poe dameron relationship alphabet

requested by....me, bitch. has one very minor reference to adult themes.

a - actions. what sort of things do they do to show they love their s.o?

poe is all about physical touch. not just the bog standard hugging and kissing, but small, intimate actions. he likes holding your hand under the table at breakfast and during meetings, and he’ll keep one on the small of your back as you walk through the corridors of the resistance base. at night, the bare minimum for poe is tangling your fingers together - but most the time, he’s gonna basically sleep on top of you.

b - beginnings. how did the relationship begin? how has it changed?

in the beginning, poe would have been acting solely on his physical attraction to you - i’m talking flirty comments, winking at you across the room and doing everything within his power to try and romance you into going on a date with him (whilst still absolutely respecting your boundaries, of course). once he realises your personality, the man is tripping and fucking falling for you - so nothing about his attraction to you changes. it just gets deeper, and your connection becomes stronger. he still likes your butt tho.

c - comfortable. how comfy are they with each other? peeing with the door open close, or would they rather keep the mystery?

he’d try to keep the mystery in the beginning, but he’s so chill around you that it’s gone within the first few months. he’s prepared to be unhealthily close. like lilly & marshal from how i met your mother close.

d - dates. do they consider dates to be important? what kind do they prefer?

once you’re together, he’ll try and take you on a date at least once a fortnight - and it’s only because leia gently told him that your nightly rituals of eating pizza in your pajamas didn’t count as a date. smh.

e - engagement. how would they propose? who would even pop thw question?

it probably won’t be a proper proposal. chances are, poe will say ‘hey, let’s get married!’ and...yeah. it’s both underwhelming and overwhelming all at once, so really, it’s perfect.

f - fundamental. for them, what is the most fundamental part of a relationship?

being each other’s ride or die, and also having a good chemistry. i understand those are two completely different things, but poe needs an s.o who will give their everything to him, as well as one who he can verbally and mentally spar with someone. someone who will help him a hide a body, but also someone who can make him laugh (and i hope to the high heavens that those two scenarios are not connected in any way <3)

g - gratitude. how do they show their appreciation for you?

wink wonk. u know how he’s gonna show appreciation.

but also, when he’s a little bit sleepy and a little bit soft, he’ll quietly murmur things to you - the most prevalent one being how he can’t get his head around the fact you’re with him, and how appreciative he is of all the ways you’ve changed his life.

h - home. a random domestic headcanon.

poe refuses to sleep until he knows that both you and bb-8 are ok. in a perfect world, you’d be curled up in bed together (ideally with beebs in his charging port, but there are some things poe just won’t compromise on) but if you’re in separate locations, he just needs a simple message.

i - infinite. do they believe their love is endless, or is there something that could break it?

literally endless and unbreakable. even if you betrayed him in every way he knew to be possible, he’d still try and find a way to bring you back around.

j - jokes. who’s the funny one?

it’s gotta be him. i’m sorry.

k - kiss. how do they kiss? favourite type?

poe’s favourite type of kiss is the soft ones you exchange first thing in the morning - but, he also loves the desperate ones after you reunite after a mission. you know the holding onto each other for dear life, teeth clashing, foreheads touching kinda kiss?

l - longing. who’s the clingy one? how are they with long distance?

he is hands down the clingy one. it’s not suffocating, but when he gets into a whiny mood, that’s it. he’s not going anywhere.

m - marriage. do they wanna get married?

ideally, yes. his parents marriage was such a fundamental and important part of his childhood, and he wants to find the same connection with someone.

n - nicknames. what ones do they like?

his favourite for both you and him is babe.

o - over the top. are they ever ott? or are they more low-key?

he can be over the top; usually when he’s done something to piss you off, he’ll go absolutely out of the way to pull out all the stops - it’s either to beg for your forgiveness or to distract you from the dumb thing that you’re yet to discover

p - picture. what’s their favourite picture of them and their s.o?

one time, you fell asleep on top of each other in a bar after a few too many drinks. you were laying in his lap, and poe had one hand holding yours as he slumped against finn’s side - the latter of whom got a selfie of the three of you in that very position. it’s poe’s background on his work tablet.

q - quintessential. what is one they would refuse to compromise in their relationship? what’s a deal-breaker for them?

as aforementioned, there’s very little that could make poe ever turn away from you. you’ve bonded in a way that goes beyond your souls and again, even if you completely and entirely hurt him, he’d still see the good in you.

t - tattoo. would they ever get matching tattoos with their s.o, or a tattoo for them?

absolutely!! i reckon it would be something small, maybe on his forearm.

u - understanding. how understanding are they? or are they a little difficult?

poe would never, ever be difficult with you (not intentionally). if you’re worried about something, he’s gonna listen and make you feel validated, no matter what it is. he’d be willing to sit down for hours on end and listen to you complain about cheese - if anything, he’s just glad to be in a relationship where you get one another

v - vases. do they buy flowers?

yes!! mostly when he hasn’t seen you for a while or to cheer you up.

w - wandering. do they wanna travel? or immediately settle down?

once the first order is down, he’d want to travel a bit - there’s a lot of the galaxy he hasn’t seen yet, and a lot of different places he wants to explore. he also absolutely wants to try the kessel run. but, once that is all out the way, he’d definitely want to settle down somewhere. he needs it, really.

x - ex. how many exes do they have? any horror stories?

poe probably has a pretty average amount of break-up and relationship horror stories - maybe two or three. of course, he’s told you them all.

(there was also one really awks run in with zorii bliss).

y - you. favourite thing about their partner?

poe loves the stability you bring to his life. even when the galaxy is moving at a million miles an hour, it slows down when he’s with you. you’re the one he can always count on, and the one he can always turn to you. he can rely on you for anything & you can both sleep safe knowing you have each other’s backs. he also loves that he can laugh with you.

z - zeal. how excitable are they? who’s the calm one?

poe is absolutely the excitable one. he can be calm when need be, but his upbeat and optimistic attitude is one of the things that made you fall in love with him

request: "if you're still in the mood to write.... maybe something cute about going to miami with john and the boys in '64? 💗" okay i'm so sorry if this didn't turn out the way you imagined. i just started writing and got carried away and it might not be super "cute", it has some angst but also fluff. if this is nothing like what you asked for, please let me know and i will do my best to write something else <3

pairing: john lennon x f!reader

warnings: accidentaly angsty, mild verbal abuse (?) not really tho, arguments, achohol, annoying men at the pub and probably bad grammar and typos.

summary: john comes home from the studio and can't wait to tell y/n some great news; they're going to miami! but y/n is unsure and that causes some conflicts.

