how im imagining ᵐʸ drifter's relationships with the hex. obvy subject to change once the expansion drops and we get to know them better
arthur: you know the sibling thing where you go open your sibling's door and talk to them about stupid shit and then flip them off or something and walk away without closing the door. she does that when he's in the security office. beyond that i don't think they have much of a personal relationship. years of fighting solo in duviri means she struggles with having a commander so she probably gives him heartburn when she fucks off to do her own thing in the field
aoi: they should be at the club. specifically drifter should be at the club learning how to stop fumbling women. aoi gets them shots because drifter says she doesnt get drunk. sadly drifter has only been drinking weird duviri beer as imagined by a teenager for most of her life so the first time she gets drunk off tequila and fireball and shit she freaks out and thinks shes actually dying and turns invisible in the bathroom. aoi drags her back out to dance and then they have a homoerotic midnight atomicycle ride back to base
lettie: seething because learning vazarin healing backfired and now her stupid void body won't let her manufacture "accidental" injuries. she can't even get a paper cut and ask lettie to kiss it better because she heals too fast. drifter is down horrendous for lettie but between immunity to mild injuries and a fear of rodents its just a disaster. meanwhile lettie likes drifter more than any of the rest of the team because at least drifter's dumbass attempts to play hero on missions don't require intensive care afterwards like arthur's "Tank Incident"
amir: listens and nods while amir explains the gameplay of caliber chicks 2 at 225 wpm for six minutes. tries playing with him but doesn't get the appeal so she just sits around while he plays and offers unhelpful and irrelevant advice whenever he dies. like "you should try parrying" when he loses tetris or "do a bullet jump" in a racing game. she also steals his energy drinks, which is probably good for amir but definitely bad for everyone else who has to deal with hopped-up drifter
quincy: drifter works best with him in the field out of all the hex members. he says it's because she's really good at being annoying and distracting and getting in the enemy's face with a shotgun so he can line up his shots. she says this is true, and thank you very much quincy thats sweet of you. drifter loves to be annoying and quincy is the only one smart enough to weaponize that. drifter is also permanently banned from shooting contests with quincy after she blew a hole in the wall with a plasma shotgun instead of using a normal gun for target practice
eleanor: oscillates between wanting to help eleanor and getting annoyed with her cryptic bullshit. also oscillates between thinking the mind control/telepathy thing is completely terrifying and thinking its awesome (and kind of hot). absolutely cannot stop asking eleanor weird questions and will keep it up until she gets the psychic equivalent of a sucker punch and her nose starts bleeding (which heals before she can get to lettie). sometimes she tells eleanor stories about the lotus.

Questions for both operatoe and drifter Luncan.
Drifter!Luncan: Given he's with Bombastine, what is his opinion on Luscinia? Does he listen to the poison (badum tss) fed to him by Bombastine, or does he have some other opinion of her?
Operator!Luncan: What was his time in the Zariman like then vs now? Does he have any opinions on Tales of Duviri? What does he think of the Holdfasts?
For Lucan:
He knows well enough not to listen to what Bombastine has to say about other people, he knows exactly what the man represents. It is a bit draining for him to mindlessly agree even when he doesn't believe in it himself. Lucan does a lot just to avoid any unneeded arguments that are easily started with Bombastine.
Infact he kinda gets what Luscinia feels, as deep under his uncaring outer shell, he's quite depressed himself, more than happy to allow Lodun to beat on him as a form of self punishment for just existing.
For Luc:
During the school years he was a very fun kid, full of love and always wanting to be the class clown, enjoying making the other students laugh or just to brighten up their days. He had a loving family before the jump, friends he loved to hang out with. Luc was, and still is, the kind of kid that will talk to anyone, trying his hardest to befriend them.
After the jump he stayed mostly the same, at least on the outside. The events of the gave have definitely caused trauma, but Luc hides it underneath his friendly, happy-go-lucky outside. He wants to be seen as the strong one, who others can always turn to if they need help, while not giving himself the same treatment.
