With the year coming to a close I knew I wasn't going to get everything I wanted to finish or even try done, but I still had things I could do of course.

Drawing is the easiest as I can do that anywhere. Both of the ones I did this month took from 15-20hrs start to finish. But something was going to get in my way...

At the beginning of the month I was hit by a car on my walk home from work. I managed to walk home and at the insistence of my husband went to the ER to make sure nothing was broken. Thankfully nothing was, but healing is and will take time. That said I couldn't craft because sitting normally at the table hurt my knee a lot. Even sitting at my desk at the office killed me.

Thanks to a coworker who found a step stool I could elevate my leg with a little bit, I was able at least return to drawing some.

After doing the redo of Luscia in the lake (inspired from a screenshot from LUNAR 2 Eternal Blue) I wanted to reimagine it slightly.

And this is what I came up with. Lus had just stepped into the water before turning her gaze to the moon and this is what Dem sees. I am very proud of this one, especially the scales. That took A LOT of patience.

I have been resting my leg since the accident and I finally deemed it well enough to try and sit at the table for some crafts. I will say sitting with my knee bent for two hours isn't ideal as it became very sore and super stiff. So, if I was gonna craft, I was gonna need to take breaks and the squishy I started was the best way to force breaks since I needed to wait for the paint to dry between layers.

If you guessed I was making Keith's wolf, Kosmo, than you wete correct! I have mad respect for those who do these on the regular, this was not easy. But, for my first try ever I think he came out great and super cute!

And as the year got closer to the end I wanted to draw at least one more pic.

I made a glamour inspired by Bayonetta and just had to draw it. Originally I hated it, things just looked weird, but then I doodled a chibi version (no pic to post. I haven't scanned it) and went back to it and I actually really like it now. I might change a couple shadows, but yeah, I love it.

And as of 11:30pm est, I finished my friend's FFXIV figurine I started a year ago with Nerdecrafter's Not Another Crap Kit.

I had the whole idea of making it look like he was in the middle of the lotus from Scortch. The petals are a little skewed, but I made it work with what I had. The method I had watched didn't work as the tape that the wire was attached to completely cured with the resin instead of being able to be peeled off. When it didn't work after three attempts I decided to freehand a mold and that worked more or less, I still cant quite get them to hold the bendy shape, but for my first attempt I think I did okay.

I'm so proud of myself for actually completing my New Year's resolution. It was fun and I learned a lot. Just because I don't finish something right then on the day I started doesn't mean I never will. Sometimes things just won't work and require more research or an alternative to see it through.

Here's to more art in 2023, whether it be a big project or small, stay creative! 🖤❤

AAaaaaaa I started writing out a post talkin about my bday but fell asleep pretty soon after finishing up everything else for the night so lemme get this all typed up now!

I just wanna give a hugeeeee thank you and hugs and tears to my amazing friends and family, this was my best birthday in YEARS. ;w; I went into it not expecting anything other than a normal day since the last few years have been really shitty and I didn't wanna get my hopes up, but everyone was just so!! Kind and thoughtful in the most soft and personal ways, nothin extravagant or anything but, little personal shows of love or really knowing me that absolutely melted my heart!!

It started off the second it hit midnight with a super cute and excited message from my bestest Tim which made me go to sleep smiling like an idiot sgadhaj and then I woke up to some super cute bday drawings from friends!!! ;o;

My brother came home with the Valentine's Dunkin donuts that I love so much on his way home from LA since he knew I wouldn't have had the chance to get them earlier, along with getting me a super bright and colorful high quality eye shadow palette since he knows I love doing extra colorful makeup!! He said he thought it suited me and it was just such a cute personal touch and ahhh.... I cry... ;w; My little sister drew one of my favorite scenes from Borderlands 2 on my birthday card that I have been gushing about and IT'S THE CUTEST THING!!! LOOK AT THIS!!

So wholesome asdghasdj!! My other lil sis drew a pic of her and I on her card and worked very hard to get my hair side swoop just right and I’d post a pic of that too but my phone is dead rn so adghasdhasj maybe I’ll do a photo post in a bit!

My mom got me a really cool joker figurine and shirt since she knows I love my best boi, as well as some white cheddar cheez its which seems silly but is honestly super cute cause just last week we were at the dollar tree and I excitedly grabbed them, proclaiming them as my favorite flavor, but was reminded that her, my bro and I were about to get lunch so I was like “aaaaah heck ur right” bUT SHE REMEMBERED I WANTED THEM AND GOT ME A BUNCH OF BAGS,,, THAT’S SO CUTE,,,, and then my mum and stepdad noticed I’ve been dying in my raggedy old computer chair and they bought me a nice new one and just!! Idk every gift was so thoughtful and sweet and!! aaaaAAAA!! Not to mention my mom made an absolutely bangin ice cream cake using my very specific favorite ice cream flavor (breyer’s chocolate truffle ice cream mmmmm) and I’m just still so excited about everything days later >w<

My family and one of my best buddies all joined me at one of the fancy AMC theaters with the reclining chairs to watch the Sonic movie which was aBSURDLY CUTE!!!! And my friend gave me a huge bar of my fave kind of chocolate in the world ehehehe aND A LOT MORE SWEET FRIENDS OF MINE ARE STILL WORKIN ON GIFTS FOR ME WHICH IS THE NICEST THING AND I CR Y AND JUST!!! FEEL SO LOVED!! I love you guyssssssssss so much ToT <3333

Beginning

Intro: Wednesday 05/06/19 - So I’ve been wanting to start a short journal about what I do, how I do it, and just document some things in regards to my life. The issue is I am notoriously known for starting something and never going ahead with the task at hand so, it really wouldn’t surprise me if I give this up after a week or so. Nevertheless I am going to do a beginning post, because why the f**k not never hurt to try something new. It’s currently cold, I’m drinking tea, and wondering how I should upload this cute selfie of myself onto instagram. By the time this post is done, that selfie will be up and... this whole sentence will be pointless :) In this post i’ll go through some pondering things, experiences, and also a bonus paragraph down the bottom :)

Podcast?: I’ve been going to gym for the past three weeks now, just to give myself that little bit of get up and go I really need and... it’s been going surprisingly well. I mean, haven’t been getting out of bed as early as I would like, but I have been getting to the gym and doing a decent amount of cardio. And while exercising I’ve been doing something I don’t normally do. Listen to podcasts, art podcasts in fact, and man - sometimes it really does give me the drive to keep pushing through some of the stuff I’m facing every day. Just hearing some of the misery and hardships that other artists face, is really helping me provide a positive outlook on my day. Especially with the traumatic experience of my last *creative* job, causing me to dive into an existential depression. We live in such a visual culture because of social media applications, where all this status is represented by high living, beauty, and large numbers; and that this is what the actual representation of the artist is. Yet completely ignoring other factors and points which have more importance and significance over the work. And sometimes, so many people just forget having a laugh at all the serious wank that is produced today is more than often really how art should actually be received. And that’s a positive not a negative. I’ll link the references of what art podcasts I’ve been listening to down the bottom.

So this all got me to thinking... what if I did a podcast? Would it be engaging? Would people listen? Is my voice pleasing to the ear? Am I just copying my flatmate, or am I merely just inspired by him? These are all questions I’ve been thinking about, and also... am I as a person with feelings and opinions INTERESTING? ? ? I feel like to some extent I am, maybe, hopefully - is that self-centered to say? I just think I’m over the top, so, charisma I can supply. So I’ve kind of been mentally brainstorming some ideas around about what I could talk about, trending topics, the execution, the attraction - and I think I’m gonna take the dive. I’m inviting my friend Gen along, who I think would really help support the engagement and just keep the whole thing entertaining. Title idea - Shan & Gen Talk About Shiz. It’s a working progress.

Panic Attack: On other news, two nights ago I had the unfortunate experience of having a panic attack completely out of the blue which was definitely not fun. The whole weekend I had been feeling quite shit, some things just weren’t adding up, and for the whole time I was in the state of a bad mood. So before that, me and Gen had spent some time working on the creation of our *handmade* tote bags (which is going very slowly through trail and error). So after that, I came back home and did what I always do - hopped on the computer to do some work. I’m currently working for a small charity and *attempting* to design some motion graphics for them. So while I sat there at my computer looking at the screen, my head just became blank all of a sudden. I was very tired. Very tired. My breathing became slow and hard. The idea of bed wasn’t an option, I had to go to bed. So I slowly, walked up the stairs, jumped into bed, and put myself under the covers. I kept there in silence with my eyes open, for around twenty minutes. I truly believed I was lying. To then shorten things up, I knew I was in a bad place. I don’t know what caused it, how it happened, or why it was happening; but I knew I needed help. So I did what I always do in these situations - I called my mum up. I spoke with her for about an hour, doing breathing exercises and listened to her voice. I then sat up and started building a small nano-block figurine of a sexy bunny girl?? thanks japan. I messaged Gen to get some Valium, so she came over helped me out and just had some casual conversation with me. Thanks to drugs, I ended up falling asleep peacefully in the comfort of my sheets. Luckily the next day I woke up feeling a lil woozy, and a small headache - but recovered from my incident. 

