Quiz Meme; OC-style
I was tagged by @rozhevisny to take this quiz.
I also ended up doing a number of my OCs. They are under the cut for length.
I am tagging @awellboiledicicle @mikkeneko @changeling-fae @higheverweave @yusukesmomjeans @dalishious and @draxen1123 but don't feel pressured to do so if you don't wanna! It's all for fun.
(Inquisitors)
Paeriel Lavellan="You're choking on how much you have to try". Accurate by the time of Inquisition (specifically around Skyhold) as Paeriel very much embodies the virtue of suledin. She can handle the amount she's dealt with but it is still a burden and she worries about how it will affect others if she slips and drops under the weight. She doesn't want more harm to come to innocents and those who are already struggling under their own burdens (mages, dwarves, elves, even the templars to some degree), and yet it is a fight that continues on and on seeming without end. Just as Solas walks his path to break the systems oppressing people, she tries to work within those same systems to better chances for those who need it.
Armashok Adaar="You were meant to". Accurate prior to his joining the Inquisition. He spent so much of his life struggling to find his place as everyone told him what to be; silent, obediant, a weapon to be protected against. He chafed and struggled to find comfort in it and yet he ultimately realized that he was his own person. No one could tell him who and what he was or was meant to be, not even his wife. So he chose for himself; To be Armashok Adaar.
Ransley Trevelyn="This isn't enough for you" Also accurate for pre-Inquisition Ransley, as he balked against his family expectations. They wanted him to marry a nice noblewoman of status and wealth. He courted them but couldn't quite bite the bullet as something about them just lacked....something. Even when he met his lover, he struggled against the fact that they had to be discreet for her reputation as a Knight-Divine. His family demanded he become a Templar, he decided the Seekers would be a better use of his talents. Always when he was told something, his innate ambition would push him for more and better things. While he can give up things as needed, he dislikes it. That last part is something he struggles with-and notably fails during Trespasser-post-Inquisition. This is a trait that Josephine can understand, though like their lover Cassandra, she tempers it in herself and him with patience.
Naranka Cadash="Because you have made mistakes you cannot swallow" Pfft. Yeah, this is very much her. She seeks redemption just as badly as Paeriel does for Solas, just as badly as Blackwell-her love interest-does.
(Inner Circle)
Kara Adaar="Because you cannot hold freedom". Very true. She's seen what freedom has cost her parents to give her a better life and plans to make the most of hers. That desire to enjoy life is shared with Sera. The desire to understand the world through the lens of ensuring that freedom for others is something she shares with Dagna.
Emilyse Trevelyan="You swallow pain and fold around it" Yikes. This is accurate to her time in the Circle, however. She spent much of her time trying to be a "good" mage, despite a number of abuses by the Templars and the Chantry. It was only when her brother visited her during his training as a recruit that some of those abuses came to light and she was brought to the Circle in Ostwick, closer to home and with the newly added bribes to ensure her safety, she did much better. However, this newfound life did not for too long as the Rebellion broke out and she was left adrift for a time before making her way with some other refugees to the Conclave at Haven. She was nervous about so many Templars, but eventually found solace and peace with Cullen as they each began to heal over their own traumas of their respective sides, and together as they began a family shortly after Trespasser.
Samrel Lavellan="because you cannot hold freedom" Interesting. He's actually one of my simplest OCs; a simple life with his clan and husband, First to the Keeper and cousin to Paeriel, is all he wants. Unlike some of my other Dalish OCs, he hasn't faced quite the same level of hardship and loss, and though he does mourn the loss of his clan, he seeks to rebuild it alongside his husband and the few survivors that managed to escape the humans' blades. So perhaps that defiance of the losses inflicted harkens back to the Dale's and the elves' refusal to submit to the Alienages, by simply standing up and saying "No, you cannot silence us" is enough? That could be a type of freedom and there is power in that refusal. Thoughts to consider more later.
Pyrmar Cadash="This isn't enough for you". Oh that's interesting. Pyrmar is one of those characters that seems super simple (ex-surfacer Carta bruiser with a notable penchant for leadership as a Champion) and, for the most part, he is. He likes drink and fun as much as any other mercenary like the Chargers. But, like Dorian, he sometimes feels inadequate in some way. As if he is meant for more; to be and do more. Most notably for basic respect and care, something his upbringing in the cutthroat nature of the Carta was missing. Dorian shows him that he is capable of love and being loved and The Iron Bull gives him the respect and belonging he lacked previously. While he can still fall orey to his baser nature at times, his heart as grown much over the years and so it becomes less common to "want more" as he used to.
(Last Court)
Aurore de Serault="Because you have made mistakes you can't swallow" Ooo. She does carry some lingering guilt and grief over her late husband's death at the hands of the Game. She struggles with the Orlesian court at times, and much prefers solitude and peaceful quiet to gossipy ballrooms and noble Lords and ladies demanding a dance, a bonding point for her and her love interests of The Silent Huntsman and the Elegant Abbess. However, it's not that she's unskilled in the Game; in fact, she's quite good at it. She simply prefers simplicity to more complex machinations. All that said, she does regret the ferocity with which she holds grudges; she had gone on to murder the entire families of those individuals responsible for her husband's death.
Marcel de Serault="You swallow pain and fold around it". Hmmm. Not sure of this one. Marcel divorced his wife to pursue a cloistered and scholarly life in pursuit of knowledge (he was once a Chevalier). Eventually he began to crave the adventure of the Game again, which is how he fell for The Wayward Bard and the Dashing Outlaw. Again, not too sure but it's interesting. Perhaps he simply internalized his losses and pain?
(Hawkes)
Knight-Commander Jasper Hawke of Kirkwall="because you've made mistakes you can't swallow" Oh cool! Jasper watches his younger siblings-three of his fellow quadrupled and Carver- go off into the Deep Roads expedition. He made the decision to stay behind to protect Bethany and their mother in case things went south. Despite assurances from his departing siblings, things did go south. After being pissed at Batrand, he sighed and went to work for the Templars. Shortly thereafter, despite his best efforts, Bethany was caught by Templars and taken to the Circle. Jasper did what he could to protect and shield his sister from the worst abuses of the Templars under Meredith's command, no matter the personal costs and enmity it earned him from his siblings and companions. It even ended his relationship with Anders around the beginning of Act 2. After Meredith was defeated, he worked with Cullen to try and reform the Templars and rebuild Kirkwall post-Chantry boom. His efforts were strained once red lyrics began to show up and corrupt his fellow templars. Despite narrowly avoiding being swept into the group while infiltrating it to gather intel, he succeeded in driving them out. When Cullen left for the Inquisition, he stepped up to continue reforming the Templars for protecting the mages. While he originally balked at the pro-mage decisions of the Inquisition, he ultimately agreed that the Chantry had abused all of its charges-mages and templars both. He began to reshape the Templars under his command to fit in line with the changing world; a choice to take lyrium, and a recovery and rehabilitation plan set in stone for all members who wished to leave, new rules and regulations in place to protect the rights and dignity of both mages and Templars, slowly making them a secular force beyond the Chantry but under the control of Vivenne's newly reformed Circle of Magi perhaps. He does what he believes to be right and for the best of his family, even if they dislike his decisions. A trait he no doubt picked up from his mother.
