Meg! You! Happy Birthday you amazing person! 🫵
I wanted to do something for ya since I knew today was coming up, so I decided on the thing I knew I could do and get done in time, plus I wanted an excuse to draw a bunch of your AU boys.
As both a birthday present and as a general gift because you’re genuinely one of the nicest people I know in this entire fandom and you deserve it, have an art dump of the fairy boys and the imp twins, plus a little doodle of Flowerboi I threw in there because I noticed he was your favorite of the brainrot Doritos.
Surprise!

Guys, guys!!
Imagine like 4000 years later where human civilization developed or retreated I don't care it's not necessary.
Imagine if all sources of greek mythology vanished or died with the years, and as much as we depend on Homer's Iliad and Odyssey now people on the future find PERCY JACKSON and the other Rick Riordan serieses as the only source of mythological knowledge!!
They'd read the books and imagine that those are the gods we believe in now and they'd think that Percy and the other demigods are real,
And couple of millennia later, Rick Riordan's books were destroyed or lost so people only told the stories verbally for centuries,
And as stories go they got deformed!! Imagine people after so so many years thinking Percy and the other demigods are like super super heroes whom are like much stronger than your local demigods yet still below gods, and then further deformation happens!!
And people start to think that the demigods are the gods!!
Now please, imagine.... imagine!
Percy, god of the sea, water, storms, hurricanes, earthquakes and horses. (I can see him becoming the new king of the gods btw)
Jason, god of the sky, lightning and thunder, law and order.
Nico, god of death, shadows, ghosts and spirits. King of the underworld.
Annabeth, goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and warfare.
Piper, goddess of love, pleasure, passion, procreation, fertility, beauty and desire.
Frank, god of war, violence, bloodshed and manly virtues.
Leo, god of fire, master blacksmith and craftsman of the gods; god of the forge, craftsmanship, invention and volcanoes.
Will, god of the sun, of light, prophecy, philosophy, archery, truth, inspiration, poetry, music, arts, manly beauty, medicine, healing, and plague.
Thalia, goddess of the hunt. the wilderness, virginity, the Moon, archery, childbirth, protection and plague.
And I'd like to add!!
Dakota, god of wine, the grapevine, fertility, festivity, ecstasy, madness and resurrection
Rachel, goddess of family and marriage, women and childbirth.
Hazel, goddess of earth and riches. Princess of the underworld and younger sister of Nico, King of the underworld.
Conner, god of traps, diplomacy, thieves, games and the guide of dead souls.
Travis, messenger of the gods; god of travel, commerce, communication, borders and eloquence.
Meg, Goddess of the harvest, fertility, agriculture, nature and the seasons.
Reyna, Goddess of the hearth, fire and of the right ordering of domesticity and the family, and also goddess of war.
Yes, they have 16 gods!!
I don't know what to name them but it has to be a cool name, like we got the Titans and the Olympians so it has to be cool.
Also imagine if like the Olympian gods we have now being translated to future generations as the bad guys (like how we have Kronos and Gaea now) and like the demigods gods (cuz I still don't know what to name them) are the forces of good that protect humanity, because they need humans to worship them of them to exist obviously.
So this generation of demigods gods are like nice gods for once!! They care for their children and the people under their wings!!
Best things as follows:
Percy, the god of the sea, is married to Annabeth, goddess of wisdom and war strategy.
Nico, god of death and the underworld, is married to Will, god of the sun and music.
Jason, god of the sky, is married to Leo, god of fire and crafts.
Frank, god of war, is married to Hazel, goddess of earth and riches.
Reyna, goddess of the hearth and war, is married to Thalia, goddess of the hunt.
Conner and Travis are the new twins and Rachel, goddess of family and marriage, is a sworn maiden because she wills her powers to maintain other relationships either between gods or between mortals.
Dakota on the other hand, doesn't like to be restrained as much as a mad person could go.
In this world there's nothing called being a maiden so as to be a hunter, bullshit I'm telling you, goddess Thalia herself is married.
