I lean more toward mutuals, and I'd like to only interact with people 18+ since many of the muses on this blog are going to be from an 18+ show. I defintely welcome cross-overs though.

To make my roleplays more accessible. You don't need to if you don't want to, but I'm happy to show you how if you do!

Are you a proshipper?

This term means different things to different people, so I find it hard to give a yes or no answer. I hope this post helps.

1. Don’t attack people for liking what they like.

I’m so tired of going online and being bombarded by posts talking about how I can’t enjoy or be into something because it’s problematic in some manner or the creator is problematic. Chances are a good that the person absorbing the media is well aware of the content or creators issues.

But no piece of media is ever going to be completely morally pure or fulfill everything. And raising awareness is important but attacking people or making them feel bad isn’t the answer. It messes with people when they have to constantly see it. It is exhausting to be constantly criticizing the things you love or see people constantly criticizing it.

You can like something that has issues and be aware of those issues. It doesn’t make you a bad person.

2. Don’t attack people for liking what they like part 2

This is the same as the first opinion but I wanna talk about something else. And it’s not really so much of an unpopular opinion as just me complaining about something.

Leave people alone, if they like something you consider cringy leave them the fuck alone. Even if you think it’s just light hearted teasing between you and your friends, leave them alone and let them like it. I used to go along with my friends making fun of the stuff I liked because I didn’t want to stir up shit and years later that’s still messing with me. It’s not healthy.

3. Joking about your mental illness is pretty normal

I’m aware this isn’t an unpopular opinion on here but I’m talking about how it’s unpopular with people in older generations. It’s how some people cope with their issues to make them feel less daunting to deal with. The way people overreact to those jokes can be really fucking demeaning. I have so many stories about my friends making a joke and a teacher yelling at them or them getting in trouble for joking about their mental illness. Leave teenagers alone man, let them make their jokes and cope.

If you keep using my toothbrush, even though I’ve bought you SEVERAL, you��re sleeping outside. This is just the beginning of the point of this letter though, so below is a list I’ve compiled of things that are NOT okay to do:

Stealing people’s toothbrushes

Pretending to be the shapeshifter come to take revenge to scare people (me)

Telling people in the supermarket intrusive and (mostly) fictitious information about our sex life

Asking random townspeople to buy you women’s lingerie

Moving the recliner twenty inches to the left so Stan misses it entirely when he flops back onto it

Convincing Dipper that reality is actually a very detail-oriented simulator and that acknowledging this mentally WILL get him deleted (the poor boy couldn’t sleep for WEEKS!!)

Inappropriate use of handcuffs

Building booby traps to catch ‘that one creepy sad guy’ (Toby Determined has enough to deal with without being ridiculed and caught up in nets.)

I’ve actually always wondered if fanfic writers (well ones who write more than one shots like me) ever have this issue. Now I know

I charge into long fics with a vague idea for the plot and find out what the fuck happens as I write, which is why most of my stuff gets over 100,000 words long when it was supposed to be, like either a oneshot or 30,000 at most. 

I don’t know what the hell I’m doing is what I’m saying.

Tag drama. Vague blogging. Assumptions without privately talking to a player.  I’m still bitter about when someone accused me as if I’d force shipping on them just because my Rules page said I was okay with a quite disliked/uncomfortable ship to some and how they just kept going on how terrible a person was for doing so.  I haven’t had many indies, but even I felt like deleting if these ignorant people existed. I, and no one else, should have to make the ships they’re alright with a vague game, nor do I ever go away from canon or an AU instance that would force a ship to occur until someone told me we’re greenlit in chat/ask.
