Kyle Adam Carrozza manipulated me and my family. He manipulated everyone to have his back. He has a habit of lovebombing people to get them to trust him and them sneaks his way into overstepping boundaries, and according to some people now, molesting them.

I knew him IRL for a decade and now I feel extremely disgusted that i knew him since I was a kid. I wish my parents and I never met him. He is an evil monster, worse than John K and Dan Schneider. I almost worked on an animation project with him. Specifically the Moobeard reboot. Thank God I didn't, and I dodged a bullet. He was my only animation connection so I felt like I had to be on good terms with him, and that's how he keeps relationships- by holding you hostage and dangling an animation-industry carrot above the heads of young artists like a starved horse.

I was privately in the defense of him before because everyone I knew was and how they described the Ang controversy didn't seem that bad at the time. but I never spoke about it publicly, only with close friends. I told a mutual on my stance on his controversy and they harassed and blocked me over it but it turned out they were in the right all along. They're having the last laugh right now, whoopty do.

Being a shota/lolicon is disgusting but it's a coughing baby compared to owning actual CSEM. If drawing that stuff prevents real crime then I can't say I'm completely against it existing, as fucked up as that sounds. I'm already sorta neutral on the whole proship/anti thing and I don't think I'm ever gonna talk about that kind of topic ever again in fear I'll be seen as someone like Kyle who's hiding skeletons.

I wasn't the only person who knew about his google drive- he talked about it publicly on twitter, which was fucking stupid of him but at least it gives me proof. I am however, for some fucking reason the only one who put 2 and 2 together and realized it could be correlated with his arrest. If you haven't seen my NewGrounds journal, please read it.

When that happened, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and excused it as being either a hack or the same situation with Naoki Saito, who also had his google deleted for a similar reason THE SAME YEAR (it was a false positive)

someone told me that Ang took credit for his google being deleted, but if i'm being honest I think she's talking out of her ass. She also believes aliens visited her. I'm almost positive that Google tripped a hash and investigated privately, leading to his arrest. but again it's just a theory. if not, it's a wild coincidence.

I am so, so deeply sorry and I wish the best for the victims. Outing myself as his ex friend and providing more evidence against him will be my form of repent.

First and foremost, they’re all absolute sweethearts to me.

There are my irl friends, such as @wretchedshade, @granolabird, @siriuscitrus and @scales-of-stardust or beta as I usually refer to them. I share the same braincell with these people.

Wretchedshade has been my best friend since we were ten, we’ve been there for each other for 11 years. I initially got her into anime, and then she got me into jojo, and every once in a while we cry about Doukyuusei again. She’s a great artist and is really good at writing sad shit, which is why I write sad shit; to have the glory of finally making her cry. She kicked cancer’s teeth in a few months ago so it’s about goddamn time something good come her way and I WILL fight someone on that.

Granolabird is the dm for my dnd campaign, and like I said, absolute sweetheart, chaotic adhd haver (actually like most of my friend group is like this lmao we’re all queer and neurodivergent). Either way, we used to share thoughts on each other’s original stories, and we still do sometimes but it’s mostly just sending each other tiktoks/reels like “this you” or “this your oc.”

Siriuscitrus is usually pretty hyper, but also tries to be v considerate of everyone’s feelings. If you said that the McDonald’s employee put pickles on your burger when you said no, they’d probably be the one to tell them. They’re also scarily good at vibechecking people and told me I give “future he/they vibes” and like a week later I said “fuck you’re right oh my god.”

You’ve probably seen me and beta’s interactions on here or in the ao3 comments. We enjoy our like playful rivalry/enemyship. I like to torment tease her and she usually gets me back pretty good, it’s all in good fun. It’s also really funny to me whenever we meet up, I tell myself “you are friends with them for reasons other than fic so do not make it about fic” and then we’ll spend literally hours talking about and brainstorming fic ideas. It just Happens.

