Look at this beauty 😍 🐈 ⠀ As a hairstylist, standing on my feet for hours at a time, my feet would take a beating. I would have a pedicure prebooked every 8 weeks and boy was it needed. ⠀ ⠀ After my ovarian cancer treatment began in January 2018, I’ve been too afraid of infection so I’ve avoided any services that put me at risk. ⠀ ⠀ Well there is one person I trust to no end in this department. Kim and I worked together back in the 1990’s and this girl knows her stuff. She owns a boutique spa @inspiritbeautyandwellness in the west end of Edmonton where she cares for her guests. ⠀ ⠀ Today I went to see her for some pampering and this beauty laid on my lap the whole time. Hey there cuties😍😍 @jigsawforhair We’ve got some very exciting changes happening at our little salon. These stylists are taking things to the next level. Who wins??? Everybody. ⠀ ⠀ As a business owner if you’re not changing, you’re not growing. Just because I can’t be at our salon day in and day out, like the old days.. it doesn’t mean we aren’t growing and evolving. ⠀ ⠀ Business is not supposed to be a one person game.. a dictatorship. So .. this woman right here!! 😍 YOU need to go see her. I can’t get over how much she helped me today. Her name is Danielle and she is the owner of @theknotstop ⠀ ⠀ Since my stage 3 ovarian cancer has metastasized into my lymph nodes, I have been experiencing intense back and neck pains. You see we have lymph nodes throughout our entire body. My PET/CT scan results showed infected nodes up my aorta to my mid back and in my collar bone area. The swelling of these nodes are no joke as to the pain they cause. #fucancer🖕 ⠀ ⠀ I know the pain is going to get worse before it gets better but in life we get to make choices. I choose to do everything in my power to help with the pain. And let me tell you this was exactly what the doctor ordered (for real actually 🤗) ⠀ ⠀ Thank you Danielle for your care today.
