i don’t know if any tv show has ever given me as much of a stomachache as this episode, oooooooooof!!! the STRESS. (but honestly, the stomachache was 100% just suspense over whether gerri and roman would ever interact again. everything else, i was very zen about.)

gerri in the video radiantly reciting a dirty limerick like a roman daydream come true and roman watching her fondly!!!!! ugh!!!!! that was so schmoopy, especially for this show!!! he still loves her (not that that’s news)!!!!! and him panicking and losing it at the very sight of her and really feeling the crushing weight of his potential that she so believed in because she could have got him there!!!!!!!!!!! she also gave him a couple little not-hateful looks that might have even been sort of nice or concerned or at least ... okay, and i will cling to those for the rest of my life. but i’m so, so sad we never got to see them talk to each other again. OOF.

i have the most hope for roman just because he wound up self-aware enough to see the reality of the situation. jesse armstrong might think you’ll be a sad guy in a bar forever, but to me, there is nowhere for you to go but up, bb. and into the arms of your woman.

i hate the idea of gerri sticking with the company with tom as the ceo just because her disdain for tom was so strong; putting up with logan was one thing, putting up with roman was another even, but TOM????? tom, getting his melancholy everywhere?? however, i think it’s probably too idealistic of me to suggest that she’d turn it down for that reason. but also, maybe she would? isn’t she tired of idiot men yet??? doesn’t she want to go to the g.d. south of france already???? like, the contrast of the old camaraderie in the video of the party with logan with, like, the stupid dudebro tech culture of mattson ... ugh, i just don’t want gerri to be up in that mess! i want her to reject tom! and stand in solidarity with karl & frank! Well, these are my personal daydreaming prompts for when im bored since I’m not much of a writer, so feel free to have a go at them if you’d like :)

1) Jotunn have completely different life cycles, and are much longer lived than Aesir. All this to say that underneath Odin’s spell, Loki is way younger than the anyone thinks. (rip imagine the trauma of mentally being a child and needing constant love and affection but everyone around you thinks you’re an adult and treats you as such)(Maybe he’s not a runt maybe he’s just a kid he’s gonna get so tall in another 1,000 years Odin just you wait)

2) Honestly just anything where the Aesir’s lack of knowledge about Jotunn biology has an impact on Loki’s health/mental well being. Bad diet in Asgard? Too much sun? Plus he’s a tiny Jotunn so… yay health problems :((

3) Due to time travel/one of those tva portals/amnesia, the Avengers meet a pre-Thor1 Loki during or after the invasion, and have to deal with the dissonance between the half crazed conquerer and the quiet, thoughtful, intelligent person he was only a year or two beforehand. Given the younger Loki’s distinct lack of murderous tendencies, everyone (including the man himself) has only one question: What the hell happened?

4) The whole dark elves fiasco ends with Loki severely injured but alive, and imprisoned on Asgard once again. Years later when the Avengers realize there may have been more to Loki’s invasion than meets the eye, there’s nothing stopping them from visiting and asking him for information themselves. Well, aside from the crippling effects of long-term solitary confinement that is. (And why was Loki so easy to re-imprison anyways?)

5) In another timeline, a Loki raised on Jotunheim under Asgardian subjugation inadvertently makes contact with the Avengers/Earth while teaching himself magic. Thor’s done a lot of things in his time on Midgard, but teaching the mortals galactic history clearly wasn’t one of them. All the better, thinks Loki, who isn’t about to let this opportunity slip through his fingers.

WHOOHOO ALRIGHTY!

- So they met through Demeter, back when Persephone was just the goddess of spring and hadn’t met Hades yet.

- Aphrodite is kinda the Fun Auncle to end all Fun Auncles (genderfluid Aphrodite baby!), and would often take Young Persephone to the beach and give her jewelry and babysit her when Demeter wasn’t around. To this day, Seph still has the string of pearls Aphrodite gave to her on a trip (though she wears it as a bracelet now!)

- Once Seph went and married Hades, Aphrodite was one of the first to just. Love it. So much. Look at them!!! An unlikely pairing!!! Them!!! Them!!!!

