law, who sighs, knowing you shouldn’t wake someone from a nightmare. who instead, wraps his arms around your form and drags you closer. holding your body closer to his, lips pressed to your hair, mumbling repeatedly: “hey, i’m here, it’s okay i got you im here.” until you’ve stopped trembling

law, who doesn’t know if you’ve truly heard him or not but will continue to hold you and speak to you anyways. your subconscious clings to him for safety and he’s happy to, determined to provide it. his fingers continue to rub soothing circles into your skin, to smooth over your hair. his lips continue to press to your head to mumble mindless comfort.

law, who won’t wall back asleep until your breathing has evened out again and your body has relaxed in his hood. he still won’t release you from his safe hold but he’ll at least know the danger has passed. it’s possible you won’t even remember this in the morning. but law does it for you anyways.

I’m honestly okay with keeping it casual bc … idk! Enjin just can’t seem to figure it out! Esp bc I treat him like my boyfriend in every single way but … don’t really ask the same from him? And that bothers him a lot lmao for some reason (see: he thinks it’s super baffling) and eventually becomes this thing where he’s on a mission to tie ME down. It’s honestly hard for me to articulate some of this bc I don’t have any .. canon selfship “lore” since I’m constantly going thru my daydreams and altering things depending on any number of reasons!! But this is the basic gist of things I think!!
