I read a hero x villain fic a while back (I can't find it to save my life, otherwise I'd link it, I'm so sorry) where the villain had bat wings and the hero had to wash them bc the villain couldn't reach them, but his wings were horribly ticklish

But because Irep also has bat wings, I can't help but imagine the same scenario with him and Peri

I loved this series, it genuinely freaked me out, which doesn't happen often

I think the only other unfiction/arg/spooky thing that really got me was the Boiled Man (look up at your own risk, there's a lot of religious symbolism and disturbing imagery)

New thing I just found out about that I think is adorable and just so soft

Lee still being really giggly even after the Ler has stopped, like they're still pretty wound up, and the Ler helping them breathe and calm back down

Like it just feels so soft and caring like, "Yes I see that I've made you very giggly and happy, but you're still pretty hyper and I'm going to help you catch your breath and relax because I care about you and your wellbeing," it's just so cute to me

I'm definitely learning which part of the community I'm in lol

Like I've always known I liked it, like art and fanfiction and role play with friends, but as I get older I'm starting to learn like *exactly* what about it I like, and that's definitely the softer, playful, and caring side of the community. Like Ler and Lee trust and love each other (romantic or platonic) and they're using tickling to show each other that they care about them in just such a soft and playful way

This turned into kind of a ramble lol, I've just had such really bad anxiety all night and in turn I started thinking about the above scenario instead bc I think it's cute

I don't have the energy to write a full fic but I still have ideas to share

Younger Ford hunting ghosts with Fiddleford only he can't see them and doesn't know they're there until he feels skittering fingers up and down his ribs, immediately dropping to his knees a fit of giggles, startling Fiddleford. It takes a while for McGucket to chase them off by tossing salt at them (he brought it because he's scared of ghosts)

Years later after Ford's return, he and Stan happen to be in the same area for something when he feels a familiar set of hands skitter down his ribs and squeeze at his sides, and once again he drops to his knees (his legs always give out first) with a shout of "Not agahain!" while clutching his sides

Stan briefly freaks out before he realizes Ford's being tickled, not possessed. Instead of helping like Fiddleford had all those years ago, he just starts giving the ghosts hints on where to strike next, just generally tormenting his brother, who's now on his back and kicking his feet against the ground, laughing helplessly and shouting swears at Stan.

After the ghosts finally let up and Ford's lying there panting, he catches a glimpse of Stan's shit eating grin before saying, "He's just as bad if you get his hips," and now suddenly Stan is stumbling back before he drops, cursing Ford out, trying to play the 'I'm just an old man' card, but nothings working, and now it's Ford's turn to be a menace

I just really like the idea that despite their falling out, despite being separated for 30 years, and despite being in their late 50s they still can't help but be brothers and bother each other

I keep thinking about this scenario over and over and I have for months now, so I think I need to make a thing

Aliens either keeping humans as pets or studying humans, but not in a horror way, in a wholesome way. Like how we view dogs as part of the family, imagine an alien cupping a person's face like "I would start an intergalactic war for you >:( " It's so sweet

The idea of aliens seeing humans as adorable and wanting to care for them just makes my heart so warm??

But on the 'studying humans' side, imagine they're gently prodding into the human's belly and the human starts curling up and squealing out in laughter, but one of the aliens is like "Don't worry, I've actually studied this behavior on earth, myself, and from what I've found, when humans make this sound it means they're comfortable and happy," and so the human just continues to get tickled until they've finished whatever they're studying because they think the human is just playing

It's not until after that the human explains that in this context, the laughter was an involuntary response, and the aliens, who have grown to adore humans, are like "Oh no, were you uncomfortable then??" and now the human has to explain they didn't necessarily mind because they don't want their new alien friends to worry about them

ughghg idk, I'm so soft for human and alien friendships like this

I think it's why my favorite media tends to be stuff like Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Guardians of the Galaxy

So I got curious and did some research to see if anyone in history may have been known for, or recorded an interest in tickling

And it was more common than you might think

While 'Foot Tickler' wasn't necessarily a job or profession, these people were still hired by rich people (Catherine the Great being an example, I actually read that she would sometimes hire 6 at a time) to tickle them, and they apparently were paid very well

Like, if you were rich and you wanted something, you got it

And apparently some people just liked being tickled, but really who can blame them

Can't stop thinking about Alastor's laugh when his tendrils grab Adam out of the air ("Hahaha! Poetry!")

Like that would make such a cute surprised lee laugh, like if someone grabbed at his sides or hips without warning

But it also would be so flustering as a Ler's teasing laugh, like if you tried to make a witty comeback, tried to fight back, or tried to escape only for his shadows to drag you right back to him. "Hahaha! So close!"

just so everyone in this community is aware, if I have interacted with you, and you've interacted with me back, I immediately thought of you as a friend

Maybe it's okay to be just a little delusional as a treat, because I'm convinced I have so many friends even though I'm sure most of these people don't actually know who I am or remember our brief interactions lol

I keep seeing art of Bill completely wrapping Ford up in a bunch of hands or tendrils that's supposed to be suggestive but literally all I can think about is "It would be so easy for Bill to just tickle him like this, he's got like twelve hands on him-"

And it makes me want to write a fic about it

Just found out a big part of why I enjoy tickling

Idk why it took me so long to realize, but laughter apparently is my favorite sound

I think it's so pretty, it's such a nice sound to listen to, it's literally like if joy and love were a noise. It's just pure enjoyment

Even when it's not tickle related, I've always just really enjoyed hearing people laugh. Like if they're laughing at something I said or did, or if they're laughing at something else, hearing other people laugh makes me happy, I just think it's such a lovely sound, it's absolutely beautiful.

What's even better is that everyone's laugh is unique to them, there's *so* many different laughs, people can sound adorable, they can sound pretty, beautiful, goofy, deep and majestic, like there's so many

It's just such a beautiful sound to me, I love hearing people so happy that it causes noise to just burst out because it's so intense that it can't be held back

And I think that's part of why I like tickling so much, it produces my favorite noise, and it's only better when the person laughing is enjoying themselves?? Like they enjoy laughing so much, they enjoy letting go, and they're just so giggly and blushy and trying to curl up out of reflex??