Conclusion: I could write a whole lot more, but I think I’ll keep it short and sweet for now and leave those other topics for another day. This week has been a challenge one for me, and truthfully I feel every week for me is challenging all in different aspects. But it’s nice to know I’ve got people rely on, and come help me when I’m having an emergency. I think lately these downfalls all come to the factor that I am as a person creatively lost a bit. I did a degree which I don’t want to utilize, I had a job which I fucking hated, and the capitalist nature in which our society functions is depressing. So what does this mean for me? Well, I don’t know haha - but I don’t think it hurts to just keep living, trying out new avenues in creativity and just experiment with things. And whilst I’m not making any money off of these little projects, I’m gaining experience in new fields and most importantly having fun with it. Fingers crossed I won’t be receiving any future panic attacks, but *just* in case, I did go to the doctors and have gotten some good stuff for those emergency situations. So until next time, if you’ve made it this far thanks for being fab. I’ll post some cute things below. ♡ THG Reread, Week Six: Fandom Swag

As I am not a Lionsgate fan, my fandom swag is a little…different. :)

While When the Moon is a massive part of my life, I’ve tried not to make this post too WtM-centric, though the influence is certainly apparent even in these few select pics, in which we have: 

1. My “Katniss” Funko - actually, the Snow White Funko from Once Upon a Time, but when I saw her in the store she looked so much more like Katniss than any of the movie!Katniss Funkos - she even has a little “rabbit-skin” muffler (which is from the WtMiverse and Peeta’s to boot, but still!) - that I had to take her home. I mean, she’s got long black hair (with teeny little side-braids!), hunting boots, a bow with an arrow at the string - and she’s at least one shade darker than -

2. The Lionsgate Peeta Funko, for whom I ultimately caved, in part to give fierce, lonely little Katniss her helpmate but also because he’s more consistently blonde than Josh!Peeta and he has the spear (for WtMiverse purposes :D). By the bye, Katniss is only taller than him here because she’s anchored on a base - her teeny-tiny feet can’t free-stand!

3. My “Mr. Everdeen” Funko - and yes, he’s the Bodhi Rook Funko from Rogue One. :D My roommate and I both love Bodhi and Funko finally made a special, after-the-fact POP for him, which she bought me as a surprise. I was going to keep him in the box but the more I looked at him, the more I realized he’d make an awesome Jack Everdeen (tell me his little flight suit and goggles couldn’t be mining gear if you squint!). So now he’s looking out for his little girl in -

4. My When the Mooniverse tableau. This is by no means the sum total of WtMesque stuff I own (lol!!) - this is just the “concise” display. ;) There’s a Father Christmas (with real rabbit-skin trim on his robe!), several white bears, a doe and a fawn, foxes, and a sleigh, just to name a few things. The little cabin behind Peeta was made by @ghtlovesthg, who also gave me the glass mourning dove, @reylo-the-jedi crocheted the blue-eyed white bear (with a “prosthetic” hind paw!) and gave me the teeny white bear and the red handkerchief as well, and @findingxeno sent me the teeny-tiny fox and deer figurines. ♡ (And the feather lying in front of Jack and Katniss was a present from a real mourning dove, just this past week! She was sitting in the driveway as Lucky and I were coming back from a walk and she waited till we were quite close before flying away and leaving us one perfect feather! ♡)

P.S. The Krennic Funko does correlate with someone in the WtMiverse (and no, he’s not my fancast President Snow!), but it’s somewhat spoilery at present… And yes, the tableau currently resides atop my bookshelf of fairy tales. Peeta, the isbjørn, and the cabin sit atop my stack of retellings of “East of the Sun and West of the Moon” and the Katie Thamer-illustrated The Song of Songs, Which is Solomon’s... For, y’know, no reason in particular. :D

On a sidenote: I have a wishlist of additional “fancast” Funkos that I want to get someday for my WtM tableau. As/if I manage to pick them up, I’ll add them to the display and post pics. :)

5. A few Christmases ago Target had these awesome little doll ornaments and I found a pair that look just like a festive wintertime Katniss and Prim. :) They’re usually displayed with their respective bear-princes (see Photo #4), but I was trying to keep this post small and focused. ;)

6-7. My friendship with Shannon of False Nostalgia - Shiny Scents & Sundries began shortly after I finished reading MJ and started seeking out fandom stuff on Etsy - here particularly, handcrafted fragrances. The jar labeled “Real or Not Real” contains the priceless dregs of a Peeta-scented candle (notes of bread and dandelions! ♡ I don’t think she makes these any longer so I’ve been rationing it over the past six years), and the little tins in the next pic are solid perfumes. The Katniss scent was ultimately relabeled “The Mockingjay” and has lovely earth-and-leather notes (I had to dab some on after taking the picture - I haven’t worn it in so long and it’s heavenly!), and Hey Catnip is woodsmoke and toasted marshmallow, I believe (I love woodsmoke scents and opted to give it a try, in spite of the Gale ;D). 

Shortly after discovering the magic workshop that is False Nostalgia, I threw a Hunger Games bachelorette party for a friend (I may be making a post about that later - lots of silliness and fangirling and no classic “bachelorette party” stuff whatsoever) and Shannon made a fabulous batch of customized goody bags for the attendees - oh, and did I mention? She created a fragrance called Tribute Train, based on my latte creation of the same name (rich hot chocolate + honey, spices, and toast! ♡), that I believe she still sells in a soap. Her shop is on vacation at the moment so I can’t tell you how many of these scents are currently available, alas, but they’re absolutely as awesome as you would imagine. Go favorite her shop - you won’t regret it!

8. While shopping for the aforementioned Hunger Games bachelorette party, I discovered that Bad Bitch Cosmetics had a Hunger Games line so I had to order little samples for all of the attendees. :D Unfortunately, these are no longer available (possibly for the same reason as our next item :/), but you’re more than welcome to borrow mine if you like!

9-10. No bridal party is complete without flowers, and in my bachelorette planning I was over the moon to learn that Greencycledesigns carried paper flowers made from repurposed copies of THG. I ordered a set of five (one each for the bride, we three bridesmaids, and my sister, who helped host the party) and made sure to keep an awesome one for myself (Peeta’s reaping and the bread scene flashback!). :) But the sad end of this story is that a year or so ago, I went back to Greencycle to buy another round of THG flowers, this time for a good fandom friend, but they were nowhere to be found. So I sent the shop owner a message and learned that she got a C&D notice from Lionsgate, telling her not to make flowers with “their” books anymore. (I don’t even know where to start with that!) Which I guess makes this last item a particular rarity! :(

My mom (former house painter) says a) use blue painters tape instead and b) if you can't, take the cutting tape off as soon as it won't make the paint run to do so

Oh, that was blue painter’s tape -- but unfortunately I realized after that “sharp edge” blue painters tape really means “sticks extra hard to whatever you stick it on”  :D Fortunately most of the rest of that roll is stuck to metal without paint on it, and most of the stuff stuck to paint is normal painter’s tape.��

That was my first thought! “Goddamn now I gotta spackle the ceiling.” 

I should have just bought the big bucket of spackle. I’m on small tub of spackle #3. On the other hand, once you use up the spackle and give the tub a wipe-down, it makes a handy cup for paint when you’re doing detail work.

It does look good in some of those photos, doesn’t it? It’s just so covered in grossness -- the wood looks nice, but the rungs and such looks pretty disgusting up close, and there’s what might be a rust issue with some of the hardware. I’m still considering it, and I might just paint the rungs, but it definitely could do with something to cover up all the weird stains.

Admittedly some of those weird stains are from me putting paintbrushes on it.

Yeah, I’m big time excited at the idea of an app that can program my thermostat. And this one, while not a Nest, apparently has a doodad where if you go outside a certain geographic range it automatically senses that you’re on vacation and goes into “nobody home” mode, which is amazing.