Lord Gray Hawke of House Amell="You swallow pain and fold around it" This is fitting for Lord Amell. While Jasper and Violet always held loft goals to pursue and Skye simply wanted to go and see the world for all it was, Gray preferred to remain at home and tend to their family. He is the one most connected to the Amell legacy rather than the Hawke self-made determination. That's not to say it isn't there; he's more than willing to help others and make something of himself, but it comes back to wanting to appease and help his family in whatever ways he could. He pines for Anders for a great deal of time, but doesn't make a move due to either Jasper dating the mage or simply not wanting to be a rebound for his brother. In the end, however, Anders surprises him (perhaps nudged on by Skye and Violet) by initiating a kiss and the two quickly develop into a stable relationship. He is even willing to leave all he'd built to go on the run with Anders and further aid him in his cause. Gray is just a cutie who wants a simple meal and a nice husband. If he gets to watch Anders shoot lightning at fools, well, who is he to laugh?
Viscountess Skye Hawke="Because you cannot hold freedom". Accurate. Skye loves her freedom. While she is certainly ambitious, it often comes down to more power means more freedom. She rules as Viscountess of Kirkwall for a time until abdicating in favor of Varric so she can pursue Tallis across the seas, but also to simply go back to adventuring and exploring. While she does not care for the Qun and its Qunari, she cares about people and her family most of all. It is one of the few tethers she did not choose but it is the one she keeps above all others. After all, even the Sky must touch the earth at some point just as a Hawk must return to its nest to rest and tend its young.
Champion Violet Hawke of Kirkwall="Because you have made mistakes you cannot swallow". Fitting given that Violet is both a blood-mage (also a spirit-healer and force-mage) and extremely pro-mage freedom, and her choices often led her to conflict with Jasper due to their views and lives. She has only ever wanted to be free to live her life as she chooses, with is how she fell for Isabela. She fell for Fenris because she's a bleeding heart who wants to help everyone as much as she can. Kirkwall left its mark on her and she's struggling to do better than what she views as a failure due to her diplomatic nature in the name of mage freedom by the time the Inquisition comes around. While just as driven by the cause for equality as Anders, she often privately struggled with her mother's death among the many other revelations and choices of her family, fearing the loss of all she called dear. Luckily Fenris and Isabela returned to her and they made a pact to live well on the seas after everything had settled down and Champion Hawke was no longer needed.
(Awakening)
Senior Warden Dion Caron="This isn't enough for you" Okay. So, Dion joined the Wardens to escape the Templars (p.s. it didn't work) and his adopted sister Victoire-Ainsley was already joining and he had promised to protect her for their parents. He's happily married to Garam and spends much of his time training recruits and fostering camaderie in the ranks of the Wardens. What more could he want? Perhaps it is nothing and the doubt is simply there as is human nature, perhaps he frets about his dwindling time in the world before his Calling, perhaps he does want more. Who can say?
Senior Warden/Warden-Constabke Victoire-Ainsley Caron of Orlais="This isn't enough for you" Pfft. Victoire-Ainsley's ambition to make a name for herself and her family (she came from a long line of Chevaliers) nearly cost her her life and resulted in her father's death. Her mother adopted an orphan boy-Dion-in the hopes it would curb some of her darker tendencies. It partially succeeded. While she did not go as far as she'd once been willing, she still acted ruthlessly and this earned her quite the name in the Game for a time. However, her fall from grace was just as bloody as her rise, and she was only spared by the intervention of the Wardens' Conscription. She lost a great deal and was now forever barred from reclaiming it. She acted out for a time and was surprised when the Wardens allowed-encouraged even-it. However the death of her husband to save them during a nasty skirmish against a powerful broodmother she'd led them against resulted in a mission successful but at a cost she hadn't wanted to pay; only her, Dion, Garam, and I senna made it out alive. Since then, she had been working towards redeeming herself, opening up to the criticism and vulnerability she'd been so afraid of, much like Loghain is when he is sent to Orlais. And so while her pride demands more of her, she focuses instead on what she can provide and tries to bite back the bile this causes. After all, this is for the best and that is enough. Right?
Senior Warden Isenna Andras="You were meant to" Isenna lived first under the Orlesian cruelty in the Alienate and then the Templars' in the Circle. It is no wonder she fights to carve a name for herself in history, to make herself her own, to be what she was never meant to even dream of. She wants to be a hero but struggles against her own inner nature to survive. She is driven by the conflict of selflessness and self-preservation. Perhaps Mhairi's idealism is enough to tip the scales for her.
Senior Warden Garam Kader="Because you have made mistakes you cannot swallow" Accurate. He joined the Wardens after passing off the wrong Carta Boss and then spent years helping Victoire-Ainsley and her brother grow their ambition and then....his unit died beyond the four of them. And all the glamor of the Wardens fell away and he realized just how far some would go and he began to wait for them to step back, hoping they would step back. Victoire-Ainsley and Dion and Isenna did. He did. But the Clarel didn't. He hopes Loughlin will do better as the Warden-Commander of Orlais. He knows he will do better and he knows his husband, Dion, will.
(Wardens)
Warden-Commander Lynera Mahariel of Fereldan="You were meant to" Ouch my heart. Lynera lost Tamlen and never quite recovered. She was forced into a Warden and then into leading the party as the Hero of Fereldan and then into the role of Warden-Commander/Arlessa of Amaranthine and she did it. She took all the pain and hurt and losses over the years, the Taint and its horrors and its strength sapping, the politics and hard decisions; she took it all and she did it. She did what was needed, became what a Grey Warden Commander and hero was meant to be. She can't even say she regrets becoming a Warden anymore as its become so central to her identity now, only mourns the things and people she's lost to get there. I think Sten-excuse me-the Arishok understands this. Perhaps that is why they both hope to never meet on a battlefield unless they are on the same side again.
