Devlog 2024-07-29
It's not a Friday, but it's still July, so I thought it's best to update you all on the monthly progress. (I'll probably return to weekly updates once things settle a bit more in the future.)
I don't want to go into the personal stuff this month, so we'll skip right over that. I will, however, mention that we're launching a new service through my day job thanks to some very talented people I've partnered with. (If you or the company you're working for needs a proven team of SEO/SEM/Google Ad/Digital Marketing specialists, and you want an excuse to actually meet me face to face over a camera, hit me up!)
On the Infinite Stars / IF THEN ELSE side, we've been busy with interviews to hire a new social media person who can help with more visibility. We've narrowed it down to three amazing, super-talented people, and it's probably one of the hardest decisions I've had to make in a while. That said, we should be making an announcement in the next few days.
The writing has been going, albeit slower than usual, thanks to all the other distractions and our "secret" new Infinite Stars "feature" is still in the oven.

Yes not every professional is good at their job but there is still a reason there are professionals: there’s some things about psychology you cannot understand from some google searches, a lot of specialists in different disorders are specialists because of field experience, a lot is learned from actual experiences and practice, not just reading essays.) because every single one I have seen people try to “coin” so far has just been a lesser known or less common presentation of an already recognized disorder. Something having uncommon or hyperspecific symptoms does not mean it is an entirely new disorder. There is a reason there is an entire (fairly lengthy) process to changing or adding new diagnosises to medical handbooks/sites/etc.Â
