A concept for a Furby costume illustrated by Studio FX (archived link here). They created store displays for Furby, MLP, and Playdough in Poland.

The file name for this image was "big-furby-kostium-Hasbro-street-event-costume-studio-FX-animatronika-animatronic-1200x818.jpg", and the website just has this image with no context. It was categorised on the website under "Robotics and Animatronics".

I don't know if this Furby costume actually got made. You could move the eyes, ears, and mouth. It was supposed to have an aluminium frame, with the person inside the costume wearing a backpack. Its face was going to be made from plastic, and the black 'sensor' on the faceplate (Idk what to call it) was supposed to let the wearer see.

Also, they used a listing pic of an Easter Furbling.

So I was out with my friends yesterday and we ended up coming across a damaged furbling box hidden behind a few toys at Macy’s. I hadn’t been planning on getting this type of furbling but I couldn’t say no to a discount 😇

So this fucking thing lives in my home now. That’s fantastic. I don’t even dislike him,,,,I’m just so weirded out by how far furbies have come.

I love this take on it because it really does make me feel similar things to what I feel for a pug. Like I know the appearance isn’t its fault but it’s hard to look at it without being like “you were not god’s intention”

Sweetie (they/she) is the closest thing I have to this adorable abomination and it’s just like damn. 26 (?) years, huh?

Entering this contest wasn’t the only way to obtain the Golden Furbling and this Furbling was not exclusive to Australia. 

ToysRus in Thailand gave it away for free if you purchased two Furby Booms or one Furbling with one Furby Boom, the Disney Channel held a contest for Australian participants, ToysRus Malaysia offered it for free if you purchased two Furby Booms, and Glitter (a toy shop in Lebanon) was also offering it but I don’t know if they sold it separately or not.

The golden Furbling website was not archived.