Warden Isemaya Tabris="You swallow pain and fold around it" Okay that's like SUPER interesting. See, Isemaya learned about the injustices elves face early in life. It cost her her mother's life and very nearly her twin brother's as well, after all. She became a warrior to protect them (her family, her community, her home) and she was good at it. But then she saw a glimpse of a different life with Nelaros, one where she might be happy simply letting someone else deal with all the fighting and clawing and exhaustion. She wanted it, she realized, she wanted it very much. But then she lost him and Shianni was hurt and she was hurt and Vaughn was dead and the humans were so angry. She geared up to protect her people again, to be the brave warrior like her mother before her. And then....Duncan Conscripted her. She was forced from her home, alive and angry and proud, and so she expanded her family to her companions. Then Zevran tried to kill them and they let him live and she watched him like a hawk and saw the same longing for a life, for more in the absence of loss, in him. She helped him heal and learn to live again and he helped her set down her weapons and her anger for a time and then the times became more frequent and they grew closer. She told him she loved him in the brisk Haven air and he gave her a golden earring to match the old and blood-stained wedding band she still wore, and she had found peace. She continued with the Wardens, with helping him take down the Crows, with searching for a cure so they could have more time. She took her pain but instead of weaponizing it like Lynera and others did, she learned to let it go and continue on. She learned to live in spite of, not because of, her pain.
Arcane Advisor Catriona Surana of Fereldan= "Because you have made mistakes you cannot swalllow" Oof. This is definitely Catriona during Origins. Her decisions to betray Jowan, to use blood magic at Ostagar and then to continue to practice and study it despite the stigma it holds, the merging with Compassion to save Cale, to give up her dreams of marriage and freedom and let Alistair marry Anora for the good of Fereldan and again when Leliana went on to become the Left Hand of the Divine and then again as the Divine Victoria...she makes a lot of mistakes and the consequences haunt her for a very long time. While she does manage to find some good in them, or at least simply makes peace with them, they still color how she becomes in 2 and Inquisition and beyond.

I was tagged by @water-whisp
Thank you, love! And thank you for the helpful words. Confession time, friends: I have OC sharing anxiety reservations. :)
This takes a long time, so I didn’t want anyone to feel obligated to do this. BUT, if this appeals to you AT ALL, consider yourself tagged. If you do complete it please tag me <333 I would love to see them all.
                                       Your OC as a Companion
………………………………………………………………………………………….
                                            Aelyn Lavellan
Tumblr media
Inquisitor’s Name: Aelyn Lavellan
Race / Class / Specialization: Dalish Elf, Rogue Archer, Assassin Gender Identity: Female
Varric’s Nickname for them: Archer
Short bio: Aelyn grew up in a Dalish clan with her mother, father, and younger brother. She is a gifted archer and proficient hunter. Aelyn is independent, observant, reserved, and has a very strong moral compass. She is very close with her brother, who is the clan’s first. Aelyn has never had any desire to lead, but her personality, demeanor, and her sense of righteousness make her someone others tend to follow.
What would their companion card look like?
Initial Card: (Temperance) In the forest and dressed in her hunting leathers, walking forward with her bow in front of her and an arrow knocked. She is alert and cautious.
Recruitment mission:
When first approaching the crossroad in the Hinterlands, the party notices a three Dalish elves. Only two are armed--one an archer and one a mage--and they are protecting the third but are heavily outnumbered.
The Inquisitor and their party help defeat the rogue mages and templars, and the archer introduces herself as Aelyn. The mage is her brother Hathorn. She explains that she and her brother are escorting a healer to assist the refugees and thanks the Inquisitor for the help. They depart.
Later, if the Inquisitor completes any of the requests to assist the refugees at The Crossroads, Aelyn will approach the party again. She explains that her clan is relatively isolated and has avoided most danger, but between the breach and the fighting, she could no longer observe and do nothing. She acknowledges that the Inquisition is doing the same by helping the refugees, and offers to join the party.
At that point you have the choice to accept her or not. If you do not, she will still join Inquisition, however you will not hear from her again.
Where they would be in Skyhold / Haven:
In Haven, near the Inquisitor’s house.
In Skyhold, on the ramparts where you meet Hawke.
Personal quests:
Trapped by the Rifts: Aelyn receives word from her brother that multiple rifts have appeared near where her clan is camped and they are unable to flee. The clan is running low on supplies and needs assistance. She will ask the Inquisitor for help, and if they accept, are taken to the Dalish camp--Aelyn is locked into the party. As they draw close to the camp Aelyn’s brother joins them, and they fight and seal the rifts. Upon returning to Skyhold Aelyn thanks the Inquisitor, and they have the option of asking her about her brother and/or her life as an elf, as well as a flirt option. Completing this quest results in great approval. Refusing the quest will cause Aelyn to leave the Inquisition.
Hathorn’s Message: Aelyn receives another message from her brother, but it is only a map of the Storm Coast with a cave marked. It would take the Inquisitor too long to arrive, so they must select one of the advisors to complete the mission. Josephine will request local nobles send people to check the location, Cullen will send a small contingent of soldiers, and Leliana will send her spies. Selecting Josephine will cause the mission to fail, as the nobles come across a band of elves fighting Darkspawn and decide it is not worth the risk. Aelyn’s brother will be lost. Selecting Leliana or Cullen results in allies arriving in time to assist the elves, but Darkspawn continue to escape from a breach in the cave and require additional assistance immediately. Save Hathorn from Darkspawn operation becomes available.
Save Hathorn from Darkspawn (unavailable if Hathorn’s Message is completed by Josephine): The Inquisitor’s party (Aelyn is locked in) ventures to the Storm Coast to rescue Hathorn’s group. He and his party have active health bars and will die should their health run out, so the Inquisitor and party must fight strategically in order to keep Hathorn and his party alive. After fighting a number of Darkspawn, a mage in the party can seal the tunnel that they our pouring out of, ending the fight. If Hathorn is killed in the fighting, Aelyn is distraught and will leave the Inquisition temporarily to mourn. If Hathorn survives, she will insist on returning with him to their clan temporarily as many lives were lost and she wishes to mourn with her people. Upon returning to Skyhold, a cutscene will play where Aelyn returns and thanks the Inquisitor for their help, regardless of the outcome, but if Hathorn has died she will be decidedly withdrawn. Completion of this quest results in great approval if Hathorn survives.
How to get their approval/disapproval:
Aelyn has a strong sense of righteousness and will slightly approve of anything that helps the less fortunate or the oppressed. She also slightly approves of any questions an Inquisitor asks getting to know her or the Dalish. She slightly disapproves of needlessly aggressive dialogue options, and will greatly disapprove of any Sit In Judgement quest where execution or Tranquility is selected. Aelyn greatly approves of you allying with Briala and helping the Dalish or allying with the elvhen at the Temple of Mythal. She is also supportive of spirits and mages.
