Timeline

he'd start to consider marriage after a serious relationship hits a little bump and he realises he can't live without her. maybe in his early to mid 30s.

Proposal- 3-6 years of dating

Wedding- within 2 years of proposal 

Kids- 2-3 years of settling into their place, their maybe some moving due to work or family.

Proposal A classic, but personal outing/surprise proposal, it would see very ordinary, he might seem a little off in behaviour, but otherwise its all normal, until he brings you to that special place (not necessarily the place you first met, but the place you wish you could go to but couldn’t)  then he would turn around to face you and suddenly drop… he would think its so cheesy but its actually very tasteful and classy.

Wedding Small, not made public, close family and friends, maybe even the got7 families too, but nothing too big, if he can help it he’ll make sure the company doesn’t make a big deal out of it.

Dutifulness He would be very dutiful around the house, even after the honeymoon period. he would carry on to tidy up, cook when he can, and be the one to suggest taking turns to do the equally hated jobs. 

most cherished moments he'd be busy, so any time together was everything to him, even if it was 2am and your already sleeping, he'd cherish those moments of himself curling upto you in bed. when he wakes up after a few hours sleep and watches over you for as long as possible, before he has to bolt through the house to get to the studio in time, kissing you and the kids as he leaves. 

Arguments They would mostly be about ‘timing’ whether it be related to work, and him not getting free time, or him missing out on the kids life events.

Romance When something has gone terribly wrong, and also when things are going very right and he wants to show his thanks. he would be open to the small things, like the secret kiss in the morning, the little surprise in the fridge, but the bigger the gesture the less frequent it would be. mostly because he doesn’t want to be the cheesy husband but you’ll still get your favourite meal when you least expect it, and surprise outings

Kids/Pets How many 2, maybe 3 kids, plus an army of cats... with the way he's going. he may give his cats to someone for a while when the newborn is in the house for the first time, thats if the post natal centre is strict with not having pets there.

When Cat first but then within 1-3 years will be your first child, then a classic 2 years gap. the main problem would be his work taking him to lots of different places, you may settle in seoul first, but then need to move out of seoul, only when things are stable and a home is established will the talk of kids really start.

Superman factor  He would whenever he can… which isn’t often at home, but when they get past 4 years old, he would bring them to work to play as he partly worked. he would be the one that wakes them in the morning, and make sure they are in bed at the end of the day. the kind of working dad, that the kids dont remember much of in their very early life, but become super proud of because he did work so hard.

Anniversaries  the first one would be the most out of the blue romantic thing in the world! he wouldn't let anything slip, he had to keep it a secret right up until the day. he would do a few small gifts then a bigger evening surprise maybe a long weekend away to jeju-do or busan, because he wants to stroll through the streets and taste all of the amazing sea food there. 

Family-in-law he would try he's hardest to make the best impression in the first few meet ups, because he knows he's going to be busy and maybe miss a few. he helps his mother-in-law cook, no matter how much she told him to go sit down again, he would talk about his job and show his diligent side to your father, he'd treat (bribe) siblings. he'd also make a point of remembering their birthdays, so he could organise gifts to be sent to them every year.

Jinyoung groaned, looking at the young woman sharing the office space with him. “If you don’t stop, I will literally go crazy.”, he warned you.

Surprised, you looked up, not even having noticed your fiddling.

“What do you mean? What did I do?”  

“Your pen. It’s driving me crazy.”  

„Oh.“, mouth hanging slightly open, you gazed from the handsome man opposite you to the pen in your hand and back again, „Sorry.”  

“Just stop, please. I can’t concentrate.”  

“Sorry.”, you mumbled again, placing the pen back onto the desk and beginning to shuffle through some papers. Jinyoung threw you an exasperated gaze.

“What?! If that’s messing with your concentration too, I’m quitting! Next thing I know I’m not even allowed to breathe anymore!”  

“I’m just not used to sharing my office space yet!”  

“And that’s my fault?!”  

“No, but-“  

“Are you guys fighting again?”, an amused voice coming from the door interrupted. Both of you turned around, looking at the intruder who leaned against the doorframe, showing off his white canines with a bright smile. “Jackson!”, you said enthusiastically, smiling at him, “Please take your grumpy husband with you to get some coffee. I think he needs it. Like, a lot.”

Jinyoung huffed. “We are not married.”

“Yes, we are. Come on, honey, let’s go get some coffee and leave the nice young lady alone.”

“You’re supposed to be my best friend, so why you’re always taking her side?!”

You giggled, when Jackson winked at you. “Well, for one - she’s way cuter than you. And second, she is right - you are a grumpy ass.”

You only nodded in confirmation, when Jinyoung threw you another dark look.

“Don’t look at me like this, grandpa. I am cute as hell.”

“Yeah, whatever. I’ll go get some coffee. Do you want some too?”

You looked up in surprise, gazing critically at your senior. “Well, when you ask so nicely - yes, I’d like some coffee too, please.”

Jinyoung smirked. “Then go get it yourself.” And with that, he brushed past Jackson and out of the shared office space.

Your mouth fell open and you looked a bit helplessly at Jackson. “Well, that was unnecessarily rude.”, he commented, staring after his best friend and back at you again. You just sighed. “Why does he hate me so much?”, you murmured under your breath, but Jackson heard it nevertheless. He smiled warmly at you. “He doesn’t, not really. He’s just a bit grumpy because he can’t crack those cases without any extra help. Don’t think too much about it, he’ll come around… Eventually.”

“Mhm, sure. Maybe I’ll quit before that.“, you answered, rolling your eyes.

“You better not! Who else will go out and grab lunch with me, then?”, the handsome man gasped, gazing at you with comically big eyes.

You only raised one eyebrow. “How about any of the other hundred workers in this precinct? You’re friends with all of them.”  

“Well, you are by far my favorite.”  

“I’m sure you say that to all the others, too.”  

Jackson stumbled back, a mock-accusing look on his face. “That hurt!”

You laughed again and waved him away. “Go to your husband now, Jackson. I’ll see you later for lunch.” He blew you a kiss and turned around, leaving you alone in the small office. You sighed again, looking around. You usually liked your field of work - profiling. It had been only a few weeks since you’d gotten this particular job at the precinct, becoming the partner of said grumpy grandpa named Jinyoung, but you generally liked coming to work, all of the other co-workers were more than nice to you. At the moment, Jinyoung and you were hunting a particular nasty serial killer - together with a whole team of other detectives, but you two were in charge of leading the squad -, who didn’t leave any evidences of his doings behind, so it was no wonder your partner was becoming more and more irritated. He probably blamed you for the lack of progress, but it’s not as if profiling was an easy task — it took time, effort and a certain skill. But you trusted your own abilities and knew that - sooner or later - you’d be able to help Jinyoung catch the murderer. 

