kind of a weird request but...gossip girl characters reacting to you telling them when drunk or whatever that you wish they were gay so you could make out/hook up? (the idea being here that you're the same gender as they are, so like fem r for the girls and male r for the boys)

Serena van der Woodsen

Serena is known as a lot of things, among them being the ultimate party girl, so it's no surprise that she's made out with several people before when drunk, both guys and other girls

As soon as she hears you slur out those words, she immediately perks up, no matter how much drugs or alcohol is in her system, and her lips meet yours quicker than you can even react to what's going on

You said you wished she was gay so you could makeout? Well, who said she wasn't? (And she's quite eager to prove to you that your gender doesn't matter to her as long as you're hot)

If you don't feel comfortable going further than making out, she'll reluctantly pull away, making you promise to finish what she started once you're both sober enough for it, and that's something she'll hold you to, whether you want to remember the kiss or not

She's known to have a lot of casual hook-ups, but with you it feels different, like she actually might want something more (even if she does still sleep with the occasional person on the side whoops)

She'll gladly kiss you or hold your hand in public after that, not caring what other people think even if you are both girls. Her mom will just have to deal with having two gay kids instead of one

Blair Waldorf

Unlike her on-again off-again bestie, Blair hasn't made out with girls casually the same way she has (though I wouldn't put it past her to try kissing Serena to experiment while they were both tipsy or something)

Her cheeks would probably heat up at your words, but she'd quickly try to hide how flustered she was by letting out a scoff followed by an eye roll, muttering something defensively under her breath over how she isn't gay

Even if she secretly wants to kiss you, she won't do it unless you're both a reasonable amount of drunk to where she can deny it ever happened if you try to bring it up again

When your lips finally touch, she wants so badly to forget about everything else and just focus on you, trying not to think about how nice it feels getting to touch you like that and how much she kind of wishes you were a guy so she wouldn't have to worry about the feeling of shame swirling deep within her

She'll probably avoid you afterwards, even if she claims to not remember what happened. She'll absolutely deny it if you or anyone else brings it up, and might even threaten them with sending in a tip to gossip girl

Alas, she can't hide the truth forever, and will eventually be forced to face the real feelings she has towards you, even if she'd rather they just go away. You'll have to be patient with her when it comes to bringing you as a plus one to events and such, but she'll gladly give you all of her affection when the two of you are alone

Nate Archibald

Bless his heart, Nate is such a himbo I don't think he'd get what you mean at first, especially if he was also drunk at the time you asked the question ("Makeout with me? But we're both guys?? What do you mean???")

That being said, I don't think he'd necessarily be against it, but he'd definitely be a bit hesitant since he's never kissed another guy before. I feel like he'd probably inwardly panic a little and worry about how to go about it exactly

Should he approach the situation the same way he would if you were a girl, or would that be weird and should he treat you a little different? Or would it be weirder for him to treat you differently just because you're a guy? etc.

Honestly, if you want him to kiss you the best way for it to happen is for you to take the initiative and make the first move because he's never going to do it if you don't lmao

Things would be passionate but sweet when you had sex, and he'd constantly check up on you to see if you were comfortable and okay with what was going on

It's possible he might try to ignore his feelings for you at first, but I couldn't see that lasting for very long before he decides to ask you out for real, knowing that he wants to be with you regardless of whether you're a guy or not

Chuck Bass

Chuck would find it so amusing that you said that, the smug bastard that he is. He'd probably chuckle and reply with "Sorry, but I'm not that kind of girl" all sarcastic like (if you understand which episode/scene I'm referencing you win a free cookie)

Truth is, he does like guys, he just doesn't flaunt his guy hook-ups the same way he does it with his girl ones. Whether that's because of deep-seated shame or just him being an asshole is up to you

Definitely skirts around the topic and teases you a bunch just to see you get all frustrated with him before finally kissing you, then going right back to the teasing once he's done

I don't think he'd mind a hook-up, but you'd have to really worm your way into his heart to expect something more than that from him, like how he slept with Blair and unexpectedly ended up catching feelings for her after that

If by some miracle he did start to actually like you, you're certainly in for it. He'd be jealous no matter who he saw you hanging out with, whether that be girls or other guys

He tries to act all nonchalant and like he doesn't even care but it's pretty obvious to everyone that he does, and when he finally asks you out on an actual date that seals the deal for him. You're no longer ever allowed to have anyone touch you the same way he has ever again

