My Fair Lady: Early Romantic Era Hairstyles Part Two

Alright folks, here I have 6 new hairstyles for you that are made for the early romantic/regency era. The earliest you could use these would probably be the mid-1800s, the latest is about 1823 before those knots start getting bigger but this is the Sims so do what you please

Here are some angles from the back and up close, yes I regret making everyone's hair dark, we're going to pretend they aren't the Hungarian noblewomen sims I used too

Some of these are a little high poly, fair warning (13k-16k). I've basically just edited my last romantic hairs, I have used a few different buns though, and different ringlets. The new ringlets are by kotehok but I've clayified them, and then the new bun pieces are from @simstrouble and @simandy. Everything else was either ripped from s4s or I've ripped off of hairs from @the-melancholy-maiden and @buzzardly28

These don't have a fancy thumbnail on them, just my thumbnail with my username and they're found toward the bottom.

Very Late Simblr Gratitude Day

I was barely active this past Gratitude Day because of an evil stomach bug and my wisdom teeth extraction, so my apologies to my beloved mutuals and everyone who took some time to give me a heads up that day. I'll be answering you little by little, but I wanted to make this post first.

I felt welcome since day one and honestly? That was super overwhelming (I'm shyyy) because I didn't know how to react to that level of kindness, but little by little I started to open up. The way people support each other made me think "yeah, I want to do that too!" and make people feel as comfortable as the community did with me. I see it as a little, unconscious positivity chain that I value very much.

I cannot stress enough how happy I am in this chaotic simblr community, mainly because it does work and feels like a real one. Not even in my personal social media I've seen these levels of interaction, support and fun between people. Sure, there are ups and downs, but all and all I still think this is my happy place and it's all because of you: The talent, creativity, chaos, fun, humor and cooperation is incomparable to me. That's why I don't leave.

I know I haven't been very active this past year and a half, but I hope that'll change soon. Since it's also Christmas Eve in this side of the globe, I wish you all have some nice and peaceful holidays.

After waiting for Ted to leave for work and entrusting the children to the butler, Meredith Roswell retires in her dressing room. Today she needs an outfit for a special occasion! A simple dress, comfortable shoes without heels — there is a long way ahead, which the woman will have to overcome on foot. As a final touch before leaving the house, Meredith wipes red lipstick off her lips and ties a modest scarf on her head. She looks plain and old in this, but now it's just to her advantage.

Not wanting to put herself at further risk, the mayor's wife leaves the Roswell mansion through the back door. Meredith is heading for the crater, and the last thing she wants is to be seen by any of the residents of Shady Acres. Circe and Loki Beaker are on dangerously close terms with her husband, and Jenny… Oh, let's not talk about Jenny! Poor Jenny always been... quirky, but in the last year, she's been really obsessed with Sixam. Just like Ted. Through the tears that welled up in her eyes, Meredith sees the outlines of huge satellite dishes.

That thing in the basement… It took Meredith's husband from her, it's about to take her children, and day after day it continues to destroy Meredith's own personality. Insomnia, a terrible noise in her head, unhealthy fun for no reason and a callous indifference to everything that once seemed valuable. Enough! If Meredith doesn't end it today, ƗŦ will end her tomorrow. Сlenching her teeth and fists, the woman pulls the keycard she stole from her husband and opens the door to the ██████ Lab's basement.

The Crew™ is ready for a spooky party at the Cluedo mansion!

Made it there early for some photoshoots and came back later in costume. Judy and Niall are two different kinds of demon, Emma dressed as a gorgon, Laura is a unicorn princess and Franklin went for the post-apocalyptic look.

Introduction

Hello everyone! You can call me Bella!

After playing around with TS4 for a year or so (inspired to download it by my beloved friend @goldoradove and her highly entertaining storytelling) I have finally started to get the hang of it and with the new year I decided I wanted to try my hand at some storytelling because, well, for one I love the ideas behind various challenges and second I want to actually finish those challenges so this gives me a reason to be committed and accountable.