Luc really isn't the smartest boy, but his heart is big and secretly hurting. He's known to put himself in danger to try and use compassion to overcome issues with enemies, sometimes putting himself at major risk of being taken advantage of or betrayed / killed. (Like he's out here hugging the bone-marrow walls to try and appease Wally, which is probably Not going to work. )
-
Luc enjoys the storybook, I'd say he's totally a 'dragons are SO cool' kind of kid. He also likes the Holdfasts a lot, at least most of them. He sees them as a positive parental style of adult (which is really easy for someone to become for him, just show him care and he likes you very quickly). Though with Cavalero, Luc has a bit of a tougher time, feeling more like he could get scolded by Cav but respects him non-the-less.
Out of everyone he likes Yonta the most, which reminds him of his own mother before the events of the warp jump.

Taking Flight, Chapter 43: Westward
Given all the cowboy hijinks, mercenary madness, and godless abominations from the depths of the earth, it was easy to lose track of what's been going on at home. It's Cascade Season, and a Cat 5 Portal Storm did just recently pass over the Mushroom Kingdom. Thankfully, Kermit is back with the latest MKBC broadcast over the radio.
Kermit: Good morning, Mushroom Kingdom. Kermit D. Frog here. Today's forecast will be sunny with scattered rainshowers later this afternoon.
Bob can be seen exiting that Duviri Mob Farm Steve had built a few days ago, with the portal inside still active. He and Pomni were just headed to the bazaar to restock their stands.
Bob: Now where was I?
Pomni: Something to do with test tubes, I think.
Bob: Oh yeah! That's where we found Damien. You probably saw him check in at the Guest House last night. I also found this.
He pulls out a small blue glass bottle with a gold trim and places it on his stand. A face can be seen within the shimmering glass.
Glassmaker: Please get me away from this buffoon!
Bob: It makes a good paperweight.
Pomni: ......... Right. Um, you said that Damien was found in a test tube, right? What exactly were they "testing" about him?
Bob: Hell if I know. I'm not really the sciency type. That's more of an SMG thing. Anyways, what have you guys been doing?
Pomni: Not much. We just took a little "urban exploration" trip to this old abandoned house a few miles out. Caine thought it would be worth a look.
Bob: That........ doesn't really help narrow it down.
Pomni: It was the big mansion to the north of the woods. Lot's of bitey crows swooping around. Most of the doors are crossed out with big yellow X's.
Bob: Hm.......... big manor........ huge murder of crows........... yellow X's.
Uzi: I think she's talking about the old Elliott Manor.
The two swiftly turned to Uzi, completely unaware that she was listening to their conversation.
Uzi: I've heard of that place.
Pomni: Um....... how long have you been standing there?
Back in the Guest House, Damien is silently laying in his room. He hasn't left since he arrived last night, and he's gotten little sleep in the meantime. He's just been laying there staring at the ceiling. His mind going back to the moment they first arrived at that cave. The Heavy was excited to test out his new Brass Beast, the Pyro was showing off this new spinning fire trick, and the Demoman had just woken up from a record breaking binge. The Spy was somewhat bemused as he took a puff from his cigarette while the Engineer fiddled with his PDA. Marston makes the call and directs everybody inside.
B. Spy: These buffoons will be the end of me, one day.
B. Engineer: Doh, cheer up, Frenchie. What's the harm in getting in a little fun before we get to work? It helps build a little confidence.
B. Spy: Best watch your words, amigo. Too much of a good thing is the biggest difference between being a hero and being a memory.
Those words have a much sharper sting, now. They were all so confident that this would be just another job. A knock on the door snaps him back to reality. He cracks the door open and sees a small pallid face staring out of a red hood.
Gangle: Mr. Winters, is it?
Damien: Yeah?
Gangle: We were just wondering if you'd like to join us for breakfast.
Downstairs, the other carnies wait in the lounge as Jax works his magic in the kitchen. Zooble is the first to notice Gangle coming down the stairs with Damien in tow.