I don't have a nest, but I managed to install a fancy wifi thermostat twice. Once in a 60s era apartment and once in a 50s era remodeled house. You should be fine. Just TAKE A PICTURE of the original wiring before you start. I cannot emphasize that enough. Once you’re knee deep in wires is not the time to realize you goofed.

Very sensible advice, other people have said similar. Plus that way I can share with you all the gross crusty one that’s there now before my nice new one is put in! :D

peel and stick vinyl tile is heat and wear resistant, stupid easy to install, and in many patterns less than $1 a foot. It's a great choice if you want to do something fresh but don't want to lay down a ton of money. It won't do a lot for your resale value but if you want to put off professional reflooring for a good 10 years it's peachy.

I do think there’s probably enough left in the box I found to do the kitchen...I’m wondering how hard it would be to pull up the tiles that are there now. Perhaps it’s time to grab a chisel and investigate!

Jezebel did an article on DIY vinyl tape flooring. It looks like a fair amount of work, but it’s inexpensive and not out of your skill set. Here for instructions and here for an example that doesn’t make the eyes bleed.

I was gonna say, that first one is VIVID. 

I can’t deny that it looks like a lot of fun, but my knees are whining just thinking about it :D

I think I’m going to go with my original idea of putting hooks in and hanging my keys on them -- this is YET ANOTHER Chicago condo with a door that you literally can’t set to unlock. No matter what you do to the knob, if the door closes behind you it locks. So like in the place I’m in now, I want to make sure the last thing I see before I open the door are my keys, as a reminder to take them with me. How better to remind me than a big red square where they hang? :D