Dan Humphrey

Dan would be pretty surprised, but it'd probably be more of a mix between "wait you're gay??" and "you like me of all people??" rather than just the first one

I feel he actually has kissed a few guys before you. Rufus and Alison don't strike me as the type of people to be overly judgmental or care about whether one of their kids is gay (and knowing them they probably experimented some themselves when they were younger)

After getting over his initial shock, he'd definitely be up for it, but only if you were sober enough to consent properly. If not, then he'd table the conversation for another time when you weren't under the influence of something

He wouldn't treat you any different after finding out you liked guys, though again he would question what you saw in him of all people (especially if you were from the Upper East Side)

Unlike some other people here, he wouldn't try to hide his relationship with you when it began to develop into something real or make excuses about why you're constantly hanging out all the time. He'd simply be upfront about it and say, "this is my boyfriend, and I don't care if you have a problem with it or not because we're happy and that's all that matters"

going feral

i’ve mentioned feral alphas and omegas in a few posts before, but what does that mean? this post will discuss ferality,* its causes, common feral behaviors, and treatment.

*note: i will be using ‘ferality’ as opposed to the technically proper ‘ferity’ because the latter is based on the latin root and sounds pretentious, and the former is based on the english word and is more accessible

what is ferality?

ferality is a medical emergency caused most commonly by social isolation. it causes those afflicted to behave erratically, and is the most common cause of forced bites. it is one of the top ten causes of death for those over 80 years old. it is also called ‘loneliness disease’ or ‘bite fever,’ and is often euphemistically described as ‘losing oneself.’ in the past, more than a week of ferality was incurable. today, synthetic hormones and careful medically supervised management leads to over 90% of those afflicted to make a full recovery if treated before one week, and over 80% to regain most normal function if treated before two weeks. outcomes become less positive the longer someone experiences ferality, but there have only been 1,762 documented deaths directly from ferality in the US since 1980.

why does it happen?

humans in the omegaverse are pack animals not only because their ancestors saw practical advantages to living, hunting, and raising pups in groups, but because they were biologically dependent on one another. in simplest terms, interacting with pack aids the body in maintaining its optimal balance between the twelve dynamic (i.e., alpha, beta, and omega) hormones. prolonged lack of social support means that these hormones become unbalanced, leading the body to a state of multi-system disregulation.

ferality greatly reduces people’s access to the areas of the brain responsible for decision making, planning, empathy, and abstraction. it is the body’s desperate bid to regulate itself by any means necessary. those afflicted become impulsive, aggressive, and violent in some cases, so it is essential both for the afflicted person and those nearby that if you spot a feral person, you call emergency services immediately.

how do you spot it?

feral humans are fairly easy to spot based on their unusual, erratic, impulsive behavior. they may sniff the air (or other people) unsubtly, grab or touch things (or people) and fail to respond to spoken language. ferality is most commonly associated with inappropriate scent marking and biting for good reason: a feral person’s primary drive is to share scent with someone to help bring themselves back into balance. there are also some behaviors that can generally be attributed to the different dynamic sexes:

alphas

feral alphas tend to make aggressive eye contact as a posturing behavior

growling, snarling, and clicking at no one in particular

clenching and unclenching the fists and shifting from foot to foot

violence, especially toward other alphas

an acrid scent, like burning rubber or sulfur

betas

feral betas’ eyes tend to shift rapidly, settling on nothing for very long

humming, clicking, huffing at no one in particular

similar to alphas, they clench and unclench the fists and shift from foot to foot

general restlessness, moving quickly

climbing and perching inappropriately (e.g. on tables, vehicles, or buildings)

a rotting scent, like old meat or milk

omegas

feral omegas tend to make glancing eye contact—they meet someone’s eyes, hold, and look away several times

whining, purring, and clicking at no one in particular

baring the neck indiscriminately in a bid to entice a bite

hiding/burrowing (e.g. under tables or in closets. there have been several cases of feral omegas in clothing stores nesting in the clothing racks)

a chemical scent, like bleach or ammonia

how is it treated?

if you spot someone afflicted by ferality, it is essential to call for an ambulance immediately.

treatment begins in the ambulance. typically, EMS technicians anesthetize the individual for everyone’s safety. once it is safe to do so, the technicians draw blood and begin measuring vital signs and hormone levels to ensure that the individual truly is feral. in the past 30 years, rapid tests have made measuring hormone levels faster than ever. these levels are recorded and passed off to hospital triage, along with a record of any emergency hormones administered.