Zooble: Hey there, sunshine.
Jax: Alright. I got flapjacks, french toast, and waffles hot and ready on the countertop.
Zooble: Hallelujah. I'm starving.
Kinger: Oh, if you don't mind-
Jax: Let me guess. Scrambled?
Kinger: How do you always know that?
TLDR, He always asks for that. Damien takes a paper plate with a single pair of waffles. No syrup, no butter, nothing. He then takes a seat at the far corner of the lounge away from everybody else. Ragatha is the only one to really attempt to start a conversation.
Ragatha: So......... you enjoying your stay?
Damien: Oh. Um, yeah. Sorry. I just had a hard time waking up. Yesterday was um........ quite the doozy, I tell ya.
That's certainly one way to put it. He puts on a forced smile, doing his best to look at least SOMEWHAT alive and well. That's when Saturday comes in.
Jax: Why hello, your Sweetness. Would you care for some crumpets with a spot of tea?
Saturday doesn't even bother gracing him with a response. She turns to Ragatha and nods to get a move on.
Ragatha: Well, if you need anything just give us a holler.
The two take their leave, making sure to close the door behind them before speaking.
Saturday: I just got a call from Shiro. He spotted some activity a few miles west of here.
Ragatha: Hm. You think another Abstraction breached the perimeter.
Saturday: Unknown, but not improbable. Still, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Ragatha: Alright. I'll notify Aybel and we'll get a move on.
Inside the Castle, Tari sits atop a floating barrier in the middle of the main hall. She closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, clears her mind of all distractions, and when she opens her eyes...... she is elsewhere. It's nigh pitch black, and dead silent apart from the creaking of old wood. Clench, once again appearing as a ball of light beside her, is the only source of light in this cold dark place. She makes her way forward, passing by the various shelves and cabinets linings the walls. Some hold rows of books. Others contained jars filled with God knows what.
Tari: Quite the collection they have here.
Clench: A lot of books, too. I wonder if they have The Hunger Games. OH, maybe they have Saphique! I've been meaning to -HEUGH GOD.
The stench of rot stops them in their tracks. A single capsule lies before them. Seeping from between the lines of the hatch was a thick oily purulence. The smell of death was unmistakable. A pit grew within her stomach as she inched closer to the capsule. That's when she heard it. A heartbeat. Not of her own, but of whatever is inside that capsule, getting faster and harder as she inched closer and closer until she's close enough to peer through the glass and into the black purulence within. At first, she saw nothing. Then a faint yellow glow began to shine through........ before something erupts from the glass and reaches for her face. She let's out a blood curdling shriek and falls back, finding herself lying on the floor of the Castle. Her heart is racing as she takes deep breaths, clasping at her chest. Saiko comes rushing in from the Gaming Room and straight to her side.
Saiko: Tari! Are you okay!?
Tari takes a moment to catch her breath and get her bearings.
Tari: Yeah........ I'm okay......
Saiko: What happened? You look like you saw a ghost.
Tari: I...... I was meditating. I tried going to my happy place but ended up...... somewhere else..........
She gets back up to her feet and heads out the front door. Saiko rushes out to see her facing west.
Saiko: Tari........ what's going on with you?
Tari scans the skyline, zeroing in on a flock of birds circling a spot in the woods.
Tari: That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Her wings unfold and she flies off west, with Saiko frantically giving chase.

Why? No! No! Valeria!
I've seen people speculating about who is her before, how she must have been a fellow Dax soldier to Teshin, who lost her life protecting the Orokin against the Tenno, or, perhaps one of the Golden Lords themselves, massacred, with him being able only to watch.
However, I don't think she would have been any of those things, in fact I don't think she died during the fights at all.
I came up with this theory while rewatching the Duviri Paradox trailer and especially from the comment made during the Devstream, that Teshin will be an important character to the Duviri plot.