SERVERTALE Chapter 14: Fight through the Core, for the Core

Alphys calls Frisk Alphys: S-see that building in the distance? That’s the Core. The source of everything in the Computerworld. It wouldn’t exist without it. While it is giant for us, in the real world, it represents the motherboard of the Computer. That’s where we’re going now. And from there... You can go home.  Alphys hangs up. Frisk continues to follow the path until she reaches an elevator. Above the entrance of it, there’s a sign that says R1. Frisk enters the elevator and goes to right floor two. Frisk: How much of the Computerworld have we passed by now? Chara: We’re halfway through... I think. I don’t remember everything perfectly, but I do remember that there will be more guards in one of the next areas, so we’ll need to be careful. Frisk: Well, Sans had a station at Snowdin and Datafall, maybe we’ll meet him soon and he’ll be able to help us out. The elevator reaches its destination and Frisk walks out. the first thing she sees is Sans with his station, which somehow still has snow on it. Chara: Looks like sooner than you think. Frisk runs up to Sans. Frisk: Hi Sans! Sans: hey buddy. what’s up? you’ve already met alphys, i see. Frisk: How do you know that? Sans points to Frisk’s boots. Frisk: Oh, yeah. So, you and Alphys know each other? Sans: yup. we shared a few science projects before i decided that being a sentry is less of a demanding job. Frisk: Since you’re working with the guards, do you maybe know if the rest of the monsters know about me? Frisk gets on the treadmill and presses the two switches along the way. She gets ready to press the third switch, but her phone starts ringing and distracts her, making her miss the last switch. Chara: Great, now we missed it. When she reaches the end, Frisk answers the call. Alphys: OK! Now press the third one!!! Alphys notices that Frisk has already crossed the treadmill and the laser disappears anyway. Alphys: H-h-hey! Looks like you!!! Only needed to press! Two of them!!! Chara: Is it to late to go back for Sans? Frisk ignores Chara’s comment and continues forward. Alphys updates her status and says that she won’t be helping Frisk with puzzles anymore, before calling her to say that she won’t be able to help for some time. Luckily, Frisk doesn’t need help, since she is in a room full of steam vents. Frisk: How about we skip this one? Chara: What do you mean, skip? Frisk activates her rocket boots and flies over the whole puzzle to the other side. Chara: Well played Frisk. Frisk: I know. They reach another save point. Frisk uses the save point and keeps getting forward. She keeps getting status updates from Alphys, but ignores them, since Alphys is debating about some type of anime. Frisk stops when she hears someone calling her. “Hey! You! Stop!” The voice of the monster is slightly deep and his walking is loud, sounds like he is wearing armor. Frisk hears another set of footsteps and realizes that they are probably royal guards. When she turns around, her theory is confirmed as she sees two strong, tall, armored monsters. “We’ve, like, received an anonymous tip about a human wearing a striped suit.” Chara: Are they serious? “They told us they were wondering around Hotland right now... I know, sounds scary, huh? Well, just stay chill. We’ll bring you someplace safe, OK?” The guards start walking the other way and expect Frisk to follow them. Chara: Lets just leave. One of them starts whispering something and they both stop. “... Huh?  What is it, bro? The suit they’re wearing? ... like, what about it? Bro... Are you thinkin... What i’m thinknin? Bummer. This is, like... Mega embarrassing. We, like, actually totally have to kill you and stuff. They equip their swords. Royal guard attacks! Frisk whispers to the first guard and tells him to be honest with his feelings. Chara: What are you doing? RG 01: Like... what? I don’t get it. The second royal guard suggests a team attack. They both swing their blades at Frisk. She blocks the first blade and quickly moves out of the way of the second. 01 us polishing his face. Frisk swipes away the cooling dirt on RG 02′s armor. His armor is starting to get warmer. RG 01 tries to hit Frisk, but she dodges the attack. RG 02: ... can’t... take it. ...armor... too... HOT!!!  RG 02 rips off his chest armor, revealing his muscles. RG 01 starts shivering. This time, both of them attack. Luckily, Frisk’s suit is good at isolating heat, so she isn’t having any problems with dodging their attacks. RG 01: D-dude... I can’t. I can’t take this anymore! Not like this!! Like, 02! I like... I like, LIKE you, bro! The way you fight... The way you talk... I love doing team attacks with you. I love standing here with you, bouncing and waving our weapons in sync... 02... I, like, want to stay like this forever...  RG 02 doesn’t respond. RG 01: Uhhh... I mean, uh... Psyche! Gotcha, bro!!! Haha!!! RG 02: ... 01. RG 01: Y-yeah, bro?? RG 02: ... do you want to... get some ice cream... after this? RG 01: Sure, dude! Haha! 01 And 02 look at each other happily and they walk away, completely forgetting about Frisk.  Chara: Did you really have to make him take off his armor? That was kinda rude. Frisk: Well, it solved the problem, didn’t it? Chara: I guess your right. Frisk keeps following the path, before she enters another dark room. Frisk: Another cooking show? Frisk hears Mettaton from above  MTT: This time, it will be something different. Same plan as last time! Alphys call Frisk again. Alphys: Okay, I’m back! A-another dark room, huh? Don’t worry! M-my hacking skills have got things covered! The lights turn on, revealing Mettaton in some type of set up room. Frisk can’t tell what the room is supposed to represent, since the walls aren’t colored from the other side and Mettaton isn’t visible from her position. Alphys: Are you serious?  MTT: OHHHHHH YESSS!!! GOOD EVENING, BEAUTIES AND GENTLEBEAUTIES! THIS IS METTATON, REPORTING LIVE FROM MTT NEWS! Chara: So that’s what this is. MTT: AN INTERESTING SITUATION HAS ARISEN IN EASTERN HOTLAND! FORTUNATELY, OUR CORRESPONDENT IS OUT THERE, REPORTING LIVE! BRAVE CORRESPONDENT! PLEASE FIND SOMETHING NEWSWORTHY TO REPORT! OUR TEN WONDERFUL VIEWERS ARE WAITING FOR YOU!! Frisk plays along and looks for something interesting. She quickly notices the annoying dog and squeals with excitement. Frisk: It’s the puppy! Frisk runs to the dog and pets it. MTT: WHAT A SENSATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR A STORY! I CAN SEE THE HEADLINE NOW: “A DOG EXISTS SOMEWHERE.” FRANKLY, I’M BLOWN AWAY. DO YOU WANT TO REPORT IT? (NO DOGS WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS NEWS REPORT.) BUT DON’T PANIC! YOU HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN THE REST OF THE ROOM YET!!! The walls of Mettaton’s room fall apart revealing other items on the ground and Mettaton, flying in a red suit. MTT: OH MY! IT SEEMS EVERYTHING IN THIS AREA IS ACTUALLY A BOMB! THAT PRESENT’S A BOMB!  The present opens up and Frisk sees a bomb inside of it. MTT: THAT BASKETBALL’S A BOMB! The tip of the bomb pierces the basketball. MTT: BRAVE CORRESPONDENT... IF YOU DON’T DEFUSE ALL OF THE BOMBS...  Mettaton flies over to a giant bomb with a timer on it. MTT: THIS BIG BOMB WILL BLOW YOU TO SMITHEREENS IN TWO MINUTES ! THEN YOU WON’T BE REPORTING “LIVE” ANY LONGER! Frisk: Pffft. MTT: HOW TERRIBLE! HOW DISTURBING! OUR NINE VIEWERS ARE GOING TO LOVE WATCHING THIS! Frisk: Weren’t there ten viewers before? As Frisk says that, she notices a small blue flash of energy behind the big bomb. MTT: GOOD LUCK, DARLING!! Just as Mettaton flies away, Alphys calls Frisk. Alphys: D-don’t worry! I installed a bomb-defusing program on your phone! Use the ‘defuse’ option when the bomb is in the defuse zone! N-now, go get ‘em!  Frisk: That is convenient. Chara: And suspicious. Frisk starts with the dog and defuses him. The dog barks happily and disappears. Alphys: Great job! Keep heading around the room! Try to go for the one in the bottom-left next! Frisk carefully goes through the lasers and defuses the game, before running the script. She grabs the script to defuse it easier. After that, she flies over the gap to the present and defuse it as well. Frisk  jumps over the next gap and defuses the basketball. Alphys: Great job! Head for the center! I’m using, uh, EM fields to trap the glass of water there! In the center, Frisk finds the glass of water on the ground. She easily defuses it. Mettaton flies back. WELL DONE, DARLING! YOU’VE DEACTIVATED ALL OF THE BOMBS! IF YOU DIDN’T DEACTIVATE THEM, THE BIG BOMB WOULD HAVE EXPLODED IN TWO MINUTES. Chara: Yeah, we already know that. MTT: NOW IT WON’T EXPLODE IN TWO MINUTES! INSTEAD IT’LL EXPLODE IN TWO SECONDS! GOODBYE, DARLING! Chara: Didn’t see that coming. Mettaton starts to laugh like a villain, but nothing happens. MTT: AH. IT SEEMS THE BOMB ISN’T GOING OFF.  Alphys: That’s b-because!!! While you were monologuing... I...!!! I f... fix... Um... I ch-change...  MTT: OH NO. YOU DEACTIVATED THE BOMB WITH YOUR HACKING SKILLS. Alphys: Yeah! That’s what I did! MTT: CURSES! IT SEEMS I’VE BEEN FOILED AGAIN! CURSE YOU, HUMAN! CURSE YOU, DR. ALPHYS, FOR HELPING SO MUCH! Why do you not trust Alphys? Isn’t she the one who made that body for you? MTT: WELL, I CAN TRUST HER, BUT I’M NOT SO SURE IF YOU SHOULD. AFTER ALL, ALPHYS IS THE ONE WHO GAVE ME YOUR COORDINATES AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW SHE IS CLAIMING THAT SHE “HACKED THE BOMB” WHEN ALL OF THE BOMBS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN HARMLESS CONFETTI WITHOUT ANY HACKABLE PARTS. EVEN IF THERE WERE ANY, IT STILL WOULDN’T CHANGE ANYTHING IMPORTANT. Chara: And what about that anonymous report those two guards heard? If Alphys is giving Mettaton our location, who says that she isn’t giving everyone else our location as well. Frisk: I guess you’re right. Chara: You should turn off that phone and take out the battery. MTT: THAT WON’T HELP. SHE HAS CAMERAS EVERYWHERE. Frisk: Well that’s just great. At least now we know that we need to keep moving. Thanks Mettaton. MTT: NO PROBLEM. STAY SAFE, DARLINGS! Mettaton flies away. Chara: Alphys will have some explaining to do once we’re done with this. Natalie just left Slasher’s house when he got a call from Kris. Slasher: What’s up. Kris: Ne asked me to send guards to the Computer room. I need you as escort. Slasher: I’ll be there in a minute Kris: Okay. Kris hangs up. Slasher quickly changes his clothes and takes his gear before exiting through the back way with his bike. After a short ride, he reaches Kris’ base and sees three armored vehicles ready to go and Kris. Slasher: Will you be joining us as well? Kris: I need to stay here to command from the communication room. Slasher: Ok, your loss. Slasher points at the drivers. Slasher: You three! You’re going with me. If you’re lucky, this will be a calm ride, and if not... Well, that will be a good target practice for me. Slasher drifts a 180° before accelerating so fast, that he did a wheelie. The other guards start following him. Kris contacts Slasher over their earpieces. Kris: Remember not to drive to fast so that they can keep up. Slasher: Yeah, yeah, I’ll go easy for them. Slasher slows down and the front wheel reaches the ground again. He drives just slow enough that the guards don’t have to be going full speed. While they’re driving towards the Computer room, Ramirez is watching them through some of their cameras. He already called some of his elite members. They’re all wearing armor that is similar to Cobra’s. Ramirez: All of you have been trained by Cobra, but you are under my orders. I need you to wait for Slasher and Kris’ guards to get settled in the area and than attack them from their blind spots. Since Kris is a tactician, you will only have one chance if you’re lucky enough, so you must take them all out with one attack. We have reasons to believe that there is someone trying to free the beasts captured in the Computerworld. Your mission is to check if that information is true. I do not care how you will find the evidence, but I advise that you take out all of the enemies first. If the first attack fails, you will have soldier back up right behind you. Am I clear? “Yes sir.” Ramirez: You are free to go. The elites walk out of Sentinels’ base and take their civilian vehicles for a disguise. They decide to wait on a nearby parking lot for Slasher and the guards to drive buy. When the elites see them, they start slowly following them. After a few minutes of driving, Slasher and the guards reach the Computer room. The elites parked a few blocks before, so they wouldn’t get noticed. While Slasher and the guards check the area, the elites sneak their way to the top of the hangar after Slasher checks it. Slasher: The area’s clear. Are we done now? Kris: Not yet. Set up defenses and stay for a minute or two just in case. Someone might be following you. Slasher: Alright. Slasher looks at the guards. Slasher: Listen up. I want you to cover up both entrances. That means that the three of you are going to cover west entrance while the other three cover the east entrance. Got it? “No problem” The guards split up and do as instructed while Slasher waits in the middle. The elites set up right above everyone. Their leader starts the countdown, opening a window above Slasher. When the countdown ends, they all jump with swords towards their targets. Slasher was the only one who noticed another shadow next to his one, giving him enough time to react, turn around and see the elite leaping towards him. He blocks the blade with his gauntlet and grabs the guard of the elite, pulling him on the ground. The other elites succeeded at killing their targets. Slasher quickly takes out his pistol and shoots the elite he downed and then takes his other pistol as well and shoots two more elites, while the other three block the bullets with their swords and continue dashing towards Slasher.  Slasher: All guards down, being ambushed with three elites, should be easy enough. Kris: Don’t count on it, my scouts noticed backup. Slasher pulls in one elite with his grapple and knocks him out with the clip of his pistol and disarms the other one before shooting him in the head. Slasher: Well then send those scouts in! The last elite tries to stab Slasher and slasher dodges the blade, kicks the elite on the ground and executes him with the tip of the grapple. Kris: They’re only for last resort situations. Slasher: I’ll call in some actual help then Slasher calls Ne. Slasher: Where are you? Ne: At Amy’s. Slasher: Too bad. Computer room being attacked. Need help. Ne: What? I was there a few minutes ago. Slasher: Well these idiots attacked right now, and I would apreciate some help before i get rifled here! Ne: Ok, ok, I’m coming. Slasher: Gotta go, reinforcements just arrived. Slasher hangs up. Amy: What was that all about? Ne: Computer room is being attacked, going to help Slash. Amy: I’m coming along as well. Ne takes off the stripes on his sleeves and activates his helmet. Ne: No. You just took your medicine. You need to stay out of action before your soul fully stabilizes. Amy: Fine. Be careful. Ne: I know. Ne goes to the roof of Amy’s house and jumps down on the other side, creates his bike and quickly drives to the Computer room. When he arrives, he sees a lot of soldiers firing randomly. The soldiers are too distracted with slasher to even notice Ne behind them. Ne equips his swords and runs past alll of the guards, cutting their lower legs so that they would be subdued, but still alive before running towards Slasher. Slasher: About time. Ne: You know I like to make dramatic entrances. Ne creates a vortex shield and absorbs all incoming bullets. He keeps the shield up until all the soldiers waste their ammo. When their guns get empty, Slasher gets up from his cover and shoots a few of them, while Ne creates a blue Neon blaster and knocks most of them out with one blast. More cars keep arriving, all of the passengers are elites with swords. Ne engages in sword battle while Slasher continues to dodge and block their attacks before using the blades and the tip of his grapple to beat them. While they are fighting, more snipers get on the rooftops and wait for a clear shot. After every takedown, Slasher quickly shoots one of the snipers before finding cover. After some while, only one hidden sniper remains and a few elites. Ne easily beats the remaining elites with his powers. Slasher: I’m gonna get the hiding sniper. Ne: Alright, I’m gonna find a place to dump these. Slasher grapples up to the top of the building where the last sniper is hiding. When he gets to the top, he notices the barrel of the sniper’s weapon behind a wall. He takes his pistol and shoots the gun out of sniper’s hands. The sniper panics and tries to grab his secondary weapon, but Slasher shoots his grapple at the leg of the soldier and pulls him down when the grapple stabs into his leg. Slasher yanks the grapple out of his leg and then swings it onto his head, killing him and destroying the small camera that was transmitting the video to the Sentinel’s base. Cobra and Ramirez were both watching the transmission. Cobra: Do you realize what you just did? Ramirez: I lost the fight, I am well aware of that. Cobra: This loss is much more than a fight. Too many members went there. If this happens again, we will be beaten and we will have to wait for a new army. I don’t think I need to mention that it is not simple to find a new army.   Ramirez: You already failed when you had your chance. Cobra: It’s not about chances anymore. We’re currently forced into a situation were we have only one attempt left. It is obvious that they have someone in the system, since it is so important for them to defend the location. Our last move is to shut down the teleporter while it’s active and we’ll need everyone for that. No more attacks. Ramirez: You’re right about that. Halloween Vampire Girls' Night Out

