AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.
When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.
He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.
Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.
It would be nice to hear from Wanda and Cosmo! It is kind of nice that you guys have two children like your own family does. Are you two still close to your siblings? Wanda has a sibling and Cosmo also have a sibling just like Timmy and Peri. Do they share some sibling stories to your children?
Wanda and Cosmo both reconnected with their siblings shortly after having Peri. Or, well. More like Blonda reentered their lives once she realized she had a baby nephew. Eventually, they slowly patched things up the more Blonda came to visit Peri.
Schnozmo was dragged back kicking and screaming. Mama Cosma refuses to have her sons live estranged lives now that she has a grandchild in the picture. Schnozmo doesn't know how to handle children, but he's doing his best.
Peri likes Schnozmo because he makes silly noises and funny stories. But he prefers Blonda's theatrics much more and loves playing Dress Up with her.
I'm also still laughing that he really showed up, introduced himself as an Archivist of the Cobalt Soul, and then insinuated that they were going to go extrajudicially hunt down, capture, and "interrogate" a Cerberus Assembly Archmage. Sir, archivists do not do that kind of thing, least of all on their own, LEAST OF ALL with a bunch of random hooligans they were just sent to collect for an unrelated excursion. Quite honestly, that was the thing I kept going back to in evidence of, there is absolutely no way this is a legit archivist.
Aftermath Impact 6 | Finally some good news :D AND BARRY'S HERE!
SO to keep on my schedule, i had to gloss over the hospital trip despite all the nonsense that i wanted to happen. i wanted it to be tense and stressful and have some close calls or something but alas. I had to jam it all into one page.
This is definitely an invite to some of you talented writers out there, if that idea speaks to you please go off XD
I heart Until Dawn and it's collection of comically stupid characters. and I do mean all of them. and I do mean it affectionately. I just. god. the reason that anything can happen to these people At All is because, somehow, Every Single One Of Them decided that it was a good idea to accept an invite to the World's Most Suspicious Event at the World's Most Suspicious Place. "hmm!! I'm sure nothing strange or horrific is going to happen to us up on our rich friend's isolated mountain lodge; why would it?? I mean, sure, we Are going to be up there on the exact same date that we inadvertently triggered the events of his sisters' disappearance, but surely he's not upset with us about that or anything. let's go!!" seven separate people. nobody thought anything of it. it's incredible. impressive, even. I mean, I don't know. me personallyyyyy?? I probably would've received that invitation and thought, "oh, he's For Sure gonna do something to us up there, and he For Sure has the means to get away with it; I'm Not Gonna Go." but. hey. that's just me.
One thing I wanna do more is include Battinson's complete lack of filter.
That scene at the funeral where Falcone tried to push that 'your father saved me for a reason' fantasy, which Bruce ended very quickly with his '' He took the Hippocratic oath" line
It can sure read as snarky, and in some parts, it was, -- Falcone's antourage surely saw it as that, -- but Bruce was completely serious.
It wasn't a diplomatic move on his part, but that's why it works. 'No filter' doesn't generally entail being rude and bold, it's your thoughts being faster than your mouth without considering how it'd sound out loud
Not to mention, Bruce wouldn't process sarcasm the same as everyone else. He's good at dishing it, for sure, but we've seen he's completely oblivious to obvious social ques,
If somebody were to be like, " haha maybe YOU'RE batman" him, the go to reaction would be " haha good one"
Bruce? Would start shaking on the spot. It's raining nerves out here. " No I'm not." With a blank face, " I'm not. I'm scared of bats. I hate bats. I wish bats never existed. I wish YOU never existed. Im sorry. Goodbye." Before taking off in a hurry.
i don’t know if i necessarily view daniel as suicidal. sure, a disregard for his well-being could be interpreted that way. it's easy to see a drug addict in false recovery, still grappling with alcoholism, and think "well that's suicidal ideation." however, i would argue that daniel is among the few who genuinely want to live. daniel tells louis to get off the bench and he fights back against armand's thrall. he's similar to claudia in that regard, isn't he? he doesn't stick his head into the lion's mouth out of a death wish; he does it because it's fun. he chases highs, stories, and connections.
louis didn't install "a bright young reporter with a point of view" because daniel had already cast that net. daniel says them to armand first. louis made them a beacon that daniel could always see from far out beyond the waves. louis and daniel connected because they were both lonely. when daniel asks louis if he gravitated toward san fran as a hub for homophiles, it is a projection for them both. he's a lonely rural farm kid from modesto, ca. if he gets high enough, maybe he can relax and open them up to him, be who they need him to be. he travels around this city and tries to forge connections on tape, but at the end of the night, he’s alone, replaying the conversations over and over again. i think this says a lot more about armand, who glimpsed that feeling and assumed that such profound loneliness and disconnect must mean daniel wants to die.
the first time we meet daniel, he’s dying alone in his apartment. tapes dated 9/4/73 appear in his mailbox, and he’s catching the next plane out because someone remembers him.
Michael Sheen playing Aziraphale so much more markedly effervescent in GO2 is delightful, and campy, and perfect in the narrative arc, but damn, it’s also a very cruel way to set up the contrast of how stiff and restrained he will have to be in GO3, like putting a geode back together to hide all its color.
btw what theon went through is what thousands upon thousands upon thousands of slaves still go through in essos. so, do you still feel pity for the slavers that were crucified? do you still pity the slavers killed when daenerys freed the unsullied?
i ask these questions, and yet i know that there are still many people who believe that the violence against the slavers wasn’t justified, or believe that it was simply “too much” or “not fair.” truly… what an insane hill to die on.
maybe these people should spare more empathy for the formerly enslaved instead of wasting time making up excuses (that are not supported by the text) for why the slave masters' deaths were somehow not justified 🫶