So, I'm gonna start at the end, saying it now, evidence under the picture, that this lady IS Valeria herself, or at least the person who is meant to represent her in Duviri.
Tumblr media
And I hear you saying: "You lost your mind!"
And all I have to say to this is "I've been non-stop thinking about a character that was name-dropped once, and was relevant for 10 full seconds with literally 0 information on her other that her name, FOR 2 WEEKS, OF COURSE I LOST MY FUCKING MIND. "
Now, having that covered, the promised evidence:
The Yuvan Theatre
The first time we hear about the Yuvan theater is during the War Within quest. Teshin describes it like this:
"A Yuvan theater, long abandoned. In ages past, I would have stood guard as the young and exotic were paraded through the mountain pass and marched by the viewing pane. They'd barter here, the Orokin. Withering and coughing as they prepared for their Continuity."
Part of the ceremony was described by Ordis like this:
"A harpish voice sings a song they've prepared in my honor. Its title the same as mine: 'Beast of the Bones'. I feel the crowd pulled inward, enraptured by the brutal verses, the sickening chorus."
Teshin, as a guard of the Golden Lords, would have had every chance to meet, talk, and have a close relationship with one of the singers of the theater, especially considering his own interests.
He gives us advice about our choices in a poem, one that he starts quoting even under the veil, he talks in riddles and verses, he believes having your mind be as sharp as your blade is a must, it's not at all out of character for him to be fascinated by this part of the Orokin's culture, and to seek out someone who can tell him all about it.
Faces of Duviri
Duviri is full of new, and old, faces, however only a few of those were important enough to appear in the trailers. Dominus Thrax, Bombastine, Teshin, and the singer who entertains Dominus.
In Duviri Dominus clearly meant to represent the Orokin, ruling above all, while everyone else is hoping for him to look at them favorably, and don't make their lives miserable. I believe Duviri is a world meant to torment those who entered it, most obviously by ridding the world of color.
The Drifter also has to parade around as the person, who he despises the most - Dominus - and Teshin? Well, he has to listen to the singing from far away.
(Interesting how the only 2 "places" that naturally have color in Duviri are Teshin's cave, and around the opera singer.)
(Even more interesting, is that if you go close to the Lone Guardian in a Conjunction Survival mission, you can hear her singing.)
The young and exotic
Another interesting thing in Duviri is how the citizens are the ones who look like the Orokin. Blue skin, one arm longer than the other, clothes inspired by Ancient Greece...
If Valeria looked like the singer in Duviri, then she must have been a perfect candidate for Continuity, wouldn't she?
And when the Veil started working on Teshin, the first thing it reminded him of were the lines of the Litany of the Dax that tell you to be patient, and do nothing, and just see how things turn out.
The Veil
A strange thing about the Veil is that it doesn't make you focus on a bad memory, but it very specifically turns memories "inside out".
When the Drifter got theirs the Veil would have had a much easier time reminding us of all those time when the Lotus abandoned us, when Margulis lied to us, but no, it instead started rewriting our memories of Margulis, to fit better with Ballas' fairy tale.
This tells me that memories seen by the Veil are fake, even if they are based on truth. However, Teshin was fighting against the influence of it, so there's a good chance that what he says is based on truth.
But... what does he say exactly?
Why? No! No! Valeria!
Why? Why would he ask "why" like that when the Tenno are killing the Dax and the Orokin around him left and right. There isn't really a question there, and even if there was, wouldn't that be angry? That "why" just sound... I don't know... not one said in the middle of the battlefield, but when something catches you completely off guard.
The whole thing sounds more like "I refuse to believe what you just said to me" rather than "how dare you kill her / oh no, she's dead".
"I-I can... see her... Tenno... why???"
Now, this is where things turn VERY good. Can you HEAR the amount of focus put on the word SEE?
This line to me obviously was said when the Tenno killed the Orokin, that used Valeria's body as their own. But something was out of place, which is that Teshin associates her with VOICE, the opera singer who he listened to for years while on duty, and he knows when "she" dies that he only SEES her at that moment.