7 p.m. Since it’s August, and the end of summer has begun, when you lifted your head from your book and turned to look out the window - you could see the sun already setting. The entire sky was a perfect blend of warm oranges, purples and blues. The sunrays’ vibrance and warm colors seemed to find their way straight to your heart and a smile slowly showed up on your face.

It was hard not to fall in love with evenings like these. The living room was dark, only the light from a floor lamp in the corner of the room and a couple of candles lit up the room. But it was nice, cozy even. Right next to the couch’s arm rest stood a little wooden side table with a record player on top of it, softly playing “Love me Tender” by Elvis Presley - a classic choice. Everything was at peace and you were content, the only thing missing was John. Sure, you supposed you enjoyed a bit of you-time every now and then but you would be lying if you said you didn’t prefer to be alone with John. He was your partner, and your safe spot. As an all-the-time-busy woman you didn’t get the perks those other housewives got; You didn’t get to spend all day at home and you didn’t get to make dinner for your husband when he got home from work. But the thing was, that’s not what you wanted anyways. You enjoyed working, you enjoyed running errands all day, and most of all you enjoyed getting home after a long day at the office and cook dinner together with John.

With all these beautiful thoughts passing your head you found yourself missing John a lot more than just minutes before. When was he going to come back from the studio? He left at seven this morning, he’s been away for over twelve hours now. But right as you turned your head away from the clock on the wall, to dive back down in your book, the front door flew open. And with it, John came storming in. Hastily he tried to rip off his coat, throw off his shoes and started to unbuckle his belt. You simply stared at him in disbelief. Maybe you took back what you had said earlier about not enjoying time alone in complete silence. What the hell was the hurry about? Now John had rushed to your shared bedroom and you could hear him rummaging through the drawers. You shook your head and put down your book to stand up and walk over to the bedroom door frame. Crossing your arms over your chest you continued watching him throw out clothes from different drawers, waiting for him to even notice you.

“Care to say ‘Hello’?” you spoke up with a slight annoyance. His head shot up to look at you with wide open eyes, it was like he froze for a second. He let go of whatever he had in his hands to walk over to where you stood, opened his arms to embrace you. With a kiss on your head he let go of you.

“Of course, of course. Hello, dear. I’m sorry.” he hastily said. Just as you were about to ask him what on earth he was doing, making the bedroom a complete mess, he opened his mouth to speak again.

“We got great- no, fantastic, news today! You won’t be able to believe it, we’re going to Miami!” he said with excitement, face lit up with joy. “They’ve already got it all figured out with flights and hotel. And the best part; you’re coming with us!” John almost burst with excitement at this point. He waited for you to jump in his arms cheering. But you didn’t. And in no time John’s facial expression completely changed. He now had a confused look on his face. His brows were furrowed and his eyes filled with questions. He took a step back from you in an attempt to understand why you weren’t just as frantic as he was.

“Love, what’s wrong? We’re going to Miami!” he asked. You sighed, letting go of a heavy breath you didn’t know you had been holding. Your shoulders fell as you looked down on your feet. Fiddling with your fingers, you were unsure of what to tell him.

“I- uh… John, I can’t go to Miami” you started, eyes still on the floor.

“What do you mean you can’t go? You always talk about how you want to go on vacation to all these different places” he said in confusion. “Besides, it’s only two weeks” he stated. You didn’t know what to tell him. Two weeks. That’s a long time, you thought for yourself. You thought about your parents, and your job. You visited your parents about every other day, they lived nearby and since they were getting old you felt a responsibility over them. You have helped them get groceries and run errands for a large number of years now, you couldn’t just leave. What if something should happen to them, like an accident and one of them needs to get rushed to the hospital? Anxiety rose inside you as horrible thoughts crossed your mind. And work, you couldn’t just leave work behind you for two weeks. Not even for two days. Working in an office meant piles and piles of paperwork every day. You couldn’t imagine what your desk would look like when you got back from Miami, if you went. No, you simply could not go with them. You walked over to the bed and sat down. You sighed once more before you started to explain to him.

“I can’t leave my parents here, or work. You know that.” you said looking up at him with doe eyes. “What if something happens when I’m not here? No one will be there to help. And work, I will have sky high piles of paperwork on my desk when I return” you continued.

John let out a loud sigh, he sounded almost frustrated? He started walking back and forth in front of you and you stood up. Placing a hand on his shoulder you started saying “John, I’m sorry but I just-” but you got interrupted immediately.

“No. Stop. I don’t want to hear your excuses. You’re just being ungrateful. I arranged a vacation for you, to bloody Miami, and you say you can’t go because you won’t be able to take care of your adult parents for two weeks?” he snapped unexpectedly.

Your jaw dropped. Did he just say that? No, unacceptable. You would not let anyone talk down on things you held close to heart, and especially not your parents. You felt your face heat up with anger and your body fill up with adrenaline. This was not gonna be pretty.

“You did not just say that…” you started, still in disbelief. “How dare you say that?!” you spat, raising your voice at him. “Don’t you dare talk down on my parents! You know damn well how special they are to me. They have helped me so much in my life, they gave me the childhood every child deserves. The very least I can do to return the favor is to take care of them” you were almost shouting at this point, tears had begun streaming down your face. “But I guess you don’t understand that, you don’t have your parents” you muttered and you regretted every word of that sentence the second they were said.

“What did you just say?” John began quietly. You frantically shook your head. “No… no, I’m so sorry John. I didn’t mean to say that” you tried but it was too late. “Did I hear that right?” he raised his voice. “You’re standing there, shouting at me for ‘talking down on your parents’ and then you proceed to add that you assume I don’t understand because I don’t HAVE any parents?” he, too, was shouting now. “Do you hear yourself right now?” he asked angrily. You didn’t answer, you were in chock. You had to admit you were a little scared even. “I said, do you hear what you are saying right now?” he repeated with a military-like voice. You couldn’t handle this, you had to get away from this situation. You quickly grabbed your purse and wallet, put on your shoes and grabbed a coat, stormed out the front door and one second later you were gone. You didn’t know where you were going though. You couldn’t go to your parents house, you didn’t want to bother them having to explain what had just gone down. Your only, and best, friend was away on vacation, so you couldn’t escape to her house either. Ha, ironic, you thought to yourself.

You were just walking with no destination. You passed a pub, stopped, took a few steps back and decided to have a look. You entered the bar and was greeted by the smile of a middle aged man standing behind the bar. He was holding several bottles at once, making drinks for the people sat on the bar stools in front of him. You simply smiled back to him and took a seat on a free bar stool.