I’m also gonna add @memory-mortis into here because while we’ve not met irl I’ve introduced him to my friend group. Yet another sweetheart, love her art style a lot, and she was one of the first comments I got on ginkgo trees to motivate me to keep going. I was kinda worried about bringing him into my friendgroup because like if I’m not overthinking I am not thinking At All. I was super relieved and happy that she like IMMEDIATELY fit in with everyone so :D

For some of my other close but only on tumblr/ao3/outside my general friendgroup mutuals! (There are too many so I’m sorry if you’re not here it’s mostly people I interact with more regularly ;-;)

@crimson-ashes who I have occasionally with absolute love called my “askbox gremlin” because they live in my inbox. I need to stress this is affectionate because genuinely, I love opening tumblr and seeing I’ve got asks from them. They gotta stop posting Astarion though because I’m feeling So Tempted to play BG but I know my laptop would kill itself (joking).

@crystalflygeo and I know I’ve called everyone sweethearts but genuinely, she’s probably one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to. She’s really wholesome (unlike her writing which is never gonna be a complaint in my book, good soup) and super supportive of other people.

@madamemachikonew who’s super polite and really kind. She’s also really creative/smart when it comes to referencing real world art and philosophy in her writing and integrating it into her own worldbuilding. I would have never thought to have done that, and it makes her writing very unique!

We don’t interact as much but @probably-doesnt-exist, @ethve, @euniveve and @ainescribe are such talented artists and super sweet, have literally made me screech and cackle with utter joy whenever they draw the characters from ginkgo trees. I rotate through which art becomes my phone’s lock/home screens.

This is long af but fuck it, I wanna brighten people’s days and I told myself to say “I love you” to my friends and family more, so consider this one big “I love you!” to y’all. It’s a pleasure talking to y’all!

Hello World! Boyzteeth here!!

I am still alive!

I will deny this, but I am in fact a human... And like many humans, I found peace in solitude in isolation. I wove myself into a little cocoon, and found myself tightly wrapped in a shell of my own design. But it was very lonely in there, and much too quiet. In a loud symphony of synthesizers, I am slicing my way out! I am ready to create! I am shedding all the baggage I carry about being an artist (imposter syndrome, etc etc) and stepping out into a brave new world!

So, uh, what does that mean?

I'm gonna be making some efforts to re-organize my online presence. Maybe I'll make an instagram. I'm putting every song I've released on bandcamp onto my soundcloud, including some shiney new tracks. My goal is to start doing live shows in my home city! I'm working on connecting with other creative minds, and mutually powering up with other Queer creatives irl. This tumblr will still exist, and might even get a fancy new look.

I've never been good at this whole "internet presence" thing. If you are a fan of my work, congrats, because you are truly one of the coolest people on the internet! And you have probably have gone down an internet rabbithole finding my work. Hopefully, this new approach of mine will make it easier.

Knowing that people out there have heard my crazy creations blows my mind every day! Knowing that you have put my soundwaves thru ur speakers and into ur brainwaves fills my soul with rainbow colored energy!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Since becoming Boyzteeth, I have moved cities more than once, got a uni degree (and about to start another!), changed pronouns many times, made and lost friends, screamed and cried and laughed and created. Akdkskkdkds Where to even begin? I’ve been writing fanfiction for a VERY long time, before I even knew what fanfiction was. When I joined my first fandom (I refuse to say what it was), the sense of community and friendship was almost overwhelming for a little nerd like me

I’ve come very far since that first dip into fandom, but the people and friends I’ve made since then have greatly helped me feel confident in my own writing and creative abilities

Second, I HAD A WALL OF TEXT DONE HERE BUT THERE WAS A QUICK POWER SURGE AND MY DESKTOP COMPUTER SHUT DOWN JUST WHEN I WAS ABOUT DONE TYPING AND WAS CHECKING FOR TYPOS. I'm not gonna type all that shit again, sorry. Have the short version.

1- I like how easy I am to engage in conversation, at least when it's about something of my interest. Makes it easier to make new friends.

2- I like how I have a somewhat healthy relationship with my parents since early childhood, they decided it was best to build mutual trust so I wouldn't give them trouble when growing up and they were correct. The only trouble I gave them as a teenager was that I wouldn't leave home, I'd rather stay inside and draw XD Mom was desperate for me to go hang out with friends.

3- I like how STUBBORN I am. And I use it for the good. Don't try me. I've spent over 8 years in Graphic Design college even if the course was supposed to last only 2 years but I was a very slow learner and had someone else sabotaging me all the fucking time for me to fail classes AND STILL I WAS PRESSING ON. Just imagine how stubborn I can be to make someone feel loved and worthy. DON'T TRY ME, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

4- I like being an artist and the opportunities I had so far in life because of it. I've performed singing to over 7k people, I've performed with the biggest Digimon cosplay group in Brasil to pay tribute to Kouji Wada, I've made irl and online friendships that are currently lasting over a decade, I've made countless people smile when seeing my drawings. If you ever smiled at one of my drawings, thanks for enjoying it because it makes me happy and is definitely something I like about myself.