He is confused at that memory, he was confused when it happened, knowing that Valeria was dead, yet seeing her die again, in the hands of the Tenno. And that's what the Veil can use, turning him against us. However, just like how the Drifter could tear down their mask, because of the absurdity of what they were hearing, that Ballas was the one who loved and saved them, well, Teshin too knew and felt how absurd all of it was, the anger and broken trust in the Orokin, hearing the voice of the one who gave Valeria the Kuva clashing with false memories.
And so he broke free, just to then fall into the Duviri, where a familiar tune started playing in that very moment.

Sorry for sliding in most of them, but!
1, 6, 9, 11, 15?
@runningwolf62 cuz this answers some of yours too :3 this is under a cut cuz it looooong~
1: What is their pre-bullshit backstory?
Olexei was a doctor on a space colony before he became a Harrow Prime. Family run clinic, his parents were both medical professionals before him.
Kitsune and Rien were once a little girl called Erin, who had an obsession with space and a decent knowledge of anything to do with it, and a love of animals. (Rien notably changed her name to still reflect her original name, but at the same time to spite the Orokin.)
She was good friends with Rell, often spending a good amount of time talking about space flight with him and listening to him talk about the complicated mathematical principles related to it… Up until the Incident on the Zariman Ten-Zero. Both of them became protectors in different ways of the other kids on the ship.
6: What is their personality like? Are they different around strangers? How?
Rien’s pretty mistrustful of strangers, and doesn’t tend to open up much, acting standoffish. She keeps the snark on 11 and probably gets herself in trouble.
When she’s gotten used to someone and trusts them, the softer side comes out. She fusses over people, she loves physical affection and will happily display such affection to others too. She’s got some insecurities that she tries to hide with arrogance, but even just the meaning of her name betrays those insecurities.
Kitsune is not what you’d call well-adjusted. Though she’s a sweet, caring person to those who know her, she’s a little unhinged and tends to intimidate strangers to try to get them to leave her alone - an unhealthy coping mechanism from the harsh reality of never knowing if a mission will be her last or someone else’s that she knows. There’s the additional factor of her void powers making her unstable too. (Umbra does his best to help with this by providing her the stability and patience of a parent.)
Most still find her quite unsettling because of how her void power manifests itself.
Olexei is pretty damn aggressive when he’s left alone with strangers - his first meeting with Rien, without the calming influence of his known Operator, was rather violent. Only the Drifter’s reflexes from multiple loops of Duviri saved her, honestly. He’s cold, standoffish, and refuses to speak or communicate with those he doesn’t know in any way, and doesn’t enjoy being pressed to do so - he lashes out, though thankfully not with his powers.
When he gets used to someone, though, and accepts them into his tiny circle of trusted people… A little of his human side shows through. He doesn’t exactly ease up much, but he does at least talk and share some snark. He enjoys bantering with Rien especially, and is protective of Kitsune. When he gets angry, he can be pretty cruel too - a cruelty that he gained during his captivity under the Orokin. He’s got a very visceral fear of Infested, and refuses to go aboard the derelicts after one very unpleasant encounter.
-
9: Do they keep in touch with past classmates? Friends? Other Tenno?
Rien doesn’t really know if any of her fellows have survived in Duviri, and has subsequently lost contact with most of them.
Kitsune stays in contact with quite a few Tenno, and has worked with (bullied) Darvo to set up a sort of bar and social venue on Larunda relay for Tenno to hang out. She's something of a relatively constant presence, and is always willing to help out.
-
11: Are they comfortable jumping out of their warframe and showing their own body to other? Why (not)?
Rien spends most of her time out of warframes, and has no particular worry about showing herself.
Kitsune won’t show herself except with people she trusts. (Which ends up being quite a few people eventually.) She doesn’t mind the Entrati, and is particularly comfortable around Son, owing to their mutual experiences of having freedoms removed from them.
-
15: Do they have anything that still ties them back to their days as human?