Well, that was if you didn’t quit before - okay, not really though, like you said, you liked your other co-workers and your job way too much for that. Still, today Jinyoung’s attitude was a bit too much, probably because you were a bit more emotional than usual thanks to your period and lack of sleep.

You sighed again (beginning to feel like a Jane Austen heroine) and looked at the door. Coffee did sound heavenly, but you would definitely wait until Jinyoung was back in the office so you wouldn’t have to run into him in the break room as well. At the start of your new job, you had been more enthusiastic — your partner was just a year older than you, had a soothing voice, a blindingly bright smile and was more than easy on the eyes… But only two days into being partners, his attitude had changed completely: he had become grumpy, withdrawn and always seemed to be sporting a dark scowl. You knew it couldn’t be thanks to you, or at least not only, but hadn’t managed to get the real reason out of Jinyoung — or Jackson, for that matter (though not for lack of trying) . But something had definitely happened — otherwise his radical change in behavior couldn’t be explained. You were determined to find out what happened — one way or another. At the moment, you still hoped Jackson would tell you, even though the chances were more than slim as he was Jinyoung’s best friend.

Another lunch date, another try – “Jackson.”

“No. I know exactly what you want to ask.”

You pouted, taking a sip of your apple juice and trying to look as innocent as possible. “You can’t possibly know that.”

“I do though. You want to ask about Jinyoung.” Jackson grinned at you, skewering another potato onto his fork and pointing at you with it, “I’m right, aren’t I?”

You sighed. “Maybe. I’m sorry, but I can’t help it – I want to know what happened. I’ve only seen the happy Jinyoung for two days, but he was a great partner, a great guy! And now I’m stuck with that grumpy man inside a stuffy office with only you as my shining light in this grey, grey world.”

The handsome man across from you raised one eyebrow. “Don’t try to smother me with compliments, I still won’t tell you anything. Jinyoung is my best friend.”

You sighed again. “Okay, okay… I give up.”, you murmured, shoving some more noodles into your mouth and shooting Jackson a dark look. He simply winked at you, continuing to happily munch on his roasted potatoes.

“By the way, I’m having a game night this weekend, do you wanna come too?”, Jackson asked when lunch was almost over and you were walking towards your offices. You looked up at him, surprise written all over your face. While you liked him and he was kind of your best work-friend, you hadn’t hung out outside of work yet – but you were more than happy he had invited you.

“Oh, I’d love to! Should I bring any games? Or something to drink? To eat?”

Jackson chuckled at your eagerness. “I’ve everything sorted out, so you just have to bring yourself.”

“That I can manage.” You smiled brightly at him and, while stepping into your office, said: “I’m looking forward to it. Thanks for the invitation, Jackson.”

“Anytime.” With that, he winked at you und entered his own office.

You were still in high spirits when Jinyoung came back from his lunch - if he noticed your good mood, he didn’t comment on it. He simply turned on his laptop and continued to ignore you for the rest of the day.

The rest of the week was spent with not so friendly banter between you and Jinyoung, lunches with Jackson and some other co-workers and relaxing evenings at home after exhausting workdays.

The weekend couldn’t have come any sooner in your opinion, even though it was already fully booked: Friday evening was a birthday party of a close friend in some new, fancy hipster bar; Saturday evening was the game night at Jackson’s place and on Sunday evening... well, you were going on a date — the first one in a long time. It wasn’t like you hadn’t been asked out before, but you hadn’t been ready yet. You had just come out of a long relationship, over five years to be exact, and wanted to enjoy the single life for a bit, not even thinking about any men or women.

But that had been over six months ago, now you were finally ready to get back into dating - starting with Johnny, a fun and handsome young man you had met through some mutual friends. You were really looking forward to the date. But for now, you had to get ready for the game night at Jackson’s place.

Dressed in ripped black jeans, a loose-fitting blue blouse and your beloved leather jacket, your made your way towards the subway station. Jackson lived only a few stations away from you, so it didn’t take too long to arrive at his flat. Only seconds after having rung the bell, the smiling face of your favorite co-worker appeared in the opening of the door.

„You’re here!“, he cried dramatically, swinging both arms around you and hugging you tightly.

„I am indeed.“ Your voice sounded slightly muffled thanks to your face being squished against Jackon’s broad chest.

„Well, come inside - God, you're freezing! You do realize it’s almost minus five degrees outside? Why do you still wear your flimsy leather jacket?“, he nagged, pulling you into the warmth of his apartment. You didn’t answer, just rolled your eyes and looked around his flat. It was cozy, painted in warm colors and with a lot of nig-nag standing around - just like you’d always imagined your friend to live. It was inviting and homey, just like himself. Laughter and the clinking of glasses drifted over from what you assumed to be living room. After shedding your jacket and kicking off your shoes, you followed Jackson through the hallway. About seven other people had already arrived, two women and five men - only one of which you already knew, Jinyoung. He looked up when he heard you enter, the bright smile on his face immediately dying.

Wow, so much for a warm welcome, you thought to yourself, letting yourself be led towards the others by Jackson. „Guys, this is Y/N - our new profiler and Jinyoung’s partner. Y/N - this is Mark,“, a handsome man with a stunning smile nodded politely at you, „Yugyeom“, this one looked like the youngest of the bunch, „Youngjae“, his smile was even brighter than the sun, „Jaebum“, a complete adonis winked at you, „Sana“, a stunning beauty with long blond dyed hair waved happily at you, „And Mina.“ The second woman just nodded politely, her hand finding Mark’s, fingers intertwining. „Well and you already know Jinyoung of course. BamBam is late, as always, so you'll probably meet him later. Please, have a seat.“, Jackson said, pulling you with him and seating you between Sana and Jinyoung. 

„So, you’re a profiler.“, Sana immediately opened up the conversation, something you were more than thankful for. You might seem confident and out-going, but being around so many new people you tended to become extremely shy and soft-spoken. „Mhm, that’s right.“, you just answered. 

„And, what it’s like to be Jinyoung’s partner? Is he already annoying you?“ The young woman grinned and you gave the handsome man beside you a side-eye. He was already huffing, arms crossed over his chest.