“What can I get for a lady like you?” the man asked politely. You gave him a fake smile. What was ‘a lady like you’ supposed to mean?

“I want a glass of whatever the strongest alcohol you have in store” you answered while straightening your back. The man looked surprised but then nodded, immediately getting started on your drink. One moment later the drink was put on the table in front of you. “That’ll be £4 then” the bartender said, still with that ridiculous smile on his face. You started digging in your wallet for some money as a male voice was heard behind you. “I’ll pay for that” the man said. You turned around to see who this man was and when you looked up you saw a tall man with slicked back hair, wearing an expensive-looking suit. He looked like the typical red-flag-guy. You’ve met a lot of those in your life, so you knew one when you saw one. You shook your head telling him you had money of your own, but thanking him for his kindness. “No, no, I’ll pay. A lady like you shouldn’t have to pay for her drinks” the man insisted, a distasteful grin showing up on his face. What’s it with all these creepy men and saying ‘a lady like you’, you thought. At this point you had almost finished your drink, but that man was not going to give up on you any time soon. You were getting tired of his ‘but you’re such a pretty lady’ and ‘I bet you I could treat you better than your man at home, I mean, why are you at a pub alone anyway?’ bullshit. You took a last sip of your drink and slammed it down on the table, catching the people around you's attention. “Fine, you can pay for my drink” you said monotonically. “But don’t you ever call me a ‘pretty lady’ again”.

Grabbing your purse you stood up and walked out the door. You had had enough. With a fast pace you instinctually started walking back home. After a few minutes of walking you felt a wave of fear wash over you. The anxiety kicked in and suddenly you were crying. You were not far away from home when you started running for your life. And as if things couldn’t get any worse, rain started pouring down. What was wrong with these men?! Can’t they leave a woman alone? The adrenaline made you run faster than you thought was possible but you suddenly stopped when you realized you had reached your front door. Your first instinct was to just open the door but you soon got reminded of what had happened before you left. So instead you took a few deep breaths and gently knocked on the door while trying to pull yourself together. But as the door opened and a man you deep down loved so dearly stood in the doorway with a tired smile, you lost it. You ran into his arms and to your relief he put his arms around you and held you close to his chest. Hearing his heartbeat immediately calmed you down and you closed the door behind the two of you. John helped you out of your clothes and into new warm ones. He made you a cup of tea and sat down beside you on the couch. He did keep a small distance though.

“I’m so sorry, John, I really am. It was a horrible thing for me to say” you shuddered, still cold from the rain. You could hear a quiet sigh come from John.

“It was, yes. But I forgive you, y/n” he said calmly, nothing like how he had shouted at you only hours ago. “Besides, the things I said - that was not okay. You’re never ungrateful, and I know how much your parents mean to you. I’m sorry, really sorry” he said and looked down to his feet. You could tell he was ashamed of earlier. But you were too, and you were going to forgive him. You stroked his cheek with your cold hand and made him look at you. “I forgive you, John. And I know, I shouldn’t worry so much about my parents. They’re adults and can take care of themselves just fine. I just feel guilt over not giving them the love they deserved when they gave me everything as a child. I guess this is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to them”. John took your hand from his cheek and held it in his. “You don’t need to explain, love. You’re too good for this world, and what you’re doing is more than enough” he told you. John’s words hit you like an arrow in your heart. It was like his words were the only piece missing in the puzzle that was your life.

Squeezing his hands you looked up into his beautiful hazel eyes, and you breathed out. “I want to go with you to Miami” you said. John’s eyes shot open and a smile appeared on his face. “What?” he said, surprised. “I said, I want to go with you to Miami” you laughed, knowing damn well he heard you the first time. John jumped up from the couch, his hands still in yours as he pulled you up with him. He grabbed you by your waist and spun you around. When he put you down, you were laughing so much your stomach hurt. John placed his index finger under your chin to make you look at him, and when you did, he pulled your face closer to his and kissed you right on your lips. It was a kiss of pure happiness and you couldn’t help but smile like a child on christmas. This was love, if anything.

John broke away from the kiss and inspected your face for a moment before speaking. “Well, we better get to packing then. The plane is at nine tomorrow morning”. You let out a giggle before giving him a peck on the lips, typical John.

The next morning you were woken up by a loud knocking on the door. You rubbed your eyes trying to see anything in the bright bedroom. You were looking for the clock on the bedside table and after trying to see what time it was you successfully read 8 a.m. You put the clock back on the bedside table and as you were about to lay back down you were hit with realization. 8 a.m?! The plane to Miami was leaving in an hour! Oh no… this was not good. You turned your head to look at John, who was of course still fast asleep. You shook his shoulders and gently patted his cheeks a couple times. He let out groans and mutters, letting you know he was at least half awake.

“John, wake up! It’s 8 a.m, if you don’t get out of bed in ten seconds we’re going to miss the flight” you informed him while getting up to open to see who was knocking on the door. Looking through the peephole on the door you saw three men with matching outfits and similar haircuts. Knowing exactly who these three men were, you opened the front door, preparing yourself for the worst. Through the door stormed George, Paul and Ringo. They immediately rushed into the bedroom to find John sitting on the edge of the bed, rubbing his tired eyes.

“Why’s it always you John?” Ringo asked irritably.

“Go on, out of bed you go” said George while pulling on John’s arms to help him.

Paul simply stood in the doorway with crossed arms and a smile of disbelief on his face. “What were you two up to last night? This room’s a bloody mess” he laughed. John didn’t. “Shut up” he simply replied.

You were in the hallway packing the last few things for your trip. The only thing everyone waited on now was for John to get dressed so you could leave for the airport. You had called your parents the night before, telling them about your trip. You were nervous but struck by relief when your mom basically begged for you to go. She explained how they could take care of themselves, besides, you were not going to leave them forever. It was only two weeks after all. “I’ll come over and water your plants every few days, alright?” she had said over the phone. A smile had made its way to your face and you answered with an “Alright, mom”. It had been quiet for a while as your mom spoke again “Just don’t miss us too much, okay, honey?” she sounded almost concerned. And as a wave of sadness washed over you, you said “Can’t promise you that, mom”. You said your goodbyes and hung up.

