There's the good cop, bad cop routine but this one's the deadly cop routine. Maniac cop came out in 1988. Produced by Larry Cohen and starring horror heavyweights Tom Atkins and Bruce Campbell. When a string of brutal murders happen each one reportedly done by an evil cop. All signs point to an impossible suspect but who is the maniac cop? I enjoyed this movie. Its pure 80s slasher cheese with awesome gory kills and many 1 liners that will keep you interested. The premise is good and I like how it keeps the mystery as long as possible. They nailed the menace, by making the character more of a force to be reckoned with rather than just a bad guy. Is it that time already? Time to tell the tale. The tale I want to tell is ghost story. The chowder society love to tell ghost stories to scare the wits out of one and another. They soon find themselves in their own ghost story. The sins of the past and old phantoms emerge....... What I loved about this movie was the gothic horror aspect. It feels like it should a great ghost story. The practical effects are brilliant. I love how they look, they look gruesome, slimy and horrifying. Thats why they are great. The actors are brilliant. Each have their own twist and turns. With stand out performances expecially John Houseman and Alice Kridge. Alice in particular as she is both seductive and sinister. Not all of the plot points hit fully and it was a slower start but regardless this is a great ghost story to watch I am giving this a 7.5/10 Viewer beware ........ Hello everybody Mr Burke here again wanting talk about another horror film and today I want talk about a film called Pieces. To me this is what I call a normal slasher the gory all there but unfortunately the story is not that strong. its interesting to find whats going on but when do find out whats happened and true story its better really if we never know. The soundtrack is great both of them American and Spanish soundtracks the acting wooden at times dubbing is definitely noticeable. Do I recommend Pieces if looking for a cool slasher with cool effects yeah if looking for a great story with well written characters might want skip this one. And remember people next time you see guy with chainsaw just run cause might be last buzz might here Hahahaha. Dont torture a duckling or Non Si Sevizia Un Paperino is an Italian horror murder mystery. Directed by the master of gore Lucio Fulci. In a peaceful village in italy, the peace is soon horribly disturbed by a spate of horrific child murders. All young boys, murdered horribly with no clear suspect other than a local looney, a beautiful and mysterious woman and a witch. Released in 1972, this movie to me is one of Fulcis best. The premise is interesting and it plays on the mystery nicely. It throws in loose ends and deliberate cut offs to give the impression that the mystery is simple but more complex then you realise. Even I didnt expect the who the killer was. The gore is toned down a bit but there is a few excellent gory sequences to keep the gore fans happy. Tonight I'm giving a shout out to the Reanimator. One if the craziest, pulpiest horror comedies around. It's much loved cult classic with Jeffery combes as the crazed but brilliant Herbert West. Its gory, its gruesome, its fucking amazing. As the characters stumble from one disaster to another there is never a dull moment in this movie. What's your thoughts and opinions on this epic movie? Who said cinemas wasn't murder. Demons is an Italian horror movie which came out in 1985. When a mysterious stranger hands Cheryl a free cinema ticket for an unknown movie. As she watches the movie, things go wrong and soon the demons will be unleashed....... I liked this movie it was fun, the story is interesting, the gore is great and plentiful and in true demonic fashion brutally bloody. What really hypes this slaughter filled demon romp is the electrical soundtrack. Featuring many classic rock songs. The movie spirals quickly and goes to crazy lengths. Not all the ideas and themes hit the mark but this is still a great film to watch. Produced by Dario Argento and Directed by Lamberto Bava.