„No, it’s alright. He can be an ass sometimes, but I kind of get where that’s coming from. It’s though at the moment, you know, with that serial killer still on the loose. A lot of pressure on both of us - or well, on our complete team, actually. But I know we will catch him.“, you finally answered, trying to be as diplomatically as possible. You didn’t see Jinyoung’s surprised but thankful gaze when he looked at you, being too immersed in the conversation with Sana.

The truth was - and Jinyoung would rather bite off his own tongue than admit it - he knew he was being a total douchebag towards you. He couldn’t even say why he was behaving in such a way! At the beginning, he could explain his behavior with the break-up he had been going through at that time. But that had been weeks ago and he hadn’t even been dating Jolene that long. He was definitely long over her, so why was he still so mean to you, his junior, someone he should take care of?

Jackson had already had „the talk“ with him, being immensely displeased with his best friend’s behavior towards his favorite co-worker. And Jinyoung knew he was right. You weren’t the problem - he was. Because, liking it or not, he kind of had a crush on you. Something he tried hard not to acknowledge, even though it was stupid and childish.

At first, he had thought you would try to change partners if he was behaving like this. Which hadn’t worked at all.

Then, he thought you would at least keep your distance from him. Which had... not worked too well. You were a bit more reserved, but still nice towards him, asking him about his weekend on Monday mornings, bringing him a cup of coffee when you got one for yourself, continuing to laugh while bantering with him over stupid things. This week though, your mood had somehow seemed a bit dimmed - maybe his ugly behavior had finally taken a toll on you? If that was the case, he would slap himself. Because by now, he knew that his tactic wasn’t working in the long run. He couldn’t continue like this, trying to avoid you, trying to push you away; that would do no good for your case, your squad and even the whole precinct. 

Also, Jackson had taken a real liking to you - completely platonically though - and was determined to bring you into their circle of friends, today being kind of the „initiating ritual“ for his plan. And you were already getting along greatly with everyone - especially with Yugyeom and Sana it seemed, as all three of you were laughing rather loudly together. By now, you had your second bottle of beer in your hand, taking a long sip and continuing to banter with Yugyeom over which Star Wars movie was the best - you said it was the fourth one while he persisted on it being the third one. 

Jinyoung sighed deeply, nibbling on the chips someone had placed in front of him.

„So, what’s up with the dark look on your face?“, Mark asked, falling down onto the sofa beside his oldest friend.

„Nothing. Just not in the mood for a game night, I guess.“

„Sure. You do realize I know you way too well and know when you lie, right?“ 

Jinyoung rolled his eyes, but his lips twitched. „I’ll tell you another time. Just not today, okay?“ 

Mark shot him a scrutinizing look. „Alright. But I guess it has something to do with Y/N. I saw how your behavior changed the minute she came in. You’re not really subtle, you know?“ He grinned demonically at his friend, before standing up and going over to his girlfriend Mina again. Jinyoung just grunted, standing up as well and fleeing into the kitchen, where Jackson and Jaebum were preparing some more snacks and dips.

„Seriously, you don't notice the difference?“

„No, I actually don’t. Did you even do anything to it?“

„Jackson! I added some extra spice! Don’t you dare tell me you really don’t taste it. Because then you should definitely go to a doctor and get your taste buds looked at!“, Jaebum said, sounding offended. Jackson just chuckled. „I’m sorry, but I’m no cook.“ Suddenly, a soft laugh came from behind Jinyoung and he briefly closed his eyes, inhaling deeply.

„He definitely isn’t. Did you know that I tried his lunch one time when he brought his own? All I’m going to say is that I was more than glad to have already written down my will.“, you said teasingly, entering the kitchen and coming to a stop beside Jinyoung. Jaebum laughed, beaming at you - oh my, he honestly had one of the most beautiful smiles you’d ever seen. „Okay, then you have a taste, please. I think I’ll trust your judgement a lot more than Jackson’s.“, he said with a pleading undertone.

„On it.“ With that, you stepped around Jinyoung, not even sparing him a look, and took the spoon out of Jaebum’s hand, tasting the hummus. „Mhm, it’s really good. But I think it could use a bit of lemon juice, don’t you think?“, you suggested after smacking your lips together.

„Ahh! Yes, that’s a brilliant idea!“, Jaebum answered enthusiastically, already opening the refrigerator and poking his head inside.

„Okay… I think we should just leave you two to it, then. I don’t think I can be of any help and Jinyoung’s nearly as hopeless as I am in the kitchen.“, Jackson said brightly, already grabbing his friend’s arm, who was still gazing at Jaebum and you. You looked up and shot Jinyoung a shy glance. „Oh, really?“

He cleared his throat. „Uh, well… I’m not completely clueless. But I do have to admit that I might lack certain... skills in the kitchen.“, he admitted bashfully and you grinned.

„Consider me warned. I’ll never taste your lunch.“

„As if he would ever let you. You can be glad he’s allowing you to breathe in your shared office space.“, Jackson joked, but you only shrugged. „I’ve been getting used to it, actually. As soon as you learn to ignore his snide remarks, it's not that bad. Oh and his dark looks of course. Also, no forgetting his sublime ability to change any happy or comfortable atmosphere in a mere second.“

Jinyoung’s mouth fell open, shock written all over his face. Had he really been that bad?

Jackson laughed and you grinned at the expression on your senior’s face, not being able to suppress the feeling of slight smugness rising inside you.

„I… will try to behave in the future. And become a better partner.“, Jinyoung finally answered, making you as well as Jackson gape at him in silent shock.

Looking a bit uncomfortable due to the prolonging silence, Jinyoung cleared his throat, fidgeting with the beer bottle in his hand. „What?“, he finally asked, a bit defensively.

„… can I get that written down? Or on tape?“, you finally answered, but you smiled brightly at him. He couldn’t help but grin back. „No. You’ll just have to trust my word.“

„Never a good idea, to be honest. Also, I think he’s drunk.“, Jackson stage-whispered to you. Jinyoung looked slightly offended. „I most certainly am not!“

„He really isn’t. Exhibit A: the tips of his ears are not flushed. Exhibit B: he hasn’t begun to sing ABBA songs yet. Exhibit C: his shirt is still on.“, Jaebum chimed into the conversation, holding the finished bowl of hummus’ in his hands, grinning cheekily at his younger friend. „Hey! I - am not sure if I should thank or smack you.“, Jinyoung said, blushing slightly while you began to giggle.