As you came back to reality after reliving the memories of your conversation with your mother from last night, John, Paul, George and Ringo stood in front of you in the hallway with sweet smiles. You smiled and nodded before opening the door. You let the four boys out of the house and before closing the door you took a last peek inside. Why was it so hard to leave home? you sighed for yourself. Maybe it was the separation from what you loved most that gave you this extreme anxiety? You didn’t come up with an answer and your thoughts got interrupted by a car honking at you. You quickly turned around to see Paul’s hand waving at you, signaling for you to get in the car. You mouthed a “I’m coming” and turned to the front door again. Crouching down you lifted up the doormat and stuck a key under it, in case your mom should stop by.

Exhaling deeply you got up and started walking away from the house. You stepped into the car and sat down next to John. He grabbed your hand and squeezed it lightly, giving you comfort. “It’ll be alright, darling. It’s only two weeks, remember?” he whispered so only you would hear him. You didn’t look at him, afraid you would break down again, but you smiled and stroked your thumb over the back of his hand. You were so grateful to have a man like John in your life, and not one of those obnoxious men at the pub. He knew how to treat you the way a woman deserves, and for that you loved him more than words can explain.

The car started rolling and you looked over to John to meet his eyes. He smiled and quietly said “Let’s go to Miami”. A broad smile soon appeared on your face as genuine happiness filled your body. “Yeah, let’s go to Miami” you replied, putting your head on his shoulder and closing your eyes. Yeah... maybe it wouldn’t be so bad?

i already answered this one here but let's be honest i've got a lot of soft sweet shit under my belt, lol. Where the Wind Rests definitely gets a shout-out, part of a series and has spoilers for the end of broken mirror but god tender reunions and marriage proposals my beloveds. i went looking through my desabrudas stuff to pick one out but honestly any of the stuff i wrote about them post-shanxi with kids is just pure cavity fodder, i need to write them more everything is oLD

💖 What made you start writing?

i used to be a semi-famous rper in the facebook rp community (back in. 2012. yes it was a thing fb used to be an easy haven for rp) for a. certain anime community i'm not going to mention you must be at least a level 3 friend to learn this fact. but that started it, and then i had a couple friends from that community who helped foster that and got me writing - i have an old twilight spitefic still up on ao3 (do not read it. cannot emphasize enough it's very old and i was mimicking smeyer's writing style and the characters have evolved since then) that was inspired by one of those friends!!

i got started writing mass effect specifically because my partner @lightspeedpowerpunk was writing a fic about our ocs, which eventually grew into Rise & Reign (we're rewriting it soon i prommy plans are in the works i miss my dumb stupid boys) and around chapter. idk, 10?? 12 or so?? i started contributing to writing it myself, and that just kinda kickstarted everything. everybody say thank you to the ogs axilus and thie'haasn for my [checks notes] jesus christ 84 mass effect works on ao3

💞 Who's your comfort character?

m. many,,,,, definitely cnclr sparatus, obviously, and also my oc for his wife, aediteia. the way i've written sparky has taken nearly the full 8 years i've been in this fandom to slowly build, and he's very near and dear to my heart. conversely, teia has also grown along with him, and their narratives both personal and together touch on a lot of things that are somewhat personal to me and my own growth as a person.

in the same vein, the arterius brothers also count - i can look back and see how the way i've written saren has changed over the years as i myself have grown. i write him less depressed now, he has a support system, in yes-reapers yes he's still having a Bad Time because sovereign is fucking him up and the reapers are tied to his brother's death but it's less. idk. gloom and doom emo sadboi 24/7, he's allowed to have moments of peace now. desolas in particular i've kinda realized is also reflecting a lot about myself, ESPECIALLY in no-reapers. his arc in my no-reapers au, and in fact a major theme of the entire series, is all about recovery from trauma and how our choices make us who we are; no-reapers desolas has been through a lot of shit, so much, 89 years of it, from his parents being killed to having to help his baby brother through his own trauma to his career to 314 and everything in-between, and he's been in a really bad place and learned really bad habits and attitudes, but after shanxi he makes the active choice to grow and move on, at first just because valis needs him but with therapy also comes to do it just for himself because he's tired of being sad and hurt and angry. and that's a very personal story for me, even tho i certainly didn't set out intending des of all assholes to be the one carrying most of my weight, lol.

nihlus and (valis) abrudas are also in the same boat, characters who've been through a lot of shit and got mad about it and have their own ways of dealing with it. something that's going to become apparent to shepard in itlog is that saren was nihlus's morality chain, not the other way around - saren played a large part in nihlus learning to heal from his father's death and move on as a person, and now that he's been hurt in this whole thing nihlus is starting to slide back into old habits. valis, on the other hand, is the lone sane man in the whole clan, trying to keep her head on straight and above water while her friends and loved ones are drowning, and i've had to be that friend myself and boy i really do appreciate that kind of character, especially for somebody like desolas who's been drowning so long he's forgotten what the surface looks like.

god i have so many emotions and thoughts about sparkyteia and the desabrudas/kryterius group (i like to call des + valis + saren the evolution trio, personally, as they're all in it, but nihlus makes a proper group name hard :lmfao:) they're all my comfort characters i come back to them every time when i get stuck in my head and start Thinking About Stuff i probably have others but this is already rEALLY LONG,

My thoughts while reading The ballad of song birds and Snakes... ( I’ll be refering Coriolanus to Snow in this because I am not about to write that name who know how many times) ( Please note Many many spoilers ahead)

Now here is the part I literally almost threw my book...

When Snow used Sejanus Parents to his full advantage... never telling them oh he is the reason there one and only son is dead.. and Basically the parents “Adopt snow..” pay for his schooling now, makes sure he is well fed and dressed..” I was beyond pissed at this point...

So now my last point Snow said the games must go on which duhh ( since we meet Katniss everdeen ) and that they will be better and everyone must watch... and more twists and turns in it...

@the-lost-system was interested in seeing our tattoos and maybe some of you will enjoy them too, so here goes our little tattoo story.

Oh and it was a pain in the ass to get decent pictures of them, so I am sorry that the quality is not the greatest. The tattoos definately look better irl.

We got our first one in 2016, a short time before our 19th birthday. One of our friends had gotten a tattoo as well, so we decided that it's time to get our first one done. Mind you, we still had no clue that we were multiple at that point! Still it's interesting that all our tats symbolize different alters. This first one speaks to all of us, but on different levels. Mostly it is for Panthera, our wild one that can shapeshift into a panther and for the alters that live in the forests of our inner world like Feya and Lion. It is a reminder to never give up, to not let this world change us and to always remain fierce and wild at heart. "Wild hearts can't be tamed" somewhat became our life motto and as our first tattoo, we still hold it very dear to our heart.

