly since he tries to act all confident and then just squeals upon being tazed.
• However, he seems to like being on mostly even ground and being the main one to introduce her to the concept, along with her actually laughing. It just makes him quite happy.
• She’ll gladly wreck him to knock him down a peg or two. But it’s all in good fun for them.
• I can see Quill being the one to start tickle fights either as a attempt to make her laugh at a sucky joke or something along those lines. Gamora starting tickle fights is very rare and if she does? Everyone is in for it, whoever it is started with, she will finish and win it.
• And a final one for the time being! Hmm. Just for that extra bit of fluff, whenever they give kisses, one of them (it switches a lot) will just start quickly/rapidly give neck kisses to make the other giggle because it’s tickly.
There you go! Hope you’ve enjoyed. After not writing for a long time and recently revisiting marvel as a fandom, this was a nice little change. Thank you for the request! :)

I've only skipped through FM, but oof is what I have to say, the comics are okay, but the movie just takes the what could've been and did it.
emotionally i tend to view the comics as kind of a rough draft of the movie(s). i feel a little bad about that sometimes, bc the comics arent baaad? but it is how i view them, like i always read them like 'oh yes, i See how this could be done with a lot of nuance and emotional depth in the movie, uh-huh, uh-huh, i see, excellent'

"Now ya listen here-!" (for GOTG maybe?)
Send me an ask with the first sentence of a fanfic and I’ll write the next five...
(you will see that I am handling the "next five" part very loosely lol)
"Now ya listen here!"
"Yeah? Try me, rat face!"
"That's it!" Rocket lunged at the oh-so-annoying Star-Lord, fighting with all his might not to just get flung off the bigger Terran's body. He latched on and a strangled squeaking sound made it out of Peter.
There was a pause in the action when Rocket leered at Peter and he grinned. Peter felt warm all of a sudden, why was he warm? the fighting it must be, yeah, the fighting and not the--oh shit.
Claws and fur make for a heck of a ticklish fight. And an unfair one, too, might he add. Rocket got Peter Quill to listen to him, all right. Music to his pointed ears.

