With the Xianzhou’s curse of the Abundance and the issues they faced with overpopulation and stagnation because of the undying before they began walking the path of the Hunt, there probably isn’t a ton of cultural pressure to get married and have kids which is absolutely wild considering how leaving behind descendants and the continuation of your bloodline is a whole big thing in Chinese culture

was in london on the weekend and my camera stopped working :(

#the flash but just stayed up (it usually slots in and only come up when i open the front to take a picture) and the lens wouldn't come out #just showed all the functions like flash etc #literally like two hours in n i tried taking the battery out and putting it back in then but it didn't work and so i replaced it when i got #home but it didn't do anything so i took the film out so i could have those pictures and now its making weird noises n rewinding even tho th #heres no film in there :(#going to have to get it checked but hoping it doesn't cost too much its an old-ish one i might just have to buy another one if its cheaper #so sad bc i did so mang lovely things that i couldn't take a picture of and the weather was so gorgeous so they would've turned out great #diary #tiyas thoughts

Am I the only one who doesn't understand what the stylist is thinking (and if someone does, please educate me), because the clothes and the looks in this drama are just not doing it for me.

It looks like something my mom wore during communism... the big buttons, oversized/shoulder-padded clothes, blazers and blouses, constantly hiding her neck with some scarf/turtle neck/whatever the purple thing is.

It feels like they are purposefully trying to make her look older, or hide her beauty, but why??? At times it feels like the make-up and hair are also created to make her look more haggard, I just don't know why they are trying to downplay her natural beauty, instead of accentuating it.

Not to mention how the dude looked better, when they tried to make him look worse. Now he looks like a basic undergraduate student...so young looking..

PLEASE.#I swear like every gifset I ever see that comes from tiktok is like the most gorgeous shit I’ve ever seen in my life #(specifically those videos of food that have really sunny lighting. OUGH that’s my SHIT)#but then EVERY TIME there’s like 5 cuts in every single individual gif. and it drives me crazy #don’t get me wrong they are good gifsets and it is not the gif makers fault. and obviously I know why the tiktok makers do that #bc there’s such a short time limit on the videos and they want to keep their attention and what not #but I swear to god they will make cuts that are SO FUCKING UNNECESSARY like just cutting literal milliseconds out of a satisfying shot.#which makes it no longer as satisfying. why. why do you do this to me.#listen I just have this secret rule that I never use gifs that have any cuts in them at all in my boards #unless they’re like really really nice. but even then like only two cuts max or I go crazy. Why can't the churches with choirs and pipe organs and stained glass windows have a bit more theological rigor??

#i am constantly forced to reject churches with beautiful music and sanctuaries I can see myself getting married in #in favor of rigorous theology #and like. i will every time #but how it that fair??#i maintain that truly beautiful churches and stained glass windows and pipe organs should belong by right #to Christians committed to taking the Bible seriously #it makes me so sad every time I live near a church with gorgeous carillon bells and know I'll never even consider membership there #bc i see the titles of their sermons on the signpost out front every week and *yikes dudes I'm praying for you*#or like that time i was invited to come sing in the choir at a church where both my voice teacher and my choir director were involved #like. a church regionally famous for having a truly fantastic choir #and obviously had to turn them down because I've read their what we believe page and they only mention 2/3 of the trinity #why can't a girl have it all?????#honestly this is the most compelling reason imo to move back to southern California #lots of beautiful Presbyterian churches with sound theology AND choirs and organs and beautiful sanctuaries #but alas #i am here #and so i suffer #(I'm being dramatic. Avatar2 made me actually insane. I could while watching it see the threads of like ten really good interesting character stories within it that all kept getting smothered under James taking three hours to wobble around so many points that I don't even know WHAT narrative he wanted me to take other than a rehash of "ENVIRONMENTAL EXPLOITATION AND COLONIALISM BAD"

I'm losing my fucking mind. It's like he used state of the art stunning visuals and tech to make a supremely shitty movie of a really interesting 20 book long scifi novel series that doesn't exist.

The entire movie was a repeated process of me going "oh hey there is a lot really cool set up you have here for- ok yeah. Yes James I got it. Yeah James...James I got the devastation and cruelty of exploitation and consumption. Yeah I got it when you spent ten minutes showing animals set on fire by landing ships it wasn't subtle James. I got it the first ten times so if we redirect over - wait why are we doing this plot point again?? James you did that already what about- wait how long were they with this island culture anyway???"

im going through all the modules of the project diva games to look at pretty outfits and I gotta say, it's definitely somewhat of a bad move to not have made new models for the characters in the 15 years that the franchise has existed

#m #vocaloid #the more i look at them the less i like them. especially the faces #also the new textures? lighting? rarely looks good on the models #which is a shame because the animations are gorgeous but the models esp the recent ones need an update imo #and there are tons of examples of good 3d vocaloid models that look great so I dont get why they dont change them #i mean sure it's going to take a lot of effort and money given all the modules there are but the graphics are getting old

#found such a gorgeous custom natural slingshot for sale. rah #I’m back to thinking I may just get a slingshot to start off with #because it focuses more on prioritizing the fundamentals of hunting and theyre ofc-#-compact and relatively less money #also because of that they are great if you want to be able to hunt without needing to bring heavy equipment that you need to heavily-#conceal and prioritize the upmost care of and know specific laws for and all that #so I’m definitely looking into just getting one for now #they’d also be great because I’m prioritizing the need to get food in a quick manner #as in a ‘I can just grab this item and get food with it’ so it’s relilable yk #and. bows definitely are a format of that but slingshots are more relilable in that factor #also slingshots can be relatively easy to make whilst making a bow takes more typical effort and you have to waitttttt agh #dog talk