Next came these two, only about a month after the first one. These have a story of rebellion. We went with the same tattoo-obsessed friend to a Tattoo convention in our home town. My dad drove us there, saying that we will be in "big trouble" should we get a tattoo there. You have to know that my parents are russian, very conservative and ABSOLUTELY against tattoos and any other body modifications. Getting the first tat did not sit well with them, especially our mom. But, our mother has been controlling all our life up until that point and we were sick of it. We needed to break free from her and her oppression. We needed to be seen, no matter what it took. So me and the friend have a blast at the con, I pick a super cool artist from The Netherlands and we chat about what "fear" means while he inks me.

Here comes a close up of the two:

These are magic runes from the Shadowhunter series/ The mortal Instruments books. This one stands for "fearlessness". Anxiety and fear have been a really big theme throughout our lives as with many people that have been traumatized for a looong ass time. It serves as a constant reminder while yes, we cannot simply wish away the fear with magic, we CAN make it through it and we have done so every single time. Fear does not define us as a person, if anything it made us stronger and more resilient.

Oh and the little marks on top are NOT from s*lf h*rm, but we have 3 beautiful rat boys that love to climb on me and well tiny scratches simply happen with that.

This is the other rune and it symbolizes "courage in combat". As you see, it goes perfectly with our battle with anxiety and other mental health issues. Simply surviving our past and sometimes making it through the day with DID can be very hard. Yes, we have lost battles, but the war is far from over and I know that we will have peace one day.

And damn did we need that strength when we showed those tattoos to our parents the next day. We also did a dragon paintbrush non-permanent tattoo on our left forearm, we first showed them that one and they were like: "See, you don't need to permanantly mark your body with these bold statements and ugly ink". They are wrong. We NEED bold statements and we need our BEAUTIFUL ink. This is art to us. This body has failed us so many times and we do not exactly associate positive things with it. So it is time to transform in into something nice, into a home for all of us. This means painting the walls, creating art work that will stay with us for the rest of our lifes. It is a form of healing for us and therefor very important.

Then I showed my parents the real tats. Needless to say, I had to leave the house for the day after the fight that insued. It was ugly, yet it was a victory. I stood my ground (and no, I did not "flee" the scene. I simply needed to get away from the hurtful things they said and the toxic energy they let out towards something that I consider positive change. Sometimes stepping away is self-care and not weakness) and I wish that I had done that more in my life. My parents are still not okay with the tattoos, but they learned to simply ignore the matter over the years and we are okay with that.

These two runes are associated with our Protectors Lion, Ty and Panthera for the most part. They are the ones helping us fight all these battles, they need to be strong and courageous. But the tattoos are also meant for our rebellious teenage alters Raven, Zeki and the one that does not want to be named.

And now for the last one so far.

We got this one done in a completely different period of our life, though not even 2 years later at 20. But at that point, we had met our amazing partner and have been living together for about 6 months in a different city, away from our parents and other negative things that have happened in the past.

This tattoo is the first one with colour in it and that symbolizes to us, that our world has FINALLY changed, it became brighter, happier, more ALIVE. Blue is our favourite colour and also the colour of "real ink" usually. So this one speaks to Panthera again, she is one of the alters that have been created the earliest (at the beginning of elementary) and she is one of the reasons we survived and actually had the chance to make it to this better place. We will eternally be grateful for her existance. But the tat also speaks to me, Skye, now the host for a couple of years. As an author, ink is almost sacred to me. I sometimes call it my life blood. My hands are often stained with ink because I love to draw, journal and actually write in ink. Almost all my first drafts are written in ink and well it get's messy and that is okay. That is life. Spilling ink onto pages after pages is what my soul longs for. It gives me peace, closure and the ability to create worlds that are more interesting and characters that are stronger than me. This is freedom to us. And I wish to one day have all these pages inspire people, to give them hope in their world that might still only be black and grey. That is my dream. The novel that I am writing is also represented in this tattoo. The main character is also able to shapeshift to a beautiful, strong and fierce big cat.

All the tattoos so far that we have are located on the right side of our body (right forearm and right upper thigh) and are mostly aimed at alters that have been here longer than I as a host have been. All were made before I knew about DID but still represent it and our story so perfectly.

My next tattoo is already planned out in my head. It will be a next step on our recovery and I hope to be able to get it soon. This time, it will represent me as Host for the most part and our passion for writing. This time it will be located on our left forearm. Because subconsciously I have "mapped" out the body in the beginning of my tattoo journey. Tattoos on the right side represent alters that had to be strong and face struggles, those that have been in the body for a very long time. The left side will be aimed at the alters that came in later, at another breaking point in our life, when the chronic pain started. These alters are mainly helpers, more delicate than the first group, more spiritual, but they love with a passionate fire and have helped us to get far in life. The goal for this next tattoo is, that I want to be able to pay for it with my own money earned from writing. That way it will symbolize our love for writing and our goal to become more independant and move one step further away from the dark past.

No seriously. I had a very vivid dream involving all the Winnie The Pooh characters as a group of enthusiastic (and queer) environmentalists who meet once a week to talk about environment things because they’re nerds.

Wangxian week

Day 3: Soulmates

In the Cultivation world, It’s apparently easy to find your soulmate. Apparently, because it’s just as hard, or even more so, as for non-cultivators to find them, Wei Wuxian thinks.

You know when you found your soulmate when you’re able to see their scars. And of course people would think that, for cultivators, this would be an easy task, having lots of scars in their bodies and all, but it’s not!

As if cultivators would be showing their bodies off for the world to see, just to find ther soulmate..., ridiculous!

For cultivators, having a soulmate is not a bless, it’s like... an assured broken heart which leads you to be a useless cultivator..., yeah, pretty tragic. Cultivators risk their lives continuallly, and their main priority is to train, be the best and mantain reputation of their clan. Love is not really an important matter, just a burden.

For Wei Wuxian is a different story.

He’s a loud, incredibly talkative, audacious, bold and impulsive young man. The type to lose attention esily, who enjoys teasing and pranking others, a fun lover and a rules hater, always getting in trouble.

But he’s also intelligent, charismatic, caring and protective, and usually hides those last traits behind a goofy smile and a carefree personality.

And as someone who never completely belonged, one of his most profound desires is to have someone who truly accepts him, lets him be who he is and loves him no matter what.

He could not give a fuck about what others cultivators think! Wei Wuxian wanted to find his soulmate, for more stupidly romantic as that sounds.

So, that night, when he met that gorgeous Lan cultivator with a boring face, who tried to stop him from drinking the delicious Emperor's Smile. At fist, he could not understand that almost primitive desire to tease him to no end, just to see what expression he could make, how beautiful he could be.