the hospital then brings the individual to the feral ward, where they have an individual room and nesting material marked with synthetic pheromones of all three dynamics. if the individual has been feral for less than ~three days, typically this is enough to trigger their body to begin regulating itself. in some cases, the individual may need direct scent marking in order to jumpstart regulation. if it’s necessary, a nurse or technician will swab the individual’s face and neck with a cotton swab soaked in a synthetic pheromone solution.

in more moderate to severe cases, the individual may need further assistance regulating themselves. in these cases, the individual will receive intravenous hormones and extremely frequent monitoring.

typically, after a few days of hormone therapy, the individual’s body will have reached a state of equilibrium and will be able to maintain the balance itself again. however, in some severe cases, the individual’s body may be unable to maintain the balance. these people will need hormone therapy every other week indefinitely. in some cases (especially those where there is also malnutrition or other severe condition), the issue will resolve itself with time. in others, the hormone treatment is for life.

how is it prevented?

the best prevention is maintaining healthy pack bonds. if, for some reason, this is inaccessible, clinics, health departments, and hospitals typically have nesting materials marked with synthetic pheromones. in the past five years, some nesting material companies have begun offering materials marked with synthetic pheromones. in addition, matching agencies sometimes offer scent-marked clothing or nesting materials for sale, though this practice is judged fairly harshly.

she gets pretty easily annoyed with you when she's not getting what she wants or when she's frustrated with her friends (yes, sometimes she lets it out on you)

she's always very quick to apologize, knowing that you're her sweetheart and that you only want the best for her 🩷

you are one of the only people that can help her get through her mood swings and calm her down when she feels like the whole world is crashing down on her again

Lily, age gap relationship (the reader is notably younger than Lily is but still older than her kids), the reader is kind of like a surrogate parent for Serena and Eric/they see the reader as a parental figure, nothing explicitly smutty but there are obviously some suggestive areas given the subject matter

The whole situation most likely only came about due to pure accident (maybe fate and a little bit of luck if you believed in those sort of things)

You were in a similar position to Dan in the sense that your family had some money, just not nearly enough for you to properly fit in with the Upper East Sider crowd

Lily met you when Serena befriended you at an event of some kind, excitedly dragging you over to meet her (something she probably only did due to the alcohol in her system)

She explained that you'd had a sibling that went to school with her, which led to you realizing you had more than just that in common, and that's how the two of you became friends

The moment she laid eyes on you, Lily was instantly hooked, unable to keep her mind from drifting to more scandalous and explicit thoughts

That night she couldn't sleep, thinking about what it would be like to have you in bed with her: kissing her skin, caressing her body, whispering sweet words... she was certain you'd be a gentle lover

Sure, you were her daughter's friend, which did make her feel a little bit guilty about being so obsessed with you, but that guilt was lessened by the fact that you were slightly older than Serena was

Besides, you were everything she looked for in a person: intelligent, charming, polite, and most importantly her kids liked you, something that never happened with the partners Lily chose

There was, however, the catch of you not technically being a part of the Upper East Side society, something that could easily be corrected with a simple proposition: you becoming her sugar baby

Was she nervous to ask you? Absolutely, but she did her best to remain calm and straight-faced, proposing it to you more as a business opportunity rather than a relationship

Of course you were a bit shocked when she came to you with the idea, but you'd be lying if you said you weren't intrigued by the offer

After all, Lily van der Woodsen was a very powerful and successful woman, not to mention incredibly attractive on top of it all

Despite that, you also got the sense that she was a bit lonely and needed some extra company, something you were more than happy to provide

The conditions of the arrangement were simple: she'd buy you whatever sort of things you wanted or needed in order to help you better fit in with the UES socialites, and in turn you'd escort her to events and give her companionship, among other things

Obviously you accepted her offer, which left her feeling a sense of triumphant satisfaction that she got you to agree so quickly and easily

Although she didn't want to, she very well could've resorted to blackmail in order to get you to do what she wanted, so the fact that she didn't have to made her feel relieved

It wasn't long after that she had you move in with her at the VDW mansion, needing to have you close to her at all times

You were given your own room to fill all of your stuff with, though it was made perfectly clear that she expected you to sleep in the bed with her, no exceptions

For the most part you're allowed to come and go from the house as you pleased, but Lily always likes to know where you're going and who you're hanging out with so she could keep tabs on you (sometimes you feel more like one of her kids than a partner because of this)