Break down of her Approval Ratings for Major Missions:
Fate of the Mages Conscript: Disapproves Ally: Greatly Approves
Fate of the Templars Disband: Slightly Disapproves Ally: Slightly Approves
Inquisitor’s Lead: A Dwarf/Elf/Qunari Stands for us all: Approves Example as a Mage: Slightly Approves For Faith: Greatly Disapproves For Order: Approves For What’s Right: Greatly Approves To Stop Corypheus: Greatly Approves For Personal Power: Greatly Disapproves For Vengeance: Slightly Disapproves
Fate of the Wardens Exile: Disapproves Ally: Approves
Ruler of Orlais Gaspard: Disapproves Briala: Greatly Approves Celene: Greatly Disapproves Reunite: Slightly Approves Spare Everyone: Slightly Approves Arrest Florianne: Approves Save Celene: Neutral Kill Celene:  Neutral
Abelas Alliance Ally: Greatly Approves Reject: Greatly Disapproves Drink from the Well: Non-Lavellan Inquisitor Drinks: Disapproves Lavellan Inquisitor Drinks: Greatly Approves Morrigan Drinks: Disapproves
Are they romanceable?
Yes. She is a little surprised by a flirtatious quizzy at first, but after establishing loyalty she responds positively. As approval rises she begins to open up more to display a sly sense of humor and unshakable loyalty. Aleyn is heterosexual and open to relationships with any race.
Can you have sex with them?
Yes, and she is sex positive, but is also perfectly content in a relationship with an ace partner. Her romance is one based more on mutual respect and support than on physical intimacy.
Aelyn falls on the demisexual range, so sex is a private and emotional investment for her.
Are they open to polyamoury?
No. She is non-judgmental about this fact, but she would be unhappy in a polyamorous relationship.
If they can be romanced and are not, will they begin a relationship / relationships with other character(s)? If so, who?
Yes. As both of them are inquisitive and independent, Aelyn and Solas develop a friendly relationship rather quickly. Upon arriving to Skyhold their relationship deepens and they begin a romance. After Solas leaves Aelyn is heartbroken, but stays with the Inquisition.
Who are they friendly with?
Aelyn is relatively friendly with everyone, but becomes closest to Solas, Varric, Cole, and Dorian
Who do they dislike?
A hardened Leliana, Bianca, Vivienne, Morrigan, Sera (she and Sera eventually develop a strong friendship, but Sera’s treatment of Cole and dismissal of all things “elfy” creates a lot of animosity early on)
Companion card changes: (use a text descrip. if you have no images)
Loyalty: (Judgement) Aelyn is in profile mid-leap, bow drawn and aimed. Her hair is caught in the wind and she has the hint of a smile on her lips. Beams of gold radiate from the tip of her arrow.
Loyalty Alternative: (The World Reversed) Signalling Aelyn’s disappointment in failing to bring positive change, she retreats into the forest. She is flanked by two trees that twist toward each other to form a circle with her in the middle. Her bow is on her back and she is hooded, looking back over her shoulder one final time.
Romanced: (Knight of Cups) Aelyn sits on a rock near a stream. She is smiling, with one hand clutching a white flower over her heart, the other reaches toward you to join her. The moon is overhead and reflected in the stream.
Side Missions:
Dragon Hunter: Aelyn takes great pride in being a hunter, but never dreamed she would ever encounter a dragon. Slay a dragon with Aelyn in the party.
Opinions on mages / templars / how the world is going to shit?
Aelyn strongly believes that mages should be free, which is one of the reasons she and Vivienne do not get along well. She is initially distrustful of Templars, but Cullen and Cassandra help her to see that they are not all bad, and they give her hope that they can change for the better.
Aelyn is proudly Dalish, but quick to admit that she does not worship any gods. She worries about the future of her people, and their ability to find a peaceful path in Thedas. She is terrified for all of the things going on in the world that she cannot control, but after joining the Inquisition feels more confident that they can make things better.
Something guaranteed to make them leave the party:
Refusing to help her brother and clan on her personal mission; approval rating getting too low; the Inquisition being used as a force of oppression
Special Events:
Imprisoned at Redcliffe: How is your Inquisitor holding up in Redcliffe, being slowly infected with red lyrium over the course of a year?
She is furious and broken, enraged that she can do nothing from her cell. When the Inquisitor arrives she believes she has finally gone mad.
At the Winter Palace: Does your Inquisitor enjoy the party, any special events with them at the Palace?
The Winter Palace is complicated for her. She enjoys people watching, and excels at the Game, but hates to play. She is very intrigued by Briala and believes Briala may be the best option for the future of her people.
If romanced, you will be able to share a kiss on the balcony.
In the Fade: Your Inquisitor’s reaction upon entering the Fade? Archdemon’s taunt, and Inquisitor’s response? Epitaph on their grave?
She will panic and detach a bit in order to keep herself from full-blown terror. If Solas is in the party, she will depend on him. Once she takes a moment to get her emotions in check, she will be deathly quiet and go into hunting mode: senses on high alert and arrow knocked and ready.
Her epitaph would say: ‘Unwanted’
The Nightmare will taunt Aelyn and state that her loved ones wouldn’t notice if she were gone, and would actually be better off without her. If her love interest is in the party, Nightmare will specifically state that they are bored by her, and are only with her out of convenience. She will not respond, but her love interest will (or has the option to, if she is romanced by the Inquisitor)
Trespasser: What is your Inquisitor up to two years after Corypheus’ defeat? Any special events with them over the events of Trespasser?
Aelyn never stops loving Solas, but does not search for him. She does not return to her clan, feeling more at home with the Inquisition and the family she’s created there. If alive, her brother will eventually join the Inquisition as well.
During Trespasser she is excited that the group is coming together again, but very concerned over the future of the Inquisition, and that the Inquisitor’s mark is getting worse. If she romanced Solas she will be overwhelmed when he reveals himself. She makes the hardest decision of her life to stay with the Inquisitor rather than flee to find him on her own. But if the Inquisitor vows to stop Solas by killing him, her decision to stay with the Inquisitor becomes motivated by deceit, as she decides the best way to protect Solas is to know the movements of the Inquisition.
Other Major Events: Any other major events that happen with them over the course of the main game?
Aelyn and Cole become very close, and she will join you on Cole’s personal quest to becoming more human or more spirit-like. She will not approve or disapprove of either option, but will disapprove of the Inquisitor referring to Cole as a demon. Once his personal quest is complete, they can often be found together in Aelyn’s normal spot on the ramparts.

Sans, and also Papyrus. Don’t get me wrong, they were funny and charming characters, but it really took a while for me to warm up to them.
Tali, I didn’t dislike her, but she just wasn’t love at first sight either. But now I adore her.
Dorian and Krem,,, also Fenris. Gotta love those Tevinter bois.
the character you relate to the most:
Undyne,, I think.
Tali??? maybe??? there are so many relatable characters it’s hard.
Josephine.
the character you’d slap:
Tbh Sans, bc he’s just so passive when shit’s going down.
Alec Ryder.