Lan Wangji was his total opposite, someone courtly and righteous, unwilling to bend rules. Always cold and distant, but despite his apparent annoyance at his presence, Wei Wuxian, at some point in his life, considered him a close friend, someone fun to tease and hunt with.

Someone Wei Wuxian eventually pushed away, and gave up in him, because he finally understood that, at the end, Lan Wangji despised him after all.

And then his life went from bad to worse. Wei Wuxian was now The Yiling Patriarch, a demonic cultivator, evil and hated by all. Except for Lan Wangji, who treated him the same as always, wich was actually a relief, even if he knew that Lan Wangji just tolerated him, nothing more.

He slowly drowned in his dark power, losing control, feeling alone and hated, misunderstood and powerless. Alone, alone, alone...

'Go away, go away, go away!- I don't want to hurt you, I'm evil, I cannot control it, it's so hard..., no, stop! help me, don't leave me, I can't do this...'

'Get lost, get lost, GET LOST!- It's late, I lost, you don't need me, everyone hates me, I'm just a burden, leave, leave, leave...'

And he died, miserable, hated and alone. After so much pain, loss and loneliness, it finally stoped. The world was free of his existence, and no one would hurt him ever again.

Sadly, he never got to meet his soulmate...

But destiny had other plans with him, after all.

And at the end he came back, in Mo Xuanyu's body, and he decided to make that sacrifice worth it. He would take this second opportunity and do things right.

And with Lan Wangji, together, searched for the body parts, and in the pace of their adventures, he slowly fell head over hills for no other than Hanguang-Jun, who, he discovered, never hated him after all.

The matter of soulmates was slowly forgotten by Wei Wuxian, it now only mattered to him that his dear Lan Zhan loved him as much as he did.

Until their first, of lots of nights, being intimately together.

Their bodies were laying in the soft grass, both of them out of breath. Wei Wuxian was under Lan Wangji, both lovers kissing each other passionately, tongues brushing against the other, light bites in lips, low moans and breathy little laughs, caused by sweet inexperience and love.

Both, after the long mystery of Nie Mingjue's body and Jin Guangyao's past being resolved, decided to follow their desires for the other, and touch, get to know their partner's beautiful body, loving the sounds and sensation of their lover's skin.

And in that process, Wei Wuxian could not suppress the want to touch that strong, wide back of Lan Wangji, it reminded him of all the times Lan Zhan defended and protected him, and the desire to know how soft that skin would be, made him crazy.

So he lifted up the white clothes, and felt it.

Scars, and lots of them.

He already knew the severe punishment Lan Wangji was put through because of him, and his guilt and lots of love for this man surged.

Wei Wuxian could not believe how lucky he was.

But for the way Lan Wangji tensed, he remembered what scars really meant, and after all those years, he remembered that tiny but important matter.

Soulmates.

"Wei Ying..., there is no need to be sorry." he spoke, looking ate him in the eyes.

His ribbon was crooked and his face was just right there, looking at him with so much love and want, it made his heart melt.

"I- y-yes! I already know that, Lan Zhan, ahahahah, but I can't help but feel a little guilty."

"What's wrong?" Lan Wangji noticed that guilt was not really tge problem.

"C-can I... would you let me see them? Your scars, I mean."

But before the other could answer, he was interrupted. "Y-you know what? It doesn't matter! I know is something intimate and you don't have to show me, I'm just being stupid... ahahah..."

"Mn."

"What?"

"You can, I'll show you." He kneeled in front of him and took his clothes off.

And Wei Wuxian could now fully appreciate the beauty of Lan Wangji's body, and avoided to look at his back. What if he couldn't see the scars? What if what they had was just a mistake?

What if they weren't meant to be together?

But he tried to be brave. If they're not soulmates, who cares? They love each other, have gone through a lot of things together, enjoyed to be with the other, wanted to be by their side.

No one could make him not love Lan Wangji.

So Wei Wuxian opened his eyes, and looked. Lan Wangji's back was full of scars, each of them looked painful, protectiveness and rage surged inside of him.

How dare they hurt his Lan Zhan like this?

Hesistantly, he placed a finger in one of those scars, and caressed it. And he did so whith the other ones. Until he could not resist it, and started kissing each scar he would catch his eyes.

Wei Wuxian hugged him by the waist, and kissed, touched, kissed, touched. It felt as if time stopped, just both of them where there, in the middle of those trees, having this intimate moment.

Lan Wangji let out trembling sighs, enjoying the soft touches and kisses, feeling comforted and loved.

"Lan Zhan," he whispered against his back. "We're soulmates... I can see each one of your scars, and I'll treasure them for tge rest of my life, I swear. I love you so much..." and kept kissing.

"Wei Ying... hah... love you too."

In that forest, they consummated their love. With little whines, trembling sighs, high moans and low groans. The sound of skin against skin and wet kisses.

And incessantly repeated "I love you, I missed you, I want you... don't leave me"

"I won't."

So, I don't really have month/day precise birthdays for my ocs? :'D I don't even know how that would work on SW and I suck at star signs so… I can say Illyrio is born in 3682 BBY and that makes him 42 during the events of Makeb (which is the year he meets Muhn, if that works as a reference), and that I fancy calling him a Scorpio cause I guess it kinda fits.

Cis man. It never really went further for him, he always was comfortable that way.

Bisexual. Married to Muhren in 3637 BBY in canon universe; alternatively fancying his mess agent Blakk in other ones and .. well, both in some others. >>

They have a number of scars, most prominent being the slave marking on his face, the whip scaring on his back and the lightsaber mark on his chest.

Aside from the slave markings and, I guess, the white hair (not that much of a significant feature when alien races are involved :'D ) he doesn't really have any, no.

Nope, thank the Force, he doesn't have to deal with his daughter's Nexus anymore and he's happier this way.

Yes, his daughter Khatyrkite, that he had at 23 and adopted when she was 7.

They can sing but it's not that easy to make them. They can formally dance with dignity, but not much else. Too rigid.

Yes, but prefers to be driven around.

Yes, double-bladed lightsaber and Force training. When younger he was also quite dangerous bare-handed but he hasn't trained that skill in a while.

27. What’s their family like? Who’s in it? What’s their relationship with them?

Before Muhn his family was basically only his daughter, Khatyrkite, and they were close, despite Illyrio's initial efforts not to be so. She grew on him and managed to slowly but surely make his fear more of an after-though. He didn't want to get attached to someone so easy to love. An alien child with no practical education thrown into the Academy of Korriban? Khatyrkite had to work hard to prove she could do it. And he did make her work, considering it necessary that she could prove and defend herself without her father's title to protect her. They have great affection for each other, even of it's often left unspoken, and even if not as strong as before, they still have their Force bond to prove it, even to each other.

