Pt 0 good omens i make predictions for season 3 after watching three episodes of S1
[WARNING THESE PROPHECIES ARE BY THE GOOD OMENS MASCOT AND KNOWN MESSENGER OF APOLLO AND SO CLEARLY 100% LEGIT STAY IF YOU DARE *OMINOUS TREMBLING*]
First, because I am a messenger of Apollo, I am compelled to write cryptic verse before I explain it to you, so take what the Voice of Delphi speaks to me:
When the anticipated arrives
An embrace is born, the love shall thrive
The angel will repay his demon's kiss
A bird will sing, a child will be missed
Heaven recedes like an evening tide
Led with pen by a wordsmith-guide
The home on earth more holy than above
Pain will strike, the panacea is love.
Now, because we are not in ancient Greece and I am not as cruel as you, I will explain as best as I can. You wanted to know if we will find salvation in season 3. Like Edgar Allan Poe, you asked me, is there, is there balm in Gilead (season 3)? Unlike the raven I will not say nevermore, but here:
We all know Crowley and Aziraphale will get together, but I'd advise you that the smell of angst is in the air. I say this as both prophet and writer, but for the story to end happily and still keep us suckers glued, it will drag Aziraphale and Crowley through the dirt to get there. You will get the happy ending, but at an emotional price that even season 2 did not prepare you for.
The fucking apocalypse plotline is going sneak in again, I smell it like ice on mountain air and fungus in a moist cave. Mostly the fungus metaphor.
Aziraphale will kiss Crowley first in this season. It is only fair.
There will be a hug. An Aziraphale-Crowley hug. Who hugs whom? Delphi has not spoken to me of that in detail, but a wee little nightingale told me it is a possibility they will both fall into the hug and we will know they needed it like they needed breathing and it wasn't planned but it was inevitable. The whole fandom can then sleep again.
I expect at least two more ineffable husbands breakups. But you guys survived season 2 (I haven't yet. If I die, can someone reblog this with 'he told us so!' when season 3 finally comes out?) so I have faith in you, war veterans.
Crowley will know, finally, that he is more than forgiven. He is loved. Aziraphale will know, finally, that the real heaven was the home he found with Crowley. Heaven and god will retreat. It's okay, guys, it'll take time but it will happen.

mildly obsessed with good omens now, now I have to make crossovers with my other favorite fandoms.
BNHA/Good Omens crossover anyone? Nah just messin with y’all. I’m already doing a BNHA/HP fic that I’m 4 chapters in and we still haven’t arrived at Hogwarts.
Good luck. Idk anymore I’m tired.
like the doggo Adam has is cute.
plus Nanny Crowley was fun for the five seconds of screen time they had
Aziraphale is probably autism
Crowziraphael has to be canon or I’m gonna throw my off brand Stanley cup out a window

🫵🏾How Are You Repressed?🙈
Gif Credit: @paracausal and @quintessence-dust
More from me: Masterlist
Drop a donation or visit me across the web.
Choose a gif or number that calls out to you. If it doesn't resonate, leave it for someone else.
Pile 1: Perfectionism! The thief of progress and enjoying your work. You believe you shouldn't rest. You really can't see or believe that every small step counts when you are looking at, for all intents and purposes, a mountain. Take a breath. Try not to think of the end goal. Do the thing because it needs to be done, not because it is one step out of a thousand. The goal should be to move forward.
Song: Brave Shine (Aimer) Japanese or English version. You should check out the AmaLee one for the English version
Pile 2: You are repressing positive or non stressing emotions following stressful events. It makes sense right? To be stressed about a stressful event. But worrying and being dramatic doesn't actually solve the problem. Feel what you need to, but don't sit there. Try being optimistic while moving through your emotions. Rest. You must be exhausted.
Song: This Is Your life (Switchfoot)
Pile 3: You are repressing your true self. There is a vicious cycle of being stuck and not fully accepting that you are the one who determines who you are and what is right for you. And what isn't. Don't be scared to search out like minded people or people who will support you wholeheartedly. You can keep some of your restraint and do one thing at a time, but open up.
Song: Home (Daughtry)