„ABBA songs? Oh, I definitely need to hear that. I’m also not opposed to seeing you without a shirt.“ You smirked and winked at your senior who seemed to be at a total loss for words, while Jackson and Jaebum began to laugh uncontrollably. „Okay, what the hell is taking you guys so long? I was promised some hummus ages ago!“, Sana said, coming into the kitchen as well, „And what the hell is so hilarious that you guys are laughing so hard?!“

That evening was the beginning of something you’d later call “the ultimate change” - because Jinyoung actually kept his word and tried to behave himself. The atmosphere became lighter again and you were happier than ever to come to work every day. Jinyoung also noticed what an amazing team you both made when you were only bantering in a good humored way.

One day - during lunch with you and Jackson -, he realized he really really liked you, smiling while watching you joke around with Jackson, laughing. He loved your loud and hearty laugh; one where everyone immediately wanted to join in. He loved that you were so easy-going, laid-back and good humored, even though you didn’t take shit from anyone, not from your seniors and not even your boss. You were also highly intelligent and managed to zone out completely when focused on something - this, Jinyoung could relate to wholeheartedly. It soon became a weekly incident that you and Jinyoung spent long nights beside each other in your shared office space, trying to solve the case of the mysterious serial killer still stalking the city, not caring in the slightest about normal office hours. Thanks to that, you could finally record some progress, something you had proudly presented during the last team meeting. All in all -   life was good for you both.

It was another long night at the office and you were feeling exhausted. You knew about the dark circles under your eyes and the dull hair you were sporting. Your eyes were getting heavier with every passing second and even the tenth cup of coffee wasn’t able to keep the tiredness at bay – but still, you stayed, as you had the feeling to be close to a new breaking point. 

Jinyoung, who sat directely opposite you, was still working too, but not a single hair seemed out of place and his face still looked fresh and bright. You huffed at his handsomeness, earing yourself a questioning look from your senior. You quickly lowered  your eyes, trying to focus on the crime scene pictures in front of you.

“You look tired.”, Jinyoung remarked after observing you for a few seconds.

“Mhmm.”, was the only answer he got from you, apparently too absorbed into the pictures you were analyzing at the moment.

“You should go home, get a good night of sleep - and take shower.”

“Are you suggesting I smell?” You locked eyes with him, raising one eyebrow in a silent challenge.

He grinned. “Maybe.”

“Not everyone can look as handsome as you all the time, oh dear Adonis.”, you replied, rolling your eyes at him. The tiny smile playing around your lips betrayed your seriousness though.

Jinyoung just laughed. “I’m just worried about my junior, that’s all. Don’t you have a private life waiting for you at home? A boyfriend? A girlfriend? Ten cats? A dog?”

“Sadly, neither. Just my books and a cup of tea, if I’m being honest.”, you shrugged and yawned. The date with Johnny had been nice, but you had quickly noticed that there was no spark between you. So, that had been it - you had decided to concentrate on your case and leave the dating life for the time being. You sighed and streched both arms above your head, rolling your neck until it cracked.

Jinyoung flinched at the noise. “That does not sound healthy.”

“Eating your tenth cup of Ramen in less than a week isn’t healthy too and yet you don’t hear me say anything about it.”, you shot back.

He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest and pointedly not looking at you. “It’s not like it have someone to cook for me or teach me how to cook.”, he finally murmured, beginning to type somewhat aggressivly on his keyboard.

“No girlfriend, no boyfriend, no ten cats, no dogs?”, you repeated, making him laugh.

“Nope. I’m probably too much of a workaholic for all that.”

“Relatable. I don’t think any man or woman would like me working those long hours voluntarily. I’d need a partner who has the same crazy work-drive as myself.”

Jinyoung looked up, heart pounding against his rib cage. You were still focusing on your computer screen, your silver wired glasses pearched on the bridge of your nose.

“Yeah, but where do you find those? Is there an app for that? Like a tinder for workaholics?”

You giggled. “Well, there should be! And you should be able to put in a preference of work hours, so you can find a partner with the same shifts.”

“That’s actually an awesome idea! And the slogan should be 'We'll help you find the perfect work-love balance’.”

You both laughed at that until you finally shook your head. “Jesus Christ, I think it’s definitely time for us to head home if we're coming up with such stupid ideas. I really can’t concentrate anymore.”

With that, you shut off your computer, glancing at your watch. “What?! It’s almost half past two?! Damn it, I think I just missed my last bus.”, you whined, slapping your own forehead in frustration.

Jinyoung looked at the clock as well. “Oh wow, I didn’t realize it was that late. I can drive you home, no worries.”

You looked up, surprise written all over your face. “Really? You don’t even know where I live. Maybe it’s in the exact opposite direction of your home.”

Jinyoung shrugged. “I don’t care, I’ll drive you either way.” With that, he shut off his computer as well, grabbing his jacket and grinning at you, who still looked a bit stunned at his offer.

“Well... Thanks. I’ll buy you lunch tomorrow.”

“No need for that. We’re friends, aren’t we?”

You smiled softly at the taller man, shrugging on your jacket as well. “That we are indeed.”

Jinyoung smiled a bit sadly. One day, he hoped, you could be more than just friends.

Not now though - now, you still had a serial killer to catch.

And maybe, after finally solving this case, he would have the courage to ask you out.

       Thank goodness the dark curtains provided with the dormitory shuts the sunlight out from blinding the heck out of your slumber. You adored waking up being completely wrapped with puffy blankets laying softly over the pillows and judging from the silence around you, your roommate must’ve left for work. It all a dream; the last things you remember from that night terror had been your loved ones going missing, getting mysteriously threatened with notes, and the paranoia that stayed behind waking up. Once fear eased down out your stomach, you don’t hear noise come around outside the walls, meaning you are home alone. Being home alone weekend mornings gives the opportunity to do whatever you want and the idea has you excited. Your roommate must’ve gained enough energy after finishing her late night shift and decided cleaning the entire house while you were sleeping, leaving everything looking spotless with the exception of some dirty dishes.  You blindly turned the television on before walking straight toward the small kitchen preparing breakfast. Without watching the screen, the news anchormen discuss over the most recent morning topics.  

 “Our Country Police Department have track down several drug victims using the brand new strategy called “Operation Hammer”. Both Police and the FBI are using Battering Ram Tanks to tear down houses that has been accused of drug possession in order to stop this devastatingly fast growing rate of crack, cocaine and marijuana. Last night, three houses have been demolished and only one containing bags of what looks like cocaine within every wall, beds, the floor and even the inclusion of illegal weapons.” One female reporter said from the screen.

  “All four owners were arrested with one currently in the hospital due to spinal damage from getting rammed.”  