Solas, you lil bitch.
three favorite characters in order of preference:
Grillby, Gaster and finally Sans.
Vetra, Garrus and Jaal.
Krem, Fenris and Dorian (surprise surprise.)
a character you did not like at first but do now:
Sans???? Idk???
Miranda.
Vivienne.
otp(s):
Me/Everybody
Ryder/Vetra and Shepard/Garrus
Warden/Zevran (honestly, it’s the only somewhat sane relationship in that whole mess) Hawke/Fenris and Hawke/Anders, Inquisitor/Josephine (so healthy, so good)

Do Not Reach Beyond the Sky (7/?)
Warnings: None Tags: Canon-typical violence, Freeform, Retelling, Original Characters, Additional Tags Pairing: None yet Characters: All of them
Fahleon Lavellan is several things, a Dalish elf, a deserter Warden, but Herald of Andraste is not of them. The Creators have played a cruel trick if anyone is to believe he played some part of the Conclave even if the evidence is a rift-sealing mark on his hand. Where he does fit, he doesn’t know and isn’t fond of finding out.
Previous|Current|Next
“We need help from the rebel mages in Recliffe,” Cassandra said, without preamble and without a second look after finding Fahleon wandering into the Chantry with the morning’s light. Sleep hadn’t come, not when he had one eye open for anyone ready with a mocking word for his escape and the other open for anyone ready with a knife to his back. The tree he’d climbed into hadn’t helped either. It was a far cry from comfort, but he didn’t trust Haven enough to sleep in the same bed twice. At least someone would have to make a racket in order to reach him if they wanted to kill him.
Then, the purple-bruised sky had turned bloody, then piss colored, and Fahleon could have scowled at someone worth his ire rather than the clouds. He’d headed to the Chantry, a curse already prepared on his lips for when Cassandra mentioned the previous night. It slipped out when she brought up the mages.
Magic had gotten them all into this mess. Magic had torn open the sky and ripped the ceiling from the temple. Magic leaked from his hands and twisted his world into the chaos it was now - and she wanted to throw more into the mix? He shoved open the door to the war room with a scoff and let it close on her and her silly ideas.
“We need the templars.” Cullen stood over the table and he looked up when the door swung open again to meet his eyes. Fahleon felt the space between his shoulders itch where his bow should have rested. His fingers curled around empty air instead of a quiver of arrows, and he supposed Leliana was right to encourage the elven savage to be seen without a weapon or an animal on his shoulder. He only agreed with leaving Ada to her own business. She disliked the change in scenery even worse than he did, and only have the control on her than his bow. Her talons were quicker and her beak fiercer than any arrow point - and more likely to hit anything that movies. He had some control, at least.
Except when it came to stupid ideas.
A soldier marching towards him in full armor with a determination in his step and a fire in his eyes, words of templars and reinforcements and due cause was a very stupid idea on the man’s part. Fahleon growled low in his throat even as he felt himself move between him and the other side of the table. The mark on his hand crackled and Fahleon gripped the edge, nails digging in deep into the grain.
“Commander Cullen,” Cassandra said, and Cullen was only so lucky she was watching. He wasn’t so sure what the magic in his hand could do, but he wouldn’t feel guilty trying it out on a templar. Former templar. Once a templar always a murdering Chantry dog.
“Such as they are,” the man said, after a moment, and he cleared his throat. Fahleon’s lip curled. “We lost many in the valley, and I fear we’ll lose more before this is through. Which is why I say we gain the Order’s influence to help us.”
“The mages are just as useful,” a woman said, and Fahleon twitched at the familiar pitch. He glanced over his shoulder and the woman who’d argued the noble out of Haven curtsied with a deep bend at the waist. “I am Josephin Montilyet - ambassador, chief diplomat, and very pleased to officially introduce myself. Andaran atish'an.”
Fahleon’s hand slipped from the table in his haste to eye her. His thumb caught a sliver and blood welled from the cut. “You speak elven?”
He frowned and her eyes strayed to the board again in hands. “I’m afraid you’ve heard the entirety of it, but I would be pleased to learn more.” She did her curtsy a second time. Just where had Cassandra found all these people?
“You know Sister Nightingale as our spymaster,” she said, whether she knew she was interrupting his thoughts or not. The hardness of her eyes and the tightness of her jaw spoke her uncaring of either. Fahleon crossed his arms and sucked on his thumb until his mouth tasted less like metal - which took less time than it did for Cassandra to explain herself. Not that he’d ask out of his own curiosity. More time spent in the Chantry was less time spent ogled and pointed towards and whispered at. It was warmer within the stone walls, too. Though, surely there was a better reason for holding him here than his own comfort. “You recall that I mentioned your mark needs more power than it has to close the Breach for good. Solas believes that we need is a power on the same as what was used to open it in the first place - but that will not be easy to come by.”
“But there is a rebel mage group amassing on the outskirts of Redcliffe,” Leliana explained. Cullen inhaled and Leliana pulled a map out from beneath several others to hold up in front of his face. He closed his mouth with a glower and rested his hand on the pommel of his sword. Fahleon caught the glint of steel and checked a flinch that sent goosebumps up his arms before it was caught. He didn’t dare look away so long as the templar’s fingers were moments away from bearing naked steel.
“As I said, we need power,” Cassandra agreed, and Fahleon didn’t like the way Cullen’s expression darkened. “Pouring that much magic into the Breach-”
“Could kill us all,” Cullen finished. He swiped the parchment out of Leliana’s hand and slammed it back on the table, out of view. “Whereas the templars could suppress the Breach and weaken it until the mark is as powerful as we need it. On it’s own.”
“That is pure speculation, Commander.”
“Is this because the elven apostate didn’t come up with the idea?” he snorted with a wave of his hand, and Fahleon’s ears twitched at the stress he put on the words elven and apostate. His lip curled. “I was a templar. I know what they’re capable of.”
“Unfortunately,” Josephine interjected as a fact and most certainly not a denial. Or a sigh. Or a reprimand. Tension faded as she stepped up to the table and tapped her tablet against the top to dispel their argument and draw their eyes to her. “Neither group will speak to us. The Chantry, as we all know, has denounced the Inquisition - and you must specifically.” Fahleon rolled his shoulders under her gaze. “Some of them are calling you - a Dalish elf - the Herldan of Andraste and it frightens the Chantry. Everyone else has declared it blasphemy, and us heretics for supporting you.”
“Tell them to stop.”
Her mouth quirked and Josephine wiped it away with a pass of her quill over her lips. “A simple but unattainable solution, I’m afraid. Not with the Chantry’s voice so loud in this turbulent time. Thus, it limits our options. Both of which do not include approaching the mages or the templars,” she finished, and gave a pointed look to both Leliana and Cullen in turn.