She always gets you dressed up in the nicest clothes available whenever you attend events together, making sure to keep her arm linked with yours or her hand on the small of your back or your waist the whole time so you won't feel the need to wander off

When it does happen that you get distracted at events and leave her side, she gets either Serena or Eric to keep track of you, which doesn't take a lot of convincing given that they both adore you

If anything, it almost seemed as though they preferred you more than they did their mother, constantly going to you instead of her whenever they're in trouble or if they need some advice

You're certainly able to understand their position a lot more easily than she could given how you're A) closer to them in age and B) not their actual parent

You're not above sticking your neck out for them if they happen to get into trouble, and often take their side in arguments they have with their mother

This understandably frustrates Lily whenever you do that, but you're always able to make it up to her in the end, which leads us to your end of the bargain when it comes to the whole sugar mommy/sugar baby situation

In all honesty, she wasn't entirely familiar with the concept of receiving pleasure from her partners as the ones in the past usually hadn't cared enough to put her needs above their own, Rufus being the only exception

But with you, it's so much different, because you actually care about her, and not just because she funds your lavish lifestyle

Almost every night you take the time to worship her, to tell her just how much you love her and appreciate her, and that just makes her fall more and more in love with you

chuck was enrolled in a bunch of activities bc bart didn't want him around so he can play piano, do fencing, play polo, row, play tennis, play lacrosse, speak multiple languages and play golf. as he got older he would just ditch but he does help teach henry to play piano. despite being in almost every rich kid extracurricular he can't really swim

blair learnt how to ride a horse along with serena, and actually enjoyed it but had to stop eventually bc she was too intense and made the horses nervous (and eleanor was concerned she'd get too horse girly) she named her horse audrey

serena really wanted to take art classes but lily thought she'd get too messy so she just snuck into them when she was meant to be at ballroom dancing lessons. blair had to help hide the paint in her hair and on her clothes

nate loved doing every sport he could except golf, and he drove a golf cart into a sand bunker bc he was bored and it was unattended (chuck took the blame and the captain kinda knew but never said anything)

blair and chuck were paired up in dance classes when they were like 8 and actually enjoyed it bc they were so in-sync but didn't tell each other

serena wanted to join in on the boys' hobbies but obviously couldn't so nate and chuck tried to show her how to fence. blair was very enthusiastic to hold a sword too

Blair Waldorf dating a chubby gn reader

Warnings: mentions of body image issues/insecurites, mentions of eating disorders, some suggestiveness/references to sex

A/N: requested by me because I'm chubby and wanted to write something like this <3 if you guys ever want me to do headcanons like this for other characters feel free to let me know!

First and foremost just know that you being chubby would not bother Blair at all, nor would she ever make fun of you or judge you for it despite her usual cruel demeanor toward others

She knows firsthand what it's like to have people commenting on her body so she'd never want to make you feel bad about the way you look

If she ever found out you struggled with body image issues or disordered eating then she'd try her best to help you through it (even though she might not always seem like the most sympathetic person around she's pretty good at comforting you because of her own struggles with that kind of stuff before in the past)

No one, and I mean absolutely no one would ever be allowed to make any kind of snide comment or mocking taunt about your body without Gossip Girl getting a sudden tip sent in about said person

Blair is absolutely not above destroying other people's reputations if they ever make you feel bad

That includes servers at restaurants and assistants at clothing boutiques who think it's funny to mutter something snarky under their breath about what you look like (they soon find themselves without jobs, courtesy of Queen B herself)

Speaking of which, you never have to worry about running out of clothing because she's totally got you covered

Fashion is incredibly important to her and she knows how important it is to only wear things that you feel absolutely amazing in so naturally you're given a closet full of brand new clothes the second you start dating her

Everything is tailored to fit you perfectly, and she only picks out clothing for you to wear that she knows you'll enjoy and feel comfortable in (sometimes she even gives you some stuff that goes with her own outfits so you guys can match)

Her hands always tend to linger on any area of you that's particularly chubbier than the rest whenever she's cuddling with you or adjusting your clothing out of instinct, such as your stomach and thighs (those are also places that get special attention whenever she's placing kisses on your body during certain activities)

Adding onto that she absolutely praises you during sex and worships your body the same way she wants to be praised and worshipped herself because she definitely thinks you deserve it

Often there's not really a power imbalance or struggle so much as it is the two of you just taking the time to appreciate the beauty of each other's naked bodies as you pleasure each other

All in all Blair values your love and devotion for her above what you look like, which is something she always takes the time to remind you