It was Sophie's idea to dress up as sexy vampires for Halloween. It was quite enjoyable selecting outfits and perfecting each other's makeup. Her long dark brown hair was OK as it was but I bought a dressing up wig with long straight black hair. I carefully applied the dark lipstick and the fake blood trickling from her mouth to Sophie, then she did the same for me. I enjoyed that bit, but felt slightly Ill at ease when we went into a busy town centre bar. Lots of people were in fancy dress. In fact nearly all the girls were, yet I couldn't help feeling self conscious., particularly as there we quite a few other students from school there. I did feel a little more confident after several drinks, but worried each time a guy started chatting up Sophie that I would be be left alone for the rest of the evening. I would certainly never have gone out on my own that evening. I think she sensed my discomfort, for after little more than an hour she whispered in my ear "Zoe, let's get out of here and disappear into the darkness where creatures of the night belong." Feeling a bit lightheaded after my third drink I felt an impulse to kiss her when she suggested that, but realised it might mess up my make-up. I noticed Sophie's lips were already a little smudged. We walked a little way back from the busy town centre, the chill Autumn air cleared my head a little. Sophie nudged my shoulder "That's Richard Beale's house" she said, pointing out a large detached house behind a high laurel hedge. "Is it?" I replied dismissively. Unsure why anyone really cared where that little nerd lived. "His parents were in the bar of the White Hart, all dressed up to the nines. I bet he's alone in there, let's give him a fright." "Okay" I said reluctantly. "Our outfits are good, but no way is he going to think we're real vampires." Sophie laughed. "I think that just a pair of girls calling on him when mummy and daddy are out will give the little wimp enough of a fright." "That's just cruel." I replied. I didn't like Richard but could sympathise with him, he did get picked on a lot. Far more than I did, and sometimes the other kids made my life a misery. But she gave me no choice and, grabbing my wrist, pulled me with her to the front door. She rang it twice before he came to the door and cautiously opened it. Seeing our fancy dress he immediately said "Can't you read?" and pointed to a notice in the window saying 'Sorry. No Trick or Treat Here.' Sophie put her foot in to stop him shutting the door on us. "Go away!" he shouted then pushed at the door trying to crush her foot. I didn't want to be there. I remember thinking that vampires aren't supposed to be able to enter a house unless invited in. Sometimes. Richard opened the door, to try slamming it harder onto her foot, but this allowed Sophie to get her body in the gap. He pushed it shut squashing her breasts and hitting her head back against the post. "Bastard!" she yelled and forced her way on in. I was shocked at her behaviour, yet curious, so I hesitated on the doorstep. Sophie's hand reached out and pulled me on in. Ignoring the boy's protests she pushed her way into the living room. "Very nice" she said looking round. She picked up a porcelain figure from a shelf on her left. "Will mummy be cross if she finds you've broken this?" she asked, dangling it above the hearth by just two fingers. "Stop it!" he said in a slightly panicky voice. "Give Zoe a kiss." "You've told him my name!" I hissed. "Of course I know who you both are." he said. "Kiss Zoe." Sophie repeated, swinging the delicate figurine precariously. Richard stepped over to me and gave me a dry peck on the cheek. I cringed. "Of for fuck's sake!" Sophie shouted at him. "Zoe, show him how to so it properly." "Sophie!" I protested. "Go on, stick your tongue down his throat or bite his neck." Sophie said, somewhat mockingly. She slammed the figurine down on the mantelpiece, luckily without breaking it. "For Christ's sake lighten up everyone. "Richard..." She paused "Can I call you Dick?" She laughed hysterically. "Little Dick, is it? Where do your parents keep their booze?" He looked at me, frightened, but didn't answer Sophie. She went through to the kitchen and after only a short while clattering around in there returned with a bottle of vodka and a half empty bottle of brandy. "Drink this" she said, handing Richard the vodka. She passed me the brandy. Richard shook his head but then Sophie picked the delicate ornornament up again and swung it about while gripping its head by just two fingers. "Drink or the little lady loses her head!" Richard drank. Until Sophie decided she wanted some too and, to his obvious relief, snatched the bottle from him and put it to her own lips. "There" she said. "You've just saved this little lady." Still gulping down vodka she unsteadily placed the ornament back on the mantelpiece. Too near the edge; it wobbled then fell to shatter on the marble hearth below. Richard cried out and sprang at Sophie. But the pathetic little worm got kneed in the groin then punched in the face by her. I did notice that she'd split her knuckles, perhaps on his teeth but she was obviously too drunk to notice. "Zoe, help me strip him." Sophie was already unfastening his trousers. She suddenly cried out "Look, here's his phone. Let's see what secrets he's got." "What d'you mean?" I asked as she turned away from him so he couldn't grab the phone back. "Well Zoe, when I borrowed your phone I saw your Tumblr blog re-posting all that thinspiration crap and the selfies you post of yourself from the neck down in just your underwear in the bathroom." I just wished the ground would open up and swallow me. "No! You nosy bitch... " Then I burst into tears. Sophie was muttering something about birdwatching sites on Richard's phone then exclaimed with glee "Well look at this!" I looked across at Richard and saw a look of terror on his face. "You fucking little pervert!" Sophie exclaimed. "An album full of photos of girls being stabbed in the guts." She paused for a moment. "Oh my God! I hope some of these aren't real. Zoe look! They're pulling the guts right out of this bitch's belly!" I didn't know where to look. At that moment I wanted to kill Sophie. "Hey, you'd like some of these Zoe. Look how hollow these sluts' bellies are and how their ribs stick out when they're hung up by the feet... " She laughed slightly manically "Shit! They hung them up to cut out their guts too." She paused for a moment, engrossed by Richard's phone. "They end up roasting and eating them." She handed the phone to me then turned her attention back to Richard. "Stay there you little bastard." He didn't really have anywhere to go anyway and seemed to be stunned into inaction until Sophie returned from the kitchen with a large knife. His expression of terror became more fearful and he backed away. "Would you like to stick this in Zoe's belly then?" she said. "Sophie! Stop it. This isn't funny any more." I pleaded. She spun round to face me. "Take off your cape and lift your shirt up so he can see that flat belly you seem to be so proud of." "That's it, I'm off." I said and made for the door. "OK." She said. "I'll just share all your skinny bathroom pics I've downloaded to everyone we lknow." I froze. I shouldn't have, but I just hoped that the next day, when she was sober, I could persuade her to delete whatever she'd downloaded. Sophie moved to stand in the doorway. With the fake, somewhat smudged, blood dribbling from her lips and brandishing the large kitchen knife she looked quite intimidating. Brandishing his phone she told Richard to take off the rest of his clothes himself. He did slowly start unbuttoning his shirt, but Sophie seemed to be losing patience with him. "Zoe, give him some help,. The little fart can't even undress himself." "I'll do it!" he called out. In half a minute he was wearing just his underpants, stood nervously looking towards the door to avoid eye contact. "Zoe, pull his underpants down." I shook my head. "OK, no problem." She pulled out her own phone. "Posts of Zoe in bathroom exposing her disgusting bony body going viral... " "Stop. Please Sophie." "Pull his pants off then." I knew she was looking straight at me even though I was watching Richard, feeling sorry for him. Then Sophie laughed loudly. "Of course. You're feeling left out. You strip to your underwear too, Zoe!" "No! Please let's just go home Sophie." "OK world, uploading pics of dirty Zoe... " She was clearly enjoying this. "Stop!" I almost screamed. That stupid little wimp of a boy was shaking and looked as if he was about to burst into tears. "I'll strip." As I dropped my black trousers on top of the rest of my clothes on the floor I realised that Sophie wasn't going to stop there. "Ha ha! Finally I used the knife to cut away her panties so she lay naked and weakly struggling on the ground. I hurriedly untied Richard then handed him the knife. "Go on then. Sink it into her belly." Richard got to his feet then held me tight against him. Why did you pick your muse? Well, I’ve been a big fan of OP for nearly a decade and have always related to Nami? That, and she’s cute and my gay ass draws her all the time anyway so might as well have a reason to lmfao.

