Hello~ you probably NEVER expected this out of me but I really wanted to respond to these tags!! I really love reading them~

I just went on and on with it...thinking about this subject was fun, in short though, you made me want to step out of my comfort zone. I'm so used to holding back and wrapping things up in a softer way (for more reasons than one) but one day maybe I can go "ape shit" with things (would ANYONE like seeing something like that though, with my artstyle??? can it actually look..;; that powerful? I wonder)

in regards to the original tag, I was thinking about what the character went through when he was really young. How he would have felt when he was ten or maybe younger than that even, when things first started happening... It's...probably something that will never be discussed in depth and I wonder if they should go there but... I thought about it a bit, jotted and sketched a little, but I came back out. Whatever I'd come up with wouldn't be canon anyway (all my works are but yeah) I felt like crying a little. It's horrible. Although what I feel would be nowhere near to what people would actually feel you know? It's rude to think I'd understand. I should really make a donation to a childcare foundation or something sometime~

Again, to you and for all... I'm grateful for you seeing my works :) I'm glad I can share them here, I do get shy and embarrassed but I don't feel so lonely when I have people who enjoy them. I actually never get used to posting even after all these years I've been drawing, at this rate, I feel like it'd be impossible for me to get full of myself...

although I do think it would be VERY funny if he got a story card and the groovy was just "regular Silver except with one beautiful single crystal tear". this is actually a lot coming from him.

Namely that we really should have ended the flashback when WWX fell.#And then gone back to present time for a bit - or even go to a different flashback.#The sense of time passing isn't as strong as it *could* be.#We get *told* three months pass and that they've been looking for WWX. But to the audience it's been...15 min.#Less than seven minutes if you count the flute playing.#This guy when through a whole aesthetic and persona shift in less time than it takes to walk through a corn field.#Guy who listened to less than half an emo album and dyed all his clothes black. And jorted all his jeans.#Timeskips can be sudden and work out just fine! No wonder Emmrich.exe stopped working when Rook asks if the tea in the memorial garden at the end of their outing was set up to impress them.

Death-man brought Rook to this place to try and help them sort through some of the feelings they need to confront in order to healthily mourn the death of someone who presumably meant a great deal to them.

The “light refreshment” was waiting at the end as a deliberate part of Emmrich’s care as a death professional. When I was in funerals we had coffee, tea, and freshly baked cookies waiting for every family that came in for arrangements, visitations, services, or after-care meetings: they’re comforting little gestures that people tend to really lean into during a difficult time.

So yeah. Given the circumstances and the reason for the outing to begin with, it would be a lot like someone showing up at the funeral home to make arrangements for their mum, looking at my spread of coffee and cookies and being like “Ooooh… are you hitting on me? 👀”

I would have had the exact same reaction Emmrich did lmao
