The fact that crowley was fem presenting at Noah’s ark and at Jesus’ crucifixion and now s2 has added bildad the shuhite inbetween has made me wonder if crowley was fem presenting for the entire duration (around 2500 years) and that she was wearing the bildad the shuhite gear the same way shakespeares women characters dressed up as men sometime lol

Uncomfortable Ramifications
As a separate follow-up to my post about my perceived disparity between the actions and their results of the alarms in heaven and the apology dance, I'm going to try to describe - as if it isn't obvious - why these are so scary to try and resolve. And this is coming from someone who is all-but onboard with the possibility that there are two realities (for want of a better word). And/or that things are so very out of order. Or overlapping...or something!
So, yeh, I'm just going to put myself out here for ridicule and pity. But I think I will feel better just to get it out of my brain and out there.
If we I try to put the bright flash of light in heaven with the Jim-hiding miracle, that puts Crowley in two places at the "same" time... but at two supposed different chronological times (????): performing the miracle with Azi AND being in heaven with Muriel and Saraqael, which is supposed to be during the demon attack. WTH?
In my post comparing the different Arrivals, I asked about this:
As for those trumpets...what? Why are we hearing trumpets? I know we hear them in S1E4 after they beat up Aziraphale and that was to signal that Armageddon was starting.
If the trumpets that Azi hears in the music shop with Maggie in E2, are when Crowley and the angels return to earth as a result of Azi blowing up his halo and nearly declaring war on hell, rather than the "hiding Gabriel" inquiry...well, that obviously puts Azi in two places at the same...different...time. WTF?
As an aside, if the trumpets really correspond to Michael, Uriel, and Saraqael simply going to earth, to the bookshop, to inquire about Gabriel, that seems to contradict the Metatron's desire (order?) to explicitly NOT raise any alarms about Gabriel's disappearance.
SARAQUEL: Right. I can't… I can't find his memory anywhere. In fact, I can't find him in the building. He's left Heaven. Should I sound an alert? METATRON: Oh, don't be so wet. No, you're all just going to have to find him. That's all.
So, again, I ask, what's with the trumpets?
Anyway, I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.
If the apology dance is for not returning to help defend the shop against the demons, that puts the demon attack before they even perform the miracle to hide Gabriel. Not to mention before the kiss and Azi's departure.
So even though the actions (e.g., the hiding miracle/halo explosion, and what warrants an apology dance) and their results feel out of proportion, trying to swap those around just makes things worse.
And, yes, I am very much aware what utter BS this must sound like. I get it.
My own brain hurts. It's just that I'm having a problem taking the chrono order that we've been shown without questioning it. On the other hand, perhaps I have no choice.
I hope I have given you all a good laugh. And maybe this post just needs to sink into obscurity. Yeh, probably for the best.

All I want in this whole silly world is that, when this is all over, for Prime to release a single, long cut of Good Omens in order across all three seasons.
Tumblr media
I wrote out how to watch Good Omens in chronological order if for some reason you wanted to do that.

false pretenses is now a series of loosely connected smutty one shots in which I rewrite some of their encounters but (surprise) they have sex! (shock, gasp) kind of curious to explore how their dynamic would change a bit but stay fundamentally the same if they'd ~accidentally~ started partaking of the other's body very early on and then found they never really wanted to stop...but then there's the danger and the increasing feelings and the angst of not being able to do it outright - so they always bend the rules, and pretend...
[the two oneshots I've written so far are vive la révolution / 1793 french revolution and chocolates, honey / 1800 bookshop opening]

I don't know whether to start the Crowley/Muriel story with a crescendo, leave it at a cliffhanger, and go back to the beginning, then leading back to the cliffhanger, or just to start at the beginning...

