There was a bit of a ceremony at my school where they invited their notable alumni and boy, did I make them regret handing an unprepared me the mic expecting words of encouragement!

I tried to remember all that I said.

"Goooooood Morning, everyone. I thank everyone who deemed my words worthy of being said to impressionable folks. Was it the brightest Idea they've ever had? Certainly not. Was it the worst? Well, we'll find out. So, it's *checks watch* 8:47 on a chilly winter's morning and you all are sitting on the ground expecting words of encouragement for me. Words which I clearly did not have the good sense to prepare. *chuckles* I know none of you want to hear some random guy say thanks to everyone he knows because he did something somewhat notable. You'd rather be in your classrooms stealing moments of fun before the teacher walks in or in your warm beds at home; at least that is what I would have wanted if put in your shoes. As for me, I'd rather be off-stage, away from your peering eyes. But here we are. Let's deal with it."

"So, why am I here? Because of my 12th results? Nope... I had an average performance in it. I guess it's because I secured myself a seat in a respected college. I am from IIT (BHU), Varanasi which, for those who don't know, is a college for students pursuing engineering. And engineering, as I expect everyone knows, is one of the 2 fields all of us are asked to run after. The other obviously being medical. It's not that difficult to become an engineer or a doctor in India. I mean it is and you do have to put in considerable efforts on your own but if you close your eyes and simply follow the flow of the disaster that is Indian Education System, you'll eventually earn yourself the title of an engineer or a doctor. The education system has it's perks but it's a disaster all the same."

"We're taught from a rather young age to look down upon any field that's not related to STEM. Most parents say that their child will become an MBBS or an engineer. After that? They'll get some postgraduate degree and search for a livelihood. They are, from their perspective, very right. That's the safest possible path to begin one's career and that's all parents want because they're that protective of you. And thus, India outputs million of professionals in the STEM field every year."

"I am not here to deliver some preachy message asking you all to follow your dreams because it's not that simple. But I do want to ask you not to look down upon non STEM fields and not everyone should blindly invest years of their lives in STEM fields because their friends are doing so. You always have a choice. But with choices, there come consequences. If you have the heart to face the consequences, you can run after that dream of yours."

"As an aspiring engineer, I am obligated to say that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are noble studies, and they truly are, but so are Arts, Humanities and all the other fields so easily looked down upon."

"This isn't the cheery note everyone was expecting but that's what I had in me off the cuff. I wish you all a good life. Thank you."

Hello, and goooooood morning Windknight’s Lot.

A rough first night of the full moon, I presume. Be sure to remind any remaining neighbours to replace their radios. Much like diseases, if enough radios are playing there’s herd immunity for the entire town. Also, reminder for all troublemakers that the cursed ones are watching. Waiting. So, listeners, this is a reminder to be on your best behavior, lest they come for you.

Now, for the weather.. Seems we’re in for clear skies today folks, and a chill breeze; it’s suggested you should wear a jacket, as the weather is barely over 10 degrees.

As for the news... a strange hermit boy has been spotted around. If you can bear the stench, as far as I’m aware he’s friendly, have a chat with him, he’s sure to like it. Ah. Some siblings have wandered into the woods, I hear. How I can’t help but think of Hansel and Gretel. Hopefully their travels are safe. Speaking of the woods, there’s a child living within the forests, and at least one poor soul lost in perhaps the same woods. Though there’s bound to be many scattered patches of woodlands. I myself cannot possibly shirk my duties to visit these curious fellows, so please listeners, take the time to talk with these folks if you can.

And please, listeners, never forget, you can always call in and tell me about yourself and your travels. I love to listen and speak with fans.

WEEK 3

GOOOOOOOD MORNING FOOTBALL FANS. Week three is done and we have some new ballers 🏀🏀🏀 at the top. But don't get comfortable 😨 it's a long season and it ain't over until you've got the money in your hands 💸💸💸 so let's jump right into it

🚨🚨🚨 we have a shakeup in first place everyone 🚨🚨🚨 It's now a three-way tie between Logan, Gabby, and Abby. Our fearless commissioner picks his teams like like he picks his wife: based on their wonderful personality. JUST KIDDING. Hotties only 🔥🔥🔥 Gabby was one of the only players to call the Cincinnati upset over Pittsburgh (more like SH*TTSBURGH am I right? guys?) and Abby flirted with a guy at the bar long enough to get him to pick her teams for her before she dropped him like yesterdays oatmeal ❄❄❄ Ice cold.