Do you cosplay? Yes, who? No, do you want to? I do! I’ve been doing casual cosplays for a few years now. I have cosplayed Luffy (well, fem!Luffy), Nami (Enies Lobby arc outfit, featuring @ask-captain-usopp as Sogekingu), aaand Mirai from Kyokai no Kanata. I think I’m probably forgetting one or two cosplays but whatever lmfao... on a slightly more embarrassing note for a few years I used to co-run and work at an annual Maid Cafe event at my college, which is coincidentally how I met @ask-captain-usopp.

Do you like writing as well? Gimme the deets I love to write! I actually minored in writing for my Bachelors. I have plans for a novel buuuut so far all I’ve really done is write short stories and fanfiction lmfao (No One Piece fics yet though.)

Can you cook/bake? I love to cook and bake! I don’t bake as much as I used to, mostly cooking these past few years. My favorite thing to cook right now is this chicken bacon spinach alfredo recipe I found a few months back--hmu if you want the recipe it’s super easy.

When was the last time you gave yourself a compliment for all the great work you do? I’m the type to regularly give myself a pat on the back for getting stuff done, so yesterday after I did like 3 loads of laundry.  

Do you have any pets? Yes!!!! I have an old man cat named Maximus and a beta named Shouto. Maxy is a shorthair maine coon mix, and Shouto is a red and white fantail. If you ask me for pics I will send you 1 billion.

they met @ a clothing store !!! the stylists had finally caught on that yoongi had been taking home his ~work clothes because honestly he had been a lil too lazy to shop or dress himself lately and after he gave them back he was left w very little clean things and didn’t want to go through their communal laundry pile n figure out what was his so he decided to just shop instead. so he went out w the standard celebrity hat + mask disguise combo and tbh noticed y/n working in the shop right away bc she was in the darks section hidden between two racks of sweaters n secretly using her phone. and it was kinda cute n funny to him 1. bc she was slacking off during work and 2. bc she was dressed in white n pastel pink so she did more standing out than blending in. n so yoongi pretended to look thru a rack of black sweaters for a few mins before he cleared his throat n said “is playing hide and seek part of the job?” and y/n obvi jumped bc she didn’t even realize someone had been in that section and dropped her phone on the ground. so she was pouty and ready to kinda say something bratty back but as soon as she took one look @ yoongi n his hat + mask she bursted into laughter and said “you look like a walking police sketch” min yoongi pretty much lost to the demonic possession that is love @ that very moment

her parents run an art gallery in gangnam !!! they always gave her lots of freedom 2 pursue her own interests so when she was little she did everything from piano to taekwondo to dance to collecting dragon ball figurines but also rilakkumas. she never rly had 2 worry abt anything bc her parents are super supportive. and now……..because she’s always had so much freedom, she doesn’t exactly know what she wants to do w her life ??? because a lot of things interest her ?? and choosing one thing doesn’t seem like a decision she’s ready to make yet !?? so she got the job @ the clothing store bc she wanted some responsibility  (even tho she breaks company policy n is on her phone half of her shift) and routine. n it made her feel a little less guilty abt being ~taken care of i guess ???? but tbh she doesn’t give herself enough credit bc she does a lot for other ppl ??? esp for her parents like she’s always helping out @ the gallery and running errands hmm other things. she has an older brother who studies film (her fam is generally v artistic) n he’s quite serious n like the definition of perfect child and she likes to tease him a lot but she takes care of him a bit too she’ll call him like “ i dropped off some candles n boxes of tea @ ur apartment bc yesterday you looked so stressed u kinda resembled goku abt to go super saiyan. that can’t be good for ur health !!! take care of urself ”!!!! um tbh when yoongi n y/n were getting to know each other like ~deeply she was kinda worried that he’d be put off by her upbringing bc tho they are not completely polar opposite, his is still very very different from hers and she was afraid that maybe he’d judge her for it but it wasn’t like that @ all !!!! yoongi was v happy & relived (?!!!) to hear this bc he knew that she had 3 pillars of support if he couldn’t be there for some reason and also it was so……….. relieving………. for his heart to know that she hadn’t been hardened by the world ??? and like y/n had been studying his reaction super closely totally prepared for some judgment but the only thought in yoongi’s head was “thank god thank god thank god” because y/n is like his own little heaven & that’s hella cheesy for him to think so it’s probably why he calls her demon instead. he likes that she has many interests because she always has something new to tell him and she knows a little abt everything so when they go out n she explains something to him he feels proud ???? and impressed and smitten ?? and not the usual annoyed bc she talks abt things a lot cuter and with less pretense than namjoon does when he’s being a know it all. but he doesn’t feel like y/n is a know it all. she’s just a sharer !!!! she wants to share everything w yoongi from random facts abt soccer or art or the extensive n complicated backstory of the band gorillaz & she gets excited about it and yoongi LOVES it !!!! he loves that when she’s excited the first thing she thinks abt is telling him so he can be excited too and he loves that he doesn’t have to guess what she’s thinking or feeling bc she tells him everything. she doesn’t hide from him and so he feels like he can’t hide from her and pushes himself to be more honest and open and it’s so relieving to finally be able to fully share himself w someone !!! the only thing that takes years off his life is that yoongi is like 90% of y/n’s impulse control (i think u could tell that in a few texts) lmao

it was predating. yoongi was walking y/n to work one morning (which….. he’d rather be sleeping but he wouldn’t be able to see her for a week after that so he decided to milk all the time he had) n they decided to stop @ custard bread lady’s shop bc it was open and on the route 2 y/n’s job so it seemed pretty convenient (they had never been there before) n the plan was to get yoongi’s black coffee & y/n’s hot chocolate n get out of there within 5mins which seems like a reasonable plan but little did they know a middle aged man from h e l l would be the customer ahead of them. & every time yoongi tells this story he swears this man must’ve had zero concept of the coffee making process bc he was like ridiculously offended that he’d have to wait a few minutes for his coffee n completely yelling @ custard bread lady for no reason which was……….delaying the production of his coffee even further. n y/n wanted to step in so bad yoongi could see it all over her face she wanted 2 straight falcon punch this middle aged dude all the way to whatever sad desk job he has for disrespecting the god they would come 2 know as custard bread lady. but he knows her. she’s too high maintence for prison.  so yoongi rolls his eyes and very loudly says “just go buy a bottled coffee from f*cking starbucks if ur really in that much of a hurry” and the man turns around like what did u say u punk. who do u think you’re talking to. and yoongi has decided to just completely pretend like he didn’t say anything bc if u dont give demons like this attention they’ll eventually go away so he takes the opportunity 2 step up to the counter n is like “can we have a black coffee n hot chocolate pls we’re prepared 2 wait as long as u need” n custard bread lady is so confused bc the man is like still yelling @ yoongi (who is holding tightly onto y/n so she doesnt turn around like “HE SAIIIIIIIID JUST GO BUY A BOTTLED COFFEE FROM F*C—”) so custard bread lady prepares their order n the guy is yelling @ yoongi who is now scrolling through twitter on his phone & taking mental note of all the new curse words he’s learned from this man and eventually that dude leaves (not without threatening to find yoongi later) and custard bread lady is relieved that he’s gone & is thanking them like they’re some kind of heroes & they’re like we literally didnt do anything @ all. but she’s appreciative anyway n throws in free bread w/ their order and unknowingly changed their lives n taste buds 4ever 🍞

how they met: 