5- I like being honest. When I say something, I mean it. My Brazilian friends have this inner joke that I only work with the truth XD

Under the cut for some observations.

I have written a lot over the years and most of it is not fic, but here is what I can observe from original, fic, poetry and nonfiction. These are in no particular order, though I saved the best for last.

Identity I like to write about what makes a person themselves. A lot of my early spoken word poetry talked about body image and how to exist in a world like ours as a person who is not considered thin. Some of my favorite nonfiction pieces discussed what it was like to be a college student working retail and being recognized as other-than-a-retail-worker in public and how identity shifts between roles. In my fic, I explore a few things like what makes a hero a hero? Who are you when change/fate/destiny upends everything you've ever known? How do you become the person you're supposed to be?

Strength Especially in a lot of my fic, posted or otherwise, I think this crops up perhaps almost as much as identity. What does it mean to be strong? What sort of events do we weather and get to the other side of it? For who are we strong? Is being strong the same as being brave? What kinds of strength do we need in our daily lives and how does it affect our decisions? In the fic, we see a lot of the strength to overcome adversity by nature of the quest. But we also see, which dives into another point, the strength to forgive, the strength to confront ourselves for our behavior, and the strength to move forward, even when it hurts.

Friendship Ah, the power of friendship :> But no, even in a lot of my fic WIP ideas and fragments, there's a lot to be said of relationships within fiction that show different kinds of love and support than what is expected of a certain pairing or tag. There are a ton of different expressions of love, and I think one of the most underutilized is strong, solid friendships. This also incorporates found family or portraying a group of people who have decided against all odds that they will go out of their way for one another regardless of circumstances. When I write good friendships, I do it because it reminds me irl that we are worthy of this kind of support and we are capable of giving this kind of support, and not everything has to be as one-dimensional as popular media can sometimes show. Fic is the perfect place to explore it because it's decoupled from marketing, generally, and we don't have to worry too much about what sells (: So I lean into it where and when I can.

Mistakes This one is kind of rather broad. I could have listed specific kinds of mistakes but then we'd be here forever LOL but suffice to say I do write flawed characters that don't always know the next right thing. In my poetry, I talked about the mistakes I've made and observed in my time. I have given some of the mistakes I've made and observed to my characters in original and especially in World. Part of this category though is asking the question of how do these mistakes affect others? What does it take to forgive? Can they be forgiven, and why or why not? Is the character flaw so deep that there is no redemption for them? Are there certain kinds of mistakes that change who a person is completely? What is the cost of forgiveness? There's a lot to play with in this category without even having to get down to specifics. :>

Hope This is my favorite thing to write into any of my work ever. Perhaps because real life can be so very difficult and can seem so very bleak sometimes. Combined with everything above, I absolutely write hope into things, even if my stories seem rather bleak at the outset. For World, all of my POV characters have bits and pieces of tragedies that I have had to endure in my life and it's extremely cathartic to see them get through their drama, hardship, grief, self-inflicted chaos, and other things. Because it reminds me that there is hope yet for this place, if there is hope in their world. It is a form of healing for me to put them in situations they can get out of. So hope. The most important theme, I think, for my writing. (:

movie- I.... do not remember a lot of the movies we watched this year. The only one I can think of from this year is Barbarian n I absolutely would not say that it was the best lol. I looked up a list lol but I enjoyed the D&D movie and Fool's Paradise

tv show- gotta be Dimension 20!! Neverafter, Dungeons n Drag Queens, n Burrow's End (we still need to finish it) gave me liiiife. dungeons n drag queens also kickstarted my current drag race obsession!! I've watched 12 seasons in 3 months haha. I also really enjoyed The Last of Us bc my girl told me all the video game lore as we watched hehe

book- I embarrassingly do not read enough books! I started reading For Small Creatures Such As We by Sasha Sagan and that was... incredible. I need to get back into it n finish it!! (I read it aloud to my partner when she was in the hospital n we haven't read together in a while)