- She actually got Eros to officiate Seph’s wedding, which was very very fun

- The only time their relationship kinda messed up was the Psyche Incident. They didn’t talk to each other for decades.

- Eventually tho Seph came over and they are currently acting like absolutely nothing happened there and they are fine

- By the time Hadestown starts, Aphrodite is a beauty mogul, having sold and modeled tons of clothing, makeup, and hair products, often using the other gods as more models and endorsements.

- While Seph has never directly done anything to support Aphrodite’s business - she wants to stay as far away from anything industrial as possible - she still comes over and that fur coat she wears was purchased by Hades, from an offshoot of Aphrodite’s business.

TL;DR They’re really good friends, Aphrodite was Seph’s cool auncle, and when Hadestown begins they’re trying to act like nothing has gone wrong in their relationship.

Marina slightly grumbled to herself as she followed Jae trough the narrow streets of Knockturn Alley. "To be fair, I did tell you to be ready to run at a moment notice." Jae glanced at the Slytherin beside him before focusing back on the path ahead. "Yeah, okay, okay, but still. Rude," She teased and poked him in the ribs. "Be glad you're no longer sneezing bats," Jae smirked and bumped his shoulder against that of his friend. "Yeah, alright, I'll admit. You knowing the counter curse was extremely helpful," She chuckled and pulled a face as she touched her nose. "Still, it felt extremely weird. Ten out of ten would not recommend." Jae snorted as the two finally left Knockturn Alley behind. The young curse breaker sighed content and wrapped an arm around Jae's waist. "We still got plenty of time before we need to be in our common rooms. Wanna go to Hogsmeade for a bit?" "Well," Jae smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "I'll never say no to a butterbeer." Marina's grin widened as she grabbed the Gryffindor by the wrist and started pulling him along. "Then let's go!"