I have been reading a lot more lately. And researching more so that is fun. Currently I only have three books but I haven't completed any of them SO I am working on that right now. I think it is important to learn as much as I can from the materials that I have.
Currently the books I have are:
Moonology
Psychic Witch
Rebel Witch
Currently working on reading Moonology then I will work on the others. I like finishing books before starting new ones. Reading for me is hard in general but I am damn determined to read all the books I bought from cover to cover.
I have also been working on getting some new oracle and tarot decks as well as an affirmation deck as mentioned before.
Currently the decks I have are:
Moonology Oracle
Moonology Manifestation Oracle
Prism Oracle
Disney Villains Tarot
Good Omens Affirmation Deck
I am working on getting the money for the Good Omens tarot deck this November when it comes out. Gabriel, Muriel, and Beelzebub really want that deck and honestly do NOT blame them it looks really pretty. Doc also agreed to use that deck ( he hates the villain one lol ). So it is a win on all fronts.
Another thing I am working on is finding some keychains for Gabriel, Muriel, and Beelzebub. Which I have found just saving money for them as well the art is really cute. I have so much planned and it makes me oh so excited.
Also looking for more Doctor Who themed stuff for Doc mostly keychains and such for a bag I want to get to carry around my travel altar in. I want to have a bag to put keychains of the entities I work with in so I can feel closer to them when I am having a meltdown. I will show off the progress as I work on all of this.
Anyways thank you for listening to my rambling. And stay awesome!!!

But first, the key is in our readiness to claim, confidence to deserve the best and above all, the optimism (faith) that will make room for receiving.
Like every other living creature, we're all made with sunshine particles, ever-glowing and ever-growing, a miraculous evolution.
It is you now reaching a point of owning back your power to achieve anything!

Writing Ghosts
Astral projection - The process of separating the astral body, the body’s spirit or consciousness, from the physical body. It’s an out-of-body experience. Deriving from the Latin astralis, astral projection can also be called astral travel, because it’s believed the spirit traverses the entire universe. Spiritualists use astral projection to communicate with those beyond the earthly realm.
Bogey - another word for evil spirit. The word probably traces back to the Middle English bugge, “frightening specter”.
Boggart - Related to bogey and bugge, boggarts can haunt domestic or geographic areas. Boggarts are always mean.
Channeling - In spiritualism, it is communicating with the paranormal in a state of trance or meditation. Spiritualists describe the action as “plugging into a switchboard” or a “grid frequency” to receive information from the ‘other side.’
Clairvoyance - Any ability to perceive psychic phenomena. In spiritualism, clair (“clear”) can be prefixed before any of the other four ‘normal’ senses, resulting in terminology that applies to a medium’s super-sensitive perception of a spirit: clairaudience is “clear hearing,” clairsentience “clear feeling,” clairalience “clear smelling,” and clairgustance “clear tasting.”
Cold spots - In the paranormal world, cold spots are indications of spirit activity. They aren’t sensed by everyone; the ones that do feel the chill are said to be more sensitive to the preternatural.
Doppelgänger - In the ghostly realm, a doppelgänger is an exceptional spirit, possessing the unique ability to appear in more than one place at once. This talent is reflected in its German name, which means “double goer” or “double walker.” Usually, a person’s doppelgänger appears as a sign of something bad to come, or as an omen of the viewer’s impending death. The poet Percy Bysshe Shelley is said to have seen his doppelgänger a week before he drowned.
Ectoplasm - Adopting a biological term originating in the late 1800s, spiritualists define ectoplasm as a cloudy mist, “usually a milky white vaporous color,” that halos before an apparition appears. From Greek ecto (“outside”) and plasma (“something developed or created”), this mystical mist is like a protective skin through which the specter shimmers into view.
Eidolon - In Ancient Greece, eidolons were spirits of the dead who possessed the living. Not always menacing, they would inhabit a living individual to convey a message, carry out an action for one of the gods, or tie up loose ends leftover after they died.
Kobold - Meaning “hut goblins,” kobolds can be kind or conniving depending on their mood. They’re also entirely changeable in appearance, with the option to materialize in human, animal, or object form.
Lemures - (also called larvae) The unequivocally bad ghosts of Ancient Rome, whose violent tempers and deeds in life mean eternal punishment to roam the limbo between worlds. To keep lemures at bay, Romans would fling spit-soaked black beans into the night shouting, “Be gone, you specters of the house!”
Manes - Romans believed people’s souls were demons, which were categorized in the afterlife. Good souls were called lares, bad souls lemures, and the in-betweeners were the manes. These are “the thin or unsubstantial” souls.
Necromancy - Whether you converse with spirits the old-fashioned way or by exchanging telepathic thought-waves, communicating with the deceased is an example of necromancy. The word traces back to the Ancient Greek nekromanteia, where nekros meant “dead body” and manteia “divination” or “oracle.” In effect, a necromancer is divining or discovering information from the deceased about the past, the future, or the world beyond.
Poltergeist - In German, poltergeist means “noisy ghost,” the ‘noise” in question produced by the sounds objects make when hurled and smashed against walls, ceilings, other objects, and screaming human beings.
Psychokinesis - Another paranormal power is psychokinesis or telekinesis, where objects are moved without physical contact with them. In Greek, kinesis means “movement” or “motion.” The psycho– prefix highlights the “mental,” “spirit,” or “unconscious” force behind the movement (movement with the mind), while tele- references the “distance” between the mover and the thing moved (movement without being close to or touching the object).
Revenant - One that returns after death or a long absence.
Vortex - Just as a natural vortex is a whirling mass of water, fire, or air, a paranormal vortex is a spinning swirl. But it’s composed of supernatural elements, which can apparently only be captured in photographs—they appear as refractions or corkscrews of light.
Wraith - In Scottish lore, doppelgängers or fetches were called wraiths. The wraith can be a water spirit portending a sailor’s death at sea, or a more general prophesy of demise, taking shape in the exhalation of a dying person’s breath.

