i was wondering why kenjaku knew that gojo would freeze when he saw geto's body in shibuya. like it makes sense to us as viewers since we know gojo and geto were best friends. but then i remembered kenjaku gets the memories of the body he takes over, right? so he had geto's memories of being gojo's best friend. he used gojo's weakness (love).

the problem with jjk *is* gojo imo, he was such a titanic presence that rather than being a story with a mentor who had completed his arc, the story has to bend around him at every moment until it reaches a reasonable point to kill him. and then its a surprising fast roll to the finish line

gojo is such a fun character to me. nobody likes him but they've fucked themselves into having to deal with the most annoying amoral 28 year old ever by building a society that obsessively cares about curating the strongest and that being him. and they know he hates them and so they're stuck playing administrative mind games with him and trying to kill his students because they don't know if he can die and if he did they'd all be screwed! because they made him the load-bearing part of their entire society's safety!!