 You sink down the chair eating your prepared breakfast in front the T.V. displaying the hood streets where police search half demolished homes surrounded with victims dressed in their bathrobes and pajamas, holding children much younger than six years old. One interviewed woman describes her perspective how she was sleeping next to her husband and grand baby, next thing she knew the sounds of big wheels draw closer and closer until suddenly they are left with half a home. A majority of victims face mistaken identity and now shockingly the victims are put with blame. Unfortunately half the victims become unjustified and lose their own case against the police especially when somebody gotten seriously injured and it was so obviously clear the police are at fault.

 “We were scared and it’s just horrible because those kids were in these houses, they could’ve been killed.”

   You stiffen your vision toward the screen that showed police exiting the torn house with little to no expression on them, including the President’s wife escorted by them . Four actual drug abusers are imprisoned and rehabilitate while nothing else will be known about the mistaken victims roaming around the front yard wearily, hugging wailing children. Wondering helplessly what’s gonna happen to them and where they’re going to stay, how their children can get dressed now that their uniforms are covered with dust. You fold your arms across your chest while exhale heavily, shaking you head. Damn was the most you thought to yourself as the reporters moved on to the following morning topic. All scenes similar are the first and last time the victims will be heard from. It was like the justice supreme liked thinking themselves as if their job was all a game of messed up chess, considering themselves as Kings, Queens and Bishops and Knights trying to eliminate pawns that never moved

Many cops knew how their job should be done and how suspects should be treated firstly during interrogation. Others who did whatever they wanted assault on the innocent or for just for any other senseless reason.

  Once breakfast was over you cleaned yourself and dressed into simple shirt and pants, not really having desires to go anywhere today since your roommate left and later tonight you are going out with a date that you haven’t had in forever. Men during junior and high school approached you confessed their past feelings and admitted they were afraid that there was something more grew with your feelings towards Yugyeom.  Your thumb presses the delete contact button under Yugyeom’s contact that now was useless for keeping old messages and dated back call logs. You would stand in the middle of the living room, gripping the phone with your fingers, and planting your feet down facing the door, not wanting to move.

“I can’t date anybody cause they feel jealous of you.” 

You grip the steering wheel with both hands on opposite direction, attempting jokes but at the same time being serious toward Yugyeom who keeps eating his boxed food. 

“It’s not that their jealous, your lovers are afraid about what will happen if they make you cry.” He says, bringing the forkful food to his mouth. “Plus they don’t need to worry about us together.”

He picks something stuck in his teeth as you stare at the red dot over your heads. And you purse your lips together breathing through your nostrils. “Yugyeom, do you think someday we’ll stop being best friends?” You ask.

Yugyeom stares onto the side of your face, wide eyed. “How can you think that?”

  “I mean once we’re married, our partners wouldn’t favor friends like us hanging out as much as we do. Even if we bring our time together to a minimum, I’ll be worried your future wife won’t accept me.”

  Your fingers fall down the steering wheel as your heart twists in your chest. Remembering folded surprise notes hidden in your bag. Every note had malicious comments demanding you to find a new best friend. One day returning from being sick, Yugyeom found a paper tack in your change of shoes with the needle facing up the air. You were shocked knowing how someone could do such things to you just because you were close friends with a male this person has a crush on. He grabs your shoulder, rubbing his hand over and you turn your eyes toward Yugyeom.

“Y/N, if our future spouses don’t want to spend time together then they might as well have each other. There’s no healthy relationship if there isn’t any trust.”

Trust was Yugyeom’s best traits, and his trust sometimes amazed you. He never shared secrets and he never let anyone down. Anytime you needed help finishing an essay, he’d help you with research and anytime you thought you would get grounded for something you knew was wrong.

 “Trust me, no matter what happens I promise we’ll be friends forever. You’re like my sister, if anybody breaks your heart, they better pray for themself.” He says getting an amused scoff from you in response. That promise was sealed with a handshake and hug  Yugyeom would cover for you. All that Yugyeom has done for you, you would do for him. One day there would be knocking coming from the door and his figure outline visible from the otherside, waiting for you to open. You press the cancel option below the delete contact option. Yugyeom should’ve been deleted but you just never had the heart to, like removing him from your life.

   His contact still under your thumb following the call button, keeping your thumb hovered and moving back and forth, staring. You waited something from him like a call saying he’s okay, if his family’s okay. You been urging to dial him for so long, without realizing your fingers fumble over the screen, feeling the phone vibrate, just thinking purely about Yugyeom. “Hello?”

“Hey Y/N, how are ya?” Your boss called, “Say can you come in a little early today?”

He asks you to cover some coworker’s daylight shift. A quiet moan immersed deep down the bottom of your throat just so your boss could not hear- you were just enjoying the morning all to yourself. You had not stayed at home for countless weeks and dearly missed for lounging before you went out. But your boss was such a sweetheart and fun person.

“Thank you. Have a wonderful day.” Your shift comes closer towards the end.

 Upon your arrival he instantly greets and thanks you making your face grow red overhearing his compliments. So far things run smoothly without being too busy, customers seemed to be in a good mood. Half the customers telling you how pretty your smile is and some new coworkers asking advice how to become a better employee. You knew since today is a good day, your date tonight might succeed.

 You greeted and smiled every single customer while wiping tables and chairs. Good thing arriving early provided being released early, giving you enough time to shower, get dressed, redo your hair and apply make up on yourself. The sky blended baby and mid-dark blue turning into one of the most beautiful sapphire blues you had ever seen.

 Probably because he wore a jacket of the same color. His car that you rode was painted the same color. Maybe because you thought the color suits him best. Maybe the color has nothing to do with remembering Yugyeom. Maybe it was the customer sitting down on the patio with a familiar back profile. Whoever the person really was, you can’t help try examining.

 The shoulders were wider by two inches comparing yours, his bowl-cut hair was fluffy and a single loop earring and although the legs are bent and covered with loose jeans, they look swollen. Yugyeom’s legs were slim the last time he was seen. You realize you’re several steps closer toward the customer trying usual questions you ask customers eating at the restaurant and a small part trying to find out the person is Yugyeom.

“We can’t go to Haeundae this year.”

Yugyeom said and you adjust the phone over your ear.  “What,how come?”  

 Before, Yugyeom’s disappearance talked about visiting some relatives. For six summer vacations, Yugyeom’s parents always invited you on a road trip to swim at Haeundae Beach usually lasting two weeks on vacation as long as your parents agreed- and they obviously would.