Ooh! "Rapture Culture" is a useful phrase, I'm keeping that. It's directly related to "Purity Culture", and every bit as threatening.
I've been thinking of it as "Apocalypse culture" or perhaps more to the point, "yearning for apocalypse". There's this pervasive idea that the world will be easier to cope with if we can just have a hard reset where all the bad people magically are separated from all the good people, and the playing field will be level. The clearest form includes there being a single omniscient authority who can guarantee the results, but I see folks yearning for it even if they don't believe that authority figure exists, and that baffles me even more.
I suppose it's a response to overwhelm... and a sign that at least European (and subsequent colonial) culture has been semi-perpetually overwhelmed for hundreds of years at least. But it's also grounded in a strongly dualistic worldview, and I'm frankly exhausted of the hot and cold running false dichotomies.
Years ago I wrote what was actually a furious rant, but most people parsed as an uplifting speech, for a round of Oracles from the Living Tarot. I portrayed the Judgement card.
I think it was likely influenced by, amongst other things, Good Omens. (I can certainly see the connections now, having had my interest in the novel extremely reinforced by the show and subsequent fandom!)
I'll put it behind a fold, for those interested:
Judgement as performed on March 18th, 2006
*Angel draped in white crepe cross-tied in gold ribbon walks lightly to center stage. She opens a book bound in black raw silk with silver ribbon*
Once upon a time you lived in Paradise The grass was green The sky was blue The age was golden
The light was beautiful And the dark was a mystery you never wanted to consider
It never occurred to you to question the beauty of IS
Until someone*gestures to Devil* taught you SHOULD...
*the book slams shut*
... And paradise was lost.
*the book falls to the floor with a resounding BANG* *Angel begins to pace, her expression thoughtful*
You never forgot that trick You never forgave yourself for falling And you never again trusted the Divine for allowing it
But you never gave up hope! Someday the sky will fall! Someday your pain will end. Someday everything you ever wanted will be yours. Someday you will return to paradise.
Well rejoice, children of paradise! For your waiting is over. Yesterday is gone forever and Tomorrow the world ends!
So rise and fulfill your destinies!
*Angel raises her arms, saluting the heavens. She looks down at the audience, expectantly.*
For they will never be handed to you.
You will not live to see Tomorrow. You awoke today. You live today. You will sleep today. And when you awaken again it will be Today.
Tomorrow never comes. You cannot return to paradise.
*Angel returns to center stage, and picks up the book* *She holds the book out to the audience*
You never left.
*Angel smiles gently, and exits*
There is no "after the revolution." No "ideal world." I don't care how much progress we make, we will always fail someone, hurt someone, and the best thing we can do is accept that, and keep striving to make it better as we go.
And don't get me wrong, I don't say this to discourage anyone from trying to make that ideal world. Quite the opposite.
I feel like it's very naive to continue to approach these big changes we want to make in the world as if there's an "after it's all over" when we don't have to worry about it anymore.
We should always be striving to make life better, even when life seems pretty damn good.