"With all due respect but Gryffindor has no chance of still winning the quidditch cup." Marina chuckled as Jae gave her a mock-offended look. "It's the truth! Sure, Charlie is a great seeker and you guys got a decent keeper but the Slytherin's beaters and chasers are way superior." "You're only saying that because you're one of the beaters, Rina," Jae smirked and took a gulp from his drink. "Hey, you're not arguing." She grinned and blew a piece of hair out of her face. "That's because," The boy waited until his friend's attention was on a stray piece of hair before quickly grabbing her drink and taking a gulp. "Jae, what the hell?" The brunette laughed and swatted at him playfully. "This is why I'm not arguing. You talk about quidditch and then get distracted, perfect opportunity to steal your food or drink." He smirked while Marina quickly grabbed her drink back. "You're a dick." "Thanks," He laughed while Marina quickly gulped the rest of her butterbeer down. "Hey, don't try to drown yourself in butterbeer." "You can't tell me what to do," Marina smirked and stuck her tongue out at him and Jae simply mimicked her actions. While the two friends were teasing and taunting one another, madam Rosmerta collected their dirty dishes. "I'd hurry back to Hogwarts if I were you two. If you go now you might make it back before it starts raining." Rosmerta advised the students and pointed at a window, to make her point clearer. "You're probably right, Madam." Marina sighed and paid for the drinks as the two got up and exit the inn. "Geez, I really don't like the look of those clouds. We better move on," Jae sighed as the two stared at the sky, which was littered with grey clouds. "At least we're not in Knockturn Alley anymore," Marina muttered to herself while Jae pulled her along the road back to the castle. It was starting to drizzle but from the looks of it, the rain would start getting heavy soon. "That'll keep us from being wet, but not from being cold," Jae sighed slightly before letting out a small yelp from where Marina poked him in his sides. "No being sad, rain is fun too." She pouted slightly and grabbed his hand. "Besides, we had fun today. Especially you when I got hit by the bat bogey hex." "Okay, but you would have also laughed if the roles had been reversed," Jae chuckled and grabbed her hand. "Heh, m-maybe you're right." She huffed slightly and looked to the side to hide the blush settling on her cheeks. "Maybe or definitely?" Jae smirked and pinched her cheek, which earned him a playful glare while Marina swatted at him again. "You missed." "Oh shush," Marina laughed but grew quiet when it started raining hard. "Quick, come on." He smiled and started running towards the castle while dragging Marina along with him. "Oh, finally!" The Slytherin laughed as the two made it inside the castle. "I thought you were the one saying that rain could be fun." Jae teased as he tried to catch his breath from running all the way. "Not when it's raining dogs and cats, it's not." She smirked slightly and leaned against the wall for support. Her smirk dropped slightly as she looked at her friend with concern. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine, I'm used to running from angry witches and wizards. Running from rain isn't bad at all." Jae winked at her, while Marina rolled her eyes playfully. "Sadly tho, we are idiots who didn't even cast the umbrella charm so now we're soaked," She sighed and wrung her hair out. Jae frowned slightly at his friend before his face lit up the way it always did when he got an idea. "Here, to prevent you from getting sick," He grinned as he took off his iconic yellow sweater. "J-Jae, what are you doing?" Marina flushed as she tried her best not to glance at Jae, who's wet blouse clung to his chest and left little up to the imagination. "Duh, you get cold quickly, so take it." Jae smiled and held out his sweater to the Slytherin. "If you don't, I'll tell Rowan you actually got hit by a hex this time." Marina gasped over dramatically as she took the sweater from his hands. "You wouldn't dare!" "Try me," Jae winked with a smirk while Marina pulled the sweater over her head. "Better?" "Yeah, thanks." She smiled at him while trying to fix the hood that was covering her eyes for the biggest part. "Not a problem at all," Jae smiled and couldn't help but take a mental note of how adorable she looked. It was especially cute because of their height difference, Jae being a head taller than Marina, and the fact that Marina would have to roll up the sleeves if she wanted to be able to use her hands. "What are you smiling at, weirdo?" She yawned as she caught a glimpse of Jae's expression. "At some weird snake who's drowning in my sweater." He simply smiled and grabbed her hand. "Come on, I'll walk you to your common room. Wouldn't want you to fall in sleep before you even reach the kitchens, right?" "That only happened once, quit your whining," She chuckled but intertwined their fingers as she walked along with him. "I'll give you your sweater back tomorrow, okay?" "Take your time. Wear it to class for all I care." He smirked, which earned him yet another playful swat at his arm. "Now hurry and go to the Gryffindor tower, you dork." Marina smiled as they arrived at the Slytherin common room. "Yeah yeah," Jae smiled and ruffled her hair. Marina sighed mockingly and fixed her hair before she hugged him tightly. "Night Jae." "Night Rina," He smiled and kissed her forehead quickly before he walked away, leaving Marina with a goofy smile and burning cheeks.

Day 2/7

You felt day 1 of your last few day’s to live was wasted. You mostly spent it crying and saying goodbye to the team. Peter told you that you shouldn’t be saying goodbye to them, but you did anyways.

Today you wanted to the things you’ve always wanted to do. Thanks to Tony you could do many of those things in one day. 

First was skydiving. Every since you heard about skydiving you’ve wanted to do it but thanks to your moms low income you never got a chance.

“You ready to go?” Tony asked, making sure you’re okay to do this.

“Of course.” You were ecstatic to do this. “What about you, Pete?”

“Uh, y-yeah.” Peter said sounding nervous. Truth be told he was terrified to do this.

“Are you sure?” You didn’t want Peter doing anything he didn’t want to do.

“Y-yeah of course I want to do this” His voice went up at least 2 octaves.

“Are you afraid to go skydiving?” Tony would have made total fun of him but decided not to go too hard in him. “Your Spider-Man, you could just catch yourself if you had to.”

“I-I know but everyone since The Vulure kinda threw from a very high point and I almost drowned because of a parachute I’m kinda afraid of doing things like skydiving.” He said in one breath

“You don’t have to go if you want to, we do something else.”

“No no let’s do this I can get over my fears.” Peter sounded like he could do it so you trusted him.

“Let’s go.” You said as you grabbed his hand and hopped onto the elevator that just arrived.

You could feel the nervousness radiating off of Peter but you were pretty distracted as you were riding to the skydiving place in Tony’s helicopter.

Riding in a helicopter was also on your list and it was way more fun than you thought.