Piper, the goddess of love and beauty knows best than to fall in love. Meg is one of the young gods, still closed in her bulb.
Also pffft, Thanatos who? I'm sure Nico can manage it all.
Another generation of demigods arise within no god is whoring around, the gods observe mortals and seek potential within them and when a god catches a mortal child leveling up to their preferences they claim them as a sort of blessing and take them under their wings.
The camps theme is surly still there, merged into one camp because one for some reason humans are less, and two because there's nothing called greek and roman gods anymore, only one version.
Demigods still go on quests, and as we know gods can't directly help them but they always make sure not to use mortals unless it's necessaity, and they try to help as much as they can.
I'd really love to live in a world like that! This post started off as a little imagine then quickly turned into world building, lol.

✧ Erimenthe - Hercules OC ✧
Tumblr media
I haven’t thought about my Hercules self-insert in forever, but here she is anyway! I might make some updates to her design in the future.
Erimenthe is one of Meg’s cousins and fellow princess of Thebes.
With her social status, Erimenthe is well respected by many, but she also tends to make others uncomfortable due to her quiet nature. She’s very shy and sensitive and really doesn’t like to go out often.
Erimenthe takes great pride in art, literature, and nature. She associates herself with history and stories surrounding the Gods and Goddesses. Some of her hobbies include picking flowers, writing her own stories, and creating art.
Erimenthe is far from being crowned a queen, but she still takes her role as a princess seriously. She’s willing to stop any kind of hate or negativity going on in Thebes, as she wants respect and rights for all. She can also tend to be childish, which she often uses to relieve stress at times.
She’s also known to be a hopeless romantic, and even fell in love with Athena. Much to the mortal woman’s surprise, Erimenthe ended up catching the goddess’s eye herself!
Some concept art of her as a goddess, I might change it up as well.

Wow. I just scrolled through your art and wow. It was all incredible and you should be so proud of the talent that have! It was all gorgeous and has a well balanced look of realism and cartoon. I’m not sure if you take requests but I really would like it if you could draw Linh. Something in my gut just says that if you did so Linh would look like an absolute goddess.
I honestly love your work and have no words for it because I can’t describe how amazing it is!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you very much, that's incredibly kind of you--and I hope these Linh's live up to the absolute goddess imaginings you had, as she was a delight to draw and I tried some new things.
Since it's pride month (@kotlcpridemonth2023), I did both an abrosexual and an asexual color scheme (I couldn't decide between the suggestions), but if anyone would like this Linh in a different flag I'd be more than happy to oblige <3

Hi! First of all I hope you are having and amazing day/night! I happened to find this little blog that his helping demigods to find their godly parents and as someone who really unable to solve their own personality I would be very happy if you could help me out too!
Sooo somethings about myself:
1) I study at the univeristy at the moment for two different professions (One is Gastronomy and Culunary Art while the other one is Ethnography)
2) My hobbies are drawing, listening music, reading, writing, swimming, hiking, cooking, conduct research on history and cultures and doing some little crafting projects. Most of the people who knows my hobbies often tells me that I'm good at drawing and writing. Also from some experience I'm pretty good at acting too
3) I have an interesting connection between kids and animals. Somehow I make most of the young kids relaxed and happy when I take care of them. Same could go for animals too. Many of my acquaintances said that veterinary medicine or teaching could be good professions for me when choosing a department but I really didn't want to leave my love for researching.
4) I mostly have a mixed taste when it comes to music but most of my playlists consist of alternative singers and music groups. My fave Alt music category is Glam Rock, I can listen any kind of Glam Rock for ours.
5) My love languages are speding quality time and giving gifts.
6) My social life is kind of weird tbh. Most people a little shy about approaching me. One of my close friends actually straight up told me that I was looking so intimidating and happy while being alone that she got scared to approach me for a while. But in realty I'm just afraid that I won't make a good impressions in people (I thing this is some kind of anxiety ?). Also I'm not very good at endure people who are not willing to develop or do good things for themselves, "stupid" people (which there is a lot of them in my country) in my book so whenever I get in a chat with them I somehow use my expressions more than normal so that they understand I don't wish to talk with them.