28. Are they literate? Did they go to school? How long? What level?

They are literate, and learned most of his basic knowledge during slave training. The rest he took up keeping company to the young Master during his studies and generally during slave life. Then there was the Sith Academy and then he was taken as an Apprentice and Abraxas finished his education. He learned the rest on the way.

29. What was childhood like?

Not much of a childhood, let's say that. Studies, collars, biological engineering, slave training directed into obedience and alienation to self.

30. What was adolescence like?

Spent serving as a company slave in a high ranking noble family in Ziost. Let's say stunted.

31. What’s their current main conflict?

Finding any peace between overworking and starting to let go but risking losing status/power and a certain state of security born from habit.

32. What steps have they taken to overcome this conflict

Trusting more of his emotional baggage, vulnerability and work on his husband.

33. How have they changed over time?

He has become less.. unstable. Sith training following his slave one had pushed on many of the emotions he had been repressing beforehand, so, well, it made for a powerful Sith, but not much of an emotionally stable individual. He got in touch with more of himself and on what truly he wanted to be for his Muhn.

For Fun

34. What’s their room look like right now?

It's a mix between his rich but organised deco and Muhn's pretty clutter and his plants. Rich, elegant colors overall, generally elegant but comfortable looking, cushions, big bed, big windows, woods, a library. His room is his comfort place, really, and probably one of the rooms he spends more time in aside from his training room and the gardens.

35. What are they like as a friend?

Bad. Bad-ish.

36. What are they like as a partner?

He.. gets better at it, given a little time. >> The sex is good.

37. Do they have any phobias?

They are not fond of deep waters, but can manage them. They detest Force inhibition devices.

38. Did/do they go anywhere special for vacations?

They haven't gone in one in… dam forever. They wouldn't know at this point, really. It's a mix between wanting to be in a place where he wouldn't be recognized and his desire to keep his status and power close.

39. Your character walks into a cafe. What do they order?

Rich, hot, spiced coffee.

40. What time do they go to bed, usually?

Depends, they are very used to an irregular sleep pattern.

41. What’s their morning routine like?

Depending on how much time they have, the very least composes shower and a minimum of beauty care, they usually pick their clothes the day before. They usually snack something quick if they have the time and take a caff or directly a stim, if need be.

42. What’s the dumbest thing your character’s done?

That's not to be discussed here.

Lekku and Montrals? :'D they are curved in the front so they do catch the eye.

No. They didn't have the position for one for a long time and then never really gotten to it. Probably scared they would do a bad job taking care of one.

They can't really, no. :'3 they can manage a survivalist meal but they essentially rely on other to get food.

They can't really sing, but it's not a passion of their so they never really did any practice worth of it. They can dance, but only a selection of simple things, essentially for their job. They don't mind dancing casually, and are pretty good at it. At least, they are pretty to look at doing so.

They are better at ranged combat, but they can throw a hell of a fight nonetheless.

Taking care of themself with beauty products or with a mani-pedi is a luxury they couldn't afford for a long time and it does marvels to their mood so they indulge in gladly it when they have some me time. Also they have a sometimes strained relationship with their looks, so making themself pretty makes them happy. Aside from that they like simple pad games, to run and spend some time in shooting ranges.

But both of those things have been incorporated in jobs for a long time, so, well, aside from having a particular relationship with both, defining them "guilty" pleasures is complicated. 27. What’s their family like? Who’s in it? What’s their relationship with them?

They don't have a family, nor good memories from the orphanage, so, probably the closest they got to family was, first, at Madame's institute, where they really come in touch with a positive collective/community. They started coming in touch with themself and with others in a way that was more than family than ever before. Of course they wanted to rebuild that with the Golden Rose, even if it became with times more "officious" with the number of workers and clients and regulations that came with it. But they do want people to feel safe with the Rose, and want them to feel at least a little bit like family.

28. Are they literate? Did they go to school? How long? What level?

They are literate, and studied at the orphanage until they left, so, they are not very knowledgeable after that. They didn't continue studies, only tried to pick up some decent bases to start being more independent after Madame picked them up. They worked hard to be functional as owner of the Golden Rose, and that's where they are at.

They weren't very happy at the orphanage, didn't felt like they belonged. It ended up with them running away, so...

30. What was adolescence like?

A mix between rebellious orphanage life, naive Nar Shadda and bling/bling fascination and the basically spoiled, responsibility-free life as a Crime Lord doll. It was.. maybe not as practically formative as it could have, overall.

They became more self-aware, more conscious of themself and their choices. More independent, and such, with a bigger presence, allowing them to also create better and stronger bonds with people. With a helping hand they started shedding all the bad preconceptions they had on their life, even if it really took years and years to come to terms with some truth about themself and their past, but well, they got back on their feet. Now they have a house, they pay bills, they own and handle a host house that oversees many people that Apate wants to protect. So, well, I can't really tell how they changed, cause they didn't, not really. It was still them, all along, but I guess they own themself a bit more every day.

For Fun

34. What’s their room look like right now?

It's a pretty big room, but essentially on the minimalist side. Very clean and shiny, with its marble floors and big window on the High District. It's not cluttered and Apate doesn't spend that much time in it, but when they do they find it more peaceful for it to be essential but pretty and expensive looking in its decor and composition.

35. What are they like as a friend?

Devoted, sometimes harsh and too up-front, but also generous and affectionate.

36. What are they like as a partner?

They haven't had much experience in that field yet, so, maybe, distant, even if not on purpose. They are not really used to the practicality of building ties so ever-present and strong, they are still very much used to deal with things on their own. But very sweet, very tactile, very inquisitive, playful.

37. Do they have any phobias?

Of losing themself in someone's idea of them. Again.

38. Did/do they go anywhere special for vacations?

They haven't taken a vacation in ages, they want to quite bad. Anything different from Nar Shadda would be welcome, but they probably want the pampering vacation treatment. They do have an affinity for water, because of their ex, so maybe somewhere they could swim a bit.

Everyday something different, they don't like caff but drinks it daily so spicing things up is their way. Now it's usually Terjam that buys caff for them, so they enjoy being surprised.

40. What time do they go to bed, usually?

It depends, the Rose usually "opens" late in the morning and closes later at night, but it depends if there are events or not, and if Apate has plans or not. They are more akin to the night life, and Nar Shadda Never really sleeps, so it's not unusual for them and some friends to have late evening shopping sprees or date nights or such. It will depend on how much work there had been during the day.