Currently, I'm going to be working my way through the Not So Berry Challenge, mixing and matching it with the updated version as well as some of my own takes on it for the sake of storytelling.

It might take me a hot minute to get everything up and running since I have other life, writing, and gaming commitments but I’ll hopefully be able to start posting soon. Forgive me if I’m a bit rusty at this!

Thank you for the tag @windslar!! Our favourite blonde is going to be in the eye of the hurricane for the next days, so let's get to get to know Lottie a bit better :D

1. What uncommon/common fear do they have?

She's afraid of thunderstorms! And also, death. She lost her mom at a very young age, so an early demise is something Lottie feels uneasy about.

2. Do they have any pet peeves?

People who talk too much about themselves. Ironic, huh?

3. What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?

Expensive perfume bottles, at least one bouquet of fresh flowers and a manicure set.

4. What do they notice first in a person?

Their general hygiene. Lottie won't judge you about your clothing and style (maybe a little), but uneccesary messiness? Bad smells? Dirty teeth? Ew, no thanks.

5. On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?

Oh no, a complete 0. She'll cry rivers for the smallest, non-visible scratch anytime. She's a terrible patient whenever she's really hurt or sick.

6. Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?

Lottie will choose violence whenever she feels the lightest pressure on her glamourous and delicate self, thank you very much.

7. Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?

No and yes! Her family has been always her and her dad since she was a toddler, and she always grew apart from other relatives or acquaitances. On the other hand, being close to Tiana made Lottie become included by the whole White bunch in their chaotic family antics, what shaped her into a a very familiar person. That's one of the main reasons she would love to have a big family of her own!

8. What animal represents them best?

A very much spoiled angora cat, of course.

9. What is a smell that they dislike?

Artificial strawberry, specially on cosmetics.

10. Have they broken any bones?

Nope! And let's hope things stay that way!

11. How would a stranger likely describe them?

It would depend on her mood, since she can be your best friend or ignore you completely if she feels like it. In general, people often say she's elegant, well-educated, pretentious and too loud.

12. Are they a night owl or a morning bird?

Her? A night owl? She won't interrupt her beauty sleep even if her life depends on it. Lottie prefers to wake up early and get things done with a freshly rested face.

13. What is a flavor they hate and a flavor they love?

Hate: coconut / Love: vanilla!

14. Do they have any hobbies?

I don't know if it counts as a hobby, but wellness is her main thing. From doing yoga and meditating to research crystal properties, Lottie is very passionate about it!

15. Boom, surprise birthday party!How do they react to surprises?

Oh, she LOVES surprises! Only if they reach her standards, what's a bit troublesome. But anything that makes her feel like the main character is a yes, thank you.

16. Do they like to wear jewelry?

It's not a preference, it's a sport. And she's the national champion.

17. Do they have neat or messy handwriting?

Of course it's neat! She wouldn't dare to leave elegant handwritten and scented notes to people with an horrendous one. Fun fact: she even took calligraphy classes to improve her style at some point.

18. What are two emotions they feel the most?

Flirty (of course) and confident (of course x2).

19. Do they have a favorite fabric?

Silk! So fresh, smooth and flattering. And expensive, as usual.

20. What kind of accent do they have?

US English, rich girl edition.

The new relationship status had a positive effect on Mark and Alice — now these two are sleeping in the same bed again and willingly show mutual tenderness. They also learn to hear each other, compromise and find common ground.

Long conversations about art made Mark fall in love with painting, and now this guy never leaves Alice's easel, selflessly painting abstract and primitivist canvases. Alice, in turn, has become a little more loyal to partying and new acquaintances. After a mud bath, the girl feels confident and ready to come out of her shell full of bizarre pictures, books and music.

Everything seems to be going pretty well… But one disturbing thought does not want to leave Alice's head. When she had visited the Roswells' house, she had noticed a hidden longing in Meredith's eyes. Maybe it's worth trying to communicate with her? Alice believes that women should stick together and support each other. Especially in a local apocalypse.
