wanted to draw something with three of my favorite AUs and this popped into my head

Now I know Sonic movie 3 is THE (hot)topic in the fandom rn but bassist Blaze has done irreparable things to my brain since her announcement and I had to get it out of my system somehow.

And that somehow resulted in rockstar alternate universe with the gang and pushin my three favourites together like barbie dolls

Lansoni but like they don’t settle in Camelot. Sonic leaves Camelot to the other knights of the round table and goes on adventures with Lance by his side the whole way.

Lance “You had the chance to be the most powerful Mobian in the land. And you threw it away? Why?”

Sonic “Being king to too boring! I trust that the others can lead Camelot in my absence. I’m the Knight of the Wind Lance, and the winds telling me to run!”

Lance “I will never understand you my lord.”

Sonic “But you’ll follow me?”

Lance “To the ends of the earth.”

HUMAN!AU SONADOW RAAAAA

so, the thing about the megaflora in boscage is that, even though it’s incredibly strong, it’s not particularly smart. they’re plants after all, and so their “thoughts” mainly just consist of violence in service to obtaining food, and violence for the sake of violence. that changes when shadow shows up though.

through their shared black arms dna, the plants are able to connect with him, and they start poking around inside his brain. they see all his thoughts, all his memories, learn what he learns, know what he knows… and suddenly, the megaflora is extremely smart. smart enough to realize that having a mobile unit, not tethered to roots, and with a mouth that can speak for the collective, would be beneficial. so they smother shadow into submission. there’s just too many of them to hold back, once they decide they want him.

once he’s assimilated, they continue to learn more from him, and one thing in particular stands out: the creation of their world. through the eyes of shadow’s memory, they see sonic shatter the paradox prism, and thus, create boscage maze, and therefore the megaflora themselves. this leads the megaflora to the conclusion that their true creator is not gerald, the loathsome traitor who abandoned them, left them to starve, and now seeks to destroy them with project halcyon, but instead sonic.

the megaflora get a sort of reverence for him… “shadow” tells sonic that he forgives him for shattering the prism. tells him it was a good thing, actually. and that’s when sonic starts to clue into something being seriously wrong. frankly, he liked it more when shadow was upset with him... because at least that was really him :(

this is in such a laaate late stage in the AU thats still in wip but i thought what better time than now to give a teaser (context: ↓)

at this moment in time

shadow (used to) work/s at tails' mechanic shop

after sonic finds out about dark rider (after many months of pursuing shadow/dark rider, in many different ways if you know what i mean), sonic leaves for a press tour only to come back to find shadow gone

sonic, during his races (both pro and underground) and his many many press tours, will on the occasion encounter shadow/dark rider at random in an unwitting chase... like two magnets in the dark, finding each other all of a sudden... that is until shadow's past catches up to him and to sonic as well..
