Rith also moved curiously closer. Though he kept his parents between him and Usagi. "No harm done. But, how did all this come about anyway?"

"Long story, turtle dude!" This Mikey chirped happily. Not even his Mikey had this much energy or cheerfulness.

"But I'll make it short for you." The purple masked genius cut in. "We were helping Usagi here after he sent us a distress signal. We were able to foil the plot, but the escape was a bit risky. I noticed this signal and took a chance on it."

"Bro, you never take a chance on anything." Mikey chortle.

Donnie just shrugged. "Poor phrasing. I was 99.89734521786% sure this would lead to a friendly dimension. After combining all factors, the content of the message and the likelihood of evilverses being outnumbered by goodverses."

Leo blinked. "You, know the statistics?"

"Of course. It seems dimensional interchange happens quite frequently. We've done it a few times. You haven't?"

Leo shook his head no.

"That explains the odd phrasing of the message." Donnie thought a minute as he looked the group over. "I can say, you are on the right track. But the message is too broadly inclusive. I know I, for one, can't help you. I can tell you are looking for a specific realm. Perhaps send out a secret code that only the intended recipient can understand. The level of help you need is more than likely achievable in only very few dimensions. Perhaps even only one meets all the requirements."

You could be a creator and an artist without ever signing a contract – everyone is in their day to day life. It just depends on whether or not you want to tell that story and to how many people. We are constantly making stories, we are constantly making art. And it's very courageous and very beautiful and wonderful if you do it as a career, if you're lucky enough to do this career. But even if you're attempting to do it as a career, that is one of the bravest things in the world: to have a story and be brave enough to tell it, and know that it will be judged, know that it will be scrutinized by no matter how many eyes or ears, and just still tell it. That is a wonderful thing about what we do.

As artists in whatever capacity, we're being so vulnerable to go into such a subjective thing where it can constantly feel personal if someone rejects you, [...] that we have to be responsible for giving each other support. 'Cause most of the time it isn't personal, most of the time it's something that's out of your control. But hanging onto support and onto love is vital and great.