7) I have this weird thing about my look. I don't like to be standard. Just as I can express myself with my clothing, I think I can do the same with my body. That's why I like tattos, colored hairs, piercings and such. Also some little step to achive my thought made me realize I was and am genderfluid. Soo I think it was also a win win.
Hello camper! Glad to be of help 😌 honestly I had the same problem, and then as soon as I got input from others I was like "wait yeah it really was obvious" 😅😅😅
Ok so I had to do some research BUT
I reckon you're a Demeter kid. Demeter is traditionally goddess of the harvest, but she is also the goddess of culinary arts. Although it's not explicitly stated, I'm so very sure the Demeter kids are the most multicultural cabin. You can't tell me that Demeter doesn't travel all over the world to see all the different crops and plants and dishes other countries have, even if her home base is still America. She's also the goddess of fertility and her children are natural nurturers (despite what dear Meg McCaffrey may make you think), which makes sense why babies and animals are drawn to you.
Well, child of Demeter, welcome to Camp Half Blood! Cabin 4 is unfortunately still under construction, although hopefully it'll be finished soon - for the time being, you'll have to continue camping out in Cabin 11. On the up side, Miranda Gardner, head counsellor of Demeter Cabin, has just negotiated that her and her siblings get a section of the cabin exclusively to themselves, so that should be more comfortable. I'm honestly not sure how she pulled that off, although I will say I saw Meg walking around earlier with an extremely smug look on her face... and some shiny new steel-toed boots...

the March sisters as Greek goddesses? (Beth is Hestia and no one can change my mind)
You just combined of my favorite things together and I am stoked! Also, sorry it took a little while, I wanted to be as accurate as I could in my choices.
Marmee- I am adding her just because, and she would be Rhea, Goddess of the Female Fertility. She is also was the goddess of motherhood and femininity, and was the mother to the Olympians. Marmee has been considered one of literature's best mother figures and Rhea seems to be the best match for her.
Meg- My instinct is to go to Hera, Goddess of Marriage and Women. Meg embraced her femininity, had longed to be married and have children, and actually wanted it from an early age compared to her sisters who never married (Beth), didn't want to (Jo), or marry for wrong reasons (Amy).
Jo- I am sure many people would say ether Athena or Artemis (mostly, I am sure due to their statuses of being unmarried/virgin goddesses) but really, she is closer to Calliope, Muse of Epic Poetry. According to Hesiod, she was the leader of the muses, but also the most assertive, which that is certainly Jo, and her only offspring were two boys, Orpheus and Linus, much like Jo's only children were two boys, Rob and Teddy.
Beth- I agree with you 100%! For those that may not know, Hestia is Goddess of the Hearth, Family, and Home. She is said to be a pretty nice goddess, described as being pure and peaceful, and never married, which ties in my headcanon of Beth being aro-ace. There isn't too many myths about her, but it appeared that there wasn't a god or goddess in all of the Pantheon that had disliked her, which is very true with ho everyone viewed Beth.
Amy- This might be a shock to some people, but her goddess would be Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. As an adult, she displayed her newfound wisdom brilliantly especially to Laurie in Europe, which helped him avoid making a big mistake, and had greatly matured from her childhood into adulthood. Athena is also the goddess of Creativity and was known as a patroness of the arts, which fits the rather artistic Amy.
BONUS: THE MEN
Mr. March- After some digging, I thought that the best fit is Hymenaios, God of Marriage Ceremonies. Given that Mr. March is a pastor who had served as a pastor for his own daughters' weddings (Meg confirmed, and Jo headcanoned), it feels pretty apt that he'd be this god, though not much else is known about this god.
John- I was not expecting to pair John with Hermes, God of Travelers, but it works. Hermes' main job was a messenger for the gods and goddesses, but has also been said to be the first teacher to the mortals, teaching them letters, science, and how to use their intellect, which makes in a way, a tutor, just like one Mr. Brooke.