Maedros in Troy AU
Long, long post about my very niche obsession. Original AU by @sweetteaanddragons can be found here.
Every so often when I'm listening to EPIC, my mind will play six-degrees-of-Kevin-Bacon and I'll end up back at this AU. This particular addition was inspired by my remembering that Achilles was a redhead (Or maybe strawberry-blonde, idk enough about the Greek language to say for sure. His son was a redhead, and he once went by the alias of "the redheaded girl.")
The morning after the sack of Troy is a somber affair, even, surprisingly, amongst the victors. The surviving Achaean princes limp their way back to the feet of the horse, finally able to take a headcount. Odysseus and Ajax the Lesser are missing, Neoptolemus is nursing a nasty leg-wound, and less concerning but equally inconvenient, Menelaus and Helen have absconded to Sparta to start their second honeymoon.
Neoptolemus, in particular, has been having a day. First he got paired with Odysseus, which he has come to learn means he's going to be acting as the muscle while the Ithacan takes the credit. Then Odysseus was granted the honor of ending Hector's bloodline, and Neo couldn't even say anything because the order came directly from the mouth of Zeus. (Odysseus already took his father's armor. Could Neo not at least be allowed his vengeance?) Then Hector's woman took a swipe at him with a dagger, which Neo handled quite easily, then a madman burst out of the crypts and nearly cut his leg off, which presented a bit more of a challenge.

The princes compare notes, slowly piecing together a picture of The Stranger who carved a bloody swath through their armies and then disappeared as quickly as he materialized. Finally, Eurylochus says what everyone else has been thinking (fearing). Towering in stature, redhaired, wearing armor that turned their blades and wielding a sword that pierced through bronze like soft clay? They all know who that sounds like.
Yes, the others reluctantly admit, The Stranger is most definitely the ghost of Achilles, returned from the grave to once again punish them all for the sake of some personal slight. (Neo can't stop thinking about the look in the man's eyes, that look of pity or maybe disappointment before he left the youth bleeding on the steps of Hector's tomb).
Diomedes is the only one to object. Aside from Neo, he was the only one to get a good look at The Stranger and live to tell about it. That wasn't Achilles. In fact, he made the man bleed, so he wasn't a ghost either. No one else seems convinced.
Neo confirms that Odysseus went into Hector's tomb alone, and only The Stranger emerged. Sage nods are exchanged amongst the other princes -- Achilles must have returned to avenge his old comrade, Greater Ajax. But then why would he kill so many Achaeans after presumably taking his vengeance on Odysseus? (Agamemnon scoffs. As if Achilles ever needed a reason to be a pain.)
Then a messenger arrives, breathlessly announcing that Ajax the Lesser has been found. Specifically, he has been found dead by a blow from The Stranger's magic sword, lying at the feet of a toppled statue of Athena.
Now that's clearly an omen of some sort, though no one can agree on what message to take from it. Athena is Odysseus's patron, but is the toppled statue a sign of judgement or of disrespect? Does this have anything to do with The Lesser's cousin The Greater? Nestor suggests consulting the Trojan oracle Helenus. They left the boy tied up on Agamemnon's ship after Odysseus finished with him, and he was still alive the last time they checked. Perhaps he can interpret the omen.
This plan only makes it as far as the beach, where the gang discovers that both the oracle and Agamemnon's flagship have been stolen.
Suddenly it all makes perfect sense. Diomedes explodes -- yet again, Achilles is punishing them all for the sake of his feud with Agamemnon. The High King sputters out a denial -- he and Achilles were square when the man died. His conscience is perfectly clean. He still looks as if he is actively having a heart attack.
Nestor attempts to intervene. Diomedes shouldn't jump to conclusions... But if Agamemnon knows of anything that might have brought a vengeful Achilles back from the grave, he really should tell them. They promise they won't be mad.
Agamemnon has the horrible, sinking feeling that this might be about the fact that he took a leak on the ashes of Achille's funeral pyre. But he's certainly not going to admit to that. Wounded or no, Neo has a good couple of inches on him, and the kid is built like he strangles oxen for a hobby. He has that same twitchy look in his eye that his father always had.
This man cannot have been Achilles, he insists, and Agamemnon is going to bring back his head to prove it! (No one else is willing to set sail while the son of a Nereid might be after their heads, and Agamemnon is quite sure that they're one more bad omen away from sacrificing him to appease Achilles. It's what he would do, were he in their position.) Eurylochus and his crew quickly get pressed into service -- they need a captain, and Agamemnon needs a boat. And don't they want to avenge their fallen king?
Neo insists on coming along, much to Agamemnon's horror.