Peter actually really enjoyed the helicopter ride. Not that he’d ever tell you, but that might have been the moment he realized he was in love with you. He’s loved you since the day he met you but right now he can’t look away from you. You’re going to die in 6 days and yet you’re so care free, you look so happy. You’re not going to graduate high school but you don’t care, you live in the moment like your world isn’t ending. He might even be a little jealous.

He loves you.

He loves you but he can’t tell you.

He can’t tell you because he needs you to enjoy your last few days without thinking about feelings. He doesn’t want to mess up this amazing spot you’re in. Telling you how he feels is going to ruin this care free, happy person. It’s going to add in feelings that are unnecessary when trying to live in the moment.

You finally arrive at the ground, landing next to a car. Because you were on a helicopter and skydiving takes place partly on a plane, you had to land farther away for safety reasons. You had so much fun on the helicopter ride you didn’t notice Peter staring at you the whole time.

You hop out of the helicopter and you try to smooth your hair. “Yay! I’m so excited!” You exclaim after getting closer to the building.

“Me too!” Peter yells but it’s much more unsteady.

Tony walked next to Peter. “You’ll be fine Pete, did you bring your webshooters.”

“I’ve only been checking that they’re there every five minutes.” You’ve noticed Peter does that a lot when he gets nervous.

“Don’t be nervous, I got you.” You grab his hand to help calm him down. And of course it works.

You get in the car and drive the short distance to the building. Once you get there, y’all check in and get suited up. Because none of you have done this before, you had to watch a safety video. Before you knew it, you’re getting into a plane that would soon, in Peters words, drop you to your death.

“Peter, I’m not going to die.” You assured him.

He thought “Not today you’re not.” but he didn’t want to bring the mood down.

You eventually made it. You were nearing the drop off zone and getting very excited. Your excitement was rubbing off on Peter because he stopped messing with his webshooters.

“Are you ready Peter?!” You yelled. You had to because it was so loud.

“Yeah!”

“How about you Tony?!”

He replied with two thumbs up knowing you wouldn’t hear him.

The intructor was saying more words but you weren’t listening until he said “Alright, 3...2...1...go!” And everyone jumped.

It was exhilarating. You were free falling with the people you loved most. You managed to get closer to Peter and grabbed his hand. “Isn’t this amazing!” You screamed.

“It really is!” Peter yelled back. He got over his fear. He was having the time of his life.

As you neared the ground you had to let go so you could let out your parachute.

The intructor let out his parachute, giving the rest of y’all the go ahead to do the same.

Once you landed you were unclipped from your parachute and you could not stop jumping and yelling “Whoohoo!!” And “That was so much fun!” You can feel the adrenaline running through you. You imagine this is what Peter feels like when he’s swinging through Queens.

Once you got back to the compound you couldn’t stop telling everyone how much fun you had. You even made some of them jealous as they’ve never gotten the chance to do something like that. Yeah they’ve jumped out planes but never for fun, mostly to land and kill someone.

You were sitting upside down, feet on the head of the chair and your head hanging off, when Tony asked, “What’s next?”

You looked up. “Next? Theres more?” You replied confused. You thought all you were doing was skydiving.

“Yeah, we have to knock out at least 5 things on your list if you want to finish it.”

You turn around completely in the chair and sit up. “We’re finishing the list?”

“Yeah of course we are.”

You grabbed the short list from your back pocket and read carefully. There weren’t many on it. Just some fun things you heard about. Skydiving, riding in a helicopter, and owning a parrot were a few on there. “It’s kind of short, if we do 5 today there might not be many left on here.”

“Perfect, pick one more.”

“Wanna go to a pet store?”

“You want to vist a pet store?”

“No I want to get a pet.”

“No pets. That’s my one rule. No pets.”

“Please?” It didn’t take much more convincing.

“Fine, do you want a dog, cat, maybe a fish?”

You smiled. “A parrot.”

He was speechless. “A-a parrot?”

“Yes. A parrot.”

He closed his eyes and sighed. “...lets go.”

“Yay! Let me go get Peter.”

“He’s not coming with.”

“Yes he is.”

“No he’s not, he’s gonna want to get every pet and he won’t leave until he does.”

You stared him right into the eyes and said, “FRIDAY tell Peter to come here.”