Friedrich- Admittedly, this one was the toughest one, but the one I choose was someone I least expected, Dionysus, God of Wine and Festivities. Friedrich has always been known to be a easy going and fun man, but just like the god, he was also incredibly kind and helpful to his fellow men. One of Dionysis' titles was known as the "protector of misfits" as he had been an outsider in the Pantheon, which is very similar to Friedrich being seen as an outsider due to being a German in America.
Laurie- This is another one that was super easy to think of, Apollo, God of Music. A little fun fact is that Apollo was also the god of prophecy, which I couldn't help but to think about that scene in the book where Laurie ponders over the idea of Jo resembling the thorny red rose and Amy the thorn-free white rose, certain that it must mean something, which in the end it did.
How do you guys think I did? Is there any other god or goddess you'd think could work?

this is me being a classics major whose department was full of professors that focused on under acknowledged groups in Greco-Roman (and Egyptian) society. but I'm going to be upset for a minute about the women in the Hades game. Disclaimer that I obviously haven't finished it and haven't played what's out of Hades II
Achilles and Patroclus get their happy ending but there's no mention of what happened to Briseis. Helen. Any of the other women of the Trojan War. Hera, the literal queen of the gods. Most of the game Persephone isn't even there. Eurydice is made to be an antagonist in Orpheus' arc. Theseus and Asterius get to live in Elysium without mention of Ariadne other than a trinket in Charon's shop. Even though she's just as important and equally canon in her relationship with Zagreus to Thanatos, from what I've seen the fandom leans entirely towards just him and when Meg is there she's a depthless dominatrix. Plenty of mlw and mlm but no wlw (theoretically resolved in II with Melinoe. from what I've seen it looks like it has more goddesses and female mythical figures) Maybe a mention of Callisto as Artemis' "hunting partner" implied as more? Idk that may have been fan art.

YouTube Music (yes, still, shut up), does curated "themed" playlists, for holidays and seasons and, sigh, "vibes," and such. And I made the mistake of trying to listen to one.
I should have taken it as a clear warning that it's called "A Pumpkin Spice State of Mind". Because regardless of your personal lingering embarrassing 2010s-era feelings on that clove-rich flavor complex, I know exactly how YouTube's drones are using those words. This is music what their computers have tol' them that 33 year old white women from Maryland who can pull off leggings like. Like, like a whole buttload.
Which isn't a bad thing. It's just a plainly pandering thing, to a specific audience. That offers a "vibe" that has as much to do with any supposed autumnal aesthetic as rainbow packaging on Mac 'n' Cheese has to do with Pride Month.
Obviously, they expect anyone who is intrigued by a "Pumpkin Spice" music playlist in the first place to be of a certain type. And as I am a gay with expansive musical tastes, there was a good 40% chance this would work for me. But it does not.
...I don't even know who most of these artists are. This is mostly all distinctly "hiker pop," a brilliant term I devised to describe a certain type of vague, airy folk pop that is only not acoustic singer-songwriter music because it isn't that good. This is literally the music white people who upload videos about hiking put in those videos, because trees = guitar, I guess? It is what you get when rich kids who went to art college record music that is very intentionally them pretending they are untrained world-weary bards with stories to tell. I.e., lots of head-singing and mumbling. Like if Mumford & Sons did a bunch of tramadol.
...Like if Mumford & Sons did a bunch MORE tramadol.
I realize "fall-feeling" is subjective, and, apparently, highly gendered. At least amongst members of the white race. But that said...I don't know what we're doing, here. This is like youth pastor ukulele music, minus the Blonde Jesus invisibly massaging his back. It starts off with an Aly & AJ track that is good, that I like. But then it's Happie? Meg Smith? Hollow Coves? Overcoats? Is this a playlist or is this MAD LIBS, amirite?
I literally do not know what any of this is. And I know why. Because this fizzy whatever is as mid as mid can get.