 Now, his parents grew worried and more wary about safety since that drive-by assassination that happened before your eyes. Crime like such seemed incredibly rare happening in such an innocent neighborhood that’s becoming more alert. Since that elder woman mentioned her nearing death, familiar street names appeared on evening news. Reported kidnapping, folks never returning home, and hit and runs. More parents cautiously watched their children and the dog population grew rapidly.

“How long will you be away?”

Yugyeom sounded really gloomy through the speaker, he sounded like he was crying. “I don’t know.”

He tells you grab a pen and napkin and write down a new phone number. He inhales deeply, making sure that you can’t suspect him tearing up but his voice croaked.

   Why is he suddenly getting sentimental ?

“Trust me, everything will be okay. I love and will miss you, loser.” His relieved huff released one out through you, assuring he’ll be okay. He promises that you’d be friends forever.

  “Y/N come on, you gotta clock out.” Your boss waves his hand forward and you gather leftover plates before heading inside the building without even looking back the drive-thru lane and drove all the way home to make in time for your date.

  Nobody could oppose how wearing black looked wonderfully on others. You owned a dozen black dresses and the target aim tonight was another most favorite dress with lace elbow sleeves with soft black percale fabric outlining your figure. You wore over overall natural makeup with brown matte lipgloss and your hair framing your jaw structure. Since today was great so far this date was going really good too. Your date became the center of attention for the night without trying.

  He was cute especially wearing red polo shirt that exposes his chest through glimpses each time he moved while turning his head toward the waiter. Once the conversation passed the usual introduction and profile you went ahead on ordering drinks.

Jinyoung is the first time having a date with after a long period and he was being a gentleman from the start, pulling out the chair, gifting lavenders between you and hasn’t stopped complimenting you. As hours passed Jinyoung’s eyes trot over head down your arms. Your sensual voice flowing pleasantly through his ears and asking to hear your giggle again. His knuckles press into his cheek squishing his eye. He was admiring you with his half smile once you raised your head and smiled shyly. “Yes?”

“You just look beautiful.” Jinyoung responds. He unfolds his fist, flattening his hand against his cheek.

“How can someone like you be single for so long?”

 Heat rushes up your cheeks quickly as your eyelids fall and you curl strands of hair. It was better keeping that question unanswered, not because that’s the ‘date thing’ also because the past men who shared interest always ended. You were just sick over the lacking trust and jealousy living through the relationship with whoever.

The waiter brought two glasses of iced teas, sweetened for you and unsweet for Jinyoung. After ordering appetizers, you excuse yourself to use the washroom. Jinyoung nods, watching you rise until you disappear around the corner. A smile plasters your face with heated cheek buds until someone dressed entirely in denim, wearing a black ski mask exits the men’s room. That person pauses in his tracks and zipps quickly away as you look back behind him entering the restroom. Water droplets float over little frizzy parts of your hair. While silently hoping that this night continues going good, the phone screen brightens with a new message.

[From] Unknown:

         Do not drink the tea.

Your brows knit upward your forehead and you immediately frown. Such a strange message especially from an unknown number. You thought to yourself, “The fu-?”

But the message mentions the beverages you and Jinyoung ordered, how the hell did Unknown number know that the drinks were teas?

Your thumbs begin punching over the keyboard and then another message appears.

[From] Unknown:

          Please do not drink the tea.

  Water drips from the faucet and all you do is reread the two messages saying the same thing. Maybe these messages really are for you, but how does this person know what you’re drinking. Also why. Who is this person texting you, how did they know your number? Are they sitting somewhere in the same restaurant, they had to to know where you are this evening.

So does that mean you’re being followed?

The bathroom door opens again another woman entering as you turn the screen off. You still are fazed the same way you felt earlier in the morning, unable how to think nor when to move. Jinyoung already waited waited more than five minutes, probably, and the food already served without you. Could he be the one warning you about the drink? He did have your number first and knew you were drinking tea and he is sitting in the same restaurant with you.

You throw a bit more water onto your hair streaming down your temples past your ears, taking a deep breath. This whole day was going fine, you think to yourself, everything will be okay hopefully. You excuse yourself to Jinyoung sitting back down.

“Are you okay?” He asked.

 You nodded, trying to wear off loads of paranoia heaved upon your mind and shoulders.

  “Yes, I’m fine. Let’s eat.”

Jinyoung talked about his interests of gothic architecture and popular narrow alley staircases like one called El Callejon De Beso. It interested him because supposedly when couples kiss standing on the red stone where one lovers blood stained, their love would last eternally. Another thing was discovered about your date when he kept cracking wise jokes-and each made you laugh.

  Several more minutes passed talking between eating and Jinyoung drinking between eating. As much as you desired washing food down with something, you didn’t grab for the tea for anything. Those anonymous warning just wouldn’t stop whirling behind your skull, debating if ordering another drink was better. The waiter still hasn’t walked by the table to check nor offer refills yet, not even offering refills for water. Your parents have said when you were younger when you were watching the movies with them where there was a bar scene. When that ended, they told you buy your own drink never let other people buy them however they were alcoholic, something your taste buds cannot stand. Alcoholic drinks tastes super heavy and super light yet all that can taste is the burning liquid, even when their drinks fused with fruit flavors that dissolving sedates have no flavor. Emptiness fills you wholly, glancing at corners all around, suddenly losing interest doing anything and movement in your limbs and your eyes are alert. You could’ve responded with wrong number or just simply turn the phone off, but the pleading from the last message really sounded genuine.

You fling your sight back on Jinyoung gently holding your hand and watching you with concerned eyes. Now that you realized, you hardly remember anything that the conversation was about. You don’t even know if you have said anything, now making you seem rude.

“Are you alright Y/N?”

Jinyoung furrows his brows onto his forehead, changing his frown into a tiny smile that brings another similar from you as deep sighs huff from your nose. Other things occupied the mind too much that attention was taken away and you shook your head and saying that you were okay now. Your dress pocket vibrates against your thigh, most likely another message from the unknown number again, however your mind was elsewhere. Jinyoung lowers his brows relaxed and revealing teeth soon as you envelope touched fingers, using nervousness for makeup paranoia and worry.

“Everything’s fine, this has been a first for me this evening.”

Jinyoung pouts, “Mine too.”

His light chuckle follows afterward slowly releasing your hand, taking gulps of tea where his adams apple bobs up and down.

