Look at this beauty 😍 🐈 ⠀ As a hairstylist, standing on my feet for hours at a time, my feet would take a beating. I would have a pedicure prebooked every 8 weeks and boy was it needed. ⠀ ⠀ After my ovarian cancer treatment began in January 2018, I’ve been too afraid of infection so I’ve avoided any services that put me at risk. ⠀ ⠀ Well there is one person I trust to no end in this department. Kim and I worked together back in the 1990’s and this girl knows her stuff. She owns a boutique spa @inspiritbeautyandwellness in the west end of Edmonton where she cares for her guests. ⠀ ⠀ Today I went to see her for some pampering and this beauty laid on my lap the whole time. I took this photo when we were in Namsan Tower (probably one of my favourite photos from our  10 day trip). The view up there is quite breathtaking. Autumn is really the best time to visit South Korea. You get that balance between the heat of the sun and chill of the breeze. As I captured this photo I was amazed at how the mountains seemed to be backdrop of the city jungle; and you see this almost everywhere in Korea probably because geographically speaking, 30% of the area of South Korea consists of lowlands, with the rest consisting of uplands and mountains (and yes, I googled that lol). It still seems surreal to me that I was able to visit this country when I was only dreaming of it ever since I could remember. I feel so blessed and grateful for this experience.