Lisa drops ever so slightly to 2nd place with nice upsets picks on Atlanta and New Orleans to keep her in the game 😎😎😎 Last year she she was holding down the fort in last as the big caboose 🚂 but now she's back this year with a vengeance

JJ and Zach continue to move up in the world, sliding into 3rd place. Zach's been keeping a low profile, slow and steady out there, while Rocky's twin brother JJ has been moving up each week 🤯 look out everyone!

Janie is still stuck in 4th 😩 and the defending champs may need to take a few more risks to get back to the top 🏆🏆🏆 can she do it!?!?

Juliette & Sing drop back to 5th place 😬😬😬 On one hand you have an avid football watcher who knows more about sports than some of the coaches, and on the other hand you have a high schooler who makes TikToks. Yet somehow they're tied?! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ - IT'S ANYONE'S GAME PEOPLE

World's biggest Jets fan Val spent one week out of last place but she's back there again now, as rusty tries to claw his way out of historically bad performance last week. 😤 It's only week three people, even these guys aren't out of it yet!!!

nobody’s heard from Bunny, which is weird because he’s a workaholic and has no social life

naturally they blame Kotetsu, which is fair, since Kotetsu blames himself too...

he gets out of this conversation when Maverick calls him to his office to talk about Bunny

got that drug pen ready to go

luckily Kotetsu has a short attention span and never drinks his coffee

he does, however, find one of those Christmas pins he bought under the table

Samantha the old nanny calls Kotetsu wanting to talk to him about Bunny, so he rushes off

of course, Maverick can’t be having that, so he arranges for a mall to get bombed, and Kotetsu has to go be a hero

while Kotetsu is busy, a goon comes and takes Samantha away...

and hey, where has Bunny been this whole time?

I sleep like that too

Maverick's house!

let’s not... let’s not think too hard about the implications of Maverick drugging Barnaby, erasing his memories, taking him home and putting him in his bed

let’s just pretend there are no implications there at all

for my peace of mind

Kotetsu is heading home after work (and wondering where Samantha disappeared to) when he finds another Christmas pin!

but if his was in his car, then why was Bunny’s in Maverick’s office?

helpfully filling in the gaps in Bunny’s memories

so there’s no more need to investigate them or their ties to powerful CEOs.

and then Kotetsu calls Maverick!

oh honey, you were so close

Maverick calls up his goons and says plans have changed

when he gets back, Bunny asks about Kotetsu

can’t be having that!

Kotetsu goes to see Samantha at her house, and discovers the door is open

he heads on inside and sees the fire burning really high

meanwhile, Maverick called the heroes together

as well as some of the behind-the-scenes folks that know who Kotetsu is

aaaaaand everybody gets drugged.

Maverick goes to see the kidnapped Samantha, and burns the photo in front of her

the only physical evidence left that Maverick didn’t have an alibi for that day

and then he leaves, and his goons close in.

about the only good thing you can say about Maverick is that at least he delegates his dirty work.

Kotetsu, oblivious, fell asleep at Samantha’s house looking at her scrapbooks of Bunny

when he gets to work the next morning, things are weird. Lloyds doesn’t seem to recognize him

don’t be silly, Lloyds, Bunny doesn’t have any friends.

and Kotetsu’s security pass isn’t working

the facial hair is distinctive

WELL THAT’S NOT GOOD

how did they find a picture of Kotetsu where he actually looks sinister? the man is a human pratfall.

yeah shouldn’t have gone in the house

not that it would have made a difference, in the long run, since this is all a frame-up anyway

and that’s the end of the episode! Bunny doesn’t suspect him, one obstacle is dead, and the other obstacle is gonna get arrested and no one will ever believe his story without proof. everything is going exactly how Maverick wants.

your dad is a flake baby but he’s not a murderer, don’t worry.

Lunatic does not appear to be buying it.

he wasn’t at the mass drugging, remember, but Maverick has no reason to think he would have done personal research into the heroes.