Maedhros isn't ready to panic just yet. Disorienting as that first night was, he's now fairly certain that he knows where he is. He's on the eastern side of the Sea of Rhûn. This is an inland sea, and the climate and general look of the people suggest that he's somewhere south and east of Dorwinion. He's a long way from home, to be sure, but at least he knows how to get back. He takes a moment to privately curse that storm Maia for dragging him so far out of his way.
He's fairly certain that the woman he rescued is the baby's mother. At least, she seemed very relieved to have him back. So if he recalls the storm Maia's threats correctly, that would make her the prince's widow. The others seem to tentatively consider her to be in charge, and she's at least attempted to communicate with him. Maybe she can help him get his bearings.
Unfortunately, she doesn't speak any of the Easterling tongues he learned from Bór. That's not terribly surprising. Rhûn is a land of many nations, and this particular clan must be rather isolated if they're still casting weapons out of bronze. That's fine. He might not invent new languages on a whim as his father did, but he does enjoy learning them.
The golden-haired girl hasn't stopped watching him. She looks away with a pained expression every time he catches her at it, but even now he can feel her eyes boring into the back of his head. He saw eyes like that once before -- the first time he saw a mirror after Thangorodrim.
The others give her a wide berth, though she does nothing apart from sit curled under the mast, arms around her knees. During their flight, she broke from her stupor long enough to lead them to this ship -- the same ship where they found the prisoner who Maedhros assumes to be her twin brother. It almost seemed as if she knew where...
But that would be ridiculous. She couldn't have known. Maedhros rather forcibly shrugs the notion off. They're twins. He's seen Amrod and Amras do far stranger.
On his first night, Maedhros was too preoccupied to look up. Even had he chanced to look at the sky, the smoke of the city's burning would have blotted out the stars. He spends the following day tending to the wounded, despite having nothing but torn clothing and seawater, and offering what comfort he can, despite speaking not a word of their language. When the sun sets, he forces himself to stay awake. One look at the stars will give him his heading, and from there he can plan the route home...

Oh. Maedhros doesn't know those stars.
Maedhros is beginning to suspect that he isn't in Rhûn.
More coming soon, by request of @sweetteaanddragons !

Pile 2: You are in the flow of being at peace with the process of life. You may be content being a background person whose job and day to day actions are not glamorized and can sometimes be ignored. You acknowledge that there is meaning in small and humble tasks. However, if you feel something needs to shift, it’s important to let it. You may need to tend to yourself more often and fully.

Pile 3: You are being fluid, like water, but possibly to your detriment. What do you want and need? Have you asked yourself these questions? If something requires bravery and sacrifice, can you do it? Ask your higher self what you truly are and then make sure your actions align with that. This may require going deeper than you have gone before.

What is Pop Culture Magic/Witchcraft?
In this post I will explain what pop culture magic is, how it works, and who can practice it. Please be aware this is very much a jumping off point. I recommend doing your own research and coming to your own conclusions.
Pop culture Magic is a sub section of chaos magic that believes you can use pop culture in your magic. This can be done a plethora of ways but the most popular include using incantations made for media, working with characters from media in the way you would work with any deity or being, using tarot/oracle decks that are inspired by certain media (like a Good Omens deck or a Disney Villains deck) or using game cards for oracle decks (like using pokemon cards as an oracle deck), and using music to help with spells, as divination (shufflemancy), or as a devotional act. Keep in mind this is by no means an extensive list of all things pop culture magic. It’s just the most popular parts of it.
How does that work?
As stated earlier, pop culture magic is a subsection of chaos magic. Now modern day chaos magic is the belief that as long as you’re putting your energy and intentions into something it will work. Thats how a lot of people believe pop culture magic works.
Can anyone practice this?
YES!! Pop culture magic is an open form of magic that is very beginner friendly!! If you’re unsure where to start, I highly recommend looking at the pop culture magic tag on tumblr and finding something that interests you and going from there.