Peter walked in a few minutes later. “What’s happening, is this a staring contest?”

“It wasn’t at first but I’m going to win.” You said without breaking eye contact.

“No your not.”

Peter walked up and clapped right in front of your faces and you both blinked. “Peter!”

You chased him around the couch.

“Can we just go already.”

“Go where?” Peter stopped running.

You tackled and said “Pet store.” You got up and said “I’m gonna get a Parrot.”

“You letting her get a parrot?”

“Sadly.” Tony said “Let’s just go.”

The second y’all walked in Peter ran straight to the puppy’s “Oh my god they’re so cute!” He then sprinted to the bunny’s then the cats then the fish then the geckos and struggled to keep up with him.

“Peter! Remember why we’re here!”

“Uh yeah, right, a parrot.”

When you found the birds Tony was already there. “Which one do you want?”

You stared intently at them 10 minutes. Peter joining in about 3 minutes in.

“What are you guys doing?”

“Shh! They’re speaking to me.” Peter nodded slowly.

“This one.” You pointed to a bright blue and red one in the middle of the birds. He was singing some song with a few other birds.

“Let’s just hurry up and get it.”

“It? It?! This bird has a name, a gender, you don’t call them an it?!”

Tony laughed at your dramatics. “I’ll get a worker.”

“What would you like to call him?” The worker asked while getting the paperwork finished.

“Spider-Chirp.”

Peter busted out laughing and Tony looked like a disappointed father.

“Don’t forget the hyphen.” That just made Peter laugh even harder, he was always so picky about the hyphen.

Tony had no idea how you kept such a straight and serious face the whole time.

The worker seemed confused and tired, probably used to bullshit like this.

Tony payed for everything the bird needs and everyone got back in the car.

“So who’s gonna take care of Spider-Chirp when I’m gone?” You heard yourself say. It just came out abruptly, not really meaning to bring down the mood, just wanting to make sure your new friend had a home in 6 days.

“Were gonna figure this about Y/N, don’t worry about Spider-Chirp,” It was very difficult for him not to laugh, “You’re gonna your live”

You admired Peters confidence, his ability to hope for the best even when you knew it wouldn’t happen. You just smiled back at him, not saying anything, you let him hope, even though that bird would definitely out live you for many years. Or maybe not you have no idea how long birds live. Maybe you should have gotten a goldfish or something.

“Alright it’s getting late, what you like to eat?”

“Anything.”

“Anything? There’s nowhere you’d like to go?”

You’re planning on telling her the day before your inevitable death. That gives y’all enough time to find out if there is a way to save you while also being able to say goodbye to your mom.

“-/N, are you okay?”

You snapped your head towards Peter and said “huh?”

“Your just staring off into space, are you okay?”

Everyone had finished eating and left but you stayed seated staring at absolutely nothing.

“Oh, yeah I’m fine. Lost in my thoughts I guess.” You said with little emotion, Peter didn’t ask why, though, because he knew why. “I’m tired so I’m just gonna go to sleep.”

“Yeah, yeah, of course. Hand me your plate and I will put it in the dishwasher.” You did as he asked and left to go to your room.

You didn’t sleep much that night, mostly your birds fault, Spider-Chirp lived up to his name and chirped all night. You did manage to get a few hours in after reading that putting a sheet or blanket over the cage will make them believe it’s night and that would make them quiet. The moon was too bright and the window was too big so you guess that’s why the bird was awake.

Tomorrow is a big day.

Tell me your opinions on BatB 2017 (it's one of those things where left to myself I'll dislike it, but I am capable of flipping a mental switch and appreciating a bunch of things about it. ("Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes."))

i know its been like 15 years since you sent this but here we go. I liked the beauty and the beast live action movie for three main reasons. 1.) more detailed individual character growth 2.) good updates to the music 3.) gastoni mean, everything that people complain about is totally right, theres a lot of wonky stuff in the movie but idk i still just think its funand as a note before i start getting into it, i realized one big thing i liked when i watched linsay ellis’s video on youtube when she complained bc there wasnt very much romance but THATS WHY I LIKED IT LOL. the movie is more concerned with belle’s and beast’s individual character growth than their romance AND TBH if this movie had gone the way of maleficent and purposely shunned romantic love for the power of platonic love honestly that would have been a MUCH stronger plot line. beast and belle had real bff vibes. ah what could have been...