At some point Taylor Swift shows up, because this is a playlist for middle class white women so that was inevitable. Fortunately it is "invisible string," one of the good Taylor Swift songs. But then "Never Be Alone" by Shawn Mendes immediately shows up to remind me why I don't need to be here.
Look. I don't hate any of these people, or any of this music. They are all doing their thing, and everyone is entitled to do that, and people can like it. But this is the most dentists' office, Walmart recruitment video, megachurch foyer, Disney Adults playlist I have ever seen. And I simply can't get over how desperate it all is to pretend it is anything more than that. And, again, WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH CHANGING LEAF COLORS, OR A NOTABLE CHILL IN THE AIR?
This is all intensely personal. But when I think of Fall, I think this:
youtube
Anxious German bagpipe music, played in dank mossy groves, by people wearing horrifying costumes of burlap and hay, thanking the Wheat Goddess for a bountiful harvest by burning a bushel of apples, and maybe the militant virgin Evangelical the Government sent to infiltrate their cult.
You know. Autumn shit.
...That's probably just me. I look awful in leggings.

Reading The Dark Prophecy: Chapter 24 (SPOILERS)
"Squirt those toxic chemicals / Anywhere, really" Do not squirt those toxic chemicals, please.
"Georgina remained docile until she saw Meg . . . 'NERO! NERO!'" Yeah, she would associate Meg with him. I wonder if this will affect the other prisoners' perception of her. "Meg did her famous turn-to-cement expression, shutting down all emotion" That's really sad that a 12 year old can do this really well.
"'Ah, taters,' I cursed." Yes, those accursèd taters.
"Maybe you can talk to it and convince it to let us pass." Leo, how presumptuous of you to assume that all snakes and magical snakelike beings speak the same language.
"COMMODUS STOLEN ART GALLERY" Well, at least he's honest about it. That's better than most museums do.
"her nyah-nyah-nyah look" No, I have no idea what that means. I don't think anyone does.
"That seemed like a stretch" Well, it is magical wood, so it probably gives off some kind of aura. If it were just a regular wooden chair, I doubt she could sense it.
"SESAME STREET!" I think it usually goes open sesame.
"I sang 'Love Is an Open Door' from the Frozen soundtrack. Even this failed." That's because it doesn't love you.
"music, medicine, prophecy, flirting." I've heard of DnD parties seducing doors open. Maybe you could try that. "Medical supplies." And thus the toxic chemicals.
"Oil of vitriol!" I know vitriol as intensely mean verbage, but I have a feeling it's used differently here. Google's Oxford dictionary gives me this archaic definition: VITRIOL (n.): sulfuric acid
"where the goddess Mnemosyne gave birth to the Nine Muses." OH, that's who she is. "it did seem strange that she'd want a reminder of her labor and delivery experience carved on her throne." I don't think it's a reminder. She went through all that pain (Do gods have pain when they give birth?) and effort; she's gonna want to brag, and rightly so. Any mother of nonuplets who survives the experience deserves worlds of praise.
"we've tarried too long." First of all, as soon as you say that, guards are gonna burst in and find you. Percy Jackson rule, remember? Second of all, TARRY (v.): stay longer than intended; delay leaving a place
"turning the chair into a makeshift backpack." I know men tend to be physically stronger than women, but wearing a chair backpack can't be this easy, right? There's no way they're escaping with that on his back.
"had bandoliers of ammonia syringes" BANDOLIER (n.): a shoulder-belt with loops or pockets for cartridges It's the thing that you see cool action-adventure characters wearing to hold a bunch of knives or bullets diagonally across their torso.
"I added a few scalpels to my bandolier, just for fun." My kinda guy. That's exactly what nine-year-old me would do.
"an echoing roar like ocean surf or a cheering crowd. Multicolored lights flashed across the walls." Wtf are the Germani and the Hunters doing?
"straight into a vast spotlighted arena." Yeah, figured. It sounded like a stadium. Apollo will get the attention he's been so desperately pining after these past two books.