Olexei doesn’t have anything physical tying him to his past as a human - only the vague and inconsistent surfacing of his past medical knowledge and his memory of what got him turned into a warframe in the first place.

Thinking about this stuff again
After summoning Higgins goes from "emotionally fucked up situation" to "strategic combat thingy" the way things go with it is usually North summoning Higgins, dumping a fuckton of previously prepared thoughts on him that bascially translate to "I'm alone I'm scared I love you pls kill this thing for me thanks" and Higgins kinda just flies into autopilot mode bc "oh okay shit's fucked and we're listening to North now" and also later on bc "oh right this is duviri, i show up here for five seconds to do a murder," and then he disappears again
Ofc as both returning to duviri and doing this shit becomes more of a regular thing they talk about how to streamline the process but no amount of mental prep changes the fact that this is disorienting as Fuck for both of them every time
(And bc no matter how many return visits to duviri, sometimes it still sucks really bad and sometimes You Just Want Your Friend To Be There but clearly that's not something North is allowed to have. So they do their best to stop summoning Higgins for comfort. It's a waste! And not like five seconds achieves anything on that front anyway, right?)
Actually North figuring out how to summon Higgins in duviri for like six seconds at a time is really funny in that poor North is suffering reliving trauma and being separated from their ppl they've slowly been learning to rely on a bit, and then when summoned Higgins is just like "fuck yeah violence"

the wiki says Euleria met Vilcor after Albrecht had already disappeared BUT
Kermerros line about Loid carrying him on his back (so if Albrecht and human Loid both disappeared why would that happen).
Loid's story about Kalymos (he mentions the grandchildren were small and Albrecht was still around).
but here is Vilcor's line about meeting Euleria:
"When I met her, Mother, she was as brilliant as she was broken. Chasing her father's ghost, convinced he was still 'out there'. I thought... I thought I could fix things. I thought I could fix her. Like she was a loose light-board or leaky hydraulic.--"
(sniffles) it wouldn't make sense if that was when Albrecht fell into Duviri... because Mother's whole story is about going a little crazy looking for her father (the whole reason she mistreated and abused her family is because her own obsession drove her to paranoia)
ok listen
we'll just have to retcon and rewrite i guess
oh no im reading lore and the timeline is starting to get fuzzy oh no

LAST ONE I PROMISE (at least the last readmore’d one)
Raphael
we’re going back to duviri. see, dominus had set up an execution for several cycles and was always disappointed with the end result. he’d set up Lazarus. he’d get lodun to read off the fucking crimes. tell him the sentence. oh my god such a fucking hassle. and then get this, the guy thats supposed to kill him starts fucking sobbing and KILLS HIMSELF instead. bro come on
so rigel’s refusal to commit to this mariticide drags on longer than thrax really Finds Funny. its only laz’s insistence that he just give him what he wants. that he cant stand to watch him die again and again. thats when the Angel finally caves and uses the knife for its intended purpose.
and its there that the shy pushover dies. the guy that would listen to whatever anyone wanted him to do. that would follow any order so long as you were stronger than him. laz’s death is where his violence and cynicism is born.
so theres a fun little thing i came up with once eternalism dropped in TNW. throughout the entirety of these alternating universes, rigel has, statistically, not Done Very Well. in a majority of those, him and his sister were discovered as twins and put to death. other failures include; the sentient attack frying his warframes to the point of no repair, himself included. him never being woken from his second dream. being encased into Quasar as a second Holy Rell. etc etc
generally, across eternalism he doesn’t seem to be a very successful tenno. (ironic) across all these timelines, Seven have been able to achieve a similar level of power. some of them remaining young, others taking on his older form. but all of them remain under the thumb of the orokin.
for some Fucking Reason, our version of rigel was the only one to worm his way out from under everyone standing over him. the only one to get his dampeners removed and to work on living as his true self. the way Kentaurus founders intended. and thus, out of those Seven, he reigns as the most powerful.
the other six become aware of their own presences and gather together to seek out the final piece. the seventh Brother, if you will. in their eyes, fusing as one will provide all of them the power needed to “bring peace to the system” etc etc
but anyways rigel kind of said fuck that. youre not my fucking mother. and instead of them forming this like… coalition of archangels hellbent on stoic justice, he forces them to absorb into himself. like you know that funny update where baro fuses himself thanks to wally?
yeah
he assumes the mantle of their lives and timelines. memories, strengths, weaknesses, etc. and together they form Raphael, Father of the Void Angels.
