Something really charming about quickman.exe. I think it's the plot twist of him *being* the bomb, since even knowing navis don't really 'die' (much like robots) it's still shocking to me.

But also his design is... Barely changed from the classic one

And he just looks so... Calm. Affable. He looks friendly. Just to be put to death right in front of me? Ok then I'll certainly be normal about that.

the radioactive city's aesthetic is SO good but i have a soft spot for mmbn3 because it's the only one i actually got to play so far. (everything else has been through seeing LPs lmao,, and a friend had mmbn5 i think but i don't remember which version) definitely gonna try and get my hands on the mmbn legacy collection when i can tho

AH MAN IT'S SO HARD TO NARROW DOWN WHAT MY FAV THING IS.. i think a Lot about megaman.exe's backstory and like, everything about hub.bat and full synchro and the whole concept of mega basically being a digitalized person and. YEAH. i've been sitting here trying to figure out how to word my feelings asides from "this concept is so fucking good"

How does Duo fit into the MerNavi AU? A godlike figure remembered only in legend? Some enormous sea-creature of a prior age? Would he even be aquatic?

given this is a silly happy slice-of-life AU where nothing major goes wrong and the world doesn’t nearly end, i didn’t give a great deal of thought to the final bosses from canon. Alpha doesn’t exist and neither does Nebula Grey, the Life Virus is merely a rare sea monster who makes spawns of itself, the Gospel Virus is just a cute escaped mechanical pet Forte owns, and the Cyberbeasts are... perhaps, prehistorical mechanical megafauna that’s been extinct for ages that is recorded mainly though myths.

Duo? i have no idea. he could be one of the massive and intelligent sea monsters from the deep. he could one of the longest-lived and most powerful MerNavis around. i never decided which.

i do admit i would think it’s funny if he’s the only Navi that’s completely unchanged from MMBN canon because he’s from space. he swings by Earth unnoticed, sees no Dark Power or Dark Chips, goes “okay swell” and moves on, w/ a note to himself to come back in 200 years and see if they’re still behaving themselves.