they met @ uni !!! seokjin is hardly ever on campus (he’s a v busy man) so he was super super lost n confused trying to find a restroom one day. and while he was wandering through the halls he saw y/n carrying a 50 ft stack (an exaggeration) of coloring books (there’s a reason ehehheh) and even tho his bladder was abt 2 explode he ran over to help her bc it really looked like she’d fall over if a spec of dust landed on top of them. but being suddenly approached by a tall n broad (n handsome) guy startled y/n so s he fell over anyway. and seokjin laughed his rly rly loud goofy laugh as he picked up the coloring books surrounding her and made a rly cheesy  "wow i didn’t think you’d fall for me this quickly"  joke & @ first y/n was completely appalled but then she realized he wasn’t laughing at her he was laughing at his own joke lmao !!!! not everyone is as confident n open as seokjin he has no problem talking 2 ppl but it was kind of not the case for y/n she didn’t rly know what to say or do so he did abt 90% of the talking as he carried the coloring books (he didn’t ask abt them) to wherever they needed to go n y/n did abt 100% of the laughing bc seokjin held back a little not wanting 2 overwhelm her and because he rly liked hearing her laugh for some reason. so they get 2 where y/n needs to go n seokjin puts everything down n jokingly asks if there’s a 50ft stack of colored pencils that he also needs to bring in n she laughs again so he’s satisfied n decides to quit while he’s ahead. before he leaves he asks 4 her number and also directions to the nearest restroom !!!!!!!

she wants to be a teacher. a kindergarten or elementary school teacher❗️👩🏻‍🏫 she’s like a teaching assistant rn n she’s almoooooooost finished w school !!!! i think what she wants 2 do says a lot abt her personality. very patient very kind & gentle !!!!!! and will indulge in ~childish things like games the way seokjin does !!! but i don’t think she’s as outgoing as him she’s more introverted n shy !!!! she’s the oldest in her family n has 2-3 younger siblings so i think that’s part of the reason why she wants to work w kids so much bc she’s good w them and she loves interacting w them and she has more patience than others do so she’s rly good @ taking the time to understand them…………and seokjin lmao. she listens to him like genuinely listens & appreciates what he has to say and it rly means a lot to him bc there’s certain times when he feels under appreciated or like his voice doesn’t matter but she takes him 100% seriously. she encourages all the silly behavior he’s usually told to suppress bc that’s his charm !! and she thinks he’s sincerely funny and cute and interesting and smart. and tbh most people don’t rly remember that seokjin is his family’s maknae and being the oldest of 7 dudes was probably hard to adjust to !!! they talk abt cooking & baking !! it’s usually seokjin leading and y/n assisting but she’s the one who finds the recipes and stuff n gets so excited bc “omg seokjin is gonna LOVE this !!!!!” and tbh she’s so soft for seokjin he still flusters her a lot even tho they’ve been together for a while so whenever she calls him handsome or cute it’s not bc she knows he wants to hear it but bc she’s still like so in awe of him n probably won’t ever stop. family is so important to her & hers really ADORES seokjin like she mentioned how much her mom loves and brags abt him & that makes her so happy ! n it makes him happy too bc he fits right in & he feels like he belongs ! @ the beginning seokjin was rly worried about scaring her off bc she seemed so shy and stuff and he didn’t wanna overwhelm her but they both got comfortable super quickly bc seokjin is such an easy person to be around and once she started opening up he brought out his full personality. and it’s feels so nice to be himself and have someone w/ common interests and someone he can talk to without feeling like he’s whining. he loves her a lot like rly rly rly loves her n is willing to put aside his pride & admit that she might be the most beautiful person on this planet. he loves to take photos of her when they’re out eating n stuff n it makes her shy but he just like loves looking at her and probably spends most of the day remembering her face. but he also loves like how good she is !! like just a genuinely good person w a pure heart and he thinks it’s so cute that all the games she plays are like super mellow nintendo games like animal crossing !!! he probably bought the game too just so he could give her the fruit from his town and bury bells outside of her house. omg he probably screams when he shakes a tree and bees start chasing him and y/n thinks it’s so cute & funny to watch him panic n then complain abt his character’s visual being compromised bc of the stings. tbh they’d be THAT family that has like a yt account where seokjin uploads vids of him & his son’s mario maker map or snack reviews and u can hear y/n laughing in the background as she’s filming. good & pure.

these 2 frogs met outside a convenience store lmao !!!! u know those claw game machines where u spend like a billion quarters just to fail @ winning a plushie 50 consecutive times ??? that’s what guk was doing. mingyu made the mistake of saying those things were impossible and of course guk had to prove him wrong. honestly @ the time he didn’t even know why he had so many quarters in his wallet but he’d later find out that it was one of taehyung’s weird pranks that he’ll forever be grateful for because y/n who was eating her convenience store ramen very very slowly had been watching him lose to the machine 7 times in a row and tbh it was so f*vkifng funny to her and watching the rly cute guy getting scammed by a machine had made her forget abt the mental breakdown she had bc of exams 1hr earlier. so she stuffed her snacks in her backpack n watched him fail just once more before sauntering over as he turned to complain to his friend. y/n smiled n said hey as she put 2 quarters into the machine & guk turned around v v v startled but his surprised rounded eyes soon filled w/ awe ? admiration ? worship ? as y/n managed to successfully capture a plushie within 4 seconds n then slid it into the large pocket of his hoodie after she pulled it out of the slot. but guk couldn’t do much 2 respond bc what tf a goddess was standing in front of him??! this divine and hot as hell supreme being who conquered the cursed claw machine in 1 shot. so y/n taught him the secret to beat the game and mingyu had excused himself after the pair had won two more plushies together and guk didn’t even feel bad that he had forgotten that his friend was there bc this really really interesting convenience store girl was leaning over his shoulder n coaching him as he went for the doramon plushie and her hair smelt like strawberries. when he walked her back to her dorm there were 3 plushies in the pocket of his hoodie, one in his actual hood, 3 in y/n’s backpack and one in her arms.