Yugyeom intensely watches his Lord use the other hand for counting the stash bill by bill. His legs tremble from the knees down for his life since the morning from jumping rooftops and smashing windows and from what his lord would say about his short payment. Drug Dealers have similar tasks like every job that makes the sale and receive money which leaves with their boss and in return the ones who succeeded earn minimum wage. Except for dealeing payments are secretive usually exchanged behind the corner store or beside the closest bridge. Sometimes when sales end in fail, the fault was on the customer or the salesperson.

“You did good this time Kim, running away out that dope house that got fucked up. Even if you got caught, that doesn’t mean much shit to me because they got away without paying again.”

He tapped the stash on the table and Yugyeom looks over his shoulders, peering his eyes making them open slits on his face. “Next time, we’ll take care of those people after paying the little strawberry a visit.”

“Anything in it for me?” Yugyeom asked.

Yugyeom never turned short money for his lord because he knew simple ways getting the money. He remembers how cold the device felt in his palms and how far away the paper hung from the other side of the room. In movies and tv shows, actors made things look simple however entertainment intends for scenes to look realistic. Yugyeom stared at the wall and pointed in the same direction the people around him were whining and raising their voices. Calling him too ‘sissy’ to even turn the safety gear off until the material gets snatched from him. He remembers shuttering to the banging sounds inches away from him.

The Lord calls after him. “Hey Yugyeom!”

The sounds of glass breaking startle Yugyeom for the first time in forever. For the first time in forever Yugyeom feels worried as he straps the gun beneath his belt.

 “Shit, she drank it!”

The night brings, naturally, silence with it. The night’s silence makes the sounds that are usually muffled by every day’s noises come to life. When the night comes, all the little sounds grow louder. The night brings, naturally, darkness with it. The night’s darkness shuts down their brains, allowing their hearts to come to life. The walls that they put up around them every day come down and they’re not afraid to feel, to love, to trust blindly.

Slowly pulling a hand from under the covers, Youngjae lightly traces Jaebum’s cheek with the tip of his fingers. He hears his breathing getting a little faster, he feels a trail of goosebumps blooming under his fingertips. What they love the most about the night is that they’re together – they don’t even have to hear or see each other to know that.

“Are you still awake?” Youngjae whispers.

Jaebum breathes out softly, “Yeah. Can’t get this thought out of my head.”

“What is it?”

Jaebum pulls their bodies even closer. There’s no space between them. One of Youngjae’s hands crawls under Jaebum’s T-shirt, resting on his lower back, Jaebum slots one of his legs between Youngjae’s. Their foreheads are resting against each other’s, they are breathing in each other’s breaths.

“Marry me.”

“I’d love to. More than anything,” Youngjae heaves a sigh, “but you know that we can’t.”

“Marriage is a bond established between two people. Everything else is just rituals imposed by the society. I want to marry you because I love you. I don’t need people to be present to acknowledge it. I don’t need to write my name on a paper to express my desire in wanting to live my life alongside you. We don’t need rings on our fingers to let the world know that we belong together. We just need each other… I just need you. So, do you take me as your husband?”

Youngjae pecks Jaebum’s lips one, two, three times, before he deepens the touch of their lips and they share a slow kiss.

He pulls back just enough to whisper, “I do,” he kisses him again, “I do. And you? Do you take me as your husband?”

“I do. Of course I do.”

Tonight, they don’t want silence. They loudly fill the bedroom with the sound of their moans and gasps mingling together, with the sound of their hearts beating together as one. Tonight, they don’t need light. In absolute darkness, their hands and lips are more than familiar with each other’s bodies, satisfying even the faintest of the pleas.

Tonight is a night that they will never forget. The moonlight dances across their naked skins, the stars shine brighter just for them. The world stops just for the two of them. Tonight it’s just Jaebum and Youngjae, no one else.

Yugyeom Ledbury was born into relatively normal, upper middleclass Minsitry working parents, Yuju and Junsu Ledbury, and grew up in Dunkerswell with his older brother. 

Yugyeom was born with a tuff of pitch black hair on the very top of his head, and until the age of six, it had stayed that colour. However, over the years, Yugyeom's hair has turned into a fairly light brown shade instead, resembling his mother's more than his father's natural hair colour. Throughout his entire school life, Yugyeom never styles his hair except for one occassion. He normally wears long bangs that almost cover his eyes. His eyes are a deep brown much like his mother's. Yugyeom is of Canadian and Asian descent however both sides of his family have resided in the UK for at least two generations, and therefore does not know much of his heritage. Yugyeom's style has very much been influenced by his father who is known around he Ministry as a very fashionable man. It is of this reason Yugyeom often wears monochromatic outfits with the occasional blockbuster pattern to switch things up. He's been dressed this way by his father practically since birth. In school, however, he is quite inconsistent with his uniform. He's sometimes messy when he's running late, and other days he likes to be a bit fancier. However, he is almost never seen wearing his school robes. Yugyeom's always been a bit of a timid personality. He doesn't speak much but rather expresses things using his body - whether it be in sports, affection, reactions or in fashion, all is accurate. Yugyeom is notorious for being shy around people he doesn't know, and it is only through his brother he's able to make his first friends, and then through his friends he's able to make more friends. As a Gryffindor, Yugyeom isn't the stereotypical loud personality everyone associates with the house, but he is incredibly brave. He will never back down from a challege, and his eyes flare up when he's tasked to do something. His moral compass is also respectable, to which he has his father to thank for, and works incredibly hard to maintain those moral rules. Timeline we already know he's expecting to be married by the time he's 35, and that leave around 10years to fill in. he's already thinking about it, but is waiting for the right person and timing. it may start to become serious around 29/30.

Proposal- 3-5 years of dating

Wedding- within 2 years of proposal 

Kids- 1-2 years of marriage, ideally he'd like to start a family right away.

Proposal Very sentimental, with it planned out weeks in advance. he would make the day obviously special, with not apparent reason, but then at the end of a very long day he would propose then end the day with dessert and a cosy night together. He would be nervous but bold when proposing, and stay knelt down until you got over your shock and finally answer him.

Wedding its not made public, and he’d have no intention of making it too big, but with family and friends it ends up being more than your thought. Also there would be the question of if you have a wedding in korea or america, it would more likely be in america, and this also means that you might end up having two or more ceremonies, a korean modern, an american style, and any other depending on the otherhalf’s background.

Family-in-law he's all about those family outings with everyone to the park. a relaxed visit with the whole family, no super important celebration but rather the everyday stuff. he likes to remember those, because they're the family memories he wants his kids to remember, that sunny day where they played with their dad, and ate mums and grandmas amazing picnic then fell asleep in the car whilst granddad talked about milk costing much less back in the day.

