anyway his name is dennis and hes also a mechanic. was on a different ship going the same place as the tulpar on a return trip when he realized too late they had a fuel leak and ran out of gas. he got left alone because one of his crew had a medical emergency they couldnt treat but their escape pod didnt have space for all their belongings so he stayed behind to wait for another ship to intercept them. gets picked up maybe a week or two before the tulpar crash and stuck in swanseas room because. well. theyre both mechanics? and jimmy knows itll piss swansea off the most to have someone else invading his space. canon compliant shenanigans ensue, maybe they end up killing jimmy and making it out alive, maybe they still die, idk.

as far as looks go, im imagining a mix between sam elliott in like 2013 and harvey from stardew valley, looks about in his late fifties/early sixties. HAS to have the mustache and glasses, pretty lanky and always stands like he doesnt really know what to do with his arms but hes charming enough that you dont notice. hes got those english/history teacher vibes that make you wanna open up to him and hes a very good listener, but hes a tiny bit nosey too so it kinda cancels out sometimes. hehehe enjoy :P