At the end, Sunny was able to fly in the sky, and Luffy drags Katakuri & Brulee into mirror world. Next week, the moment everyone has been waiting: Luffy vs Katakuri. It’s a showdown that Luffy must confront alone as he faces the billion bounty man that’s 10 times stronger than Lucci and Doflamingo combined. Will he be able to defeat him?! Cheer as loud as you can! GO LUFFY!!! Now on with the news! First off, look who came to see us at our humble home, Tongari-san! Take it away, my friend. Tell us what’s going on at the tower. Tongari-san says that a “new” mysterious event is going at the tower very very soon. This event is called, “Dazzle.” The whole park will be stage and audience will be part of the show. Story is that a mysterious treasure holds a power and legend says that this mysterious power would give you eternal love. The Straw Hats see the value in this treasure, but evil doers are out to get this treasure to use it for their evil deeds. It is a dance performance performed at night. To join this show, you need to purchase a ticket. The ticket include the dance show aside from the live show and park entry. I’ll leave a link if anyone is interested in going. It will start on Sept.22nd until the 30th. Time slots vary. Next, summer fun is coming to an end very soon, but fall season will be lighting up your spirits. The tower will be selling the September birthday buttons of all the characters. Next, figurines! figurines! First, this week, all arcades will stock this lovely Glitter & Glamour Venus figurine of Nami in her bikini outfit. The arcade also stocked this Wedding style figurine of Vivi in white and blue dress. They also stocked the second part of the Germa 66 figurines of Nami, Sanji, Ussop, Franky, and Brook. For anyone who wants to complete their Straw Hat Germa collection. Next, arcades or Straw Hat stores have stocked this gashapon figurines of Nami, Pudding, and Hancock in their bikinis. Just put them together and it’s complete. Easy and simple. Next, loads of new shopping goods have arrived at the stores. First, these mini swords! They have Zoro’s three swords, and Law’s sword. You can have it in display. It’s also good to open the mail as well. The tower also has it available. Next, these cool nail clippers if you’re into keeping your nails nice and well-cut. They’ll have Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Chopper. Moving on, next month, all stores will be celebrating the 6th anniversary of the Mugiwara stores. News of awesome merch and such will be announced later on, and possibly new Mugi Mugi products. YAY! It’s a little bit late, but might as well let you know if anyone plans to visit the water park, Spa Hawaiians Resort in Fukushima. The limited time Mugiwara store there are selling these limited ed. Hawaiians buttons of the Straw Hats including Sabo, Law, Pudding, and Koala. It was released on the first week, but due to some selfish shoppers who bought more than 60 buttons, it was out of stock w/in 3 days. It took almost a week for the store to get more in stock. The crew and I went there this past weekend, and they still have plenty of it left, but the store can only allow customers to purchase only 10 buttons. You can buy it again, but amt has been limited. They’re pretty and colorful. The event will go on until early Sept. You need to buy the ticket to enter the water park. You can buy it at the Seven Eleven stores or at the park itself. Moving on, stores are selling these cute adorable pocket shirts of Luffy and Chopper. Very adorable! Next, stores are also selling this cool tote purse of Bon-chan as also a birthday product. Has his real name printed on it in pink color. Very stylish! Next, stores are also these awesome pens of the Straw Hats and the marines in blue and white color. Handy writing tool! More stuff! Told ya that were making up the absence. Anyway, the stores are selling these new colorful, stationary goods such as folders, note pads, and pencil boards that has Luffy, Katakuri, Sanji, and Pudding. Next, this new folder of the Straw Hats are in stock. The store ran out of this button set of Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, but check your local store on their Twitter page to see if they restocked. They’re also selling these cute striped purses in blue and white color that has a mini straw hat at the bottom. Next, the stores are still continuing to sells these very very kawaii hamster plushies of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Sabo, and Law. Its like having a real hamster, but in plushie form. Stores are also selling these cool Whole Cake Island goods of the Straw Hats such as folders, towel, and pillow. It has Luffy, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, and Brook. The pillow has a double style in normal and rainbow colors. YOWZA! Next, they’re also selling these stationary package that has folder, a ticket mini folder, a notebook, postcard, and a pencil pouch in it. Jump Stores also have it available too. Next, you’re in the mood for sweets? Stores are selling these boxes of crunch decorated in summer style of the boys, and this yummy banana chocolate bars that comes with a free sticker of either Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, or Chopper. Store are also selling these cool hats in army print and white color that also has a mini straw hat on it. Next, jewelry store, Tendence, are selling this stylish and pricey log pose watches in blue and silver color. If you purchase it, you will be given a free stylish cloth and colorful box. Moving on, this week, Premico will released a new product. This new traditional Japanese hand-made green leather wallet of Zoro. It has a six pocket card holder and a money pocket holder. It will also include a very beautiful stone charm with Zoro’s jolly roger on it. Very pricey, but it’s stylish. You can order it online, or ask stores for arrival date of when they’ll have it in stock. Next, Singapore will be holding the Hello! One Piece exhibition. The event will start on Nov.27th until New Year’s day.  Moving on, September will have double birthdays. Whose you ask? I’ll give you two hints: one pirate is beautiful, and one is the sand master. You guessed right! It’s none other than Hancock and Crocodile. Their birthdays is on Sept. 2nd and 5th. Stores will be selling their birthday picture frames and buttons. If you purchase goods over 1000 yen, you’ll be given their birthday bromide cards of Hancock writing a love letter to Luffy, and Crocodile shielding a pug from the rain. Next, stores are still selling Bon-chan’s birthday goods such as this towel, folder, and a postcard set. Next, the OP Oto Utage is still on-going, and they have limited edition goods available. They’re selling pamphlet books, a button and folder set of Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Ussopn, & Sanji, a steel water can, a black tote bag with a free limited ed. button of Merry, an egg shaker, t-shirts in black and white colors, towels, a pen set, and colorful printed cookie boxes. All for a limited time until early September. Audience are allow to take pictures at the very end of the show, but not during. Please follow the rules. Next, here’s the new DVD cover of vol.13 of Whole Cake Island that has Sanji carrying the evil side Pudding. It will be released early Sept. Last, but not least, if everyone has seen it, the new cover of vol.90 has been released which is titled Holy Land Mariejois. It has Luffy’s bounty pic with Vivi, Carue, Garp, Rebecca w/ Mansherry, Sabo, Lucci, king Cobra, Shirahoshi, Wapol, Bonney, Kuma, and Leo. The novel wills commence with the gathering of Reviere up to the start of the Wano story. It will be released on Sept.4th. PHEW! Man oh man! I think we covered everything! When in Rome!

So Mia and I just got back from a whirlwind 10 days in Paris/Rome. When I tell you this trip was PHENOMENAL! With only 3 days in Rome, we really had to make good use of our time to see everything on our "must see" list but surprisingly we also discovered a couple neat little gems along the way (which of course, I'm going to share with you guys!). So here is my  list of the top five things to do/see in Rome.

1) The Colosseum. Dating back to 70AD, this ancient structure is the home of bloody battles and torturous executions. Go ahead and pay the extra 6 euros to get a guided audio tour which provides interesting information on the structures architecture, the gladiators themselves, the fights, and other interesting tidbits of information. We got there about 30 minutes before opening time, 9AM, which I strongly recommend so you don't have to wait in long security and ticket buying lines. I was blown away by the sheer magnitude of the structure and that fact that it was almost 2000 years old. To think of everything it has seen and withstood over time is really mind boggling. 

2) St. Peters Basilica- Built in the 1500's, this basilica was constructed in the rumored place where St. Peter was tortured and ultimately crucified by Roman Emperor Nero in 64AD. The sheer size and attention to detail is simply breathtaking, not hard to believe you take into consideration that it was largely designed by the esteemed artist, Michelangelo. St. Peters Basilica is also is also the burial place of the much adored Pope John Paul II (now officially a Saint). You definitely don't need to be Catholic, or even a religious person, to admire the beauty and intricacy of this structure. If you are able, I strongly recommend you pay the few euros is costs to walk to the top of of the top of the dome and take in the panoramic view of Rome. I'm not gonna lie, it was difficult, and for someone who is deathly afraid of heights and super close quarters, it was a nail biting climb. The staircase spirals very tightly in places and is super hot (we traveled in June) but once you climb those 551 steps, the view is simply breathtaking. Take your time and walk around (enjoy the breeze and fresh air!) and snap a few pics before making your way back down again. The halfway point back down has the Vatican gift shop where you can stop in to purchase any number of items blessed by the Pope himself, rosaries, figurines, post cards, metals, prayer cards, anything you can imagine really.

3) The Trevi Fountain. Rome is famous for their numerous piazzas (plazas) with amazing fountains and quaint streets but the Trevi Fountain is a must see when in Rome. Day or night, this fountain is awesome either way (trust me on this- we went one day and the next night to compare). Make sure and take a coin to throw over your left shoulder, backwards which according to legend, means you will come back to visit one day. Located in the Pizaaas di Trevi (imagine that), this place is always packed, and at night the lights illuminating the fountain are so romantic. Street vendors come out at night to sell all sorts of wears from jewelry to Italian souvenirs. (Keep your purse/wallet/phone close- the area is ripe with pickpoketers!).

4)Palatine Hill: Just a short walk from the Colosseum, Palatine Hill is one of the most ancient places in the city dating back to 10BC. Be ready for a long walk, we ambled around these ruins for several hours, taking in the breathtaking beauty. Palatine Hill was once the home of various Emperors and nobility and have remained surprisingly intact over the past couple of thousand years! It was like walking through a movie set for a post apocalyptic movie, the flowers and green grass provided such a contrast to the obviously old and crumbling city around. Please don't skip out on seeing Palatine Hill while in Rome!     

5) The Vatican/Vatican Museum: You can't go to Rome and not hop on over to the residence of the Pope! Home of the famous Sistine Chapel, The Vatican is the richest country in the world. Yes, I said country. I didn't know this either but the Vatican is actually it's own country, residents being those born in the Vatican or with proven family lineage of residence. Inside the Vatican you can walk St. Peters Square, visit the Sistine Chapel which houses the famous painting by Michelangelo, The Creation of Adam (sorry no photos of this masterpiece- camera are strictly forbidden inside the chapel), and priceless works of art held within the Vatican museum by world renowned artists including Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, and Bellini. We opted for the guided tour by City Lights Tours which was worth every penny. A knowledgeable and energetic tour guide, Enza, lead a small group (14 people) around the Vatican, Vatican museum, and St. Peters Basilica, sharing with us fascinating history and facts. (We were also able to skip the lines- score!)

 Now I know I said this was my top 5, but I'm sneaking in this last spot because after all this running around Rome you are going to want a good spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good drink. The area of Rome known was Trastevere is loaded with good food and plenty of places to grab a drink. We enjoyed wandering the little streets and alleyways taking in the scenery and liveliness of the area. Known as a vibrant collage hangout, Trastevere is located in the 13th rione (district) of Rome. We picked a spot at a local bar and sipped Nagronis after a long day sightseeing, it was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the local atmosphere!