Good News to all Good Omens fans!
(Please read this, it doesnt take long to read and recording and editing all of this took me a whole week of non-stop work)
I have made a Youtube Playlist of all of Good Omens put into chronological order.
Originally I just had a notes document with all the time stamps put into chronological order (with labels) but I have now made it a reality!
The notes document is still accessible for everyone on my account (currently it’s the pinned post but I think once I upload the YouTube link, that will be the pinned post) and if you would rather watch Good Omens in Chronological Order manually, then feel free to do so :D
The Link for the Youtube playlist will be posted on my account on Sunday 21st April, just after teatime (4:45pm BST, 11:45am ET, 10:45am CT, 9:45am MT & 8:45am PT). It will also become a public playlist so if you look up ‘Good Omens in Chronological Order’ it should come up
If this post gets deleted it's because I need more time to figure some things out.
Here is the link to the tumblr post with all the links
(please share this so people see it, i hate to ask but so much effort was put it. Thank you <3)

Good Omens: all about its score
I know these have a lot of text, but I tried to put everything in a “chronological, this fits together” order. If you love music, you know how much the score of a certain series/ film adds to the feeling of it.
David Arnold is a genius. There is so much going on beneath the surface. All those little strings you might not pay attention to, they are ATTENTION worthy.
This is part 1. There is a part 2 here!
I also want to point out the one thing I did not add on the slides: there is a moment at the beginning of episode 6 of season 1 where Mark Kermode played the harmonica. (Just as a little cameo for you :) ) In the words of @neil-gaiman “ Ennio Morricone-style Western harmonica music”.
All of the information here was gathered from interviews with David Arnold. (Those include videos as well and the DVD commentaries). I will leave all my sources in part 2.

Hello Mr Neil Gaiman sir,
I was just wondering, because I’ve put all of Good Omens into chronological order, whether Crowley actually slept through the 19th Century or if he just liked to think he did. Because in the 1800’s he both assisted a few grave robberies and asked Aziraphale for holy water.
Or are the series and book only canon within themselves?
Thank you for you time :)
When they contradict each other they are canon to themselves.

All the times Crowley calls Aziraphale by name - Chronological order
See also All the times Crowley calls Aziraphale "Angel" - Chronological order
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A few considerations. 1) After the Ark encounter, Crowley does call Aziraphale mainly 'Angel' over the centuries (Bildad, 1793, 1827, 1862) with one exception: 1827, when Wee Morag is dying and Crowley needs the angel to realize it's too late to heal her. Which is a major clue to the fact that calling him 'Aziraphale' could be a term of endearment. 2) Which may or may not be confirmed by the drunken scene after the fire: when Crowley sees the angel almost as a ghost, he says 'Aziraphale' - not 'Angel'. 3) After the Ark, considering the plot up to Season 1, the name 'Aziraphale' comes out when Crowley is calling after delivering the Antichrist (very formal occasion) and when Crowley is scared and/or angered (where are you, you idiot) or annoyed (kick butts, shoot him), 4) The Lockdown scene starts with a very sarcastic Crowley scolding the angel because he obviously knows it's 'Aziraphale' calling (again, annoyed), but it ends with the most heavenly 'Goodnight, Angel' after realizing he can't see him, yet. 5) As for Season 2, Crowley NEVER directly calls Aziraphale by name when they are alone together (see the very satisfying aformentioned 'Angel' compilation); however, when he's talking with other angels and/or demons he uses his first name - which is most convenient since they are more vulnerable around them. 6) The Us time they never got still breaks me.
In conclusion, I totally agree with @justdecadentcollectiondestiny (read this): There's probably a very good reason why Crowley stops calling Aziraphale 'Angel' after the bookshop fire - at least he stops until everything is over with Adam and Satan. I'm also sure there's a reason why Crowley refers to him only as 'Angel' throughout the whole second season (*Cough - quiet and gentle and romantic omens - *Cough). He felt safe enough; it was the time he dared to hope that the precious, peaceful, fragile existence would really work.
Of course, this is mere speculation. But the use of the two different names has meaning. Once again, hail to Neil. The Goat. This perfectionism (intended or unintended) delivers perfectly, and you can totally perceive the rollercoaster of Crowley's feelings for Aziraphale, from Eden to You're better than that.
As requested by @tremendouspostcoffee