“What you’re saying is if I wasn’t with the Inquisition…” The harder Cassandra looked at him the wider Fahleon felt his grin spread.
“You not being here is not an option,” she growled, and he coughed a chuckled into a fist.
“But there is something you could do,” Leliana said, lifting her head up from the papers she’d been looking over as they spoke. The brightness in her eyes and the eagerness in her steps as he rounded the table sent fear curling slow and cold somewhere low in his gut. She unrolled the paper she held in her hand out for them and moved her thumb down a large and woody part of the map. “There is a Chantry cleric by the name of Mother Giselle that has expressed some wish to speak with you. Her position is not far - she has been helping the refugess caught in the mage-tempar conflict within the hinterlands just outside Redcliffe. Her title is impressive enough that she knows more about those involved with the Chantry than I ever could. It could make her useful in gaining influence with either side - whichever you might choose.”
“It would be a good chance to expand the Inquisition’s influence as you go,” Josephine said, slowly, with a nod as she dragged out each word as she thought. “The more they see you out sealing the rifts and helping the refugees the less they’ll lean on the word of the Chantry.” Fahleon scoffed.
“It’s true,” Cullen said, and he lifted a finger as an idea came to him. Fahleon snarled and grit his teeth. If he pointed any closer, he’d lose that finger. “There’s a horse master by the name of Dennet that lives near the farms who could be of use for us. Speak with him you’re there.” He finally dropped his hand to push a small clay piece in the shape of a sword across the table to a point marked in heavy ink. Redcliffe, Fahleon assumed. He picked up the clay piece, ignoring Cullen’s patient if accusing sigh. Fahleon let it drop to the floor and let them clean up the shards while he left to fetch his bow.
Unnecessary work in return for their unnecessary talk. It was fair.
Varric was outside leaning against one of the two tall flaming pillars guarding the Chantry’s entrance picking at the underside of his nails with a thin knife. He waved the blade in a lazy roll of his wrist when Fahleon passed. He rolled his eyes and the grin the dwarf gave him made his hope for what little peace he’d find in the short walk to the cabin curdle. Fahleon’s ears twitched with every step, trying to catch any hint of mockery about to tumble from Varric’s mouth beneath the sound of snow crunching underfoot as he followed the paths down from the Chantry.
“Sleep well,?” he finally asked, both too far and too close for anyone to hear them. Varric’s chuckle died quickly under Fahleon’s withering look and he cleared his throat, dropping his eyes back to the knife in his hand. He flipped it once before sheathing it. “It wouldn’t kill you to lighten up, would it?”
“Yes.” Whatever the dwarf was hoping for, it wasn’t that.
Varric rubbed at his brow. “That ruins the lighted-hearted official welcome to whatever the fuck it is we’re about to get started here, you know.” Fahleon lifted a shoulder in apology. “And, well, now that Cassandra is out of earshot…are you holding up alright?”
It was Varric’s turn to catch him off guard. Fahleon expected some further teasing about his late night return or another poorly crafted joke about the fledgling Inquisition. There was something close enough to real concern in Varric’s voice that made Fahleon uncomfortable, and he pursed his lips. Friends, Varric had called them, but he’d never had a say in the matter. They weren’t friends. This had to be some attempt to gauge his strength or attitude or…something to be used against his later.
“You went from being the most wanted criminal in all of Thedas to the top of the armies of the faithful” he continued, whether he knew Fahleon was listening or not. “Most people would have spread that out over more than one day.”
“I didn’ have a choice,” he finally answered. Varric’s mouth twisted into something not quiet a frown. Fahleon covered it up with the door to the cabin when he swung it open. The bow was where he left it, newly cleaned and oiled and stacked to dry against the stonework of the open fireplace.
“We'ce been staring at the Breach and whatever it’s been spitting out for days. I don’t think anyone would be in there and survive.” Creators, he was still talking? “If this is a joke, it’s better than the one is Maker is playing on all of us right now. I hope there’s a damn good punch line coming. You might want to consider running at the first opportunity - I’ve written enough tragedies to know where this one is going.”
“Already tried.” Fahleon slung his bow over his shoulder and crossed his arms when Varric laughed.
“Right, I almost forgot! We’re going to need a bigger miracle than the one where you just show your face around here again.”
“Cassandra thinks we can find one in the Hinterlands.” Varric raised a brow and Fahleon pushed past him to head towards the rookery where Ada would be held. The dwarf still followed him and…and he was going to regret this. He could feel it, already, from the ringing from his ears, but the hinterlands was a big place. Lots of twists and turns to hide from. Lots of distance to make a break for it if it got too much. “Want to come?”
“Cassandra has a plan? Then I don’t have a choice when it comes to her decisions.”
Fahleon rolled his eyes. “I’m asking.”
“As if I have a choice,” he repeated with a laugh. He pat the crossbow at his back. “Bianca and I are at your service, whenever you need them.”

OC Interview
I wasn’t tagged, but I was badgered into doing this by @elfsplaining. I blame you for this!
1. Pick an original character! 2. Fill in the questions/statements as if you were being interviewed for an article and you were the character/muse 3. Tag people to do the same: I spent too long on this and I need to go to work, like, now. Not tagging, just do it if you want to and tag me.
Lyna Lavellan
I had a difficult time deciding which version of her to use. I decided to use my most recent version, after the end of Vhenan. So beware spoilers for my stories I guess.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In New Elvhenan, the queen’s time is precious, though she is more available than her king. It is her time that is sought for interviews, by people wanting to know more about this new country springing up in different places across Thedas, reclaiming ancient lands and rebuilding, all the widely spread cities connected by eluvians. It is only due to the interviewer’s excellent credentials and record that they are allowed to meet with her at all, though a guard stands just behind the queen, hand on the hilt of his sword and magic thrumming through him. The queen herself also has magic lingering at her fingertips as she seats herself and crosses her legs, her dress fanning out around them gracefully. She looks at the interviewer with a smile, calm as though she were not holding the threat of her magic to keep the interviewer in line.
1.   What is your name? Lyna Lavellan
2.   No seriously, what is your name? Ah.. Queen Lyna of Elvhenan, I suppose.
3.   Do you know why you were called that? She raises an eyebrow, smile turning into a smirk. Which, queen or Lyna? I would think that why I am queen would be fairly obvious. Is it not?
4.   Do you have any abilities or powers? Besides the magic that was granted to me at the fall of the Veil? The magic that has led my people to call me the White Witch? She flexes her fingers and the white light there pulses slightly. Besides my somewhat legendary skill as an archer? Besides my ability to remain unseen in a crowded room or attract all attention to myself at once? No, none really.
5.   Stop being a Mary Sue. I’m going to assume that was some sort of insult and remind you that you are currently sitting in the heart of Arlathan, my home. I would ask that you take this seriously. I have no wish to be a tabloid headline and from your credentials I had thought the same of you.
