[fallen-mario-bros-au]

Decided to play around with the designs for fallen Mario and Luigi. Their personalities are the same, although mostly based off the Mario and Luigi games, which is why the letters on their hats are black. Their sweaters were also important. You can't be a fallen human without a cute sweater. Both got a bit scuffed up when they fell, but thankfully they weren't injured or anything.

I also wanted to play around with soul colors because I had no idea what I was gonna do with those. Ultimately, I decided to keep them red and green so they could be easily distinguished, but Mario has a more orange red for determination + bravery (and as a reference to the Firebrand) while Luigi's is more of a teal-ish green to reference kindness + patience and also his iconic Thunderhand. I was really worried about using the same colors on top of their clothes but after playing around with the lighting I decided I really liked the look.

But yeah I feel like it fits them pretty well! Lemme know what y'all think!

• And if you’re sad he’ll get you mango sticky rice.

• And when you’re feeling like the world is just disgusting and dark and rude (we all do sometimes) he‘ll make sure you’ll have hot bowl of Tom Kha Kai whilst snuggling up to him on the couch with a blanket just eating in silence and watching the world go to sleep (yes I’m soft and what about it)

• Bambam cooking also means lots of trying not to make the food too spicy for you because he keeps forgetting that you still have functioning, sensitive tastebuds

• Because even if you like spicy, keep in mind that he is Thai

• Believe me when I say that spice is a bit different defined and measured than you might are used to it

• Oh and uhm...

• When you maybe get pregnant, the man would make sure to cook accordingly

• Like fresh spring rolls or tom yum goong, fruit, all the good stuff.

• Would immediately scratch Papaya salad, curry and just everything that could potentially harm the child or you out of his diet for nine months if he has to

• But at the moment that’s not a topic because although he likes children, he wants to have you for himself for a bit now

• But he would definitely be a pretty dope dad, just saying

• Showing off his minion just as much as he did with you

• And CARRYING THEM

• Yes he’d be that kind of dad I’m convinced oke? Oke.

Episode 9 - DON’T DEAD OPEN INSIDE & Foxglove loves all the tropes

Hello there! Welcome to episode 9, I spent the whole day yesterday decluttering my shoes, clothes and makeup, because surprise! I got too much shit and it doesn’t fit anywhere anymore (let’s not think about the fact that I have even more makeup on its way). In other news my cat is back to sleeping on my legs at night again (he stopped doing so about a month ago. I’m p sure is the fact that I sublimate “stress” into “anger”) which means now I have him and another adult cat sharing my bed. It’s awesome.

He actually got a really high score, so I’ll share how he studied for that class lol

Reading the textbook

Take notes as you read, but also don’t read literally word for word because that would waste your time lol. Make sure you take notes on Bolded vocabulary words because obviously they should be important

Don’t spend so much time on things that you know already or that are easy. 

Re-read sections that you have difficulty understanding 

Re-read sections that contain important concepts (for yours i think it was mainly cellular respiration? my boyfriend made sure he knew dat shit backwards and upside down)

Reviewing worksheets/class materials

If your professor gave out worksheets to do, definitely do them again because those come straight from the professor so that’s exactly what they want you to know

If you get powerpoint slides form lecture, Definitely Go Over Those

Review your lecture notes because most LS classes will only hold you accountable for what is said in lecture

DO THE QUIZZES AGAIN/DO THE PRACTICE QUIZZES sometimes those questions can show up exactly on the test

Other review tips that I have used include flash cards, having someone quiz me (very helpful), and drawing out major mechanisms (like the cellular respiration). 

The thing about biology is that it’s kind of like history; there are no “practice problems,” you kinda just have to know it.

Using mnemonics (like for oxidation: OIL RIG = Oxidation Is Loss, Reduction is Gain of electrons) is also the fastest way to remember things. Thinking of ways to connect topics to other easily understood topics is useful too.

(btw the stuff you are learning in 7A is running equivalent to what I’m learning in LS 3 {bio isn’t really a cumulative thing though so it’s ok don’t be intimidated you can do this!!} so like if you have questions about certain things you could always ask, or you can see my chicken scratch LS3 notes here)