“vik this is REALLY mary sue” yeah i know shut up it gets worse. so thrax finally wins. rigel kills lazarus and kinda just watches him lay there for a second. internally the meeting of the seven playing out in his head. and he assumes the form of Raphael. in the middle of the fucking city. beckons the roosting angels from the zariman and essentially rains Fucking Hell upon anything and everything thrax owns. it takes the entire group of orowyrms to shut him down and restart the cycle.
and once it does, hes back to stoicism again. dominus cant see his Angel in the same way ever again. so at the beginning of each cycle, he has rigel arrested by dax, his wings broken, and him thrown into one of the many royal mazes, left to carry dust for what is essentially years.
and rigel kinda accepts it? his numbness renews, still dreaming of the origin system and the memories of his seven lives playing in his head. its only when his durivi clips back into laz’s that hes brought back to reality.
etc etc duviri quest plays relatively as normal except the orowyrm fight is vs Raphael and not his frame. its when he gets back through the Wall that it gets weird.
hi we’re back in the zariman for the third time.
see. the void jump happens. little rigel is in class all “what the dink was that noise”. big rigel is dumped in some dormizone like “OH GOD MY HUSBAND IS DEEEEAD”. and raphael touches down in the middle of it all. amid the chaos and confusion. and with his song and violence, he makes the first void angels out of the crew.
so basically its all his fault. the corruption of the holdfasts. kira’s death and descend to madness. all Raphael. the plumes on the zariman? shed from his wings throughout the years in his roost. the ones he called in duviri? his own brood returning to the cry of their sire.
current Raphael cant actually… fly anymore. hes lost so many plumes during the zariman that he literally cant get enough lift, and hence why he collabs with yonta to help gather them all in exchange for goods and services for other tenno.
post new war, he uses his form of Raphael on ballas, and nearly rips him in fucking two. thankfully, he leaves the honor to Lotus, but trades that for keeping the sun from frying them all raw.
and in the wake of his sucking and fucking spree, his connection to Raphael only grows stronger. more esoteric. its after a very long thought process that he decides to return to the Red Veil, who has since devolved into splinter factions and cults in the absence of him and Rell.
this is still stuff i wanna write, but eventually he cracks down on the more fanatic and ruthless veil members and gathers up those still interested in being the sword to the Steel Meridian’s shield, ridding the system of evil with the same fire and violence used by the enemy. and while he keeps the fact that he’s tenno from the majority of the Veil a secret, the new ruling council he helps form with palladino and other merit based officials of course know about this.
yadda yadda edgelord shit whatever look at this FUCKING SICK loadout i gave him for his red veil garb
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
post more rigel lore... please... they're so cool
RI IS SOO SO SPECIAL TO ME!! this ask made me so excited when i saw it thank you anon!!!!!!!
rigel is vik @helmofhades ’s beautiful boy!! he’s his tenno oc and laz is his right hand arm man. his everything. his confidante. his silly rabbit. (does he call him that? no.)
for serious though rigel is so cool. he’s a void angel! he’s a one man army! he’s a slut! he’s an overwhelmed single dad! he chugs more kuva than the average kuva lich (he’s just self medicating, trust him on this)!! he’s even PURPLE!!!!!! he’s got it all!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
i’m gonna pass the mic over to vik so he can elaborate, because rigel has a lot going on and i knwo i won’t do him justice on my own. check that out in the notes soonish (and go follow him while you’re at it! wtf!!!)
