Entering this contest wasn’t the only way to obtain the Golden Furbling and this Furbling was not exclusive to Australia. 

ToysRus in Thailand gave it away for free if you purchased two Furby Booms or one Furbling with one Furby Boom, the Disney Channel held a contest for Australian participants, ToysRus Malaysia offered it for free if you purchased two Furby Booms, and Glitter (a toy shop in Lebanon) was also offering it but I don’t know if they sold it separately or not.

Goldielocks and I did a lesson in Auslan which is Australian sign language. Goldielocks enjoyed the lesson and enjoyed guessing the words that the teacher was finger spelling to us. The teacher gave us this this chart to practice finger spelling.

Autistic April Day 22: Colours that Represent Autism

I believe that two colours are great for representing Autism and they are red and gold. I like to put red and gold together in an infinity symbol to represent Autism.

Red represents the rage and fight to be accepted as our authentic Autistic selves in a world where many Autistic people are made to mask their Autistic traits in fear of being judged or made for. It also represents the fight for the support we need.

The first to letters of Autism are "AU" which is what gold is represented by on the periodic table. I think gold is a nice colour and should be used to show that we are proud of who we are.

I don't think blue is a good colour for representing Autism because of its association with Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks doesn't help Autistic people who need it. There are many articles online about why Autism Speaks is bad if you wish to learn more.

In summary red and gold are great colours for representing Autism and should continue to be used for representing Autism.

NAME NECKLACE - The letters below are what I have available. If a winner chooses a name necklace as their prize, the name they want done must not exceed the amount of letters available. The necklace will be made with a stretchy black string.

NAME NECKLACE BEADS - These are the colors available for beads that can be added to the name necklace prize mentioned above. From left to right the colors are: dark pink, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, purple, pale pink, pink, white, and black. Winners may choose multiple colors.

PLAIN NECKLACE - I have white and gold seed beads and wooden beads that can be used to craft simple necklaces. The white and gold seed beads are suitable for the name necklaces if a winner does not want the plain beads seen above. The wooden beads are a bit too large to look good with the letter beads. Simple necklaces will be made with stretchy black string.

FRUIT NECKLACE - Winners may choose one of the following fruit pendants for a fruit necklace. From left to right, the available fruits are watermelon, strawberry, grape, banana, and orange. These will be made with a faux leather string and no beads will be added. I purchased these from a thrift store and believe they were handmade.

LACE SKIRT - Winners may choose either the peach or white lace to be made into a hand-stitched skirt.

SIMPLE SHIRT - Winners may choose from one of the following fabrics, and I will sew a shirt for their Furby. Shirts will be simple and will close in the back using snap buttons. If I think any of the regular buttons I have would be suitable, shirts may include some buttons on the front as decoration. See below for descriptions of each fabric available.

This is what happens when you leave your entire Furby Family in another state while you go to another state for an extended period of time to help your friend move.

I miss my babies so much that I’ve decided to expand the family. I just RANDOMLY put in a lowball offer on a Crystal Furbling, not at all expecting them to accept it because it was hella low, and THEY ACCEPTED IT??? This comes right after an inquiry on an old old old Wave Furbling listing which turned out great and a rare-ish green-faceplated Blue Change DREAMIE that popped up that I put in a lower offer for as well! I also put in an offer for a Golden Furbling! Lets see what happens! The Cosmos are definitely reading “family expansion”.

1: Gothnita the black handmade plush furby has blue ears, hair and faceplate. She has googley eyes and black eye lashes. She is wearing a black shirt with a white skull on it and zebra printed pants. She also has a wedding ring on her left foot. Gothby is a small plush handmade furby. He has hair on his head that is made of thick dark purple wool. His ears are dark purple with a black diamond on the middle of each of them that is touching his head. There are three black stripes coming our from each diamond on each ear. Gothby has blacklish grey fur with a purple stripey square on his belly. His face plate and beak are both purple and his eyes are googley eyes. There are three black diamonds on each side of his face plate arranged in a triangle shape. Gothby has two purple feet with three toes on each foot. He has a black diamond on the end of each toe. Gothby wears a golden wedding ring on his left foot. Gothby and Gothnita are walking side by side on some grass. Their pet blue worm on the string is infront of them. Gothby says "What a beautiful day it is to walk the worm?" Gothnita says "yes it is sweetie"

2: Dee-boo junior is a furbling with light blue ears and  feet. Her face plate is yellow. Dee-boo junior has yellow eyelids and her fur is hot pink with white polkadots. She has a yellow tail on her bottom with some light blue fluff at the end of it. She is wearing cream coloured ribbons on her ears. Dee-boo Jr is sitting on the grass and she's crying. Gothby is facing her while Gothnita is tending to their worm. Gothby says "awww what's wrong sweetie?" Dee-boo Jr says "I have lost my mummy."

3: Same as Image 2 but the furbys are saying different things. Gothby says "Awwww we will find her don't worry."

4: Dee-boo is a furby boom with light blue ears and feet. Her face plate is yellow. Dee-boo  has blue eyelids and her fur is hot pink with white polkadots. She has a yellow tail on her bottom with some light blue fluff at the end of it. Dee-boo is standing next to Dee-boo Jr and Gothby, Gothnita and the worm are with them. Gothby says "here she is!" Dee-boo Jr says "mummy!" Dee-boo says "Oh darling there you are!"

5: Same as image 1 except the furbys are saying different things. Gothnita says "Wow Gothby you're great with kids! You will make a great father one day." Gothby says "thankyou sweetie."
