I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who shared and donated and came out to the fundraiser stream! I am so so grateful for all of your guy's help and wanted to give you all an update!

The car is back on the road!! Unfortunately it has a lot more that needs to be fixed, and soon, but it's running again and that is a pretty big feat on it's own. And a huge weight off of my shoulders.

I wanted to let you all know what you've helped with so far (donations are still welcome! We're not in the clear yet but either way you helped us so unbelievably much) So you helped us get a new power steering pump for the car, replace the timing belt (and a few other parts that went with it), get an oil and transmission fluid chance (surprisingly more than you'd expect) and pay for some of Percy's special kidney disease food!!

The things that still need to be fixed on the car are... pretty extensive to say the least, the people who had this car before us clearly didn't do any maintenance on it. But we're going to get it done!.... It might just have to be in chunks without any more fundraiser money lol, but I'll take it XD

I'll also be opening my commissions up soon! I had hoped to already have them open, but I got pretty dang busy this past week) but when I say soon, I mean in the next few days soon. So keep your eyes peeled!

So originally I had just started doing adopts again because I was low on money these past few months and wanted some money to save for our FurEh trip with friends.

Well unfortunately life doesn't like to see us being proactive apparently because it decided to give us two great gut (and wallet) punches in the form of my car and our dog, Percy.

Percy was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease last month. I was able to cover his initial vet bills but the unfortunate part about kidney disease Is that there isn't a cure. We most likely have less than half a year left with him. And I want to be ready if things take a turn for the worse.

The money that is for him would be put aside for the inevitable and heart breaking future vet bills. For now he is still spry and doing okay so we are doing our best to spoil him and keep him happy with what time we have left.

My car also decided to go caput a little over a week ago, we had hoped we could repair it ourselves but we can't. For only Repairing the most important parts it will cost us around $1100 to get it drivable again. If we want to repair everything on the car it would be more like $3000.

So I am here unfortunately asking for help. If you can't donate money I completely understand. If you would still like to help, sharing this post would still help so much. Any money sent through this link, twitch streams, commissions, etc. will be going towards fixing our car, Percy’s vet bills and then, if somehow there is more left over (and if there is then holy cow, wow) It will go towards our trip to FurEh, I think we're really going to need it.

I am also working towards opening my commissions soon if you would like to help out that way, keep an eye out! And of course there are still the available adopts as well!

tl;dr Percy is in the late stages of an incurable disease and our car broke down, both of these are costly and any help is greatly appreciated! ❤️

Do you guys go on a call when you play coc? How good are you at the Sammy voice?

HAHA! We do go on call for sessions, though we don’t all do character voices. It’s hard enough to figure out what to do about The Horrors in real time, much less what this specific character would do about The Horrors, much LESS putting it into an in-character voice! As you can probably tell from some of the out-of-context quotes, we’re believers in not needing to “speak in character” unless you want to, since “[Sammy voice] You idiot! What were you thinking, Joey?” and “Sammy’s going to start berating Joey and calling him an idiot” are both roleplaying and both convey the same basic thing – and sometimes the second one is easier to do on the fly. There’s also a lot of half-in-character comments, since I tend to refer to my character as “I” and “me” while playing any tabletop game, so sometimes it’s flexible what’s in-character and what’s just us reacting to things – if I say “oh my gosh Jack what the heckie are you doin,” that’s probably not the words Sammy would use, but if Mochi responds as Jack, there’s a good chance we’ll assume the characters actually did have this conversation, just, maybe they worded some things differently.

THAT SAID, i do indeed have A Voice when I speak as Sammy; I don’t know that it’s super close to Sammy’s actual voice??? it’s just more Sammy-styled than my normal speaking voice, like, the way I think he'd say things rather than a perfect impression. I like doing some sort of speaking quirk for tabletop characters when I can! Even if it’s not a big change, it’s nice to have a tangible way to put myself in character.

Well gosh darn it to hecky, I honestly thought that, with machines, laundry would be less popular. Like cmon once the dishwasher has worked its magic you just shove in the cupboard, the plates are already in the room they need to be (usually). But washing machines could be anywhere, but al.ost certainly not in your bedroom so you have to cart that shit, then fold it all and then put it away. But I bow to public opinion, dishes are more loathed.

For the purposes of this poll Laundry encompasses washing, drying, putting away and Dishes encompasses cleaning, drying, and putting away.

In this case owning one of these machines means "have use of in your main dwelling"i.e. you do not need to leave your home to reach it. so you don't need to actually own it but it needs to be in your home and not a communal laundry room in a block of flats or some external store.

Because I see these polls and dishes always seems most hated so I wondered if that's because fewer people have dishwashers, because all being equal I find lugging the laundry around, folding and putting away more onerous than putting away dishes when I have machines that do the cleaning, but if I had to wash everything by hand I can see dishes by far the worse.

YKNOW I don’t technically have a SPORT AU for Izuku - but man if I did, this boy would love whatever sport it was to his core. Spend every moment he could spare watching games and taking notes of the best technique, imagining himself in the Olympics if at all possible.
