I have a tendency to get lost in the day-to-day of my life. My days are filled with work, family, and responsibilities. It's easy for me to lose sight of what is important or miss out on God's leading because I'm so focused on the details of daily life. This is why my morning routine begins with God and ends with Him. Psalm 37:23 reminds me that God has a plan for my life and He will direct my steps if I will listen for His voice. When circumstances change or an impression comes into mind, it could be from Him wanting me to slow down and pay attention to something different in order to move forward in His direction instead of mine. Openness helps me stay open to all the ways He does not always communicate with me through a still small voice, sometimes He whispers and directs me to a scripture or book in the bible so I can dissect what He wants me to know.