Timeline thoughts of dating, and dating seriously have crept into his mind, but its not something he's taking to seriously just yet. being a young family isn't the only though he's having, knowing how active he is, and will be he knows that having a later family will be fine by him. it may start to become a serious though around his 30s.

Proposal- 2-5 years of dating Wedding- within 1-2 years of proposal Kids- 1-2 years of marriage, ideally he’d like to start a family right away.

Proposal a big themed proposal, with a few people involved, as in he would have the people your close with helping and then celebrating at the end, like those song proposals, where friends surprise her with 100 roses and then there he stands. it would take a while to plan, with everyone having their part. he would pick 2-4 things that you love and make the proposal around that, your fave song, food, flowers etc. 

Wedding very elegant, big, with everyone he can think of, he might make it public if your ok with it. there would be a tiered cake with 4+ tiers, everything in cream/gold with your favourite flowers on every table. He would be apart of every step making sure you had something special in all parts of your wedding, and he would match to you. It would probably be in china for family convenience, but there might be multiple smaller ceremonies.

Dutifulness He would try to do as much as possible…maybe try cooking but you both know he shouldn’t. he would hate seeing you bogged down by all the house work and would help you, but he wouldn’t think to do it off the top of his head, he’d need a little reminding, or it would have to be the thing that is his responsible for.

Timeline he's so into his work, and expanding into as much as possible that its not really crossed his mind much so far. but he's aware that with being and idol its harder with die hard fans, but the more he gets into acting, the more attainable a family life seems to him. acting has a longer shelf life than being an idol, and knows this is how he's going to provide for his family. so he could start later if he wanted early to mid 30s

Proposal- 4+ years of dating Wedding- within 1+ years of proposal (if theres time he doesn't mind when) Kids- 1-2 years of marriage,if theres enough stability job wise.

Proposal something very sweet and sentimental, maybe a very big event if you’re ok with it, and oh so emotional! he would involve the members, and if he needed more people it would be random people to make you confused with whats going on. it would have music. maybe where he’s coming back from tour, but he’s had this planned for ages, and as he walks to you your already a crying mess. when it comes to him getting down on one knee, suddenly the people are gone and its all private

Timeline not fixed plan in his mind, whether to be a young family or not, he's more focused on working and finishing his studies.if anything it would probably be around his late 20s where he really starts to get things moving.

Proposal it would be very cute and dancey whether it would be during practice or more public with a flash mob, it will be a random surprise. He would be good at keeping it a surprise because it would seem like another day because he dances 24/7 anyway. 

Wedding medium sized with a cute/sweet and bright venue. it probably won’t be made public. it would be friends and family and the got7 families too. the cake would be fairly classic with a cute personal twist.

Dutifulness He would do what he can, definitely look after his own things, but the other things would be a mix between helping and putting them in the very wrong place. he would be the one that would help with dishes and picking up the kids.

most cherished moments when he sees you doing something super cute, but your not actually doing anything cute, its just the way you are, and he finds it adorable. he's just suddenly struck by it, whilst he's just randomly staring at you, which he does often.

Timeline he's all about dating, but something serious is a little whiles away, but theres nothing to say that he's long term gf, wouldn't be his wife. he's so focused on expanding his name/brand and working hard tha he hasn't put much thought into his future family. a rough ball park age would be around late 20s to early 30s

Proposal all the extra he can think of, it would involve friends and family. it would still be very romantic, based on your first date. he would organise a giant surprise where everyone has something to do, or at least witness. if theres some kind of performance then there will be a goofy factor, but honestly thats why you love him and its actually adorable. of course he’s decked out in the best suit as he walks out to you with a giant bouquet of flowers and a song that just melts your heart!

Timeline there isn’t much serious thought about it at the moment, he’s letting things come along when they do. preferable he’d like to get things sorted by the time he’s in his 30s he’s not too concerned with being an older family, he just wants the right time to be there, were he’s not too busy with work.

Wedding a soft, pastel, summer outdoors wedding maybe in jeju-do, with a flower canopy. the wedding would not be made public, it would be rather small friends and family. the cake would be simple and clean cut. he would tell you what he definitely wants in the wedding, but the rest is slowly put together by bouncing ideas off each other, and of course theres a beach after party.

Dutifulness He would try his hardest to do what needs to be done, but you’ll still find clothes on the floor and random pieces of sheet music around the place. he would be very dutiful over his little puppy and kids, its just when it comes to himself he doesn’t quite practice what he preaches. Anything you ask of him, he will do, unless he forgets because you told him in the morning, but otherwise he’s not too bad with it.

most cherished moments it has to be when his music and you come together, whether it be when you inspire him to write something, or just when he hears it and your there, looking more and more angelic, and he can’t help but stare. 

Arguments hardly ever an argument, there would be concerns and discussion but noting would get as far as an argument. the worst situation may be his bizarre work hours, and how sometimes the kids may see him more on tv than in real life, but at that point he would have a family trip or take the kids to work.

Romance those small sweet surprises, like hearing him playing piano as you wake up, cute notes on the bathroom mirror when he leaves early, it can happen for no reason other than him just wanting to see you smile, especially if you’d had a few stressful days. he’d be surprisingly in tune with your moods so he knows just how to make you smile. sometimes its dinner out, random flowers, or even just a cuddle on the couch as you watch movies.

Kids/Pets How many 2 maybe 3, and of course theres a dog of some sort. a simple, down to earth but active family. 

When Maybe a year or two after the wedding, he’d want to get used to the living and working, then once work and everything is calm then he’d think about having kids.

Superman factor He would be great at playing with them but when it come to discipline he would struggle a bit, he would find it hard to say no, he would get better as the requests get more outrageous, but puppy dog eyes still work on him. But the main issue is the amount of noise when all the kids and Youngjae are playing.

Anniversaries he’s normally not to bad with remembering things, he’ll have reminders and everything, and they normally work great. its just when he’s busy, he gets tunnel visioned and can’t focus on anything outside of the studio. the kids birthday he never forgets not matter what. other things, though they’re not less important to him, its just hard to prep and gift for, thinking about that makes him want get his work done so he can spend time thinking about it, then looses himself. he’s all about gifts that have a small little meaning to them, like his rings that are inscribed. 

Family-in-law if he’s going to show off anything, its going to be how great he is at looking after his kids and how well he does it. he doesn’t want them thinking, just because he works a lot that he doesn’t care about them. he’s the fun dad, and the playful uncle all the kids go to at family gatherings