6.   What is your eye color? Violet.
7.   How about your hair color? White, I suppose.
8.   Did you leave behind any family when you joined up with the Inquisition? That was a long time ago. But yes, I did. I have since been reunited with them.
9.   I see… what about your parents? What about them?
10. Do you have any? Of course. My father died when I was twelve. My mother and her wife, my former Keeper, reside in Din’an Hanin as the city’s leaders.
11. Alright, then. How about pets? Did you have any growing up in your clan? I have no pets, no. In my clan we had the halla, but they were not pets.
12. What does the inquisitor do for fun? I have not been Inquisitor in years, and I would prefer not to be identified as such. What little free time I have I mostly spend reading books on politics and world history or spending time with my family.
13. Have you made any friends, or met anyone special? She frowns and uncrosses her legs. I... Are you even aware of who you’re speaking to?
Interviewer: Of course, Your Majesty. They’re a standard set of questions. My apologies.
Lyna: Very Well. I have reconnected with many old friends from before my time with the Inquisition. I also have many long chats with Dorian, Archon of Tevinter, though we only discuss politics in open places and these chats are personal. I enjoy the company of his... friend, the Iron Bull, as well. She smiles with amusement at the term. Varric Tethras of Kirkwall is one of my oldest friends, in addition.
14. Do you have any hobbies/activities you like doing? Aside from my reading? I suppose I enjoy puzzles of the mind, figuring people out.
15. Ever hurt someone before? When I had to.
16. Ever… killed anyone before? When my life was at stake, yes. Of course.
17. What kind of animal are you? An interesting question. Many of my people equate me to a halla, probably because I am pale. However, those who know me best reject that image. Many prefer to compare me to a wolf, though I have also been considered a fox once before.
18. Name one of your worst habits. Hmm... She recrosses her legs, considering. I suppose that would be my penchant to eat sweets when I’m stressed.
19. Do you look up to anyone at all? Oh yes. My father was a wonderful man who died to protect his clan. He was an excellent father and role model.
20. Do you go to school? I continue my own education on an ongoing basis, if that’s what you mean. In my clan, we were all taught by the hahrens while young, then mostly left to pursue what knowledge we desired.
21. What are you most afraid of? I fear that my people will fall to ruin once more, and I work every day to make sure that doesn’t happen.
22. What do you usually wear? She smiles as though at a private joke. The finest Elvhenan silk, of course. My people’s crafts are hardly wasted, and I adore the beauty of their work. I most prefer loose gowns, specifically. She brushes off her skirt.
23. Do you love someone? Naturally, I love my husband. I would never put up with him otherwise. And I love my son.
24. Would like to marry and have kids someday? She stutters slightly. I... am already married and have a son? Perhaps we could skip the questions with obvious answers? I have a meeting with several foreign dignitaries after this.
25. What class are you? She raises a brow, seeming irritated. I am royalty, but I assume that is not what you are referring to. I am known as a rogue archer.
26. Thoughts on pie? If it is sweet, I enjoy it.
27. Favorite drink? She sighs fondly. To my husband’s everlasting dismay, I adore tea.
28. What’s your favorite place? Wherever my family is, of course.
29. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean? Hmm, I suppose I would prefer a freshwater lake.
30. Camping indoor or outdoors? Is camping indoors even possible? Regardless, I adore the outdoors and I miss camping out under stars.
31. Sexual orientation? Whatever suits me. From now until the end of time, that will be my husband.
32. And what attracts you? My initial attraction to my husband was due to his intelligence and wisdom. Also the shape of his lips.
33. Are you interested in anyone? She sighs heavily. I thought we agreed to skip the unnecessary questions?
34. Well, what’s your type? My husband is. From that you can extrapolate that I adore Elvhen men of lean yet muscular build with large, calloused hands and the power to destroy civilizations. The white light in her fingers pulses.
35. Any fetishes? That is not an appropriate question to ask me and I will not answer it. Who do you represent, again?
36. Seme or uke? Top or bottom? Dominant or submissive? Her eyes narrow somewhat aggressively, the guard behind her pulls his sword a few inches out of its sheath menacingly. The interviewer begins to sweat. Next question, please.
37. Tell me about something you don’t like. I dislike having my time wasted with inappropriate questions by someone who managed to pass all security checks in order to make it into the room with me here. I am ordinarily quite accommodating of those who wish to know me and my people better, but I dislike probing and invasive questions.
38. Are you wanting the quiz to end, Majesty? Considering that my husband, Solas, Fen’Harel, the Dread Wolf, and king of Elvhenan is currently waiting for me at my next meeting, yes, I am.
39. What’s your bra size? You clearly can’t take a hint. She looks over her shoulder at her guard. Telahn, this interview is over. Please escort our guest to the eluvian and see that they are searched first. I also want someone to verify their credentials again. I also think it might be prudent if we confiscated the interview notes, wouldn’t you agree? Feel free to enlist aid from Abelas if you encounter resistance. Thank you.
The guard smiles silently and hustles the interviewer away none too gently. Lyna puts her head in her hands for a moment.
Lyna: And here I thought it was supposed to be a serious interview, not a fetishization of Elvhenan’s queen.
The door at the back of the room opens, one clearly meant for servants, and a woman with fiery hair and scars across all her exposed skin steps through, amusement dancing in her eyes.
Kahlia: We may have won our nation and a modicum of respect, but to many we are still knife-ears, rabbits, less than people. They tiptoe around you because you are queen, but I have seen the way our people still have to fight for respect with the shemlen.
Lyna: I thought I asked you to stop doing that, Kahlia. The servant’s entrances are for the servants.
Kahlia: I was painting.
Lyna: Oh, great. More unflattering murals. I really hope the interviewer didn’t see any of them. The ones with the wolf and halla fornicating are quite inappropriate.
Kahlia: Of course they weren’t seen. I only paint them where no one but our people will see them.
Lyna sighs, then stands and straightens her dress and hair. She offers a small smile to the woman who was the Hero of Ferelden.
Lyna: Try not to paint anything too risque?
Zevran, from outside the room where Kahlia came from: It it too late for that, my friend!
Lyna sighs again, then shakes her head and leaves for her meeting.

The OC question thing, all 50 answers bc I’m bored.
Some OC questions
1. Your first OC ever? Vikara Amarina Nellenryll. I’ve had characters before, but she was the first one who really stuck, who got a background and everything. She was my go-to oc for everything.  2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs? Alena Fanelis-Lavellan (dragon age)  3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?Nah 4. A character you rarely talk about? Seirein Xavier (adopted by Charles,) my X-Men OC. Her power is that she can make anyone do anything with her voice, so she’s resolved to be mute. She and Logan end up together.  5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?  Alena. Or idk, Belladonna Hawke. There aren’t enough Varric x Hawkes out in the world. I love both those bitches.