ok so 1.) character plots. this was a very 50/50 split bc gaston and beast got well developed arcs, belle only got like half way through hers before it was dropped, and the servants was like.....you didnt even try did u.gaston ill get to later, but the beast i loved cause he had more lines where he was just being chill and not sad or angry, unlike in the original. his story was very much about unlearning toxic masculinity and stopping the cycle of abuse from his dad, and i thought that was way cooler than the “changed by belle’s love” trope. they seemed a lot more like friends and shared common interests in books. and like. when beast scoffs at belle cause she likes a “girly” book like romeo and juliet but then she catches him reading it and enjoying it later? thats good stuff man. thats gooood stuff. 

and just like. the song where hes singing to his mom “not until my whole life is done will i ever leave you.....” AND THEN HIS MOM DIES AND HIS DAD LEADS HIM AWAY reblog uf u crie evry tiem.... and then when they go thru the book thing and he’s like Oh Paris I Love Paris What Shall We See First!!! an absolute cutieBelle’s story really started going somewhere and im mad that it just ended like “figured out my origin story so guess im cool now” like no. they had a really good line in the song that went “i was innocent and certain, now im wiser but unsure” and then that’s never resolved! like belle has always been such a cool character who didnt let beast walk all over her and when he finally figured out her boundaries, thats when they could start to communicate like hello?? awesome woman alert and you just let that drop?? and everyone says that belle’s backstory abt her mom wasnt needed and theyre probs right but the scene where beast is like Paris?! meanwhile belle brooding in the background. good stuff. belle’s song, the plague doctor, her dad being forced to leave his wife behind.........................good food man good foodand the servants everyone has talked abt. the whole “it was our fault the beast was abused” nonsense, plus in general their line abt “whats a servant without serving”, and that evil village lady reuniting with cogsworth and its played off as a joke, like why do you gotta do these good men and woman dirty like that2.) music?? good!!!! good music. days in the sun? good. gaston song?? good!! kill the beast!!! so good. it was all good.3.) Gaston!!!!!!!!!! a problematic fave wow!!! i think what really makes him good is the actor choice. i generally dont care abt actors so i dont know anything abt the man, but he seems like a good guy ya know. if the actor was sketch playing a bad character id be like ew but cause the actor seems nice and hes playing a bad character im like whoohoo!! is that weird? idk whateverGaston’s descend into evilness is like. the character arc of the decade my man. the way you expect him to do his douchey thing in the beginning like in the original, but he’s actually not that bad, and u know he DOES have a point abt spinsters not able to thrive in this time period, like guilt tripping not cool, but he didnt say “women shouldnt read!!” so thats a step upand he like. genuinely wanted to win her over by helping her dad. like he really tried but belle’s dad really pushed all his villain buttons man! so he did a bad thing like not cool dude. and then!!!! then he’s got to stick with it and defend himself against the townspeople. they’re not madly in love with him so he’s got to MAKE them that way. the way he turns around that conversation was SO good and roping lefou in against his will and jumping on the kill the beast thing to save his own skin. and from there he’s just gotta keep going!! he’s gotta hunt down the beast not just for belle but for himself and his standing in the village. like i just thought that whole spiral was done SOOO well. best part of the movie tbh. and even tho lefou’s sexuality was problematic, it really added to his and gaston’s arcs of one person becoming evil and their close friend jumping ship on the situation bc they know that their loved one is wrong.so like. yeah. live action beauty and the beast, man.

i apparently sleep on my stomach with my arms over my pillow and my right leg hanging off of my bed. i wake up on my back or on my side hugging my... bolster? i think that's what it's called. the sausage shaped pillows

40. weirdest thing to ever happen at your school?

a monitor lizard got into my school once when i was about 10 years old and started coming straight to my classroom during lunch. i didn't realise but everyone else was screaming so i ran into the classroom with them and closed the door and screamed like i knew what i was happening. about half a semester later a different monitor lizard got it and also headed towards that classroom which was weird but i was on a field trip so i didnt really notice