album- ooo tough tie between the whaler by home is where (hiwf♡♡♡) and So Much (for) Stardust by Fall Out Boy. the whaler is so full of raw emotion I can't help but feel it deep in my soul when I listen (it's been my go-to album for when I need to ~sob~), the singing saw just *gets* me. I'm seeing them live in 2024 and I'm going to sing at the top of my lungs and cry. I might even be brave enough to get in the pit lol. so much for stardust rekindled a childish joy I haven't felt in years (fob was THE soundtrack to me n my childhood bestie's adolescence), gave me energy on my bad days, n got me through a very, very, very hard month (when my babe got in her accident). I don't really listen to it much anymore bc it's kinda connected to that now.

food- we started going to this Venezuelan place in town that is *to die for*. omg. I eat sooo good every time we get it and get it for all of our guests when they visit!! I literally can't decide what I like the most from them

new thing- my tattoos!!! I got four this year after not getting any for 7 years- I'm so desperate for more!! I found a shop ran by queer folks for queer folks n I'm simply in love with them (definitely need to book with my artist asap for a thigh piece). exploring my gender more has been such a nice experience too. supporting my girl during her transition!!! huge!!!!! (she's been on hrt for almost 5 months now ♡♡♡!!!)

misc- I got to see NADDPOD live!! one of the happiest moments of this year for sure :) I made really good friends with my coworkers, we went to many concerts together (and I got to see merch I printed at multiple shows!!), and went to a few parties together. it's just really nice to have irl friends where I live haha. and I got to meet/talk with a lot of musicians bc of my job which is.. actually so fucking cool???? I made a lot of friends on here too n y'all have been so sweet and wonderful :)

favorite picture- honestly? one of my favorite photos from this year is one I took of all the staples in my girl's arm (she had to get 40) after her surgery.. it's a gross pic though so i will nottt be posting it lol. so instead have this cute one my friend took when we were out for my birthday :) I just love my maya kern bee skirt n had so much fun that day haha. it's actually not a great picture but you can see how happy I was so I like it :) (ps start masking again in public if you stopped!!)

a lot of my friends kinda use me as a wall to talk to? like they just want to talk about their aus and ideas and ocs and how they're doing and their relationships (one of them literally had me shuttle screenshots of them talking about how much they love each other and miss each other so much like a carrier pidgeon. it took multiple times of me complaining about it and saying "you might as well just stop with the pretenses and address each other directly" for them to eventually stop) and never really. about me?

like this sounds self-centered (probably because it is) but like most of the time i ask how they're doing and they'll usually talk about what's been going on with them, which is good. but i will almost never (depending on some friends LITERALLY never) get one in return? it usually only happens when i outwardly express my general displeasure. my friends usually only talk to me if they want something or they want to talk about their work/characters. it's. disheartening.

I know i should just be grateful that they even want to be my friend at all but like you could get the same responses from a magic 8 ball. and its not like i have anything to contribute other than praise, since im just completely uncreative. i have to throw fits in order to get attention. do you know how embarrassing that is for me? but i'm half rate anyways so its fine. 1: my dog!

he might be annoying at times but at the end of the day I fucking love him and if anything bad happens to him I'm going to kill a bitch. though it would be nice if he didn't jump on me all the time since he's fucking big (he's still a puppy tho so I cut him a lot of slack) (also he's a german shepherd if you're curious)

2: art

whether it's viewing it or creating it art has always made me happy. I've been drawing since middle school and while I do have creative dry spells I haven't really stopped creating and picking up random mediums (just pencil, just pens, pixel art, sewing, kandi making, painting the list goes on and will continue to go on)

3: music

I would go insane if music didn't exist. It's always been a big part of my life whether it's my dad blasting music while cleaning the house or me listening to music while walking down to a corner store to get an arizona. Music also helps give me ideas! like I have a few fic ideas written down that were inspired by songs.

4: watching and talking about media I like

I'll take this moment to apologize to my irl friends who have witnessed me info dump over discord vcs at like 1 am without planning what I'm saying so it's all one big cluster fuck of words. I fucking love to ramble on and on about shit that I like ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA I CONSUME!!!! I've always been a nerd for details, theories, and over all over analyzing. not always but most of the time if given the chance to talk about something I like I become like one of those door to door missionaries.