warning: oc ramble, and cringe ocs
man, why do my ocs exist. I have four ocs that are the same character, we got the Falkors. Falkor (original), Falkor Kora Falls (villain), Falkor ThaCat (inspo for og), and Falkor Falcon (if they are a hermitsona). They live very different lives. Falkor looks for a way to bring back her dead species, dies, meets a god, kills said god, becomes a god. Kora was raised in a lab, ate her arm in the same lab, escaped and adopted a raccoon. ThaCat went though this whole identity crisis about being my whole Minecraft character. Then Falcon was forced in the death games known as my offbrand traffic life. And all the falkors are dragons
that’s not even talking about the gods ocs. We got Saya, the god of death, time, and illusion. They basically adopt Falkor, but tried to eat her since death has its hunger. Yeelen is the god of light, life, and trust. Saya and Yeelen are married. There’s Sukaro, who is joy, fun, and mischief. Kanu is the god of love, gossip, and art. He is married to Masiki, who herself is the goddess of masks, sadness, and forgery. Then there’s Joli, the widower god, he is the god of fight, fire, and determination.
then there’s all the ocs I made for background characters, and Amari. Amari is Kora’s son, he is a raccoon who was originally an oc for the amazing digital circus. There’s the vex trio, Greg, Reg, and Meg, they’re goons at a lab called ConVex. Yes I made a hermitcraft reference as the lab name. Then there’s Symon Waati and Simon. Symon and Simon have nothing to do with each other. Symon runs a coffee shop. Simon is a self centered scientist. There is February… just a nurse I made based off a color palette. There’s Lucy Lapis, a school coach. Poi Son Karp was originally a spider-man oc, but now he just bites and gives people toxic blood, he’s an illegal vigilante. Then there’s Rodrick and Randy, legally heroes. There’s Oliver, he’s a gunmaker and a villain. Antonio (Big Blue Toni), he’s a crime boss with contacts to anyone and everyone, just anything you need he got it. Also his lackeys, Frank and Lin. Frank and Lin are twins.
lastly we got some honorable mentions, Tasuma a fire dragon. Galasi, a space dragon. Motu, Falkor’s brother. Koklo, Falkor’s sister.
if you read this long… ask me if you wanna know more about the characters. They all mostly have lore.

V: Theadeinos
Timeline: The Age of the Gods
Makaria, the daughter of Hecate, was raised in her Mother's house and academy both her daughter and student. Her childhood was dotted with occasional visits to the House of Hades and playdates with her cousins Thanatos and Zagreus. (Kar and Than are the closest in age.)
She is talented with magic, but also had a knack for experimentation and science/engineering, to which her mother invited Daedalus to tutor her inventive daughter in her youth and adolescence.
As she grew older, she would start going by "Kar" and insistent about being called so. (The younger Chthonics and Aunt Persephone oblige her, Hecate tries but often forgets.) In time, she would be requested to have an audience with the Fates. Whatever had passed in that meeting is between her and the Fates.
Returning, she would shift to her duties as a fully fledged goddess. She would serve as the Fates' envoy and share psychopomp duties with Thanatos. As the goddess of "Blessed Death" it is her duty to claim the souls of heroes and pious. And with that duty leaves her to frequent the House of Hades and Elysium.
When not on duty, she spends her time studying and still corresponding with master Daedalus, taking the data from Zagreus' escape attempts and improving the Underworld.
Kar is also known to draw, paint, tinker and invent things, making art and little automatons as gifts for her family. She loves music but tends to keep it to herself.
PLOT IDEAS:
Bored, Kar ropes in Zagreus (or vice versa) into palace shenanigans.
“Bro, just trust me” Cousin shenanigans as Zag is roped into one of Kar’s experiments
Psychopomp Time With Than
Girls night with Meg and Dusa
Maternal/Child things with Persephone, Hecate, or Nyx
Anything at Hecate’s School with Nemesis or Melinoe