Blue Christmas
Fandom: Guardians of the Galaxy
Hey guys! Here's a fic for this year's Squealing Santa. Thank you so much @ticklygiggles for hosting this year! This fic was written for @tickletastic, it's not great but I hope you like it!
Summary: despite Peter Quill's years in space, Christmas time always brings back some sweet memories turned sour. His newfound friends, however, can't bear the sight, and do their best to embrace this strange earth tradition and give him a holiday he'll never forget.
Tumblr media
"Whats wrong with Peter?"
Gamora stood in the doorway, looking expectantly at her fellow guardians, excluding Peter of course. Drax turned to face her, shrugging, nudging Rocket to do the same. "I am unsure," Drax spoke "I didn't notice anything different." She glanced at Rocket, who shrugged and went back to tinkering with an unidentifiable machine in front of him.
"I am Groot." A small voice called from the floor. Pulling on Rockets pant leg, the small tree creature pointed at the paper calendar that Peter still kept as a keepsake from earth. "Well how should I know what the circled square means? I doubt that has anything to do with Quill."
"I am Groot." The child persisted. "So what if that day is this week? He's probably just pissed or tired or I don't know." Gamora perked up at this, wandering to the wall where the calendar hung. Sure enough, the circled day was just a few days away, something labeled "Christmas". She took it from the wall, the worn pages shuffling in her hands. Could this be a Terran celebration? "I'll go ask Quill," she interjected, the bickering between her friends not slowing when she spoke. Keeping her thumb on the page, she closed the small booklet, walking to find Peter.
She found him in a remote corner of the ship, staring at the wall in front of him with music blaring in his headphones loud enough to hear down the hall. Carefully, she approached, taking his headphones off and placing them around his neck. Peter looked up, slapping on a fake smile. "What's wrong?" She started before he could speak. His smile faltered before he perked up again, trying to keep his image. "Nothing, why-" "Peter you've been acting strange for weeks." He sighed, sitting up. "Nothing is wrong, I promise. Just-" he took a breath "there's this holiday back on Earth. When it comes around all I can think about is my mom and my life before I left. I'll be fine." His voice shook a little at the end of his sentence, redness rising to his cheeks as he tried to supress his emotions. Without replying she sat next to him, putting an arm around him and pulling him to rest his head on her shoulder. Peter hesitantly did so, appreciating the gesture from the normally closed off woman. She couldn't just ignore this Terran holiday, not if it meant this much to him. It broke her heart to see him like this, but if she wants to do something about she'd better get help.
A few days later, Peter woke up to the sound of crashing. Though a fairly normal occurance on the ship, it still startled him. Groggily rubbing sleep from his eyes, he stood, shuffling to the door of his quarters and slapping at the wall to find the light switch. Shirtless and barefooted, he stumbled through the door as it slid open, waking up a bit as he was met with an unexpected sight.
Twinkling Christmas lights.
Well, kind of. It was an extremely long strand of lights that had been either replaced with a colored light, painted, or covered with something colorful and translucent. The strand ran nearly everywhere, making a messy web across the ceiling. Peter stared up at them while he wandered down the hallway, having to duck as some of them were lower than the height of an average human. As he wandered the "decorations" were becoming more and more obscure, random objects hung from string or hooks off of the light strands. Screwdrivers, pieces of metal, trinkets from his console and various other things dangled precariously above him, making him wonder if this was all some strange lucid dream. He rounded a corner into one of the main rooms and stopped dead in his tracks.
The crew didn't notice him at first, all focusing on trying to get the decorations finished. In the corner sat a hacked up plant, probably from a planet they recently went on a mission to, some chairs and boxes placed in a circle near it to make a small sitting area. Objects wrapped in whatever paper they could find sat under the plant and lights were strung around it, holding it to the wall as it shared the same strings. Rocket clung to the strings of lights on the wall, putting up his homemade ornaments with obvious frustration and confusion, Drax and Gamora huddled around a counter off to the side, seemingly trying to figure out a recipe as ingredients covered the surface in front of them, and Groot was doing his best to cover things in paper and put them under tree. Peter felt himself start to cry.
Gamora heard Peter sniffle. Turning towards the noise she set down the unfamiliar vegetable in her hand and strided towards him, picking up the pace as redness flooded his face and tears began to fall. "What's wrong? Is this not correct?" She asked, worried. She pulled him into her embrace, surprised when he hugged her back tightly. He let go and let Gamora guide him to sit down. The others joined and looked to him expectantly, thinking they had done something wrong. Peter wiped his tears, sitting up straight, though his breathing still shook. "We did our best, we tried to research all we could and tried to replicate what Terrans would have done." Gamora said. Peter nodded, smiling. Groot pulled gently on his pants leg to get his attention, holding up a messily wrapped rectangular object. He took it, holding back another onslaught of tears. "I just-" he looked at his friends, at a loss for words. "Thank you," his voice cracked "thank you so much." He fidgeted with the present in his hand, looking up towards them, beaming. "Y'know, every year mom would still wake up before me on Christmas to put everything together. Even when I was old enough to not believe in santa or magic she still did it." He sniffled, wiping at his face. "That was magic enough to me- and since I left I hadn't felt the same about Christmas until now." He licked his lips and scrunched up his face, trying not to cry again. "She would have been thankful for all of you doing this."
They smiled, relieved. Peter looked back down at his gift, turning it over in his hand. Without hesitation he picked at the corner of the wrapping, peeling the paper off with excitement. Inside there was a white cassette tape labeled "best of maddonna" in sloppy handwriting. "That was harder to get than I thought it would be" Rocket mused "dude I got it from wanted a ridiculous amount of credits for it. Lucky for me he wasn't an observant guy. You'd think he wouldn't leave something that expensive out on a desk." Peter smiled, thanking him and slipping the tape into his pocket for safe keeping. He stood, taking in his surroundings again. Despite the mess it was awfully sweet and beautiful in its own way. He could feel his face heating up again.
"C'mon now, don't be like that. I thought this was supposed to be a happy holiday." Gamora teased, giving a few playful pokes to his bare side. Peter flinched away, batting at her hand. She gave him a sinister grin. "Hey, don't look at me like that!" Rocket glanced up at her, catching on and cracking his knuckles, following Peter closely as he began to back away. "Drax, please, get them to knock it off?" The human began to raise his hands in defence as he backed up, shuffling around chairs. "No, I believe this is for your own good. What was the saying that went with this celebration? Merry Christmas? You don't seem to be too merry." Despite his nervousness he began to giggle, the sound only bubbling up louder as his back collided with the wall. "I am Groot!" A small voice chimed in. "You too?! Traitor!"
"Drax, hold him down."
Peter shrieked as the larger man ran at him, bringing him to the floor with ease. Before he could protest, his arms were above his head and his friends were hell-bent on making him laugh. And laugh he did.
Gamora straddled his waist, running her nails over his ribs and sides as Peter shook his head wildly and did his best to wiggle away from her reach. She grinned when he snorted at the light scritching at his stomach. Rocket put his claws to good use at his knees, scratching lightly and quickly at the backs making him kick out and yell protests. "Ah!! No, stop! You all suuuhuhuck!!" He whined through his laughter, shrieking when Groot began to wiggle his small fingers into his neck. "I've got an idea" Gamora spoke mischievously. "How many ribs do you Terrans have again? Let me count them." Peter shook his head, beginning to plead before her fingertips collided with the very top ribs right under his arms. "Lets see here; one, two, three-" she counted as her fingers bounced over each bone, digging in lightly as Peter began to cackle. "No no no no no!! Stohahap! Enough!!" He squirmed and bucked, trying to throw her off, neck scrunched trying to block Groot's attempts as well. "Fine, fine, one more thing and we'll stop." She scooted down, hands still scribbling at his sides, lurching forwards and taking a deep breath before blowing a long and strong raspberry right into his tummy. He screamed before fallling back into light giggles, the group letting up and allowing him to recover. "All of you suck." Peter griped between greedy gasps for air. "But-" he sat up, pulling Groot into his arms and standing. "Thats what family is for." He could feel the eye roll that swept through the room, though he didn't regret what he said.
They were family enough to him, after all, they saved him from another blue Christmas.