41. What’s their morning routine like?

They take their time. They wake up slow and then stretch and drink water and then shower, quick breakfast with either milk/yogurt/sweet cheese and some fruits while listening to radio/the news, and then make up and dressing up and then to the Golden Rose where they take a coffee and some pastries with Terjam before starting work around 10:00.

42. What’s the dumbest thing your character’s done?

Thinking it was a good idea to escape to Nar Shadda with no money or friends or knowledge of the city at the peak of 15 years old.

There's been two. One when Mikawlas died, and Apate found themself mourning, furious, hurt and dependent on the little skills they had to survive from there on. The second was when Madame picked them up and helped them detox and then got them back on their way to manage themself independently and redefine boundaries in a way that could better connect them to themself and a thriving comfort zone.

48. What was their lowest point? What was their highest point?

Apate almost lost themself, and skipped many steps of their emotional and practical development growing up in not-so-healthy environments. They never really had a family, they rushed and yet mellowed through their adolescence without any real friends of their age, they suffered a big loss pretty young and then started living off favours and on the street without really a support and foundation to evolve.

Then they got back to their feet, and found their ambitious drive again, and created the Golden Rose and wasn't that just *chef kiss*.

49. What are some themes tied to your character’s story?

Former drug addiction, stunt in personal growth and past trauma being overcome, sex work and its relation to their own sex drive and desire, curiosity and extroversion, sex positivism, grooming, fashion and beauty care.

i’m about to kill my last remaining braincell thinking about these

1, 4, 7 and 8 answered here ♥ the rest of them under the cut because i became annoying (once again, i am Sorry mobile users)

2. Who laughs and kisses their partner on the cheek while their partner isn’t happy about something trivial to try and make them feel better?

Both do that!! They both rely on physical comfort a lot so it’s always like…the first go-to strategy when they see each other upset. They give each other a small kiss and try to crack a silly joke that 99% of the times it’s bound to make the other laugh and at least make them forget why they where upset in the first place! Cata also likes to rest her head on his shoulder and nudge it a bit so he at least tells her why he was upsetti!

Sharky is the one who does it more often tho, because Cata doesn’t really voice the trivial stuff that upsets her because she just tries to deal with it on her own as to not bother people and risking being called childish for being upset by such a small thing (she carries that from her Family Life).

3. Who cuddles up to the other after a long day at work, and this soon escalates to a playful pillow fight?

Cata most of the time :’’’/// she is actually super touch starved EVEN if she is always clinging to people (that’s pretty much the reason she does it fjdfds) so when she comes back from work all she wants to do is get that sweet human warmth and comfort and Sharky welcomes her with open arms!! They cuddle a lot actually but it only escalates in a playful pillow fight if she is not too tired and most of the time the loser has to do something extremely dumb as a punishment

5. How would one another describe their partner?

They only have good things to say about one another!!!! I’ve mentioned it before but they have a way of making the negative traits look like positive ones, not in a “my partner is perfect” kinda way but more of a….these are all parts of them and i love every single bit of it fhdkshfs BUT ANYWAY Cata loves how funny he is and how easily he can lift the weight off her shoulders so that is something she really focuses on when describing him, just how being with him makes everything seem easier somehow!! Sharky loves how supportive Cata is and how patient she is too!! He likes how he can be himself around her without having to fear she is gonna judge him, it really makes him feel comfortable!

6. Who wraps their arms around their partner as they look them in the eyes and compliments them with a goofy smile?

Cata!!! Sharky likes to ramble about whatever and one of her favourite things to do is like wrapping her arms around his neck and nod with a stupid smile as he keeps talking about virtually anything fhjdks most of the time he is also so focused on his train of thought that even if Cata is practically on his face he doesn’t stop talking and that is something she absolutely adores fdsjk

9. Who loves it when their partner kisses them good morning?

That’s got to be Sharky because Cata wakes up earlier to go to work! It’s mostly a super fast kiss because she is a disaster and always oversleeps so she has to eat breakfast while getting dressed so she probably stumbles over the bed trying to give him a soft kiss and ends up falling on top of him and abruptly waking him up hfksdh but he loves it so much he always kisses her again before she pulls back :’/ ♥

10. Who shows the other how to balance a spoon on their nose?

They both do because they are dumbasses. They probably also have a contest to see who can balance the spoon for the longest time and they try to sabotage each other by “casually” leaning to nudge the other in the shoulder which always ends up with both spoons falling down.

11. Who loves to pull pranks on the other? What type of pranks do they pull and do they pull their pranks off?

Cata is a master prankster because growing up the youngest of five siblings and having a demon as your directly older brother pretty much meant she had to be prepared to live through a lifetime of pranks and also be witty enough to pull them back fksdh they’re harmless pranks tho and most of the time it has to do with spicy food camouflaged as something not-spicy (chili powder instead of cinnamon, a bit of wasabi inside an oreo cookie, chocolate covered peppers…). Cata just sits back with a smug smile behind her mug of coffee and patiently waits for the prank to unfold.

12. What is something small that they would randomly pick up for one another?

Cata probably gets him a super stupid lighter, like you know those that are shaped like bubblegum packs or one shaped like a super ugly fish she got from a dumb trip to the lake fdhsfk they are absolutely stupid gifts but she loves them. Sharky gets her an equally stupid keychain that he either found rumaging through his own drawers or that he bought at a gas station.

They are really not well thought gifts but these are the ones they love most because impulsive buying something because it reminded them of the other person or seeing something and knowing they must give it to their partner because it is so them just means a lot to both of them!!!

13. Who is the one who can’t stop laughing when trying to tell a joke?

Cata because she has a super easy laugh and most of the time she finds her own (awful) jokes to be so hilarious she can’t tell them with a straight face. Most of the times she tries to tell a joke it’s basically her gasping for air and clearing her throat before she inevitably starts laughing again and Sharky is left with a confused smile because he wants to hear the joke but she can’t for the love of god deliver it

14. Who would plan the other a surprise birthday party?

They both would!! They probably won’t even be huge parties either, just the closest friends and lots of food and disco music (for Sharky) or some 90s rock (for Cata) but just the fact that the other person put so much thought into making it an enjoyable day for the other makes them melt!!

Sharkyyyy :’/// he is a Big Boi and he loves to lift her up a lil when he goes for a hug!! She holds on to him for dear life the first time he does it (war flashbacks from one of her brothers who loved to toss her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes) and he finds that so absolutely adorable he just makes it a habit to pick her up every single time