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related? Most of my Hawkes look similar tbh. I try to make them different, but I’m a slut for a strong-nosed, big-lipped, tawny-skinned woman.  7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories? AHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Yes. Hands down. Most of my Dragon Age OCs are already in stories, or are at least mentioned because I have them set up in specific timelines. Alena is getting her own goddamn biography. Belladonna is 5 chapters into her own story. My FenHawke is 37 pages into her story. I’ve got a oneshot posted with my Hawkebela. (Da2 is my fav game tbh.) My non-DA OCs have a few stories, too. Seirein is one chapter down in hers, my Sole Survivor has more than a few oneshots down, etc.  8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here! No. I’m uncomfortable with RP since a friend destroyed it for me a long time ago. I used to be super big into it, but now it just makes me squeamish.  9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else? Fight me. (Maybe Rastig. He’s a little shit.)  10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design? Idk what that means. A physical design? Most of them just get scars. I mean, Anna Hawke is deaf in one ear. Genevieve is blind. Idk. Most of them have fully fleshed out backstories so that’s about as complicated as they get.  11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”? Brilla Aeducan. Gemma Cadash. Missella Surana.  12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot On AO3, there’s a FenHawke series that I legit sat and read for 3 days straight. Literally didn’t even turn on my TV. (It’s here ) I really like this Hawke.  13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?  Depends on how you define troublmaker. As in, a douche? Rastig. As in, mischievous? Kalam Adaar, Titania Shepard, Jack Ryder, Belladonna Hawke.
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory HAHAHAHAAHHAAH Who doesn’t have one? Alena is the most fleshed out. She was born in Redcliffe, taken to the Circle at age 6, broke out with Anders at age 16, got separated from Anders, went to Denerim, was taken in by Cyrion and his family, was caught up in the slave trade, was sent to an abusive master in Kirkwall, killed him to escape, was caught by Cullen and taken to the Gallows, broke out of the Gallows, found Anders again, Anders was crazy, got help from Hawke (Belladonna) to get to the Sundermount Dalish clan, was taken in by them, found them all killed in year 7, was taken to live with Clan Lavellan, hated it but didn’t want to be alone so she allowed them to give her vallaslin even though she didn’t want it, Conclave, Solasmance, Solas broke up with her, finally Cullenmance.  15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people? Idk. Kinda? Kinda not though. I get shy really easily. I like talking about them. But with other people? Idk.  16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)? Marina Shepard 17. Any OC OTPs? Among just my OCs? No. I don’t ship my girls together. But each of them is specifically designed for a specific romance.  18. Any OC crackships? Nah 19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why) Vikara has been with me through a lot. I’ve had her for like... 7 years now? She made it through a bad breakup, high school graduation, and all of college.  20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)? Genevieve Hawke sings frequently at the Hanged Man. She’s a Mezzosoprano if she really gets going and she tends to get throaty with it, kinda like Christina Aguilera or Gaga. Marina Shepard can sing but she’s a bit shy to do it. If her friends can boost her up enough, she will for them. She’s a tenor.  21. Your most artistic OC Vikara Lavellan writes poetry. Brilla Aeducan draws/paints (she painted Leliana fireside one night.)  22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how? People think Anna Hawke hates Sebastian, but that’s not true. She’s just threatened by him because she’s a mage, and he’s very vocal about turning in her mage friends. (She used to feel the same way about Fenris, but she fell in love too fast.)  23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like? Most of them.  24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why? Genevieve Hawke. She’s a very strong, proud woman.  25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?) Tbh, most of my OCs are just re-coded versions of myself. Except Rastig. But I guess Anna Hawke. The story I mentioned with her is focused on her weight issues and how Fenris helps her learn to love herself (and vice versa.)  26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will? I mean, I’ve had Vikara for 7 years. Not all game platforms allow for the same character customizations.  27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song? Nah 28. Your most dangerous OC? Rastig Brosca and Titania Shepard.  29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going? Alena is actually about to fall into a well and ponder her death because she didn’t tell anyone, so, her.  30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection? Asena Adaar. Josephine thinks they’re darling, and they talk about their dolls together.  31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really) Marina Shepard is all about the memes, man. She’s nothin’ but jokes, nonstop, though once in a blue moon, she might reblog a picture of a nice ass (tastefully, of course.)  32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why? Kalam Adaar doesn’t get scared. She just cracks jokes until she feels better.  33. Your shyest OC? Anna Hawke. 34. Do you have any twin characters? Yes! Belladonna Hawke was a twin to Garrett Hawke (who is deceased.)  35. Any sibling characters? Beyond Belladonna, no. Though, Asena Adaar and Gemma Cadash are quite close. (Multi-inquisitor AU, but only Gemma has the mark. Asena is just part of the inner circle.)  36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)? Nah. I’m a solo-OCer 37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human I mean. I only have any human DA characters because I didn’t get a choice with Hawke. Even my queen is, in my lore, an elf because I really don’t like humans. Every single OC would be non-human if I had the choice.  38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer? Jack Ryder.  39. Introduce any character you want I have a Labyrinth story I started.............a longass time ago. The main character is Jacqueline (the French, not the American,) and she’s the daughter of Sarah. She is mute for most of the story because she was driving in an accident that killed her father. Sarah contacts Jareth and asks him to help fix Jack, help her overcome her guilt and trauma, so he takes her to the Labyrinth.  40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share! Not really. I love them all, the wee babs.  41. Has anyone drawn fanart of your OCs? If yes, maybe show a picture or two here (remember sources & permissions!) Nope.  42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods? Titania Shepard. It wasn’t a huge leap for her to go from Shakespeare (where she supposes her namesake comes from) to mythology.  43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess I like big noses, strong cheekbones, brilliantly colored eyes, and scars. Lots and lots of scars.  44. Something you like about your OCs in general They’re like my friends.  45. A character you no longer use? Psh. I can’t even remember. If I don’t use them, they’re lost forever.  46. Has anyone ever told you that you treat your OCs badly? Not yet 47. Has anyone ever (friendly) claimed any of your OCs as their child? IRL, nah. In games, most of my Shepards are bonded strongly to their krogan teammates, and then there’s Seirein who’s literally adopted.  48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure Brilla Aeducan 49. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes Kalam Adaar and Titania Shepard 50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want If you want, you can tag your ask answers with #yetanotherOCmeme so I can check them out too `v´9 I just really fking love them all. The biggest struggle is that I have so many I’m so invested in but I obviously can’t do anything with them all in one go. I have to focus on one then another then back to the one and it gets so frustrating because I have so many ideas and stories to come up with but so little time.
